FEBRUARY WRITING PROMPTS MASTERLIST-

1. Black coffee  Bucky Barnes x Reader; Bucky is your roommate, and finds you in the kitchen at 6am. You both need black coffee.

2. Abandoned terrace Sirius Black x Reader; Sirius returns to you after what feels like a life time. It doesn’t matter where you are a magical castle or an abandoned terrace, you’ll accept into your arms again regardless.

3. The 7:10 train Skinny!Steve Rogers x Reader; You return home from work and go to speak to your roommate: Steve. When you do find him, you know something is wrong. He’s enlisted, and he’s leaving on the 7:10 train. [PART 2: Launch]

4. Conversations in the kitchen  Bill Weasley x Reader; You wake up alone in your usually shared bed and make your way down to the kitchen to spend the morning with your lover.

15. Diary  Wanda Maximoff x Reader; Part of you knew you shouldn’t be reading Wanda’s diary... The other half had to know how she felt about you.

16. Baby blue Ivar Ragnarsson x Reader; Even when you should be mad at him, you can’t help but notice how blue Ivar’s eyes are... Baby blue.

17. Hotel room Dean Winchester x Reader; You have to pretend to be married to Dean for a case, and your feelings for him are only brought closer to the surface when there’s only one bed in the hotel room.

“If you’re so insistent on not having me stand around and stare at you while I’m here, then could you at least bring me a chair to sit in?” Hands placed on hips, brows furrow under an unwavering gaze cast toward the bespectacled blond. While she didn’t particularly expect any sort of compliant response, she figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. “It’d be rude of me to bring my own. And don’t you tell me that sitting on the floor is an option either.”

Ability User A5158, Nakahara Chuuya. There is a fire that singed everything in his wake and she has had the pleasure of witnessing it first hand a couple of times in the past. It disarms her own level of determination and confidence and knocks her down several pegs. Every step he makes – every breath he takes all has an overwhelming decisiveness that she can’t say she’s ever seen from anyone else. At least, never to this extent. Brows knit with wavering intent.

“Of course... I wasn’t...–”

Her hands ball into fists, held firmly at her sides. She wouldn’t allow herself to be caught speechless in one of their passing encounters. Not this time.

“You’ve done invaluable things for this city, Nakahara-san,” Tsujimura declares loudly with sudden confidence. She has to prove to him, no–... she has to prove to herself that she deserved to be heard after all this time. “It’s your own business why you affiliate yourself with such an organization. But it doesn’t wash out the good you’ve done while being there. It’s a part of our job to monitor you, but I swear on everything I stand by, we have no intention of carving your path of life for you. Please don’t forget this. I have no intention of going back on what I’ve said today. Caring about your wellbeing is not a sign of cowardice.”

She’s unsure or not as to if this mission was a test of her abilities. Still, she felt utterly inadequate at the side of the Hunting Dog. Their capabilities were entirely uncomparable from one another – hell, he was leagues ahead of her despite all of her training. Tsujimura had no room to decline the assignment, both out of obligation and feeling that it would insult Jono if she were to anyway. He could have accomplished this infiltration endeavor with any of his other coworkers. Yet, he complied to work by her side. With such a heavy burden and feeling of responsibility lying on her shoulder, she refused to be dead weight.

At least, she planned to not be a burden. This attempt, while honored for the time span of forty minutes into a ‘deserted’ battleground, would eventually come crashing down into something she’d immediately deem as a failure on her part. A sword cuts through the frigid air in a flourish quicker than her hand could reach for her pistol. In a matter of seconds, the chill of wind hits the back of her neck. The sound of a body dropping is unmistakable. She freezes in place, quickly craning her head back to face the carnage of her savior. Her eyes widen in absolute horror. It’s pathetic – her reflexes were usually much more precise. Had he not been there to save her, would she have acted quick enough to defend herself?

“I...”  Tsujimura swallows the lump in her throat gravely. It’s mortifying to know that she was that close to striking distance of an ambushed attacker. “Thank you for saving me. I’ll pay better attention so this doesn’t happen again.”

JOHN JAKES’S THE SEEKERS ( 1975 ) STARTERS.

A shot would have been fine. Maybe a little more than a shot – there was no real way to deny such a generous offer to treat her to a drink. However, she’s noticed that not only is the bottle he’s pouring from quite expensive, but he is pouring a ludicrous amount back into her cup. Wide-eyed and expecting him to stop sometime, she all but screams when the cup is nearly filled to the brim. Tsujimura is an awful lightweight and she still needed to go into work the next day! 

“Stop! Stop! Are you trying to kill me!?” Hands slam on the countertop, donning the all too familiar flustered, overwhelmed state of being. Her truest form, certainly. “I can’t drink that much – especially when I’m supposed to go back and continue my paperwork bright and early in the morning!”

“Stop it! We haven’t even authorized the Hunting Dogs to proceed forward with this case! I won’t allow you to go off on your own on my watch!”

Watching the back of a jacket flourish decisively through the wind was something that she found far too commonplace than she’d like. There is a moment of paralysis that leaves her standing there, quite dumbfounded at the audacity of rebellion wavering in his words. Her pace quickens seconds after, hand curling at the figurative, invisible dog leash which she used to follow behind Jono. Just why were the mass sum of men in her life like this?

“You’re acting far too rash! Get back here before I take you back by force!” A hand reaches out hastily to grip onto his uniform jacket. A seemingly futile effort on Tsujimura’s part to get him to heel. “I might not win, but I can assure you I’ll put up one hell of a fight!”
