Würfel!!!

Ich könnte jetzt stundenlang über Würfel reden und wie wichtig das richtige Gewicht und Material sind, dass man ein gut lesbares Design braucht und sie nicht die Immersion killen und niemanden ablenken sollen.

Mach’ ich aber nicht. 

Warum auch? 

Soll doch jeder würfeln, womit er mag und vor allem, mit dem, was er schön findet.

Es gibt natürlich den ein oder anderen Spieler/GM der sich über deine leuchtenden LED-Würfel aufregen wird, weil sie, "ihn blenden", aber wenn wir ehrlich sind, ist er nur neidisch, weil er nicht vor dir auf die Idee kam :D

Aber sind wir mal kurz ehrlich:

Ich glaube das der klassische Würfel, gerade durch die ganze Corona-Pandemie als wir alleine in unseren Kellern ... ähm ich meine Höhlen saßen und meistens über Discord und andere Apps spielen mussten sehr redundant geworden ist.

Durch Würfel-Apps sind wir ja gar nicht mehr auf Würfel angewiesen gewesen. Und wenn ich nicht mit meinen geilen 300 € Obsidian Würfeln angeben kann ... WARUM SOLL ICH MIR DIE DANN NOCH KAUFEN VERDAMMT!!! Aber ich schweife ab ...

Ich hab mir vor kurzen selber ein ziemlich witziges Würfelset bei den tollen Menschen von @worldofdice gekauft und bin von der Qualität und vom Design total begeistert.

LEUTE!!! WÜRFEL MIT PANDAS!!! ICH RASSTE AUS!!!

Nicht nur das sie wunderschön sind und jetzt jeder auf die Seite von World of Dice gehen sollte, um sich ein Obsidian Würfelset zu kaufen, nein, sie liegen auch echt gut in der Hand und haben mir schon den ein oder anderen Wurf gerettet (Hier an der Stelle schlechten Halbling-Witz einfügen, sowas wie: Mit Nat 1 hast du wohl deine Größe gewürfelt, was? Na ja egal).

Habt ihr einen Lieblingswürfel oder ein ganzes Set? Seit ihr eher die Basic-Bitches was Würfel angeht oder habt ihr die LED-Supersound-Würfel?

i’m currently stuck at my professional work because my wacom mobile studio pro has had 4 fatal defects in 1,5 years. can’t recommend buying it. i’ll switch to a simpler wacom cintiq pro now, thanks to my dealer. i’ve lost many weeks of work time because of these defects.

in the meantime i have to borrow a lot of money from friends and family like a fucker to keep my head over water. great feeling. fuck money.

so i keep myself busy with developing a pen&paper tabletop rpg system called GATE. my future goal for it is to be a universal and modular system. at the moment it’ll take place in a fantasy adventure setting called Eart, though.

up there you can see the logo for GATE. i also came up with 6 different cultures for Eart: the Orms (see picture), the Brobos(see picture), the Eol, the Manyo, the Ult and the Rvn.

now i’m developing the magic system for my game, which is quite a mindfuck to come up with, because i want it to be quick and easy to handle, modular and founded in real life physics.

GATE is based on the free-to-use How-To-Be-A-Hero-System: http://www.howtobeahero.de/ but my system refined much further.

Maybe when I'm done with the redraws/redesigns I'm gonna do a side by side comparison of each, but who knows, maybe tomorrow my creativity is gone :D

I did some redesigns of Ophelia and Rachel because their character models and outfits have changed quite a bit; Phee is in her prom (well not technically prom, more like graduating-from-college-ball) dress, and Rachel in her hero suit (her mask makes her look like a librarian but that just fuels her rage against the hero dress codes)
