new confessions blog

hello everyone. i know, i know, you’re probably thinking “oh, not again!”

i myself have not forgotten all the drama and problems that happened last year due to one of these confession blogs. however, in my personal view the idea of having a space for members of the amv community to share their opinions even anonymously - which doesn’t equal only shit talking, spilling tea and being bitchy - was not entirely bad. this is why i decided to try and do something similar, but hopefully without all the negativity that surrounded the previous blog(s). so beware this is not a platform created with the purpose of fueling hate.

here you can share your thoughts about a studio, an editor, a mep and whatever you can think of in regards to the community, while keeping your identity known or anonymously. all kinds of opinions are welcome, both compliments and critiques, which means negative opinions are valid as long as you’re not being disrespectful and throwing insults left and right. i retain the right to not publish any given post if i feel like it violates this condition. 

if you’d like, you can also share your yt username or a link to a video and ask for some feedback.* i don’t want to sound entitled or anything, but i like going over other people’s work and help them improve if i can. even if nowadays i’m not what you would call an active editor, i have experience with both Sony Vegas and After Effects, with the former more than the latter.

sometimes there will be daily topics, to keep the conversation more active, which will be announced by a post. example: “what was your favorite mep of 2018?” and such. confessions related to the topic will be posted under the #dailytopic tag.

*critiques can also be done about someone else’s channel if you send their username.

AS FOR HOW TO SUBMIT A CONFESSION:

click on the “confess” button that can be found on the sidebar on the blog’s homepage, type in your text and toggle “ask anonymously” in case you don’t want your identity to be known.

in case you have screenshots or other kinds of files to go along with your confession, use the “submit” button. mind that you won’t be able to do it anonymously though.

i will add more rules if anything else comes to mind, for now i sincerely hope this blog will not be seen negatively from the get go. i have the best intentions, and even if the precedents were not a success i believe some people could still like the idea, given that everything is going to be handled with care. if at any point the situation goes out of hand, i will delete the blog myself.
