valgrace except they parade around pretending to hate each other. leo plays pranks and jason says offhanded comments, both getting on the other’s nerves and it’s like entertainment for pretty much the entire camp. popcorn in their laps and bets are even placed between cabins.

yet late at night, someone sneaks into jason’s cabin past curfew.

“did anyone follow you?” jason whispered.

leo shook his head. “nope.” and they kiss. they kiss and hold each other in their arms on stolen time.

and of course, thinking none the wiser and keeping their act but way back in the distance, campers are paying up and there’s stifled laughter and giggles especially from annabeth and piper. they know but they also know it’s exhilarating sneaking around with someone you can’t stand (you’re in love with)

Nurse Gracie Webb

Nurse Gracie Webb is the youngest nurse in the 4077th, fresh out of nursing school and ready to make a difference. Unlike some of the other nurses, she welcomes the flirting of the surgeons. In particular, she thinks Hawkeye’s simply irresistible. But unfortunately for Gracie, she is seen as a mere child by almost all her colleagues, and that unfortunately extends to the men. She yearns to be seen as more than “the 4077th’s kid sister”.

Gracie’s relationship with the other members of the 4077th:

Hawkeye Pierce (and Trapper John McIntyre)

Nurse Gracie falls head over heels for Hawkeye the first time she hears him crack one of his rotten puns. His charm and wit are irresistible to her, and so are his hypnotic blue eyes. Hawkeye can’t help being attracted to her, too. But unfortunately for Gracie, Captain Pierce is sorely afraid of making a move on her—it’d be like kissing his kid sister. Sadly, Trapper has the same qualm. Gracie tries everything in her power to make the handsome surgeons see that she’s an adult, but to no avail.

B.J. Hunnicutt

Gracie hopes against hope that B.J. will be different—that he’ll see her as an equal, maybe even someone worth dating. But though B.J. doesn’t scoff at the idea, he kills the vibe almost immediately by comparing her to what he hopes Erin will be like when she grows up.

Charles Emerson Winchester III

Though she frowns upon his snooty ideology, Gracie isn’t averse to asking Charles for help in making her seem more adult. Unfortunately, since Hawkeye and him aren’t exactly on the best terms, this doesn’t exactly help her win Hawk’s heart.

Margaret Houlihan

From the moment she arrives, Gracie looks up to Margaret. But due to her high standards, Margaret looks down on her, constantly driving Gracie to try and prove herself. Unfortunately she can’t win—those attempts are simply seen as reckless behavior by Margaret.

Frank Burns

Gracie’s an easy target for Frank Burns’ bullying—but this makes him an easy target for her pranks, and gives her ample opportunities to try and fail at impressing Hawkeye.

Radar O’Reilly

Gracie and Radar bond pretty quickly over their status as the youngest members of the 4077th and their mistreatment by Margaret and Frank. However, their bond is misinterpreted by many of the other doctors as a romantic one. Radar hates that Hawkeye and co. tease him about his “girlfriend”.

Col. Henry Blake

Gracie likes Henry most of the time, but unfortunately, he has one pesky habit—making jokes about she and Radar being a couple. Both she and Radar are not thrilled that Henry assumes they’re a couple just because they’re the same age.

Col. Sherman Potter

Since Potter doesn’t automatically assume she and Radar are boyfriend and girlfriend, he’s a-OK in Gracie’s book! He is a father figure to her just as much as he is to everyone else in camp.

Father Mulcahy

Father Mulcahy is one of the few people in camp who doesn’t discriminate against Gracie on the basis of age. Everyone is equal in the eyes of God…and Father Mulcahy. Gracie appreciates Father very much.

Corporal Max Klinger

Though his antics anger and annoy Gracie at first—she sees them as selfish and disruptive—after Klinger comes through for her in quite a few pinches, she changes her tune. At first, Max likes her because she provides a litmus test on whether to go through with his schemes (the angrier she is, the better), but her ability to stop him from endangering his life makes him gain a new respect for her. Klinger and Gracie realize they are a lot alike in their fruitless pursuits of a Section 8 and Hawkeye respectively. And Klinger’s the only non-celibate who sees Gracie as an equal. A friendship eventually begins to develop between the cross-dressing corporal and the nurse, which soon develops into a romance.
