“Oh shit! Taylor, we forgot the fucking incense!” you cried, scrambling over to your vinyl shelf.

Taylor startled awake, scrambling across the floor to you. You looked up at her and cracked up. There was a smoldering pile of incense next to an old vinyl you hadn't listened to in years. You giggled, looking at Taylor. She looked back at you and broke as well. You both laughed as you cleaned up the mess. You were both just happy you didn't burn the house down.

“Oh my God,” you smiled, wiping your eyes.

“Yeah.” Taylor returned the smile. “How did we end up on the floor anyway?” she asked.

“We got wasted on that cheap-ass rosè.” you smirked.

You sat down on the couch, Taylor following. You kicked your feet up into her lap, relaxing as much as you could. Taylor scowled at you but didn't make you move.

“Hey, I've been meaning to ask you this.” Taylor pursed her lips in thought.

“Yeah?” you cocked your head, waiting.

You'd looked up to her as you blossomed as an artist and actress. You were almost six years younger than Taylor, so you'd grown up with her music. You kept calm until the after-party. You were getting shots at the bar when Taylor came up behind you.

“Congratulations.” she smiled, leaning against the bar.

“Ohmygodthankyou.” you stumbled.

“Relax. I'm Taylor, even though I guess you know that.” she chuckled, reaching her hand out to shake yours.

“Y/N,” you murmured, shaking her hand. You felt your cheeks burn a deep scarlet, almost maroon.

"God, you are so perfect." you whispered. You slid over to her, tracing your finger over the birthmark on her collarbone.

"Baby, you don't ever have to ask." you smiled. You pressed your lips to hers. Her hand found the back of your neck, pulling you deeper into her.
