The daughter of a wrongfully convicted Nova Scotia man says burying her father next month will renew her intense grief — especially if a criminal investigation into his case remains stalled. Amanda Huckle says when her father Glen Assoun died about two years ago, she felt the accumulated injustice of the almost 17 years he spent in a federal prison for a crime he was found not guilty of committing. "As his life left his body, it's like all his pain just sat in the palm of our hands and we're left to carry this," she said in a telephone interview Wednesday.

Kathleen Folbigg's children most likely suffered from various genetic conditions that led to their deaths. Folbigg was wrongfully imprisoned in 2003 and ordered to serve a minimum of 25 years for the suffocation murders of three of her children and manslaughter for the fourth.

tbh shri’iia’s stats in game are from me min-maxing it so her build is optimal but now i kinda want to keep the low int and wis 😭 like she is really Not the smartest, i fear, but she is however very charismatic! and shri’iia’s charisma isn’t just on how she speaks - it’s in her presence and body language as well. like i think she’s rather charming when you interact with her to the point that she can say the most crass things but it’s sounds like a joke - and almost endearing - when it comes from her mouth. she’s a person who you’d love to have a drink with because you know you’re gonna have a good time - she’s great company! - except she’s not genuine most of the time, and she’s actually fishing information from you when she asks you things about yourself but it’s not so obvious. anyway i like the idea of shri’iia having this natural charm about her, and whenever she is doing something related to her oath, she does it with so much belief and conviction that you feel compelled to believe it as well.

Erik and Lyle Menendez were verbally, physically, and sexually abused horrifically by their parents from early childhood. In 1989, the brothers took the lives of their abusers, fearful for how the abuse was progressing and concerned it would never end without their intervention. Their father was a powerful man, and they likely would have been dismissed by law enforcement and then harmed even worse by their parents for daring to speak their truth. Erik and Lyle have been in jail since the early 90’s.

Erik and Lyle’s family have created a petition to help voice the support of the public for their release as the DA reviews new evidence. This is an infuriating case and one I have been endlessly passionate about for a very, very long time. Please consider lending your voice to this cause. The Menendez brothers have suffered enough.
