The most absurd thing about all this bullshit is that all my data is going towards selling me things I don't want or I can't buy. Tech companies have built the world's most sophisticated and complex surveillance system, effectively trapping billions of people into a panopticon and consuming wasteful amounts of resources, technology and human work and talent, all just to sell ads. It's incredibly absurd.
#cosas mias#well this isn't entirely true they don't sell just ads#they also sell aggregated data to companies for marketing campaigns#and of course collaborate with government surveillance and the military industrial complex#but at the end of it the absurdity remains#you're gathering more data that I even knew I had just to sell me ads

I think the funny thing is that you could never ever in a million years finish my story with AI in a way that makes sense or is satisfying. You can't do it. It can emulate the wording I use, at most. But this story is too human and too advanced for a machine that regurgitates half-digested data slop and cannot meaningfully synthesize media to understand. The love and soul would be utterly lost.
It's also too advanced for someone using AI to understand its themes to give it a prompt close enough to what I'm going for anyway. Choosing to use AI means you're unimaginative and someone who doesn't understand values and themes in creative works in the first place.
#you just won't get the vibe you'll fail miserably#AI can't even meaningfully help me out with a resumee or cover letter like it's truly so bad at what it supposedly does#also the themes? the symbolism? the twists and turns? AI would destroy the hell out of it#i would be so insulted if someone used what is essentially a glorified data aggregator to try to get an ending or continuation#shut up and appreciate my divine literary visions as the universe intended#asterisms#sky sez

what is the reasoning behind the multiple posts I've seen the past few days telling cis men (and any other people w/o periods) to download period tracker apps to fuck with their data? I feel like I'm missing something here. like the danger of period tracking apps (afaik) is the app recording if your period was late in a way that could indicate a pregnancy. if you live somewhere where abortion is illegal and your period tracker app's data can be accessed by law enforcement, they could use that data as evidence that you terminated your pregnancy illegally. other people poisoning the wider pool of data would have no affect on your data on an individual level or what law enforcement might try to infer based on changes to your specific cycle. I'm not sure I understand what the goal is here.
#like do they use the aggregate data for some nefarious purpose i can't fathom or#like this is a genuine question i assume I'm missing context here#i don't use tracker apps (i live freely and dangerously) and am not very threatened by changes to the legal status of abortion#like obviously it's bad + horrifying and abortion should be legal but like it's not something currently on my radar of worries is all i mean#reilly.txt

i had a conversation with my friend abt being crazy after having a baby earlier and then i talk to this guy and he tells me about how his friend was telling him about his wife who’s bipolar is worse bc she’s pregnant. waow synchronicity.
#telling myself i’m being delusional and it’s not a plant that would take so much fiddling.#and like at least if i keep the awareness that other people don’t understand it’s fine right?#like i just act normal and usual.#and like me saying this doesn’t matter bc they already know i think it.#in like a general way. data aggregation of test subjects done by an ai.

00Continued talk on breasts00 :: Cosmo Martha Walsh
Various collected data over summer ‘23
~ this summer, my area xxperienced heavy plasmatic thunder/lightning storms with insane winds causing tornado like damage within a matter of minutes. During one of these storms, I was caught driving in my car and was downloaded with information and moved to listen to Marsha Walsh, the voluptuous heavy set Queen whose voice is as electrifying as the storm I was in.
From that I gathered that some women are born full of adipose because it grants them the blubber (like a whale) to withstand large amounts of electricity. Hence, #HerVoice :: #Sonar
#ThisIsSHE

~ xxplained to a male that they are attracted (really fetishize) the big breast wman due to an unconscious desire 2 xxperience her bellowing Milky Way [[&& I had to correct him as he said the most divine woman is petite, no sir. Man’s categorization of #HerPower is now rendered impotent in this Age]]
~ had a discussion wit my sis on the big heartedness of a woman wit a voluptuous chest (no mistake, this does not mean that she is nice/friendly or even a good person. I’m speaking energetically, not moralistically). At the same time we was having an intersecting conversation on iron(red)-copper(blue~green spectrum) metabolism, and copper’s connection to Venus, the heart, the thyroid, & Libra(Saturn::Justice::Balance) ~ Taurus’s (🌑🌘🐂🥛🌌) natural opposition as Venusian ruled signs. Copper is highly conductive:: remember what I said about adipose, blubber and high amounts of electricity. Copper soothes this exchange between Iron and Oxygen (which is highly reactive), giving blood it’s charge. Prepare to see Methalyne Blue touted as a supplement within health and bio hacking spaces. Prepare to see more about the light environment and mitochondrial health.
~ another discussion wit @themadsorceressgrimoires, this time about spiranolactone which is administered to patients for several reasons. We discovered the presence of spira lactones exist in several plant species, and that the LACTONES are the tonifying (root word, tone) milk (root word, lac) that refines the unrelenting Spira (which stands for spiral).
~ Ms. Webster’s word play 🕸👩🏾💻🕷🤭😆
Lac (a red resin [[hidden within milk]]::Lacto- [ever flowing milk, which is why they also gave us the word lack::lock, as means to impose limits on this nourishment]::Galaxy::the Gal (girls) + XY (& boys) within Galaxy, playing together making up Her Milky Way:: Buddhists, the ones who mock the Tibet Mthr, called this Way the TAO (anagram) OAT; from this, see OAT MILK, AvenUS SatiVA, warm milk over frayed mylein sheath; lions mane mushroom; nourishing latexes, polysaccharides, and steroidal compounds)); OAT axis (ovary, adrenal, thyroid) within mammalian species):: DAO (decentralized autonomous organizations) coming with Web3 are named this way for a reason as A.I. is a replica of the O.I. (organic intelligence)::galactagoge [herbs that stimulate breast milk]::lactones::lactic acid produced by muscles::etc. etc.
~ my childhood bestie breast feeding her first daughter and the changes to her breasts. Her transformation and how oh so beautiful my god daughter is 🤍 TT loves u Cucamelon
~ the TT (which stands for auntie) also stands for Titties::as Auntie loves & fortifies her god babies, nieces & nephews from unseen places

How Does Data Aggregation Help in Travel And Hotel Business?

In the ever-evolving landscape of the travel and hotel industry, staying ahead of the competition requires not only exceptional service but also a deep understanding of customer preferences and market trends. One of the key tools that businesses are leveraging to gain this competitive edge is data aggregation. In this blog post, we'll explore how data aggregation is transforming the travel and hotel business, enhancing customer experiences, and optimizing operational efficiency.
1. Customer Personalization:
In an era where personalization is king, data aggregation plays a pivotal role in understanding customer behavior and preferences. By collecting and analyzing data from various touchpoints, such as online bookings, social media interactions, and feedback forms, travel and hotel businesses can create detailed customer profiles. This wealth of information enables businesses to tailor their services, recommending personalized travel itineraries, suggesting preferred room types, and even offering exclusive discounts based on individual preferences.
2. Market Intelligence:
Keeping an eye on market trends is crucial for the success of any travel and hotel business. Data aggregation tools gather information from diverse sources, including competitor pricing, booking patterns, and customer reviews. This allows businesses to stay informed about industry trends and adjust their strategies accordingly. For instance, understanding peak booking times or identifying emerging travel destinations can guide marketing efforts and pricing strategies.
3. Optimizing Operations:
Efficient operations are the backbone of any successful travel and hotel business. Data aggregation helps streamline internal processes by consolidating data from various departments, such as reservations, housekeeping, and finance. This centralized data hub enhances communication, reduces redundancies, and improves overall operational efficiency. As a result, businesses can allocate resources more effectively, minimize costs, and provide a seamless experience for both staff and guests.
4. Dynamic Pricing Strategies:
With fluctuating demand and ever-changing market conditions, setting the right price for rooms and travel packages is a constant challenge. Data aggregation empowers businesses to implement dynamic pricing strategies by analyzing real-time data on booking patterns, seasonal trends, and competitor pricing. This ensures that prices are competitive, maximizing revenue during peak periods and attracting budget-conscious travelers during off-peak times.
5. Enhanced Marketing Campaigns:
Crafting targeted marketing campaigns is essential for reaching the right audience. Data aggregation enables businesses to segment their customer base effectively, tailoring marketing messages based on demographics, preferences, and past behaviors. This personalized approach increases the effectiveness of marketing efforts, driving customer engagement and loyalty.
6. Predictive Analytics for Future Planning:
The ability to predict future trends is a game-changer for the travel and hotel industry. Data aggregation, coupled with advanced analytics, allows businesses to forecast demand, identify emerging markets, and plan for future expansions. This proactive approach ensures that businesses are well-prepared for changing consumer preferences and industry shifts.
In conclusion, data aggregation is a powerful tool that empowers travel and hotel businesses to thrive in a competitive market. By harnessing the wealth of information available, businesses can enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and stay ahead of industry trends. As the industry continues to evolve, those who embrace the potential of data aggregation are sure to secure a prominent position in the ever-expanding world of travel and hospitality.

In early twenty-first century internet mapping databases such as Google Maps, most information is at least partially user-generated. Open Street Maps is an open source, crowd sourced, publicly available dataset of any and all geographic information in the style of Wikipedia, where anyone can submit information for any reason, and volunteer users moderate and validate information, to identify egregious flaws, errors, or outright lies. The entire repository of this geographic knowledge is available freely.
Private Companies (and other Open Source projects) will make use of this data. Some will use it to augment other sources of information. Others will look at the change logs and have internal teams audit the information before applying it to their local map databases. Still others will use it wholesale and unquestioningly. Separate from Open Street Maps, most mapping software has the ability for users to submit new information and corrections directly to the company so that it can be reviewed and potentially included.
In the case of the above, the "Lake McDonald's" landmark tag would almost certainly not have been the work of Google or Google Maps directly, but rather a solitary individual updating the database for their own amusement in a manner which was not rejected by any moderation process at the time of the screenshot. Certainly puddles would not exist in any official governmental dataset.
Most people in the early twenty-first century are completely unaware of Open Street Maps or these sorts of public, crowd sourced data. Of those that are aware, a majority likely do not contribute, in the same way that Wikipedia has far more users than editors.

The parking lot near my house has been flooded so long that Google Maps now considers it a natural landmark.
#period novel details#crowd sourced open source data is just such a good thing in humanity#Open Street Maps is pretty dang cool#it's a bit intimidating for casual use#but it really is wikipedia for location data#obviously there are problems with that format#some years ago at work I was fixing a bug in a mapping tool#and the ultimate cause was a change in OSM data with an edit history that effectively said “breaking things on purpose”#but in aggregate I think this kind of thing is proof of the inherit goodness in large swaths of humanity#bless you people who volunteer to edit Wikipedia; archive data; contribute to open source projects; or add things to open street maps#you are the heroes of the internet

that article going around abt firefox's new ad program is annoying bc it's phrased as though "mozilla has finally TURNED on its people and is SELLING YOU OUT for cold hard cash!!" when. that's not what's happening. it is specifically being implemented to discourage tracking behavior, and literally all the data they are giving to advertisers is aggregate and anonymized, which is like, the opposite of what that post wants you to worry about, lol
#the nemesis speaks#unfortunately i don't have enough energy to like. campaign about this.#it's actually a really interesting tactic to discourage invasive tracking#basically giving individual advertisers a way to measure '% effectiveness of ad' without individual info getting attached to it#whatever anyway i'm going to bed. do NOT discourse on this post or i will get your ass

Users on X (formerly Twitter) love to tag the verified @grok account in replies to get the large language model's take on any number of topics. On Wednesday, though, that account started largely ignoring those requests en masse in favor of redirecting the conversation towards the topic of alleged "white genocide" in South Africa and the related song "Kill the Boer."
Searching the Grok account's replies for mentions of "genocide" or "boer" currently returns dozens if not hundreds of posts where the LLM responds to completely unrelated queries with quixotic discussions about alleged killings of white farmers in South Africa (though many have been deleted in the time just before this post went live; links in this story have been replaced with archived versions where appropriate). The sheer range of these non-sequiturs is somewhat breathtaking; everything from questions about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s disinformation to discussions of MLB pitcher Max Scherzer's salary to a search for new group-specific put-downs, see Grok quickly turning the subject back toward the suddenly all-important topic of South Africa.
It's like Grok has become the world's most tiresome party guest, harping on its own pet talking points to the exclusion of any other discussion....
In launching the Grok 3 model in February, Musk said it was a "maximally truth-seeking AI, even if that truth is sometimes at odds with what is politically correct." X's "About Grok" page says that the model is undergoing constant improvement to "ensure Grok remains politically unbiased and provides balanced answers."
But the recent turn toward unprompted discussions of alleged South African "genocide" has many questioning what kind of explicit adjustments Grok's political opinions may be getting from human tinkering behind the curtain. "The algorithms for Musk products have been politically tampered with nearly beyond recognition," journalist Seth Abramson wrote in one representative skeptical post. "They tweaked a dial on the sentence imitator machine and now everything is about white South Africans," a user with the handle Guybrush Threepwood glibly theorized.
#elon musk#twitter#artificial intelligence#genai#remember llm's are not about verifying information for accuracy#the goal is to spit out words from it's training data in the form of sentences#they literally cannot be truth seeking#companies are relying on data in aggregate being correct#there's no verification mechanism like spell check or translators
