DocLion headcanons pretty please...?

a/n: anon, you are in for the long haul. you are enabling my love for doclion and i will cherish you forever! also im trying to get through requests, so pardon my absence!

Their friendship first begins when one is severely injured during a major operation. Lion goes down in a hot breach and Doc is left to find him on his own. (this could totally be a fic…) In the heat of the firefight, Olivier becomes increasingly aware of Gustave’s concern for him, despite their constant fighting. A little emotion comes out of a post-mission discussion but the two have begun to repair their bond.

Whenever Gustave works late, Olivier treks to the medbay to bother him. Although mostly out of petty clinginess, Lion bothers Doc simply because he is concerned about his habits. His concern only grew when he once found Gustave passed out behind his desk after overworking himself to collapse. It makes Olivier a little paranoid nowadays, but Gustave is completely oblivious to it. 

Doc makes Lion buttered toast to bring to him at the shop, and Lion makes coffee to bring to Doc in the medbay.

Despite Gustave’s initial objections, Olivier convinces him to let him keep a stray cat in their dorm after weeks of pleading and whining. It’s a tiny grey kitten that Lion found in a bush just outside base. Gustave worries it might mess with his belongings, but Olivier is sure that he can train the cat. 

Whenever Gustave doesn’t come to bed til late, Olivier lies awake, waiting. Most of the time it’s because he misses the medic, but other times, he becomes paranoid about Doc’s safety. He doesn’t want a rerun of him finding Gustave on the floor, dead to the world.

On their off days, the two will spend time together working out, cooking, or cuddling indoors. Oftentimes, they’ll be doing normal things with each other rather than going on extravagant dates. They go out for romantic dinners sometimes, but mostly for special occasions like a birthday or anniversary. Domestic life is beautiful, isn’t it?

There’s nothing more worrying than having one leave for a mission without the other. When Gustave leaves, Gilles is on the receiving end of Olivier’s worried rambles. When Olivier leaves, Gustave locks himself in the med bay, doing copious amounts of work to avoid worrying about Olivier. All of the GIGN find both their antics incredibly obvious, despite the fact that both constantly deny it.

In training sims, Olivier constantly tries to sneak up on Gustave and pounce on him, just to try and scare the shit out of Doc. This mostly ends with Lion’s demise, but it amuses him nevertheless. Gustave finds this incredibly annoying, and Olivier (gleefully) gets an earful after simulations end. 

Olivier used to have a crippling coffee addiction, but he’s cut down on it ever since he experienced Gustave’s caffeine withdrawals. Even now he tries to convince Doc to *not* drink so much of the stuff.

Oh, you tricky bastard, I almost fell for the bear thing and named him Tachanka! However, it says the bear has two wolves inside it, so that's obviously kinky Kapkan. The two wolves inside Kapkan are Glaz and Tachanka, of course. That makes the man who is cake Fuze.

As for the wolves asking the woman if she would love them if they were a worm, I think Finka should lay off the drugs 😂
