Here's my crochet pants that I wear nearly every day. My boyfriend and I had a competition to see who could make better crochet pants, we didn't use any patterns but he did watch a pattern tutorial on YouTube. I'll post his pants when he's done lol

I am a Jill-of-All-Trades. I consider myself mediocre at everything I do. I started thinking this way because of a guy way back in the day. Obviously, that's not good. That's not a healthy way of thinking about yourself. So, I worked on my way of thinking and changed it up. Now, I consider myself mediocre at everything (with exceptions) I do because it keeps me humble. No one likes someone who comes off cocky. Confident? Sure. Cocky? No.

I decided about 3 weeks ago (from December 5, 2022) that I wanted to try to crochet pants. The concept for them seemed easy enough. I knew how to perform all of the stitches in the pattern and could follow it easily. It also helps that I have crocheted a skirt before, sin pattern. The next week, I asked Josh (the husband, for those who stumble across this post) to help me choose my yarn and off I went!

Of course, a project is not an actual crochet project to me until I completely tear it apart and start over after having worked a few hours of time. But I was determined. And now...

I have a completed pants!

*Achievement Unlocked*

These pants have passed the "can I wear them in public?" test! While they aren't perfect, they are to me! Each dropped and re-picked up stitch is filled with love, passion, determination. Unlike other projects that lay uncompleted, I consistently came back every day to work on it for a few hours.

I don't believe that I should call myself mediocre when it comes to my abilities with crochet. I think I have to say that I am kinda good or okay now.

And that makes me really proud of myself.
