Post NTWEWY AU: Hanekoma reflects on the previous changes of Minamimoto's wings and Joshua chimes in, as they observe Minamimoto absorbing higher frequency fragment...stuffs.

While Minamimoto and Coco are in some sort of like...higher plane-ish place, Minamimoto does what does and continues to absorb stuff around him. Hanekoma did, generally warn, Minamimoto not to run around and absorb stuff. The question is, is Minamimoto intentionally ignoring the advice and this might be subconscious or...Out of his control.

Or is Minamimoto absorbing things because that's what he does, and it has "worked" - and will work even better this time, for sure.

(And I'm debating that if it's something he's consciously doing, is he taking anything he can, or if he's focusing it - like, if could try and slowly absorb Joshua's power in particular... would that be helpful? And if Joshua is aware...they could both dance on the edge of disaster.)

I figured a good way to show his changes would be through his wings. I wrote about a potential link between Reaper wings, Soul Pulvis wings and Felidae Cantus' floating eyes in more detail here. We've seen Minamimoto get his wings messed up from Taboo, so why not Soul Pulvis? And for Another Day Minamimoto, his wings could create the floating eyes in the Felidae Cantus fight.

Small head-cannon from working on these panels: Hanekoma loves freely broadcasting his "writing report like thoughts" and Joshua makes a habit to chime in. Hanekoma can only get so annoyed when he's the one broadcasting them in the first place! There's nothing in these panels that indicate that Hanekoma is broadcasting his thoughts, so it's something I only really thought about after finishing it. Originally Hanekoma was going to be writing a report so Joshua could either read it or hear Hanekoma talk out loud.

Anyways you should watch The Book of Life it has absolutely BEAUTIFUL stylization and character designs (most characters are wooden puppets) and it’s a very fun and cute and heartfelt watch :]

A Descendants one, inspired by Mysterious Fathoms Below, with the reactions of a lot of the characters to the death of a certain character who shall remain unnamed to avoid spoilers for MFB.

On the one hand, the only way he’ll be safe from Voldemort and his followers is if he’s with a blood relative of his mother, due to Lily’s sacrifice. But on the other hand, knowing the Durselys’ attitude towards witchcraft, there’s the risk that Harry will become an Obscurial, just like Aberforth’s son Credence and his and Albus’ sister Ariana...

I love getting to see songs performed like this for the first time, since by this time Tomoriru couldn’t give 100% in terms of dancing due to her diagnosis.

I put Coco on the freezer and leave it there for days.

Every once in a while I'd open the freezer to see it's hopeful expression, only to grab something else and close it again

Warning: Hypothermia, wing whump, tiny whumpee.

Occasionally you will hear Coco crying out for you from inside the freezer, but otherwise, it makes no sound. It's wings are practically frozen within a couple of hours and It's body has gone numb, meaning it couldn't escape quick enough to even try.

So, it doesn't.

Every time it hears you opening the freezer, it still tries Its hardest to crawl towards the door to greet you, a hopeful smile on Its face and Its arm stretched out. It's too cold to speak, so it simply sits there, hoping this is the day it'll get to leave.

It absolutely shatters Its heart all over again each time you shut the door in Its face again.

By the time you finally bring it out again, you have to scoop it out with your hand because It's so close to being frozen. It can barely move anymore, but still manages to snuggle up to your hand with a tiny sniffle.

these faux locs ATE okay like she looked phenomenal and they suited her so well. fans love this one but it’s not as popular as other styles she’ll do later.

something simple, something for the summertime. brown/ginger knotless braids for this era. it was a fun time for coco stans during dna but her hair wasn’t really part of it.

jumbo braids for the win. very simple but it’s clear she can pull anything off at this point so the public loved it.

when i tell you the idol teasers broke twitter. “HER HAIR” was trending for DAYS. she cut her hair on her own and nearly gave her manager a heart attack but it was worth it because she looked great. most fans loved it but some complained saying they missed her hair.

welcome back red! giving her hair time to grow out, she put it in knotless braids and as a sort of “ah, fuck it” moment, dyed her hair too. her pictures were used for months in little mermaid fancasts and she finally gave the people what they wanted when she posted a cover to one of the songs.

giving her hair breathing time, mots7 era she went natural. she is so happy that the hair dye did not damage her hair too bad. fans were excited to see her hair without the purple.

for dynamite, she went with a shoulder length black wig. she looked like a 90s model and you know that comparison brought it in a slew of new fans.
