She is a germaphobe who is very particular about keeping everything clean, and hates ponies being in her personal space or intruding on her family’s farm. The high-class life that her Mother Diamond inherited is much more suited for Nouveau, but even that is tainted. As a yak living in Equestria, Nouveau is not blind to the fact that she is treated differently because she is not a pony, especially among the elites. The unequal treatment and opportunities she receives are greater than any of Nouveau’s worries about cleanliness. It is frustrating to no end and sometimes she wants to yak-smash somepony’s face in just so they’ll realize what they’re doing.

Sexuality Headcanon: she's a lesbian, but specially she has comphet until she's like 18 and finally realizes she's a lesbian after getting away from her parents. Gender Headcanon: probably cis, but explores her identity later in life. experiments with her style and gender expression occasionally. A ship I have with said character: diamondbloom all the way!!! but i also like her with the other cmc or silver spoon, or babs. A BROTP I have with said character: i prefer her and pipsqueak being bffs! working together to help the school, or planning things together. later in life i think he'd become her second in command when she tries to become mayor of ponyville. A NOTP I have with said character: basically any ship with her with a guy, like DiamondRumble just seemed random. A random headcanon: I have this headcanon that she has a older sister named Spoiled Rotten (similar age gap to the cmc & their sisters), who despite the name is actually rather sweet- but kind of a pushover when it comes to their parents. Though their relationship is rather Helga & Olga, where Spoiled Rotten is put on a pedestal cause she's successful and Diamond Tiara is mostly ignored, so DT actively dislikes her. I'd imagine there'd be a situation of the cmc helping her repair their relationship! General Opinion over said character: Is it a safe space to say that I tried during Crusaders of the Lost Mark because of her songs and development? It was also like 2am at night, but I cried like a baby. Yes, she's a typical 'spoiled girl with a bad family' trope, but she's just special in my heart. I really wish she had more development with the cmc and not just delegated to the background in late seasons! Like they needed more episodes with them being friends.
