Unfortunately you have a pathetic Feysand shipper on your post. Those people scare me cause if this were real life they would likely defend this shit under the premise "but it's morally grey" again excusing and justifying it especially the pregnancy plot when in reality this would be seen as abuse and is quite triggering to abuse survivors yet they can't even comprehend that fact because of how far up their own asses they are in defending their delusions. They say they don't try to push their opinions on others yet they go on a ten page essay on one of your posts. The biggest hypocrites around I tell ya.
First of all, thank you for the support, I truly appreciate it 🙏.
Honestly, when I first woke up and saw that wall of text on my post, I was half-asleep and just stared at my screen like, “hey there, chill!”
And that wasn’t even the only one. I’ve got messages telling me I “know nothing about the books,” that I “just defend toxic people,” or that I am a “Tamlin stan” — even though I didn’t mention Tamlin once in that post.
All I did was express a personal opinion and try to engage with the story from a more grounded, real-life perspective.
And let’s be real: if your best friend was assaulted by someone known for mind manipulation, and a few months later she came to you saying she was “in love” with him, wouldn’t you pause and question what’s actually going on? That doesn’t make you toxic or heartless, it makes you concerned. And I sometimes feel like that’s exactly the point of the book being told through Feyre’s eyes: to experience her perspective as she saw it, whether or not it was influenced or manipulated.
That’s also why in ACOSF, when we see things from a different character’s point of view, the image of Rhys shifts — drastically. And it proves how perspective can hide or reveal truths, especially in morally grey narratives.
At the end of the day. That’s the beauty of literature , it invites thought, discussion, and debate. But maybe we could all try doing that without the ten-page essays and personal insults next time, yeah?

I had an intense conversation with @jessicataylor___ and @london_artist1 at the Tate Britain about the history of How the Caribbean move to England in the 1970's and I was so confused, I remember I watched a film at the @thrdhrzn about the same topic and I was very confused of this history and asked them why should I care??? I didn't learn this at school in primary and secondary school or think about it but now I realised how much information we lack here , we only been taught up to Independence and I agree that the critical writing , thinking and talking is going down, some may argue with me but bring it on! We need to!!! We are slowing sinking...so I bought the book to learn more of this history!!! #quicksand #criticalreading #criticalwriting #sheenarose #educatingoneself

The MDM of the Interent
Misinformation - https://www.influencerintelligence.com/blog/zh/instagram-takes-a-stand-against-dietox-culture
Misinformation relates to content which does not mean any ill intent but is not correct or fully accurate. Misinformation can create plenty of issues when it is disseminated to a broad audience especially if they are young and influential. Girls and women alike already face many body image issues with the amount of photoshopped and edited media creating unrealistic expectations for beauty standards. The promotion of Fit Teas and diet suppressing lollipops the Kardashians like to promote promise easy weight loss. This, however, is not the case as many of the products are in fact natural laxatives and there is no such thing as easy weight loss since it takes plenty of time and effort to correct one's diet, sleep and exercise.
Disinformation - https://www.bmj.com/company/newsroom/foreign-disinformation-social-media-campaigns-linked-to-falling-vaccination-rates/
As some parts of the world begin the return to normal life pre-pandemic, many will remember the hard work put into developing the vaccine allowing us to return to this state. This, however, did not stop thousands from spreading disinformation online directly harming the rate at which vaccinations were administered. Disinformation refers to information that was purposely falsified and or fabricated for the purpose of harm. As disinformation about the side effects of the vaccine, its effectiveness and its legitimacy were disseminated among other things, it decreased the number of people who would get vaccinated. It should be noted that this doesn’t only apply to the COVID-19 vaccines but to others such as smallpox, and measles among others as well.
Mal-information - https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/ive-seen-how-institutions-protect-men-accused-of-abuse-heres-what-we-can-do/2018/12/18/71fd876a-02ed-11e9-b5df-5d3874f1ac36_story.html
A popular court case that has been trending recently involving Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has procured a large following of the trial. Mal-information relating to information which isn’t inherently wrong but is distributed with the intent of harm is one of the main causes of the trial. As the verdict was reached on Tuesday in Johnny Depp's favour, it is valid to say that this article heavily affected Johnny's career and reputation. Although there may have been some truth to Ambers's statements, she ultimately defames Johnny in the article by stating things he didn’t necessarily do by creating elaborate wording.

Iran: Grand Ayatollah says Qur’an is ‘healing for all pains of humans and can solve all problems’
Iran: Grand Ayatollah says Qur’an is ‘healing for all pains of humans and can solve all problems’
He cites this verse as evidence: “A book that we have revealed to you, full of blessing, so that they may ponder its signs, and that men of understanding may reflect.” (Qur’an 38:29) Yet states that implement the teachings of the Qur’an, including Iran, are human rights basket cases. WARNING! I've always been a huge fan of Florence Parry Heide, but this book is best read when you have the time and inclination for a good talk with your little audience! 💪💪💪 Heide's "How To Be A Hero" (2016), illustrated by Chuck Groenink, is a super clever look at the messages we give our kids and how they receive them, and the influence of pop culture. Gideon wants to be a hero, but his idea of what a hero is may be just a little skewed... The interplay between the story (Gideon's perspective) and Groenink's artwork (what's actually happening) is brilliant and often hilarious, and makes for a fun conversation with kids about the differences and what they mean. A great storytime book for prompting discussion! ⚫ ⚫ #noodlenutskidsbooks #bookstagraminthe6ix #howtobeahero #florenceparryheide #chuckgroenink #chroniclekids #heroes #heroism #mixups #misunderstanding #beingbrave #beingfamous #read #igbooks #librarylife #fortheloveofbooks #readwithriver_discussions #kidsbookstagram #readingmatters #talkingwithkids #talktoyourkids #kidsreading #readtokids #kidslitart #criticalreading #picturebooksofinstagram #kidslovebooks #newchildrensbook #lifelongreaders #classroomreadalouds https://www.instagram.com/p/B3nE0l5HPLF/?igshid=dwdpoy1yidb

Critical Reading Activity
1) What issue is the writer focusing on?
The author focuses on the lack of research done on memes as an effective tool for learning.
2) Does the writer take a clear stand on the issue?
Yes. Ciro Scardina is enthusiastic about popular culture, and shares his interests with his students to ensure a better relationship with his students because he believes it encourages them to learn because learning is made fun.
3) Thesis.
Memes deserve to be noticed for the benefits they offer teachers as a tool to build relationships and to students as a tool to express their learning.
4) Who is the intended audience?
The intended audience could be educators in the field to encourage others to participate in using memes in an educational setting to yield results.
5) Author’s purpose for writing.
He desires to affect change. He wants more people to be aware of the effects memes can have on teacher and students in a classroom setting.
6) What is the writer’s tone?
The author’s tone is personable, enthusiastic, and positive. He tries to gain the reader’s attention by being peppy and connects with the reader by using popular culture.
7) Does the writer seem to assume the reader will agree with her position?
I do not think the writer automatically thinks the reader will agree because there is barely any evidence correlating memes and education. However, he defines memes in several contexts and how they could be applied to learning and forming relationships.
8) Evidence for thesis? Is it enough?
Uses logic: “through pop culture, student understand that you get them and that they matter...They spawn laughter, conversation, and a sense of commonality.” He uses ted talks and blog posts for additional support. Good development of ethos. It is enough for the time being and its purpose, this article could motivate someone to conduct research on the topic.
9) Unfamiliar jargon
Caveat - a warning or proviso of specific stipulations, conditions, or limitations.
barrage - bombard (someone) with something.
palpable - (of a feeling or atmosphere) so intense as to seem almost tangible.
10) Does the author consider, address, and/or refute opposing arguments?
Considers that there are people that focus on more “important” categories like politics and religion which divide people instead of the “fluff” such as what falls under popular culture and brings people together.
11) Citations
Include blog posts, a Ted Talk, New York Times article
12) Do you agree with the points the author made?
I agree because I’ve had teachers that employed memes into the classroom experience. It works to keep a student’s attention since most memes are funny, thus making learning fun and more likely for a student to retain that information.
13) What connections can you make to other articles?
Like most meme articles, the writer posted photos of memes for visual appeals and clarification. Most articles focus on memes as popular culture that evolves by spreading it to others that could re-post or alter them.
