The Ghost of Hilltop Road | theanxiousghostartist | Agnes/Ghost/Hilltop Road | Day 5 prompts for @tma-retro-week
It must be nice, not having a destiny...
Agnes!!! I remembered that Agnes had a connection to Hilltop Road, with the house that Agnes inherited, until she burned it down, so I wanted to draw a house as a nod to that. It is on the top of a hill because of "Hilltop Road," and there is a flame on one window and a spiderweb in another. Agnes herself is disappearing, like a ghost. Perhaps she is known as the "ghost of Hilltop Road," and maybe Cane uses that as a cover for her activities later in the series.
The full background, in case you were wondering (:

In RP stuff, Gerry goes Desolation. Sort-of an AU where Gertrude doesn't end up burning the book with Mary's pages in it, and he ends up burning the book shop down himself and ends up going off the deep end not long after.
(Jude Perry is actually the one that gets him going Desolation, though not intentionally; she wanted to kill him)
His sweat is something like Nitroglycerine; he smells slightly sweet. Being submerged in water can do him a lot of harm, though it won't kill him unless he actively drowns. He isn't waxy like the Lightless, something more like kindling or hot coal to the core.
Song: Gary Numan - My Name Is Ruin
Bonus under the cut:
Strawberry Blond boy. When he first went Desolation in full, it got rid of his hair dye and he had to re-dye it all.

The world has a secret potential to transform itself at any moment into a film set.
Northern Noir was photographed during the summer and winter of 2015 in Northern Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. My intent was to create a series of film stills taken from an unknown and fictional film, more precisely, a crime film. I…
