I absolutely love that they got a real life captain of a crabbing vessel to voice Crabby. I grew up watching Deadliest Catch so that was a pretty cool thing they did there.

Also, I never noticed just how gutsy Crabby is like???? He’s got attitude!!!

Finn pays him to take him out to the middle of the pacific in the middle of the night and bro is like bet!

Then he goes all they way out there and this HUUUUGE fragging warship shows up to tell him to piss off and Crabby is like make me, bitch!

He literally only backs off when he gets a projectile aimed at his head.

Then he’s like “o-kay, I’m not getting paid enough for this,” and backs off. But like before that, he was 100% down to square off against a ship 50 times bigger than him. What a legend.

Umbrella Academy Season 4 got me so upset I started watching the Deadliest Catch to turn off my brain.

So I was lying on my back on campus and it dawned on me, IT WAS ALASKA!!

Okay so remember I had been thinking about the last time Finn would see Leland alive and it may have been the coast of California or maybe even Japan. WRONG!! I have proof it was Alaska!!

So the ship that Finn takes to get to the oil rigs is a crabbing vessel called the Northwestern. It is a real life ship that's in a show called Deadliest Catch. The ships dock in Alaska!! I'll need to do more research on it but this is substantial evidence. A direct link to something I can research.

But knowing that. It opens up so much. They last saw each other in Alaska. What a beautiful setting. And what desperation Finn must've felt, asking a Crabbing vessel to take him out to the middle of no where in the middle of the night to try and save Leland's life.

Damn.
