2024 Ice Hockey Women's World Championship: A Primer
When: April 3rd to April 14th. The schedule here will tell you when games are taking place both in your local time and venue time.
Where is it taking place?: Utica, New York
Where to watch:
For the first time, we will have ALL games broadcasted in USA and Canada. I am not sure how many games are going to be broadcasted outside North America, but we can reasonably assume they will at least carry their home country games
TSN will carry all games in canada
NHL Network and ESPN+ will carry a mix of the games together. See The Ice Garden's Michelle Jay's tweet for the schedule of which games are where.
SVT (Sweden)
Discovery (Finland)
Czech TV (Czechia)
Magenta (Germany)
TBS (Japan)
Swiss TV (Switzerland)
If you are not in any of these countries, or you are but are struggling to find a way to watch, please feel free to DM me and I will do my best to find you something
What is the tournament format?:
There are two divisions, Division A with the five ranked teams going into the tournament and Division B with the next five. Each division plays a round robin style ranking round, and at the conclusion the bottom two teams in Division B will be relegated, while the rest automatically make the quarterfinals. Quarterfinals will go A1-B3, A2-B2, A3-B1, A4-A5. In addition to the finals for gold that will take place, there will be a bronze medal game and a fifth place game for ranking. Standings will use a three point systems.
Who is in each division?:
Division A: USA, Canada, Czechia, Switzerland, Finland
Division B: Sweden, Japan, Germany, China, Denmark
Who are each teams?
Here is where it gets long. Below the cut I will tell you each teams roster, how they did last year, their reasonable goals, notable roster changes, and three players to watch. I will do my best to keep this informative, but brief.
USA
Roster:
Tumblr media
(Text version available here)
2023 Result: Won Gold
2024 goals: Win gold again
Notable roster changes: This team continues to go very very young. Abby Roque is the most notable roster omission here. Top defender Lee Stecklein is also not on this roster, due to her taking a break from the National Team. Amanda Kessel was also left off, but she has not been active within the last year as a player, so not entirely surprising.
Three players to watch: Grace Zumwinkle has been one of the stars of the PWHL so far, and is likely to get more responsibility on the national team than ever before, so keep an eye on her and how she may translate her successful season to the tournament. Rory Guilday may only be 21, but she is heading to her third senior world championships, a long time favorite of the team USA coaching staff with her shutdown defensive skills who they'll hope can take another step this tournament with Lee Stecklein absent. Joy Dunne is the youngest player on this roster, just 18 years old coming off a 24-18-42 season in Ohio and a national championship. This will be her first senior level tournament, and I'd expect her to get ample offensive opportunities.
Canada

2023 result: Silver
2024 goals: Gold
Notable roster changes: Micah Zandee-Hart is the most surprising one after being on the roster for a few years. Claire Thompson is absent as is Rebecca Johnston, but that is more expected while Thompson is finishing medical school and Johnston has not played in the past calendar year. Cousins Nicole and Julia Gosling join the team after strong rivalry series showings.
Three players to watch: Natalie Spooner is the front runner for PWHL MVP, so everyone will be watching to see if she continues to score at the rate she has been. Expected number one overall pick in the upcoming PWHL draft, Sarah Fillier, will be playing in her last showing before the draft happens as she finished out her college season. Nicole Gosling was the highest scoring defender in the NCAA this year at Clarkson, going 14-25-39 in 40 regular season games, so seeing how she impacts this blue line is a must watch.
Czechia
Roster

2023 result: Bronze
2024 goal: upset their opponent in the semifinals and make the finals
Roster changes: The bad news is top defender Dominika Lásková is out with injury. The good news is star goaltender Klára Peslarová is healthy unlike last year, as is blueline mainstay Tereza Radová. Alena Mills retired from the national team. Kristýna Pátková did not make the team this year, in her place comes Boston University commit Anežka Čabelová who had a stellar U18 worlds. Karolína Kosinová did not make the team, in her place is HV71 assistant captain Klara Seroiszková.
Three players to watch: 17 year old Adéla Šapovalivová was the highest scoring u18 player in the SDHL (Sweden's highest level league) this year and one of their top scorers in general going 11-18-29 in 32 regular season games. She was also a key part of the U18 team that upset Canada in the semifinals to advance to Czechia's first ever u18 final. With Mills retired, she will get more minutes at her third (!!!!) senior worlds. Next up is Klára Peslarová, and if you're not familiar with her game, she is straight up a top five goaltender in the world. She just came off a stellar season with Brynäs IF in Sweden where she had a .935 save percentage in 20 games, and has been consistently stellar on the international stage as well like when she had 55 saves against the united states at the olympics. Kateřina Mrázová is a fantastic playmaker has been a bright spot on a Ottawa tam that has struggled to find itself, and is also one of the most veteran members of this squad. If they win, she'll have to lead the way.
Finland
Roster
Tumblr media
Text version available here
2023 finish: Fifth Place
2024 goals: Bronze
Roster changes: Two of their key offensive pieces Elisa Holopainen and Michelle Karvinen, are back and healthy this year! Susanna Tapani is also back on this team. Those are three absolute big pieces that completely change this roster for the better. A few depth roster forwards were left off in their place, most notably Kiira Yrjänen. Defense has more shakeups. Sini Karjalainen is a notable omission and long time defender Rosa Lindstedt retired. Eve Savander, Oona Koukkula, and Siiri Yrjölä slot in.
Three players to watch: I've consistently been a very big Elisa Holopainen fan and I think she's one of the best players in the world and not talked about nearly enough. Just as she began to really shine in the international stage, she got hit with injury, but as she's come back with year she dominated Finland's league going 32-25-57 in 19 games. I think I've put her as a player to watch like every year I've done a preview and I'm going to keep going it. Finland has faced a lot of questions about their goaltending following Räty and the team going their separate ways, but right now, it is Sanni Ahola's crease to lose. She was stellar in the three games she started last year for Finland in the world championship and was solid for st cloud state with a .935 save percentage in 17 starts this year. With Lindstedt's retirement, Krista Parkkonen will see more minutes, coming off a breakout sophomore year in a university of vermont program that's developed a decent amount of international blueliners.
Switzerland
Roster
Tumblr media
(Text version here)
2023 result; 4th place
2024 goals: bronze
Roster changes: quite a lot of shake up. no Caroline spies as their mainstay backup, Alexandra Lehmann takes her place. No Sarah Forster, who wore an A and led their defense last time around. She only played 7 games in SWHL this year, so likely injury is at play.
Players to watch: it is, of course, the Alina Müller and Lara Stalder show until it isn’t. So, besides them, the players to watch are Andrea Brändli is another “top five goaltender in the world” to know, sporting a .937 in her first year playing in Sweden post a stellar college career. 18 year old Ivana Marie Wey just had a great year playing pro as Stalder’s teammate and will be important for the next Swiss wave. With no Forster, Lara Christen will take on a lot of the top defensive minutes most likely.
Sweden
Roster
Tumblr media
(Text version available here)
2023 results: sixth
2024 hopes: return to group A
Roster changes: no Sarah Grahn which isn’t entirely expected but still a big change, in response Ida Boman gets the call. No Fanny Rask or Olivia Carlsson, who retired.
Three players to know: Ebba Hedqvist is a 17 year old elite center coming off a great performance at worlds and has an eye for playmaking that will be critical for Sweden. Maja Nylén Persson is the #1 defender of team Sweden that has consistently been the top defender by points in the SDHL and won defender of the year in 2022-2023, and she is only 23 years old. Another part of Sweden’s insane center depth is Lina Ljungblom, who will likely play in Montreal next year and had 46 points in 36 regular season games. In the various tournaments/friendlies that Sweden has played leading up to this (ie five nations cup), she has 10 goals in 15 games. These three players are truly some of my favorite in hockey right now
Japan
Roster
Tumblr media
(Text version available here)
2023 result: 7th
2024 hopes: return to group A
Roster changes: honestly we mostly running this back. One or two u18 add ins but overall the same as 2023
Players to watch: stop me if you heard this before but Akane Shiga is very good. The PWHL Ottawa player is the only player from Japan to score against the USA, and will continue to be japans biggest threat. Another big player is Haruka Toko, one of the SDHL’s top scorers this year who had established herself as a top talent in the last two years. This year, the 27 year old had 13 goals and 30 assists in 36 games in Sweden this year. She was one of seven players in Japan to play in Sweden this year, a year that saw a new high in Japanese players going overseas to play. That also includes my last player to watch, Yoshino Enomoto, who played in switzerland and still put up around a point per game on a team that struggled (they folded in the offseason then came back and built their roster late and were ultimately relegated, but she was a bright spot in her first season there)
Fun fact: did you know three pairs of sisters play on this team? Akane and Aoi Shiga, Haruka toko and Ayaka Hitosato, and Rio and Riri Noro
Germany
Roster
Tumblr media
(text version available here)
2023 Results: Eighth
2024 Goal: Make quarterfinals and avoid relegation
Roster changes: Both goalies behind Abstreiter last year, Chiara Schultes and Johanna May, did not make this roster with Hemmerle and Loist taking their place. The d core remains the same besides Daria Gleissner taking Heidi Strompf's place. National team vet Marie Delarbre is absent with injury, Sonja Weidenfelder did not play hockey this year and her status is uncertain, and Anne Bartsch did not make the roster. In their place we have Emily Nix, Lilli Welcke, and Lucia Schmitz.
Three players to watch: Luisa Welcke was with Germany last year, but has a second season in the NCAA under her belt and a nice depth player performance at Boston University. She will have more chances to show off her offense this tournament than in the NCAA, and I'm excited to see what she can show. Jule Schiefer had a revelation this year in the German league. From last year where she only scored 4 goals in 20 games, this year she scored 22 in 24. Let's see if she can continue this at worlds. Nina Jobst-Smith will play big defensive minutes for Germany after finishing her fourth season at Minnesota Duluth, this time serving as an assistant captain, and was nominated for 2023-24 All-WCHA Third Team. She's a two way defender who will be taking on big responsibility for Germany as she has in the past.
China
Roster
Tumblr media
(Text Version available here)
2023 result: Promotion from Division I
2024 goal: Make quarterfinals and avoid relegation
Roster changes: Oh boy. So, like, a lot of people, and here is why: up until this tournament, China allowed dual citizens not born in China to play for them. This includes some players you may know from PWHL/NCAA like Leah Lum, Hannah Miller, Rachel Llanes, and Tia Chan. Going into this tournament, they changed the rules and those players will not be eligible, so it is a significant roster shakeup.
Three player to watch; This team is very young. Yifan Wang is 16 years old, and in her international debut scored 10 goals in 5 games in the WJC-D2A U18. This is obviously a gigantic step up in competition and very hard for a 16 year old to be playing against adults on the highest level stage of women's hockey, so I don't imagine she'll get a TON of ice time, but she is worth looking out for. Xin Fang is the veteran and star of this roster, who had 2 goal and 2 assists in the teams D1A tournament that earned them their promotion. 17 year old Dartmouth commit Grace Zhan is who I expect to be their starting goaltender. Born in Beijing, she spent the past year playing Minnesota High School Hockey and put up top numbers in a league that sees a lot of NCAA recruits.
Denmark
Roster
Tumblr media
(Text version here)
2023 Results: Promotion from Division I
2024 hope: Make Quarterfinals and avoid relegation
Roster changes: Long time national team star and centerpiece of the team Josefine Jakobsen will no longer play for Denmark, though she will continue her club career.) Otherwise, despite some depth changes, it is mostly the same lineup.
Three players to watch: Frederikke Foss had a great year at Shattuck St Mary's u19 program and has committed to UMaine, and may be able to spark some offense Denmark will desperately need without Jakobsen. Silke Lave Glud will also be expected to carry the offense after her stellar year in the Tier 2 league in Sweden, and lead the way for younger players as one of the most experienced members of the team. Goaltender Emma-Sofie Nordström's performance at the D1A worlds was a big reason for their promotion, and she is coming off a great sophmore year at st. lawrence university where she had a .931 save percentage in 36 games and 7 shutouts. If Denmark wants to stay in the top division, she will need to steal a game for them.

Thank you for tagging me @notyaslol 💓🫶
get to know you better game! answer the questions and tag 9 people you want to get to know better
Last song I listened to:
btw it’s a great song for working out, at least for me it got the right vibes xd
Currently watching:
• Drive to Survive (with my dad, it’s like our weekend routine to make popcorn and watch all the drama xd… plus I'm actually curious about the next season coming out soon, I'm tempted to place bets about what situations they're going to exaggerate and who's gonna hate who 😽)
• Break Point (it’a literally Drive to Survive, but about tennis lol 😭 I randomly found out about this when I was trying to learn basics about tennis for a requested social media au with Oscar and a tennis player and it's actually pretty interesting xd It's probably very dramatic and biased, because it’s another Netflix “documentary”, but hey... at least I know what's a Grand Slam now, so that's a step forward xd also I had no idea that tennis is such a brutal sport, like respect to all the players 🫣)
• The Traitors (reality show that’s mix of Survivor and Big Brother, it’s kinda interesting… I'm currently watching the 1st season of the USA version and it seems like the Traitors are going to win and outsmart the Faithfulls… honestly, I'm on their side xd)
• Love Island Česko & Slovensko (I just realized I'm literally only watching reality shows and Netflix dramas about sport... oh well 😭 anyway, I’m finishing the 2nd season of Love Island version from Czech Republic and Slovakia, it's the only season out of the current three I didn't see yet. I actually tried the UK and USA versions of LI, but idk, it feels kinda fake to me, probably because the people there are too dramatic and I can't imagine acting like that in real life xd So the “home version” is better for me 🫶)
Currently obsessed with:
• formula 1... obviously 🏎🏎
• that video of Taylor Swift and Travis partying 😩💞
• formula 1 again, but specifically all the drama going around rn xd
• the fact that next season of Czech & Slovak Survivor comes out in like two weeks and I hope they won't screw it up 🥥🌴
Tagging: @mariahcarreyyy @thef1diary @scuderiaswift @scuderiahoney @shootingstar-scuderia @forzalando @uglyducklingofthe2000s @maplesyrupsainz @theemporium and anyone else who wants to do this!

Let's recap where I am with the challenge! I'm counting countries retroactively, but (for now at least) I'm only counting novels I fully read (so no unfinished novels, poetry books, plays or comics count, which means the Czech Republic, Japan, Norway, Korea and Greece are still on the list).
So, countries already ticked off:
Hungary (lots)
UK (lots)
Ireland (Dracula, The Picture of Dorian Grey)
USA (lots)
Germany (Neverending Story, Lisa and Lottie/The Parent Trap, some more of these two authors)
Austria (Bambi and other assorted works of Felix Salten)
Russia (Master and Margarita, vol 1 of Night Watch, some more Required Reading)
France (lots)
Sweden (The 100-year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared)
Poland (Quo Vadis)
China (at this point lots)
New Zealand (The Locked Tomb)
Kenya (Wizard of the Crow)
Canada (A Sweet Sting of Salt)

Do you know what I like most about Czech cartoons? Breaking the gender stereotype that the USA has accustomed us to
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things like eyelashes on male characters, which did not appear in the US because eyelashes were assigned to female characters (Which can be seen in many old productions, because you have to distinguish that one mouse is a girl and the other is a boy, right?)
Emanuel breaks away from the stereotype that we are accustomed to in the USA (He is a butterfly, you have to see it, the production is called "O makové panence a motýlu Emanuelovi/Makowa Panienka")
Tumblr media
Here is a cartoon from the Polish People's Republic, where you can also see breaking away from the stereotype, Tola (Girl), you can classify her as a tomboy (But not like what you see in the USA, she is a nice character who won't murder you)
Bolek and Lolek also break away from the stereotype, they are not entirely masculine (They often show empathy and sometimes cry a lot)
The biggest minus of this cartoon is blackface and well, a lot of shit, unfortunately, I don't blame Poles from that period, but the USA, because shit like blackface came from that "Place"
Today, something like this would be called "Woke" and "Political Correct" because it does not fit the typical way of writing in the USA when it comes to the gender of characters
Unfortunately, Poland is not the only victim of the USA, many countries are struggling with the plague of conservative-rightists and the persistent forgetting of their culture in favor of "Adaptation"
Even though the USA does not colonize these countries, the influence of the media from the USA (which is more than from other countries) causes a lot of damage, because many people no longer know their culture and their mythology, because it is not talked about, because "It is not "attractive" to other countries (I see this kind of thinking in Polish productions that have significantly lost their quality, because they try to pretend to be American)
So yes, the US doesn't even have to be physically involved to erase culture, it's enough that many media from other countries consume US productions in larger quantities than they should
Compare the number of productions from other countries (Apart from Japan, because it is doing the best, the same with UK) that were successful to the number of those from the USA, from Australia I only think of "Bluey", and from Africa "Supa Strikas", these are individual examples, but they show a big problem with how the USA has overshadowed many productions from other countries
Apparently there is also Canada, although I see much fewer products from Canada than those from the USA (I do not mention it, however, because I do not know what it is like in other countries)
"The Secrets of the Wicker Bay" is a Polish production which, compared to today's Polish animations, was of a very high standard
Tumblr media
And still people will only talk about this shit:
Tumblr media
Yes, I don't like "The Treflik Family", because what's the point of being a stop-motion animation if it doesn't even reach the level of the previous production?
+ The villain is a fucking Latino
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look what year it came out, there was an excuse for productions from the Polish People's Republic, there's no fucking excuse here
Why is this series popular? Songs like from a musical (And not a good one, because it interrupts the action, and the songs are from a different "Time Zone", otherwise he won't comment on it, it just takes it out of rhythm)
Why is this series not known as the best from Poland?
Tumblr media
It's called "Fantasy Bear" (Miś Fantazy)
Tumblr media
Wait a second
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is that Monica the frog?
Tumblr media
Okay, just kidding, but yeah, you get the point
Just my rant about the USA and how Poland has fared in the animation industry

celebrating with CAPTAIN ZACH after a big win 🤭🤭
hearing the buzzer buzz after USA won 3-2 getting gold against czech, you and his sister scream excited then looking down at your boy as he looks up at you pointing to his heart
“I’m so proud of you Mr captain.” You squeal as he picks you up twirling you around
“thank you baby.” He leans down kissing you
“what are your plans, celebrating with the team or.” You ask rubbing your hands through his wet hair
“Probably celebrating with the team but i just want to celebrate with you.” he says truthfully
“Zach i don’t want you to be not apart of the celebration.” you say
“It’s ok babe,” He gives your nose a kiss, “More celebration when we get back home but now i get you after 2 weeks so dinner and movie at the hotel.”
“Ok captain.” You smirk

are you going to watch the world championships? if yes, who are you cheering for if you don't mind me asking - you seem like you are quite knowledgable about the tournament judging by that one OP's question about vrana
I am actually covering the tournament for a Czech media site as a part of my mandatory university internship (there you have the origin of me being so-called knowledgeable about it), so yes, I am going to spend my following days watching it - especially the Czech team as you could have guessed at this point. While they don't have Pastrnak and Krejci like they did last year around, therefore there are significantly lower expectations of them getting past the semifinals cause no one knows whether there will be a natural shooter on the team, who will take care of the goals, they still do have guys like Filip Chytil, Dominik Kubalik (those two are supposed to be the main goal scorers), or Karel Vejmelka in the net to watch if you are coming into the tournament as an NHL fan.
Naming the Tumblr popular guys - Germany has Moritz Seider (no Stützle, he injured himself last year around and so Ottawa is not letting him come this time), Sweden has Lucas Raymond, Finland has Mikko Rantanen, Kapanen Kasperi, or Kaapo Kakko, Canada has this year's (very likely) second draft pick Adam Fantilli or Detroit's Joe Veleno, USA has like half of the Penguins on the board (Jake Guentzel, Nick Bonino, Drew O'Connor, and Casey DeSmith) and then a ton of university players, Switzerland has Nino Niederreiter and with the Devils being out of the playoffs, there is a chance someone from the Hischier, Meier, Schmid line might join as well, Slovakia is also counting on Simon Nemec coming and helping them with their defense (which is honestly slightly atrocious, though still better than their goaltending situation needless to say), cause other than that they don't exactly have a great team this year (yes, you read that right, no Slafkovsky for the last year's draft girlies).

JGP Bangkok dance: the 1st JGP of the season! in Thailand! this ice dance field has the 2 top teams from jr worlds who didn't senior up -
Tumblr media
Leah Neset/Artem Markelov 🇺🇸USA (17/20 yo) they were 5th at Worlds in March, have won 2 events this season already. their RD is Scorpions and Joan Jett, and their FD to a Sarah Brightman song based on a classical piece by Albinoni. they're polished, their demeanor is professional, a mature team for juniors. their coach is so involved, you might see her jumping and dancing at the boards when they skate. they're aiming for gold at Jr Worlds this season
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Celina Fradji/Jean-Hans Fourneaux 🇫🇷FRA (18/19 yo) they were 6th at both Jr Worlds and the JGPF last season. they're skating the same Scorpions song as Neset/Markelov in their RD, but with AC/DC, and they have a tango FD. this is their 8th season together, and the longevity shows in their sense of ease and equality with each other. they have a bit of a history of being stronger in the RD than the FD at big events- but we'll see what happens this season. they're looking to return to the JGPF and to medal at jr worlds
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Layla Veillon/Alexander Brandys 🇨🇦CAN (17/18 yo) 5th at 🇨🇦Nats in january, could make the Jr Worlds team this season. they have a Run-DMC RD and a Chaplin FD. they've competed twice this summer, their FD is sweet and has the curve lift from Seasons, and the RD is fun and in process: the rocker foxtrot is the junior RD pattern, and in the 2nd half, the teams switch sides - what traditionally were the woman's steps are skated by the man and vice versa - L/A missed all the key points in this section in both their comps, so i'm sure they’ve been working on that. many teams are having similar issues with this 2nd half of the pattern (2RF). it feels like IAM/O have a 3 yr plan for their jr career - last season was time to learn the big stage, give them programs in their wheelhouse which were nevertheless more mature than what they had before. this season started with difficult balance lifts in both programs (the original curve lift in their RD was like a Madi and Keiffer Hubbell lift that required a lot of strength from both), dance styles and storytelling that ask a lot of them, encouraging them, especially Alex, to project more, and they are☺️
youtube
Yufei Lin/Zijian Gao CHN (18/19 yo) they were on the JGP circuit in 2019, so this is their 5th junior season? they have programs by Romain and Pascal Denis including this Sleeping Beauty FD ⬆️ - i love a good classical program, and this one is lovely- they visited IAM recently. they're promising, and it will be interesting to watch their progression. they seem to be following in Wang/Liu’s footsteps working both in China and with IAM
youtube
Jinny Kim/Namu Lee 🇰🇷KOR (15/16 yo) South Korea has competitions to decide who they send to the JGP, so here's their RD- they train with Wing/Lowe in Vancouver, and they're young, but i love when you watch a team and their skating basics look this strong- they need experience together, but there's a lot to like - they're both performers, he especially is giving 100%
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Natalie Blaasova/Filip Blaas 🇨🇿CZE (15/18 yo) another sibling team from the Czech Republic, though from a different camp than the Mrazeks and Taschlers. their RD is Tina Turner and "It's Raining Men,” and their FD is Wakanda Forever
Alexia Kruk/Jan Eisenhaber 🇩🇪GER (16/18 yo) they did a variation of the goose last season in their FD ⬆️ this season, they're doing a Michael Jackson RD and a tango/flamenco FD
any team with a JGP assignment is one of the best in their whole country - good luck to them all 💙💙💙

In the 3rd Junior Grand Prix 2018 JGP Lithuania short circuit, the triple lutz + triple toe loop combination was judged under, and the triple flip showed an overall uneasy appearance, such as stepping out. Fortunately, he showed strong performance in the non-jumping element [8] and scored 61.63 points. In the free race, he neatly succeeded in the triple lutz + trip길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon)le toe loop combination, which was judged under in the short, and earned a high bonus of 2.11 points, and perfectly succeeded in all six subsequent jump tasks. The strong non-jumping element also showed a good performance, receiving a high score of 130.26 points in the free and raising the overall ranking to second place with a total of 191.89 points [9], showing off its potential to win the silver medal following Alexandra Trusova. The free and total points recorded this time are길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon) the highest among all Korean female single players who have appeared on the junior stage, and are the third highest free and total points in Korean female singles after Kim Yuna (150.06 points) and Choi Da-bin (131.49 points). In the meantime, she has been evaluated as being far behind Yoo Young and Lim Eun-soo in terms of her performance and topicality, but this tournament provided an opportunity to be reevaluated by changing various records.
She competed in her first senior event of the season to secure skill points for the 2019 Four Continents Championships. She competed at the 2018 CS U.S. Championships in Salt Lake City, USA from September 12-16. At the International Classic길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon), she won the bronze medal behind Satoko Miyahara and Eunsoo Lim.At the 5th Junior Grand Prix 2018 JGP Czech Republic, she broke her personal best with a score of 69.45 in a clean shot in a series of mistakes. In the free, she also performed without any major errors and received 126.89 points with a one point deduction from the time limit as the music ended midway through the final spin. Although scoring slightly lower than her third competition, she again broke her personal best with an overall score of 196.34. She then won anothe길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon)r silver medal following her last 3rd event, behind Alyona Kostornaya. As a result, she became the first Korean female athlete to win medals in two Junior Grand Prix events in a row following Kim Yu-na and Choi Da-bin. has become She is also the only non-Russian player to qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Final Women's Singles this season.[10]
In her first appearance, at the 2018-19 Junior Grand Prix Final Short, she received a score of 62.51 when she landed on her hand while being judged under in the linking jump of the triple lutz + triple toe loop combination. In the free, she fell on 길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon)her triple flip and was under judged on her other two jumps, giving her a score of 115.40. She finished sixth in the final with a total score of 177.91. Since all of the contestants in the women's singles were Russian except for herself, she appeared at the gala with winner Alyona Kostornaya.
In the short game of the 2018 President's Cup Ranking Competition, she was clean but lost a little in the non-jumping element, scoring 64.58 to finish second. She performed rather poorly in the free the following day, where she scored only 116.86 points to place fifth, but with a total of 181.44길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon) points, she won the bronze medal behind Lim Eun-soo and You Young. This earned her a spot at the Four Continents Championships.
She missed out on the 2019 World Championships and 2019 Junior World Championships, finishing 5th in the final standings due to several mistakes in the free at the 2019 All-Around Championships.
At the 2019 Four Continents Championships short, she was judged by attention on her triple flip, and she only scored 64.42 points, but in the triple lutz + triple toe loop combination, she received first place in additional points among all players who길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon) competed. In the free, she failed to connect the follow-up jump in her scheduled combination of double axel + triple toe loop and faltered slightly on the steps, but overall impressed her composition points, receiving a total of 123.51 points. She finished the season with a final score of 187.93 in 8th place.
After her fifth tournament at the Junior Grand Prix, she ended her season with treatment for a sore heel that had deformed her bone due to her boot change. Although she regretted not being able to continue participating in the World Championships, she achieved the highest score in short, free, and total points for Korean junior players, as well as entering the first junior women's Grand Prix final after Kim Yuna, and placing in the top 24 of the season's best ranking. It was also a season to receive.
Appeared at the ice show held from June 6th to June 8th. Prior to the Grand Prix series, they participated in the 2019 CS Lombardia Trophy and the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, where they placed 4th and 2nd, respectively. After this tournament, coaches were changed to Shin Hye-sook & Lee Eun-hee.
She competed in the 2020 Youth Olympic Trials and made up a layback spin for the first time in a long time in the short, but misunderstood the double Axel sequence in the free and placed third, thus failing to qualify for the Youth Olympics.
She made her senior Grand Prix debut by participating in Skate Canada 2019. She finished in 8th place with a score of 61.23, placing attention on the triple lutz, under judgement on the single triple loop, level 2 on the step, and level 길복순 다시 보기 무료보기:(Kill Boksoon)3 on the flying camel spin and sit spin. In the free, she handled her first 3-3 combination jump alone, and in the triple flip, she was downgraded and fell down. Overall, she performed poorly, earning 115.70 points and finishing 7th in the final. In a situation where she was waiting for an additional assignment with Yoo-young, she herself did not perform well, so she virtually finished her Grand Prix competition with her debut.
In the short of the 2019 President’s Cup Ranking Competition, he received 68.61 points with equal bonuses in jumps and spins, except for level 2 in step. In the free, she got a score of 140.06, clean all the jumps she performed, and took her first win in the President's Cup Ranking Competition with a total score of 208.67. She has placed second and third in this event before, but this is the first time she has won. Fans were worried and disappointed due to the lack of additional assignments in the Grand Prix series this season, but they returned to the ranking competition with a solid appearance and won the championship, securing the right to participate in the 2020 Four Continents Championships.

Women’s Hockey News and Transactions 7/1-7/30
I hope everyone is having a great summer! This will cover major news and transactions in women’s pro/proam hockey around the world, though I may miss some things due to language barrier, so feel free to add! I also try to add a little more context to overseas leagues transactions as I know that may be unfamiliar/news less readily available to some, so the PWHL ones are just lists. A few more minor may be omitted for brevity (ie a player going from a franchises u18 team to the major team)
PWHL (USA/Canada)
Retiring: Amanda Leveille
PWHL Boston has signed: Daniela Pejšová (drafted, luleå) for three years, Emma Greco (PWHL Minnesota) for one year, Hannah Bilka (drafted) for three years, and Sydney Bard (drafted) for three years
PWHL New York has signed: Noora Tulus (drafted, Luleå) for two years, Maja Nylén Persson (drafted, Brynäs) for three years,
PWHL Ottawa has signed: Kateřina Mrázová (extension) for two more years, Gwyneth Phillips (drafted) for two years
PWHL Toronto has signed; Carly Jackson (extension) for one year
PWHL Montreal has signed: Jennifer Gardiner (drafted) for two years, Catherine Dubois (extended) for one year, Claire dalton (extended) for one year,
PWHL Minnesota has no new signings to report since 7/1
Lauren Williams named as a PWHL New York assistant coach after several years working behind the bench with Mount Royal University and Stonehill college
Minnesota has fired several bench coaches and are looking into allegation of misconduct from coach Ken Klee
SDHL (Sweden)
Malia Schneider (who played for both Brynäs and PWHL Ottawa last year) joins SDE HF. Joining her is American forward Liliane Perrault, who was briefly with Froluna last year and scored at a point per game clip
Joining a strong SDE defense core is veteran Dominique Kremer, returning to the SDHL after playing for PWHL Minnesota and serving as captain to the Buffalo Beauts
HV71 adds Canadian Forward Kennedy Bobyck from Minnesota State University and Canadian defender Teghan Inglis, who captained Merrimack last year
Japanese national team forward Akane Shiga (PWHL Ottawa) joins Luleå
Finnish national team forward Kiira Yrjänen joins Leksands IF after playing for HV71 last season. Also joining her is one of USports top scorers last year, Canadian forward Lillian George
American forward Kaitlyn O’Donohoe joins Brynäs after a strong five years at Colgate
Skellefteå extends SDHL veteran Ronja Mogren. They also sign American forward Mikayla Lantto who graduated from LIU this last season.
Lisa Östman and Ellen Laurence have both left Djurgården
Djugården also added four players. Three are young Swedes who played for AIK last year: Alva Hellqvist, Tuva Kärrhage, and Isabelle Leijonhielm. Leijonhielm is the biggest name, having some success with the u18 team for Sweden last year. The other added player is 19 year old Czech national team player Tereza Pistekova who played in HPK in Finland last year and had over a point per game pace.
Alexander Hanning returns to Linköping as an assistant coach on a two year deal, having been successful with head coach Thomas Pettersen in the past
Shay Maloney, drafted by PWHL Boston, is back with Leksands IF but with a clause that she can leave to play in PWHL Boston if she earns a spot
Naisten Liiga (Finland)
Retiring: Kiekko Espoo forward Zaida Holmström, who was the long time captain of Mestis team JYP for 6 years. 19 year old Bianca Kanerva, who played for both the Finnish u18 team and Kiekko Espoo last year, has also retired to focus more on her education
Japanese defender Kokoro Ota joins KalPa, She previously played for the Japanese U18 team and for the Seibu Princess Rabbits
KalPa brings back starting goaltender Aino Laitinen and signs Salla Sivula who was one of the main goalies last year for Ilves
Oona Havana has left Kärpät to join the university of Vermont. She was a point per game in 2023 in Naisten Liiga at 17 years old and made the senior national team, but did not play last year due to injury
Written in Finnish, but i highly recommend this article about Viivi Iso-Kouvola talking about Naisten Liiga's current problem and Finnish women's hockey and the financial situation. Currently, most teams are still pay to play, with only HIFK and HPK as exceptions, leaving players to rely on family and sponsorship. As such, the majority of players do not have long term plans to stay in the league and are interested in playing in other leagues instead.
SWHL/PostFinance Women League (Switzerland)
A very active month for ZSC Lions Frauen! Their many addition include former Czech national team captain Alena Polenská (Mills), who played in Russia last year, Josefine Holmgren, a Swedish defender who played in the SDHL for a long time before joining HC Ambrì-Piotta Girls last year and becoming one of their top producers, and Sonja Inkamp, a fast riser in the Swiss leagues who had two goals for the U18 team in the u18 women's worlds last year
Rosalie Bégin-Cyr has joined Neuchâtel Hockey Academy Dames after six strong years in Usports where she won a championship with Concordia University
Some expected but still nice to see confirmed returns, from top 20 goalscorers in the league last seaso: - Sinja Leemann, Alina Marti, Sandy Heim and Lisa Rüedi for ZSC Lions Frauen -Maija Otamo, Emma Ingold, Saskia Maurer, Lara Christen, and Estelle Duvin for SC Bern Frauen -Jenna Kaila, Romy Eggimann for HC Ambrì-Piotta Girls -Cassandra Rensch for HC Fribourg-Gottéron Ladies
EWHL (Central/Eastern Europe + Others)
Speaking of teams that did a lot, MAC Budapest did a ton! This includes: Netherlands national team defender Jet Milders, 19 year old Hungarian goaltender Bianka Bogati who was on the national team but has not appeared in a game yet, university of st thomas graduate and defender Isabel Lippai, Sacred Heart Graduate and American forward Sophie Lupone
SKN Sabres St.Pölten signs Slovenian forward Gaja Pezdir, who impressed at the D1B Worlds and played for Lakers Kärnten last year. They also add Hungarian natioanl team forward Kinga Jókai Szilágyi who played for Skellefteå AIK in Sweden's second tier league and helped them earn SDHL promotion
EV Bozen Eagles sign Kristin Della Rovere from PWHL Ottawa and Italian national team forward Sara Kaneppele, who had played with them previously but spent the past two years in Germany
EC Graz Huskies sign Ukranian national team forward Daria Tsymyrenko, who played a big role on a stacked HC Ambrì-Piotta Girls team last year, and 16 year old Czech defender Hana Panešová who made her international debut with the Czech U18 team last year at worlds and played in both boys and womens leagues in Czechia last year

Deutsche Telekom Stock Review
Deutsche Telekom is a Germany-based company that provides integrated telecommunication services. It operates through five segments: Germany, United States, Europe, Systems Solutions, and Group Development. The Germany segment provides fixed-network and mobile telecommunications services to consumers and business customers. The United States segment provides telecommunications services in the United States market; and the Europe segment offers fixed-network and mobile operations of the national companies in Greece, Romania, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, and Austria.
IPO
A major turning point in the world of telecommunications took place in November 1996, when Deutsche Telekom went public. It was the largest IPO in history and the capstone of years of intense effort by Goldman Sachs to establish a presence in the German market.
The company's offering marked a significant step in the development of an Anglo-Saxon shareholder culture. It was also the first telecommunications company to be listed on the Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges, as well as the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
It was the largest ever IPO and it was oversubscribed five times. Shares traded at nearly 20 percent above the issue price on their first day of trading.
In addition to its traditional services in Germany, the company provides telecommunications services throughout the rest of Europe and the United States. Its businesses include fixed network and broadband, mobile telephony, and information technology services.
Today, the company is one of the world's leading telecommunications companies with operations in more than 50 countries and a broad range of products and services. It has a worldwide network of around 248 million wireless and 26 million wireline customers.
The company has been in the forefront of telecommunications innovation, investing extensively in digital technologies to develop innovative new products and services for its customers. Examples include the Internet of Things, 5G technology, video conferencing, and artificial intelligence.
For a company like Deutsche Telekom, it is important to have a diverse product portfolio that appeals to different kinds of users. The company is also known for acquiring and selling companies to generate growth and streamline operations.
Despite its success, the company has faced several challenges in the past few years. It has lost customers to larger rivals, including AT&T and Verizon Communications Inc VZ.N, and it has also experienced a drop in revenue and profits.
However, the company's management has made efforts to turn its fortunes around, launching new business models and making strategic acquisitions. It is a leader in the telecommunications industry and it continues to seek ways to grow its business and create value for shareholders.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Deutsche Telekom is a diversified telecommunications company with a strong position in Europe and a booming US business. It operates in a number of different sectors, such as payments and commercial real estate tech.
In the US, the company is primarily focused on mobile services. Its subsidiary T-Mobile USA has an excellent record of growth and is a significant competitor to AT&T and Verizon. In addition, it owns Sprint (NYSE:S), which is set to become a major player in the U.S. telecom industry once the merger is complete in 2019.
The company has not made many major acquisitions, but it has done a few small ones over time. These smaller deals, such as the purchase of a Romanian carrier, the sale of T-Mobile Netherlands and its acquisition of Austria’s Telecom Austria, have improved its market position and scale.
Its US telco operations, T-Mobile USA and T-Mobile International, have been growing at very strong rates. These companies have a large customer base and are expected to continue expanding.
T-Mobile US is the second largest wireless service provider in the United States with a customer base of 120 million, behind Verizon. It has a very competitive pricing model and a great reputation in the industry.
However, the stock has not performed well in recent months. This is largely due to the fact that many investors are not aware of the fact that the German government owns 57 percent of the company. It has been criticized by a few legislators who think that the government should reduce its holding before the deal can be completed.
As a result, the stock has been down with other European stocks. If the Euro continues to weaken, this would likely help the stock and also its U.S. assets, which have been irrationally punished by European investors because they are included in a European stock.
To counter this, the company has been increasing its dividend and repurchasing some of its own shares, which are now trading at about a 50% discount to their value. These dividend increases and the repurchases should allow for further growth.
Shareholders
One of the largest shareholders in deutsche telekom stock is the German government and its agency, Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau (KfW). KfW owns 17.3 percent of the company's shares. It has been buying more shares and reducing its stake in a series of transactions.
Another large shareholder is the United States investment group Blackstone. It purchased 4.5 percent of deutsche telekom stock for $3.3 billion. It is hoping that the purchase will help the company achieve its long-term financial goals and boost shareholder value, according to the company's announcement.
It also plans to use the money to fund future dividend increases. The dividends are a key part of the company's plan to reinvest in new technologies and networks.
The company also recently rolled out an overhaul of its corporate strategy to focus on digitalization and adapting its business models to the changing needs of customers. The changes will make it a software company that sells telecommunication services, rather than just a hardware manufacturer.
This is a big shift from the days when telecommunications networks were made up of monolithic blocks of network elements. Today, companies like DT are disaggregating their technology and moving it into the cloud. This allows them to connect with third-party networks and use their infrastructure to provide telecommunications services.
In the case of telecommunications, this involves billing-software and other backend systems. These backend systems are responsible for collecting and analyzing customer data to make pricing decisions.
If these systems are not able to comply with GDPR, will they be subjected to enforcement action or sanctions by U.S., EU, or German authorities? If not, will they be the target of new private actions for fraud and/or breach of contract?
To protect its data, deutsche telekom stock has "binding corporate rules" that it has promised to abide by. These rules are "binding" on all of the company's subsidiaries and any of its other companies that can be required to comply with them or have already adopted them on a voluntary basis.
But what if deutsche telekom stock's subsidiary T-Mobile USA doesn't subscribe to these "binding" corporate privacy rules? Does it still have to comply with the "binding" rules, or is there something in the corporate law that prevents it from doing so?
Dividends
One of the coolest perks of being a shareholder of this German company is the opportunity to participate in its annual dividend payout. The company pays out an impressively large sum each year, and it has a long and distinguished history of making its shareholders happy. Despite its size, the company manages to stay on top of its game thanks to some innovative corporate strategies and a healthy dose of luck. In a nutshell, there's a reason why this stock has been a KfW staple for so long. The company is also one of the few surviving German telecoms. If you're on the hunt for a good value telecommunications stock, deutsche telekom should be at the top of your list. You'll be rewarded with top-notch service and competitive paycheques, not to mention a hefty chunk of the local economy.
After all, it's not every day that you get a free piece of the country's largest phone company, let alone one of the most innovative and coveted German telecommunications companies in the business.

Global Anti-Cultism: Czech Republic: A New Waco?
Tumblr media
In my previous article, I explored how global anti-cultists use apostates to destroy people and entire organizations.
You can read more about this in my article at the following link:
Today, I want to share shocking information that makes me
think that history is repeating itself right before our eyes.
Remember Waco in 1993? A group of peaceful people, US citizens, were destroyed because of lies spread by anti-cultists. Global anti-cultists instilled in the FBI, the ATF, judges, and millions of US citizens that the followers of the "Branch Davidians" religious movement had fallen under the harmful influence of their leader David Koresh, that they were in a "dangerous cult", and that they were abusing their children. Then they added misinformation that the "Davidians" wanted to commit mass suicide.
The result: 51 days of siege, assault, poisonous gas, killings, fire, and 82 deaths, including 23 children.
This is not just a tragedy, it's a monstrous crime!
And now, the anti-cultists are back in action. But this time, their target is the AllatRa movement in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They are using the same methods: dehumanization, labeling them as a "cult", "sect", spreading lies in the media, misinforming the public that AllatRa volunteers want to commit mass suicide.
This is a direct repetition of Waco!
But what really intrigued me:
Two points:
both in the case of Waco and the case of AllatRa, global anti-cultists use apostates and through paid media inflate the story beyond recognition, trumpeting that this organization is a real threat.
After all, in the story of Waco, global anti-cultists instilled in the government, judges, and even the FBI and ATF misinformation that the "Davidians" wanted to overthrow the government in the USA…
I am sure that global anti-cultists will say the same misinformation about AllatRa.
Let's take a closer look at the portraits of the apostates, behind one of whom there are already almost a hundred corpses (Waco), and behind the other there is only misinformation so far, and I am sure the dock is waiting for him.
So, IN BOTH CASES, BOTH IN WACO AND IN THE CASE OF ALLATRA - BOTH APOSTATES ARE BLIND!
Do you think this is a coincidence?
A little about the apostate of the "Branch Davidians in Waco":
QUOTE:
“an apostate named Marc Breault, who claimed to be Koresh’s right-hand man. The difference and the key aspect of this example is that Marc Breault was blind before he became a follower of the Branch Davidians and remained blind after his apostasy. Despite this, he was able to create numerous false testimonies about the Davidians in collaboration with anti-cult figures and their agents in the media. Notably, some of the events and facts mentioned in these testimonies could only be known and described by a sighted person.”
Source: https://actfiles.org/the-role-of-apostates-in-anti-cult-organizations-creating-the-fake-victim/
Tumblr media
(Pictured: Marc Breault”)
Tumblr media
(Image: Book cover of “Inside the Cult” written by apostate Marc Breault)
QUOTE:
“Marc Breault played a key role in discrediting the Branch Davidians. He left the community in 1989 after a conflict with its leader, David Koresh. It’s important to note that Marc Breault had studied theology at university, which undoubtedly influenced his views and likely facilitated his connections with anti-cult activists. After leaving the Branch Davidians, he published a book titled “Inside the Cult,”
indicative of anti-cult rhetoric and methods aimed at dehumanizing and discrediting this religious group. He positioned himself as a victim of the cult and a fighter for the good of others. Breault became a key informant for the U.S. government, the ATF, the FBI, and Congress, receiving daily phone calls.”
Now, see how the scheme of global anti-cultists is analyzed:
“Journalist Terry Kliewer wrote that throughout the operation, he felt like an instrument of the FBI 6, but he did not realize that the FBI itself was an instrument of anti-cultists, just as journalists and government representatives were tools of anti-cult agents.”
Tumblr media
(Image: Screenshot taken from James T. Richardson’s report “Manufacturing Consent about Koresh: A Structural Analysis of the Role of Media in the Waco Tragedy”)
Tumblr media
(Image: Screenshot taken from James T. Richardson’s report “Manufacturing Consent about Koresh: A Structural Analysis of the Role of Media in the Waco Tragedy”)
Imagine the scale of the work of global anti-cultists: how many people fall under their coding.
And also pay attention that it is only one apostate. And how much terrible criminal have anti-cultists done with the help of his disinformation...
Could this terrible tragedy in Waco have been prevented?
YES!!!!!
HOW?????
On July 14, 2024, the documentary “The IMPACT” was released, thoroughly exposing the true causes of numerous tragedies, bloodshed, and loss of life, with anti-cult movements revealed as the true culprits. This film unveiled the full depth of the Waco tragedy and the methods of manipulation and informational influence used by anti-cult organizations.
“In 1993, FBI and ATF agents lacked understanding of the true nature of anti-cult movements, which hid behind a noble facade of caring for children, people, and American citizens. Additionally, the propaganda about the “cult victims” did its job of successfully demonizing a peaceful group of people who had not broken any laws. If, at that time, FBI and ATF agents, along with government officials, had watched the documentary “The IMPACT,” the tragedy would not have occurred. No one would have gone to war against American citizens, elderly women, mothers and children, including infants. No one would have become a manipulated tool in the hands of anti-cult Nazis, who considered themselves gods and rulers of human destinies.”
Let's Talk About the Blind Apostate of AllatRa
Now let's return to the situation with the false victim - the AllatRa apostate. HE IS BLIND TOO! It seems that, inspired by Waco, he and his mother decided to initiate the murder of hundreds of people in the Czech Republic...
Why do apostates do this? Fear and hatred are their favorite tools. They want people to believe their misinformation, they want the glory of being killers! Now, this blind man and his mother are spreading blatant lies about the AllatRa movement, portraying the organization's volunteers as extremely dangerous, convincing the public that all AllatRans want to commit mass suicide... These methods are already known and understood - they are used to justify their inhumane methods.
I am confident that this time the blind apostate and anti-cultists will not succeed! "The IMPACT" has already been released, the antidote to this plague is already in this film, so all anti-cultists will be brought to justice and will go in orderly lines to the tribunal!
Finally, all people will breathe a sigh of relief, and this plague of terrorism and genocide will NEVER be repeated!
Support the article with a like, a repost, a comment, and applause!
