I kinda got myself back into Destroy All Humans and I made a video edit with Crypto although I used clips from the remakes (I think I ended up using more from the second game than the first game, there was a lot more clips I could use).

This was basically an experiment with using more video clips than images as well as having transitions mesh with the video clips as well.

I think it came out quite well. I do have another edit for Crypto that I will upload at a later date.

Song I used was WILDCARD by Kira but the audio was edited slightly. The clips I used were edited slightly to better fit each segments.

I love how I can barely write while awake, but I have these cinematic-quality dreams that tell epic sometimes cohesive stories when I'm asleep. The unfortunate thing is I act out my dreams while I'm sleeping and wake up exhausted.

So last night I had one long dream centered around the Destroy All Humans! universe that had the character I was acting as at odds with one very irate and determined furon scientist and a contingent of furon soldiers (and their saucers) who were relentlessly and ruthlessly hunting "me." Somehow, "I" had managed to steal a very important and expensive prototype from the scientist, a prototype that the furon military was also very adamant about recovering. It took place on some sort of space base.

My character, being a gleeful madcap shit-stirrer mocked the furons hunting her as she took the prototype on a joyride. "I" was laughing like a maniac while my friends screamed their heads off, hanging on for dear life. The pursuing furon barked at each other in a harsh guttural tongue "I "didn't understand. My character had an accident that resulted in her gaining powerful, but high-cost psionic abilities that she used against the furons. Probably the next biggest reason they were interested in "me."

One by one, my friends were killed until "I" was alone against overwhelming odds. Oh, I wasn't fighting these guys alone either, the space station security officers fought the bulk of furon forces. Furon saucers were blasting the station apart as we fought. I was just trying to escape, but those little fuckers were dead set on what my character thought was killing me. I kept using my psionic abilities to fight them off, but the narrative me was screaming "furons can die from pk exhaustion", a factoid I remembered from DAH! 2 Reprobed's codex.

Those little shits were tricking me into using my psionic abilities as character me was oblivious to the idea that I might be overexerting myself. Sure enough, despite not being a furon, "I" began to rapidly tire until I was weak. I got thrown off the prototype and used my pk to slow fall. I weakly climbed to my feet to find myself surrounded by furons. Dream!Me, being a reckless dumbass, fired off a powerful PK burst hurling them aside. I was out of breath and panting, bordering on unconsciousness. Then this badass lady furon stepped out of nowhere and beat my ass before clapping space cuffs on me.

I blacked out in the dream and woke up in an eerie lab with the furon scientist sneering at me. He proceeds to torture me by electrocuting me as I'm strapped into a machine. He keeps bitching me out about all the trouble I put him through and I'm being a smart ass in the replies.

He takes a vial of blood which, seeing it as this slightly purplish-blue instead of the normal red color, freaks me out. At the end of the dream, my character discovers that her accident has activated the dormant furon genes in her genetic code. I wake up screaming "Aaah! My blood is blue!" as the experiments were about to begin.

It's really funny that even in my dreams I roleplay as another character. I wasn't even thinking about Destroy All Humans! before I fell asleep.

Here's another edit for Crypto from 'Destroy All Humans!' with clips from the remakes. This time I primarily used video while also having more cutscenes used than the last time.

I mainly explored the filters and effects that the program I was using had as well as the transitions available while also messing with the audio to make it almost sound as if Crypto was singing it.

Song I used was a cover of 4BLOOD that was done by NK伊藤 which was altered slightly. The video clips used were also edited to better fit the segments.

i mean, sure, he did the training and all that, but did he even get to work at his desk??? did he even put on the uniform??? i didn't think so.
