Eka syksy takana. Vielä olisi jäljellä matematiikkaa, jonka onneksi voi suorittaa etänä Moodlessa vuoden loppuun mennessä. Onneksi jäi aikaa sille! No rest for the wicked. 😅

Itse lähdin opintoihin ammattikoulupohjalta ja muutaman (6) vuoden työkokemuksella suunnitteluassarin hommista(teknisen suunnittelun pk), lähinnä asiantuntijahommista loppujen lopuksi.

Ja.... Yllätyksenä tuli, että varsinkin matematiikassa ja fysiikassa vaaditaan yhtä kovaa osaamista kuin yo-kokeissa. Siitä oli ponnistamista. 😭 Ja on vieläkin.

Vielä olisi kevätlukukausi opintoja ja sitten takaisin Swecolle kesäksi töihin.

Tästä yhteenvetona... Kun suunnitteluassari muuttuu insinööriksi. Uhka vai mahdollisuus? 😂

I'm going to add my final two cents into the Slapstick Anon's need to make Robotnik worse in Underground than he actually is - but one has to understand that NO amount of 'making him slapstick' takes away the uniqueness that is how Robotnik's rule feels more like him actually ruling the area he's conquered as opposed to making everything a damn dumping ground and sitting on his ass doing nothing. The aristrocrats have reason to fear Robotnik in this series, from the robot servers being potentially made to spy on them, as the case with Dobot in 'Haircraft in Space', but also the potential to being swindled by Sleet and Dingo at every opportunity if they're the debt collectors. They can't even set their own limit on the price for a dud bomb in 'Artifact' without Robotnik snapping at them and demanding that they give more. It gives off more fear to me than 'Robotnik the fatass, lazy son of a bitch has turned everything into a dumping ground, and stole tech from someone because they were too stupid to not accept his help from them'.

I'd rather have a universe where Robotnik is shown to be evil, to shown that he constantly keeps tabs on people he suspects are traitors, and be shown that he can maintain his cruelness constantly by using people's fathers/mothers against them (hi, Cyrus and his father!), or even forcing people to have their morals strained by having them make something beneficial for his continued existance (The LaTours and the Spy Watches in 'The Price of Freedom' say hi, as well! Also Stripes from 'The Last Resort' also says hi, too!). There's a reason why Show, Don't Tell exists as a concept, and I have to say Underground, for all it's faults, does show more of how Robotnik's rule affects people more than the terribleness of Sonic SatAM, and the Robotnik that would never get off his ass for anything unless Sonic or the Freedom Fighters were in the room with him. I'd rather have Show, Don't Tell, and Dr. Robotnik of Underground shows that he's quite a fearful being despite the slapstick moments.

Where does that leave Dr. Fakeman of SatAM fame, when he isn't shown being 'evil' beyond sitting on his chair and bitching at Snively at every opportunity?

Plus, how would he know who was secretly supporting the rebels without spying on everyone? You think Eggman is going to respect privacy or care that you've supported him in the past?

SatAM was just...ech. Dude sat in a chair and spoke about how being evil gave him tingles when him being evil was...telling Snivley to push a button. He was too try-hard and just one-note.

It is really amazing that the two shows have the similar premise of Eggman conquered the world and Sonic and his friends fighting to free them, but Underground makes the concept more appealing by simply traveling the world (you know, like Sonic normally does.)

It's not a perfect show, but I understand why it's become a cult classic. It works as a Sonic adaptation.
