Yorkshire Terrier Grooming: Keeping that Signature Coat Beautiful
Tumblr media
Are you ready to welcome a Yorkshire Terrier into your life, with those irresistible puppy dog eyes and a coat that's just as charming? Whether you have already found a Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Leeds or are in the process of getting one, you are in for a delightful journey of pet ownership. These tiny pups are known for their stunning, silky fur, which is truly iconic.
But, as any Yorkie owner knows, maintaining that signature coat takes some dedication. Here, we are going to delve into the world of Yorkshire Terrier grooming, sharing tips and tricks to ensure that your furry friend's coat stays as beautiful as the day you first met.
Brush, Brush, Brush
The Yorkshire Terrier's coat is a showstopper, but it requires regular attention. Daily brushing is a must to prevent matting and to keep the fur looking its best. A slicker brush or pin brush is ideal for their long, fine hair. Start from the tips and work your way up to the roots, gently removing any tangles or debris.
2. Bath Time is Essential
Yorkies may not be the most enthusiastic swimmers, but regular baths are crucial to maintaining their coat. If you are looking for a Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Manchester, understand that you have to spend some money on high-quality dog shampoo and conditioner, ensuring their skin doesn't dry out.
3. Trimming and Grooming
Professional grooming for your Yorkshire Terrier is an excellent investment. A groomer can expertly trim your Yorkie's coat to maintain its iconic appearance. If you'd like to do it yourself, be prepared to learn the art of scissoring and clipping or investing in a good pair of grooming shears.
Do you know? The estimated size of the UK Pet Grooming Market reached US$ 524.4 million in 2022, with an expected compound annual growth rate of 5.7% from 2022 to 2032. This substantial figure reflects the widespread interest in dog grooming, and it's a sign of how much care and attention pet owners are willing to invest in their beloved furry companions. 4. Protect from the Elements
When winter rolls around, it is essential to protect your Yorkie from the cold and damp. If you have a plan to buy one Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Manchester, you should know that British weather can be unpredictable. Invest in doggy sweaters and coats to keep them warm during walks.

The Ultimate Guide to Pet Grooming Services in Leeds
Regarding pet grooming services in Leeds, plenty of options exist to pamper your furry friend. The choices are endless, from traditional grooming salons to mobile groomers that come right to your doorstep. But how do you know which is your beloved pet's ultimate choice?
One factor to consider is a grooming service's level of expertise and experience. Look for establishments with certified groomers who have a passion for animals and stay up to date with the latest grooming techniques. This way, you can ensure that your pet will receive top-notch care.
Another important aspect to evaluate is the range of services a grooming service offers. While basic services like bathing and brushing are essential, consider additional offerings such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
Some places even offer special treatments like hot oil massages or facial scrubs! By selecting a service that provides a comprehensive range of treatments, you can give your pet the full spa-like experience they deserve.
Why grooming is important for your pet
Pet Grooming Service is not just about making your pet look neat. It plays a crucial role in their overall well-being and health. Regular grooming sessions allow owners to physically examine their pets, checking for any abnormalities or issues that may go unnoticed. By properly grooming your pet, you can detect early signs of diseases such as skin infections, ticks, or fleas.
Moreover, grooming helps in maintaining a clean and healthy coat. Regular brushing removes dead hair, distributes natural oils to keep the fur shiny and healthy, and prevents tangles or matting.
For dogs specifically, grooming also reduces shedding, which can be a boon for those with allergies. Additionally, regular nail trimming prevents overgrowth, which is uncomfortable and can lead to painful injuries if left unattended.
Furthermore, grooming sessions serve as bonding opportunities between owners and their pets. The gentle touch during brushing or bathing can help build trust while providing a calming effect on both parties involved.
It is also important to note that professional pet groomers play a vital role by providing expert care tailored to each animal's needs. Whether it's nail trimming or breed-specific haircuts, seeking professional services ensures that your beloved companion receives the best care tailored to them.
Different types of pet grooming services are available
Regarding pet grooming services, a wide range of options are available for our furry friends. From basic baths and haircuts to luxurious spa treatments, there is something for every dog in Leeds.
Mobile grooming is another type of pet grooming service that has been gaining popularity lately. With this convenient option, a fully equipped groomer comes directly to your doorstep in Leeds, eliminating the need to transport your dog anywhere.
Mobile groomers offer a range of services, including bathing, trimming nails, and cleaning ears and teeth, all in the comfort of your home. This option can be especially beneficial for dogs who get anxious when taken out of their familiar surroundings or those with mobility issues.
For those looking to pamper their pets even more, luxury spas and salons dedicated solely to pet care are also available in Leeds. These establishments provide top-notch services such as aromatherapy baths with organic products and therapeutic massages tailored specifically for our four-legged companions.
One popular service is professional dog groomers in Leeds, where trained experts use their expertise to ensure your pup looks and feels their best. These groomers know how to handle even the most nervous dogs, making the process stress-free for both the pet and the owner.
In addition to the usual grooming practices like haircuts and nail trims, these high-end facilities often have additional amenities like exclusive play areas or even specialized relaxation sessions designed to ensure that your furry friend receives the royal treatment they deserve.
Different types of pet grooming services are available
When it comes to pet grooming services, the options are endless. From basic baths to elaborate makeovers, there is something for every furry friend in Leeds. One popular type of pet grooming service is the standard bath and brush.
This usually includes a thorough cleaning with pet-friendly shampoo and conditioner, followed by brushing to remove tangles or loose hair. Many groomers also offer additional services such as nail trimming and ear cleaning as part of this package.
For those pets with longer coats, a full groom may be required. This involves all the steps of a bath and brush but also includes trimming or shaping the fur using scissors or clippers. To create a neat and polished look, the groomer will carefully work on areas that need special attention, such as the face, paws, and tail.
Some pet owners opt for creative grooming, which involves dyeing their pets' fur in unique colors or adding decorative accessories like bows or ribbons.
Another increasingly popular trend is mobile pet grooming services, where professional groomers come directly to your doorstep in specially equipped vans. This option offers convenience for busy pet owners who may need more time to take their pets to a salon or prefer their furry friends to be groomed in familiar surroundings.
Mobile grooming services often include everything from baths and trims to specialized treatments like de-shedding or flea treatments right at your doorstep.
Conclusion
In conclusion, pet grooming in Leeds is about more than just maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our furry friends. It goes beyond that to enhance their overall health and well-being. The grooming process allows us to bond with our pets deeper as we give them the care and attention they deserve.
Regular grooming sessions also help detect any underlying health issues, such as skin infections or parasites, early, ensuring prompt treatment and prevention of further complications.
Moreover, professional pet groomers in Leeds bring a wealth of expertise. They are skilled in handling different breeds, each with its unique set of requirements.
From understanding specific coat types to employing appropriate tools and techniques, these experts ensure your pet receives the best possible care during every session.
By entrusting your beloved companion to professionals who prioritize their comfort and safety, you can rest assured knowing they will be pampered from head to toe.

Alana Bloom sat on an uncomfortable chair. The divider between her and Hannibal Lecter was a thick, clear plastic. To Hannibal they were sitting together at his desk. To her, to the reality of her, he sat in his jail cell. The two of them seemed comfortable with each other once again, now that there was no way Hannibal could lay his fingers on her again.
It was the only reason Alana agreed to stay.
“Congratulations, Hannibal. You’re officially insane.”
In front of Hannibal were different and various papers. A newspaper sat there, detailing a family slaughtered in Buffalo.
“There’s no consensus in the psychiatric community what I should be termed,” he said.
“You’ve long been regarded by your peers in psychiatry as something entirely Other. For convenience, they term you a monster.” Hannibal’s eyes flickered up, away from his papers and on to her. She had cleaned herself up since they were last close. The suit she wore made her look distinguished. Her hair up in curls. Sophisticated.
“What do you term me?” he questioned.
“I don’t. You defy categorization.”
“Do you still prefer beer to wine?” he questioned. She pursed her lips, remembering bad memories.
“Stopped drinking beer when I found out what you were putting in mine.”
“Who,” he corrected. She gave the slightest of nods.
“Who.” She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts. “This means you’ll be spared the federal death sentence. They had enough to convict you dozen times over.”
“A baker’s dozen. Lest we forget Mason Verger. You’re welcome.”
“You’re welcome Hannibal. The needle was guaranteed. But you beat it all on an insanity plea.”
“I’m not insane.” Alana nodded. She understood that.
“You know that and I know that. A dozen or a baker’s dozen, enough people have died.”
“You haven’t,” he pointed out simply.
“A promise in waiting, isn’t it? A promise you intend to keep.”
“I always keep my promises.” His lips flew into a small smile. Alana simply adjusted her spot in the seat.
-
“Get out of my chair, Frederick.”
Chilton stood up from Alana’s chair. Since she had become the director of the asylum things had been changed. For the better. Chilton was crooked, despite his frequent placing in her chair. She walked over and sat down at her desk and reorganized the documents that Chilton had been messing with.
“Shall we join hands in prayer of gratitude? ‘Thank you, Father, for allowing us to remove this monster, monster of monsters, from your flock. Thank you on behalf of the souls We will spare of pain.’” Chilton stood at the other side of her desk now.
“Thank you on behalf of the monster.” She leaned back in her chair. “Was that the magisterial We?”
“It’s our cabal, yours and mine. Hannibal Lecter will spend the rest of his life in a state institution, watching the diaper cart go by.”
“We lied. You wrote a book of lies,” she pointed out.
“Not difficult to see lies flying above my head, but it is almost impossible to shoot them down,” he pointed out.
“You should be lucky that Y/N is a respectable woman. She should have sued you for what you insinuated between her and Hannibal,” she pointed out.
“You say that only because you couldn’t sue me for speaking the truth about you and Hannibal.” He dragged a finger along the desk. “I wasn’t invited to the wedding though.”
“You held the groom at this asylum when you ran it,” she pointed out.
“Still. I put the actual murderer in jail.”
“I’m pretty sure they did that.” She picked up her pen. “Either way, Hannibal will shoot down your lies. He’s written a brilliant piece for The American Journal of Psychiatry.”
“Everything he writes is always about problems he doesn’t have,” Chilton said.
“What he’s written is going to be your problem. It’s not so much an article as it is a rebuttal.” She smiled to herself. “He has an acid pen.”
-
Will stood out by the shed. The dogs were balancing around him, running around and barking happily. Will was bundled against the cold although you had been the person who threw all of the layers at him. The dogs kicked up the snow. He was repairing the fence out there, something to keep busy.
He looked up the gravel driveway and a black SVU came down the track.
He let out a sigh, caught by the cold.
Jack Crawford came out of the car.
-
“Don’t want to talk inside?” Jack asked as Will handed him a mug of hot cider. Several stray dogs lay and mill at their feet as Will leaned against the porch railing. “Don’t want to let me inside. Come too far to let the cold stop me, Will.”
Will pursed his lips.
“Bold of you to show up.”
“Where’s Y/N?” he questioned.
“Making dinner. She didn’t hear you coming up and was, lucky for you, unaware I was making two cups of cider.” Will was relaxed but his tone was uneven.
“You don't want to talk about it here,” Jack said.
“I don't want to talk about it anywhere. You’ve got to talk about it, so let’s have it. Just don’t get out any pictures. There’s no point in doing that.”
“How much do you know?” Jack questioned.
“Two families killed, in their homes, a month apart. Similar circumstances,” Will said. You and him and passed the newspaper to each other at breakfast. Looked into it.
“Not ‘similar’. The same. You ever think about giving me a call?”
“If I ever thought about it Y/N would divorce me on the spot. But I didn’t think about it,” he admitted.
“You know what it is,” Jack said.
“I didn’t think about calling you because I didn’t want to. I don’t think I’d be all that useful to you, Jack. I never think about it anymore. I don’t believe I could do it now.” Will looked down at the lakeshore and Jack pulled out two pictures from his jacket pocket. He flipped them out on the table. Will looked down at them.
“All dead. This freak seems to be in phase with the moon.” Jack tapped the photos. “Killed the Jacobis in Chicago almost four weeks ago. Full moon. Killed the Leeds family in Buffalo night before last. One day short of a lunar month. If we’re lucky we have a little over three weeks before he does it again.”
“Will!” Your voice carried in from the home. Both men looked over.
“Looks like your luck has run out Jack.” You opened the door to alert Will that dinner was done. Upon seeing Jack you stopped. For a moment you were wordless. You looked down at the two pictures on the table, at Will, and then back at Jack. You recognized those people from the newspapers. You took in a deep breath and held your composure.
“If you want to by any chance keep your head I would recommend picking up those pictures, putting them back in your pocket, getting off my goddamn porch and driving your car back to where you came from,” you said evenly. “And give me that cup of cider.” Jack handed it to you and you snatched it, allowing it to spill on your hand without a reaction. “We need Will’s help. More of these families are going to die,” Jack said.
“I’m not going to let this happen again. I let it happen once.”
“You would sacrifice families lives for the miniscule chance one person gets a little hurt?” You stepped forward to him but Will lifted his hand. You stopped but you were still pretty close.
“If that one person is Will then yes. He’s saved enough lives.”
“He isn’t going anywhere,” Will said. You looked up at him and stepped back.
“Dinner is done,” you said and turned back into the house. Jack and Will shared a look.
“So,” Will started, pushing himself off of the balcony railing. “Joining us for dinner?”
-
You sat beside Will who was at the head of the table. Jack observed the house. It looked simplistic, comforting. On the small shelf by the table were picture frames. Each one of both of you. One when you were fishing, a small fish in front of your face as you laughed. One of Will by the fireplace in the Baltimore house. A couple from the wedding of the two of you looking happier than Jack had ever seen.
Jack had been at the wedding. Will invited him discreetly and because you were so distracted by your own happiness you couldn’t fight. You looked amazing. It had been a long time coming that day and when it did come everyone celebrated. There were even pictures of you, Margot and Alana on that day, cheering to a new beginning.
“People dump small dogs here all the time. I can give away the cute ones, rest, stay around and get to be big ones,” you muttered, petting the dog at your feet.
“You’ve always been a sucker for strays,” Will said.
“You’re not fooling anyone Will.” You stabbed at the plate and took a bite. Will placed a hand on your thigh and kept it there. You put your hand on top of his destreetly.
“Got a nice life here,” Jack said.
“I’m lucky here. I know that,” Will said.
“Surprised there aren’t any kids yet. Bella and I wanted them but with my job we could never fit it in.” The mention of Bella would make you sympathize with him and he knew that. Despite having calmed down a bit you still held up a good face.
“We have a lot of dogs although I can’t say we haven't been trying,” Will said. His face flushed a bit but you were so mad still you couldn’t even be flustered. Will knew there were some things you needed to say to Jack that you couldn't’ say in front of him. “I’m going to take the dogs out to pee.” He tapped your thigh once more before letting his hand leave as he stood up from the dinner table. You nodded numbly as he left, watching him go.
Your gaze went back to Jack.
“When you came into his classroom that day I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt but you failed me Jack. Countless times, you failed me.”
“You left me there to die In Florence.” You smiled.
“A fond memory.” You placed your fork down carefully. “You’re going to take him no matter how much I want to kill you for it.”
“I have to. I’ll make it as easy on him as I can. He’s changed. It’s great you got married.” You nodded.
“He’s better and better. He doesn’t have nightmares anymore.” You paused and collected yourself. “He was really obsessed with the dogs for a while. Now he just takes care of them. He doesn’t talk about them all the time. Doesn’t worry about them.”
“I know what it is I’m asking Y/N. And I wished to God I didn’t have to.”
You smiled slightly at what you were about to say.
“If he decides to go, and that’s a big if, he will not be going alone.” Jack nodded slowly. He figured this would happen. There was nowhere he went you would not follow.
“I know.”
“And you’re willing to deal with me for as long as it takes to get rid of this killer?”
“If I have to.”
-
You sat on your bed. The world was quiet out here. You loved it. Will loved it. It was why you got it together, your first joint home purchase. Will was taking off his shoes and you put your arms around him from behind.
He cuddled his head against yours. He could feel your breath against his skin when you spoke.
“I don’t want you to go, you know that.”
“I don’t imagine you’ll let me go alone,” he whispered. “But you know if I go, I’ll be different when I get back.” You nodded.
“I loved you at your worst and I’ll love you for the rest of the time you’ll let me,” you promised. You kissed him tenderly and his hands rested on your cheek, moving your body with his other hand so that he didn’t have to crane his neck.
-
Darkness moved around the bedroom peacefully. You slept beside Will but he was awake. He looked over at you and then slid out of bed. He pulled open a drawer quietly and took out a letter. The envelope is addressed to Will and Y/N, through the FBI. He hadn’t shown you this yet. He wasn’t sure if he should.
But you had felt him get up. Years of feeling when he was having a nightmare trained you for that kind of moment. You sat up and slid out of bed. Will looked over to you.
“What’s that?”
“I wasn’t going to show it to you.”
You walked over to him and put your arms around him from behind. You looked at the letter and the second you saw the handwriting you froze.
“Is it directed to you?”
“Both of us.”
You took it from his hands and stood up straight.
‘Dear Will and Y/N, we have all found a new life, but our old lives hover in the shadows, like incipient madness. Soon enough, I fear Jack Crawford will come knocking. I encourage Will, as a friend, not to step back through the door he holds open. I don’t doubt Y/N will protest against this ever happening but in case her will is not strong enough I must promise that there is darkness on the other side of the door and madness is waiting.’
You handed him the paper.
“I’m calling the girls from down the street. Their teenagers will watch the dogs.”
-
Will and you looked through the Leeds house. The two of you looked at the bloody remnants of what had happened there. You weren’t there to observe though. You were there for moral support.
His eyes were shut for a while. You watched him stand there. You were silent.
Until he opened his eyes and a deep breath left his lips. You quickly approached him and hugged him tightly. He hugged you back, catching his breath in your arms.
-
“Jimmy you’re the light of my life,” Jack said.
“I know. The print’s smudged. Came off Mrs. Leeds eye. Never did that before. Never would’ve seen it, but it stood out against an eight-ball hemorrhage,” Jimmy explained. You, Will, Jack, Jimmy and Brian all stood in the morgue together. He kept stealing glances at you and Will whose thoughts were elsewhere. “I just...I can’t believe you’re back. I’m surprised you're back.”
“I’m surprised Y/N didn’t drag Jack's dead body in here,” Brian said. He hit Will’s back. “Welcome back.”
-
Jack looked up from his desk to see Will and you standing before him. You were both looking at the information sheet.
“You were asking about the dog. Last night, a vet called the police. Leeds and his oldest boy brought it into the bet the afternoon before they were killed,” Jack explained.
“What’s going to happen to it?” Will asked.
“Please don't worry about the dog.” Will smiled a bit.
“What do you expect me to do?” he whispered. You smiled at him. Ever the sweetie.
“Best you can, that’s all. Busyworks been a narcotic for me sometimes, especially after I quit the booze. For you too, I think,” Jack said.
“There’s something else we can do,” you started. You paused for a moment. You and Will had talked this over just briefly but you understood it was what you needed. “We can wait until Will is driven to it by desperation in the last days before the full moon. Or we could do it now, while it might be of some use,” you finished.
“Is there an opinion you want?” Will nodded slowly.
“We have to see Hannibal.”

1829 Jan., Fri. 2
5 50/60
10 3/4
Trying on shoes and boots – Dawdling over 1 thing or other – Not at my desk till 8 – Then in 3/4 hour wrote 3 pages to M– [Mariana] merely to say we should be glad to see her, and that the last pair of boots from Horby’s is right, and, if they can make another pair exactly like the last, to send them per mail to me here with the bill receipted. Mrs. Duffin will pay it – M– [Mariana] to give her a guinea and explain this –
Will write to the D– [Duffin]’s before leaving England. Even Mrs. Barlow astonished at the so great improvment in my aunt’s health – Should like to know Steph’s opinion of “Mr. Long of consumption–curing celebrity” –
“If we cannot be long enough here, why cannot C– [Charles] meet us at Manchester, and let us go to L– [Lawton, Leeds?] for 10 days? . . . . . I can get you conveyed per private carriage to M– [Manchester]. I myself do not much like their going about in coaches” –
Breakfast at 9 – Then wrote the following no [number] to “Mrs. John Rawson, Ashgrove, Elland”
“My dear Mrs. Rawson – If Monday be tolerably fine, I hope to have the pleasure of calling at Ashgrove, and shall be glad if no Engagement prevents your being at home – I trust you will be good enough to excuse my being so early as ten – May I beg you to give my best compliments and thanks to Mr. Rawson, and to say, I will send over the cart and two or three men early on Monday morning. I am my dear Mrs. Rawson, very truly yours A[nne] Lister, Shibden-hall Friday morning 2 January 1829”
Sent off to the post office at 10 20/60 by Joseph (John’s son) above note and my letter to “Mrs. Lawton, Dr. Belcombe’s Minster yard York” – Went out at 10 20/60 to Throp and the 2 wallers planting in Cunnery plantation – Then about 11 1/2 went to Benjamin’s Ing seeing Mosey come to make the Roles for the single tree guard-posts –  Staid by him about 1 1/2 hour – He could and did make a hole (ascending to my observation) in 1/4 hour, –
A good deal of local news about Mr. Walker – His keeper convicted in £45 penalty for buying 9 young pheasants – Sadly deceived by this man, and 1 of his grooms, and his head farming man – Knows nothing about how work should be done – A bad shot – After taking sight draws back (afraid) and thus loses his aim – This the fault, too, of his keeper –
The new roofing of the house here such a bad job, because the timber of the roof not not properly regulated – Jackman had said he had not fair play – Charles H– [Howarth] knows nothing about roofing – When timbers are cut too light, the building sure to “sway.” Mosey cuts 4 binders out of a deal – at H–x [Halifax] they cut 5 – When my father built the Low farm it “swagged” and he congratulated himself on his foresight in having it so well “dogged” with iron dogs – The timbers were too light –
Ward of Lidget does all the iron work for Mosey’s cart-wheels – A clever man – 1/2 promised to go and see him turn some patent bushes – He has been a great poucher – Abrham Mallinson too, the mason, a bit in the same way – Stands by Ward (the man who has informed against Mr. Walker’s keeper) and therefore will probably lose his job at Crow Nest –
Came home for 2 or 3 minutes at 1 1/4. A little motion – Had Jno [John] for a few minutes shewing me how to make a straw mat to clean one’s feet on – Then about 2 1/2 hours pruning young oaks in the Hall wood – Then with Jno [John] cutting down Well Royde brow hedge (in the morning he was making up gaps in the hedge between Lower brea wood and Mytholm holme) –
Then with the planters. The Cunnery plantation finished planting with oaks this evening. All but a very few that Throp will put in in the morning – Left the men to go home at 5 20/60 – Returned by Benjamin’s. Went to the top of the new bank to warm my feet, and came in at 5 40/60 – Dressed – Dinner at 6 1/4 –
Afterwards wrote all but the 1st line of this page – Mr. and Mrs. W[illiam] Priestley called this morning while I was out – My father and Marian, as they returned from H–x [Halifax], met them – He returned M– [Mariana]’s friendly society rules – Wants to see me after them – As Marian says, differs with me in opinion about them – Mrs. W[illiam] P– [Priestley] left me a pair of nice lamb’s wool double knitted kind of sock to put over my boots and sit and read in –
Feeling sleepy, and my head rather biliously inclined came upstairs at 9 3/4 – Very fine day – Rather frost Fahrenheit 45º in the library about before 9 this morning. Fahrenheit 52º now at 9 3/4 p.m. in my room –

Taking Care Your Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, more commonly known as Yorkies, are one of the most popular toy dog breeds. They make great companions and love attention! They are very affectionate but demand plenty of time and devotion from their owners.
Tumblr media
This breed is only about 100 years old. It was developed in northern England to catch rats that lived in mine shafts. It was also used as a hunting dog that could go into fox and badger burrows. It is not clear, however, how they developed this breed. It is thought that they came from crossing terriers like Skye and Clydesdale with other terriers such as the Leeds, Maltese, Dandie Dinmont and the Black and Tan Manchester. The Yorkie breed was initially much more significant than it is now, but people have selectively bred the smallest dogs to make this dog tiny. It became a fashion dog and was often carried around by women in their bags. Today, the average weight of this dog is seven pounds.
The Yorkie has as very silky, long coat that parts at the spine and grows down either side of the dog. Unlike many other breeds, the hair of this breed does not stop growing. It needs to be cut regularly. It also does not have an undercoat which prevents it from shedding. This is great if you suffer from allergies because you won't have to worry about hair being everywhere. The coat is blue and tan, but puppies are black and tan. As the dog matures, the black becomes blue.
youtube
Although the Yorkie is very small, these dogs seem oblivious of this. They don't seem to be scared of anything! They are very adventurous, energetic, loyal, playful, brave, sweet, loving and intelligent. Yorkies are extremely affectionate with their owners but are often suspicious when strangers come around. If other small animals come around, they can even be aggressive. This breed is very dependent and demanding of its owners. It needs more human attention than most races. This dog makes a great lap dog and enjoys being held all day more than anything.
Tumblr media
The Yorkie doesn't do well with small children but is tolerant of older children if they treat the dog with care. The dog can be territorial and likes to have its own space. Yorkies learn things very quickly but can become willful which sometimes makes training difficult. You must be consistent and firm when training. They also can be difficult to housebreak. This breed does best with praise because they love attention and hate to be ignored.
One of the most demanding requirements of this dog is grooming. It needs to be groomed every day. The coat needs to be brushed, and the eyes and ears need to be cleaned. Also, the teeth should be cleaned regularly. The hair on top of the head is usually tied back with a bow or band.
Because of the Yorkie's small size, it is very fragile and needs to be treated with care. It can get hurt very quickly and must be watched. They are also prone to teeth problems, so you need to make sure you take care of their teeth.
This dog makes a great companion that will give you lots of love. Just make sure you have the time to devote to this dog as they do require lots of your time. If you care for the dog properly, it can live for twelve to fifteen years.

Lyrics containing the term: cheat
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 Cheating is not the most pleasant topic to think about, but if you have been on either side of the cheating equation, you are certainly understood here. Your supportive peers may help if you are struggling in the aftermath of such a cheating incident. You may also find solace — and even some humor — by listening to these songs about cheating and being cheated on. Feeling guilty? Let it out anonymously. We had to include it because it is absolutely gorgeous, and for its unique narration that jumps between the perspectives of the different people involved. However, she seems to realize that is never going to happen. The Wedding Present are a Brit pop band from Leeds with a knack for mixing sentimental feelings and killer guitar riffs. This song, about women cheating on their partners to get revenge after they had been cheated on, has a controversial backstory. You may not know this song, which singer Mary MacGregor released in , but it is more than worth a listen. It is a mournful, honest apology from a cheater to her spurned partner. Fleetwood Mac is an iconic band, as well-known for the tumultuous love lives of their members as they are for the music those affairs inspired. To keep her husband and fellow band member John McVie in the dark, she told him it was written about their dog. The video even ends with him jumping off of an overpass onto a semi-truck to avoid her gang of leather-clad assassins! Now the narrator sits with her regret and hopes her partner will come back. While it may not be the most elegant song about cheating, this mid s hit is sure to warm our inner scene-kid hearts. The video, which depicts a circus wedding gone berserk, climaxes with the groom catching his bride kissing someone outside. Vent about what happened , to understanding peers. This infectious tune from is bound to get stuck in your head. RnB queen Ashanti shows off her impressive voice in this powerful song about finding out your boyfriend has been cheating. In the bop, Lennon Stella sings about a difficult position: being hurt by someone but still mourning the relationship. Country legend Hank Williams originally wrote and recording this song shortly before his death in Rumors swirled about whether or not her husband Jay-Z really was unfaithful and how much of the album was true to their lives. The Best Way To Dry Your Pet At Home
If you have a pet dog but you don't want to take it to a grooming shop, you can use a home-use pet dryer to groom your pet. We know that it is important to bathe your pet at least once a month. You can either do it yourself or hire the services of a professional groomer. The latter will cost you time and money. In this article, we are going to take a look at different ways to dry your pet so you can go with the best option.
Tumblr media
1. Air drying
Although air drying is easier for owners, it can be really dangerous for pets. First of all, it can cause fungus growth under the armpits and between the paw pads of your pets. If you have a long-haired pet, hairdryers can cause skin irritation and matted fur. Moreover, hair drying can cause your pet to roll. As a result, they may dirty themselves and the stuff around them.
2. Towels
Using a towel to dry your pet hair may seem an easy solution, but it has a lot of problems. First of all, most pet owners rub their pets so vigorously that it makes their dogs feel extremely uncomfortable. Again, this can cause skin irritation, tangles, and matted fur. Another inconvenience that you need a lot of towels that needs to be washed and kept in storage after each use.
3. Hair dryers
A hair dryer is a common household item that you can use to dry your pet. However, it can cause more harm than good. For example, some pets are frightened by the loud sound of these units. Apart from this, the hot air emitted by the devices can cause burns. Besides, using a hairdryer is not an effective method either.
Advantages of using a pet dryer
Unlike the methods of drying your pet listed above, using a specially designed pet dryer offers a lot of advantages. Let's discuss some of them.
Bond
First of all, if you spend time drying your dog, it will help you develop a stronger bond with your pet. This is important for the health and wellbeing of you as well as your animal.
Reduces Stress
Since a dog dryer does not make a lot of noise, you can use it to dry your pet in a stress-free environment. Your dog will stay calm throughout the job.
Efficiency
Unlike a hairdryer that uses hot air to dry hair, a pet dryer emits air at room temperature at varying speeds in order to blast water from the hair of your dog. Therefore, there won't be any problem, such as loose fur at the end of the job.
Saves Time
If you bathe and dry your pet using a pet dryer, it can save you a lot of time as you won't need to travel to take your pet to a professional pet groomer. This is another great advantage of using these devices.
Saves money
Since you don't need to drive to a professional groomer, you can save a lot of money on gas and grooming fees.
Dog dryers
Now that you know that using a pet dryer is the best way of drying your pet, let's find out how you should use a pet dryer the right way.
Make sure you are at a safe distance from your pet before using a pet dry
Use a towel to dry the hair of your pet but don't use the towel aggressively
Now, start the dryer at slow speed and gradually increase the speed as you dry the hair of your dog
Don't be aggressive
At the end of the job, offer your dog something to eat or play with for positive reinforcement
Use Force drying technique
If you're looking for a good pet dryer, you can use XPOWER's B-53 and/or B-55 pet dryer. The latter is a 2-in-1 unit and is a little bit stronger. Since they don't feature a heating element, they are the best choice for pet groomers. Instead of using hot air, they use normal air to blast water of the coat of your pet. You can also use these units to straighten the hair of your pet and still save half the time. This is the reason why a pet dryer is the best choice.

So don't hesitate – to give your pet the love it deserves by seeking a reliable pet salon in Leeds for all their grooming needs!

Dog Almost Dies From Human Hair Dye — What Does That Tell You?
By Dr. Mercola
Just because a product is sold over-the-counter in stores, it does not mean it’s safe. There are nearly 13,000 chemicals found in personal care products sold in the U.S., and only 10 percent have been tested for safety. To compound the problem, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has the ability to regulate personal care products only after a product has demonstrated harm.1
Additionally, the FDA has handed over the responsibility of ensuring public safety to manufacturers whose financial health is dependent upon selling their products, and those manufacturers are not legally responsible to report adverse effects to the FDA.2 What this means is that while you may be health conscious, body lotions, deodorants, soaps or shampoos you use may have harmful chemicals even if the product is labeled nontoxic and safe.
The average American woman uses 12 personal care products daily, containing an average of 168 chemicals.3 Men are exposed to nearly half that amount, but teens, who average 17 personal care products a day, are exposed to an even greater number.
This everyday exposure to toxic chemicals has been associated with a number of health conditions, including early ovarian dysfunction and menopause that may lead to early development of heart disease and osteoporosis. While personal care products may be hazardous for you, using these products on your pet may have lethal consequences.
Violet Demonstrates Dangers of Hair Dye
A 5-pound Maltese mixed dog named Violet recently brought to light the extreme danger owners put their dogs in when attempting to dye their fur using hair dye meant for people.4 The dog was brought to the Pinellas County Animal Services to be treated for her injuries, which included badly burned skin. Once at the facility, the staff washed as much of the chemicals off the dog as possible. Since dogs instinctively lick their coat, there was concern Violet may have suffered internal burns as well.
The next day she was put under anesthesia to have her coat shaved off. It was only at this point the staff recognized the extent of the damage to the dog’s skin, which started to slough off after being shaved.5 The hospital staff bandaged her, gave her antibiotics and intravenous fluids but was unsure if she would make it through the first night. After three months of arduous treatment, including honey, pain medication, continued antibiotics and bandage changes, Violet appears to have made a good recovery.
Violet is now in the care of a new owner who has experience grooming pets. Dyeing animal fur is not only stressful to the animal, but also increases the risk of chemical burns and allergic reactions, in much the same way these chemicals may affect you or your child.
Children and Adults at Risk Using Hair Dye
Many adults who use hair dye seek to cover gray hair or add highlights to their locks. In Europe, hair dye manufacturers warn their products are not designed to be used on children younger than 16.6 However, when a 12-year-old went undercover to test if salons would refuse hair treatment based on warnings, just one of 17 salons told her she was too young to have the color applied. Shirley Davis, industry expert and the Hair Council’s7 representative for Wales, U.K., viewed the results of the secret filming, saying:8
"I am absolutely appalled, they should've all said I'm sorry you're not 16, we can't do it and sent her away. Everyone within the industry is trying to professionalize it and we have salons that are actually contemplating coloring a young person's hair. If they did something with this young girl and she had an anaphylactic shock she could die — that's how serious it is. You have to patch test over-16 and under 16 it's a no-no."
People have been using hair dye to change their look for centuries. The synthetic dye process has been used for decades and continues to remain in practice. When you apply a synthetic-based hair dye, you first combine two chemicals that are not colored, in order to produce a chemical reaction that colors your hair.9
Early in development, hydrogen peroxide was used as a bleaching agent to extinguish your natural color and force a reaction between paraphenylenediamine (PPD) molecules, the basis of many permanent hair dyes on the market today. Other methods have been proposed, but many manufacturers continue to produce hair color with either PPD or a related compound, p-aminophenol.10
One of the issues with how dyes work is in the oxidative stress they place on your hair follicles and skin. The color molecules created in a chemical reaction become electron scavengers as they produce brown coloring. The need for electrons can’t be completely filled by the chemicals so the reaction pulls electrons from your skin. This is the basis for allergic reactions and potential DNA damage.11
David Lewis, Ph.D., emeritus professor at the University of Leeds in the U.K., acted as a consultant for cosmetic companies for years until his discomfort in using the same oxidative formula in hair dye triggered the launch of a company aimed at developing safer consumer products.
Lewis worries the beauty industry has too much power over the safety of consumer products and commented on the process that continues to be used in hair dye, saying,12 “Now, I know a lot about dyes and dye stuffs in the textile industry. We would never dream of using this on textiles. Primitive, archaic, all these things come to mind. Why do they persist on putting it on human heads?”
Progressive Sensitization Increases Your Risk of Injury and Illness
After researchers found women who used permanent hair dye once a month were at a much higher risk of developing bladder cancer,13 the European Union (EU) took notice and recommended a reassessment of the safety regulations of distributed hair dye. During the past decade, the Science Committee on Consumer Products (SCCP), a commission mandated by the European Commission to evaluate the safety of consumer products, has evaluated a number of hair dye ingredients.14
Their results show sensitivity to the product ingredients is becoming more prevalent. The EU categorized 27 ingredients as those that are more likely to produce sensitive reactions in users. Initially these chemicals may not produce a reaction, but over time you have a higher risk of suffering skin reactions, even anaphylactic shock leading to death.15
The SCCP evaluation also led to the ban of 22 chemicals used in hair dye in the EU, with more expected in the coming years. Operating differently from the FDA, which bans chemicals only after reports of illness, damage or disease, the European Commission bans chemicals when there is any doubt of safety. In 2006, Gunter Verheugen was the European Union Commission vice-president.
He made a statement in a press release regarding the banning of those 22 chemicals, saying,16 “Substances for which there is no proof that they are safe will disappear from the market. Our high safety standards do not only protect EU consumers, they also give legal certainty to European cosmetics industry.”
Hair Dye May Raise Risk of Breast Cancer and More
Bladder cancer and hypersensitive reactions to the chemicals in hair dye are only two of the reactions women may suffer when using synthetic hair dye. A study at Rutgers University evaluated the use of hair dye in nearly 4,300 African-American and Caucasian women, both with and without a diagnosis of breast cancer.17 The researchers were particularly interested in hair straighteners, dye and conditioners containing placenta or cholesterol.
They discovered African-American women who used dark brown or black hair dyes had a 51 percent increased risk of developing breast cancer and a 72 percent increased risk of developing estrogen receptor positive breast cancer.18 Among Caucasian women, chemical relaxers and straighteners were associated with a 74 percent increased risk of breast cancer. This study demonstrated a link between darker colored hair dye and breast cancer.
However, the National Cancer Institute already states there are over 5,000 known chemicals in hair dyes, some of which are in fact known carcinogens.19 An estimated one-third of women over the age of 18 are using hair dye, exposing themselves and their families to the chemicals in these dyes. Epidemiologist Tamarra James-Todd, Ph.D., a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, who was not involved in the study, told Reuters:20
“I would be concerned about darker hair dye and hair straighteners. We should really think about using things in moderation and really try to think about being more natural. Just because something is on the market does not necessarily mean it’s safe for us.”
This study included the largest population of African-American women examining breast cancer risk and dark hair dye. The research team wrote of about previous studies that had shown an association between long-term use of dark hair dye and a fourfold increased risk of fatal Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and fatal multiple myeloma, as well as bladder cancer.21,22
Get the Lead Out
Women and pets are not the only groups who experience problems with hair dye. Many men may be inadvertently exposing themselves to dangerous lead levels when they use hair dye with lead acetate, used in products designed to gradually reduce the appearance of gray hair.23 Several consumer groups, including the Environmental Working Group (EWG), Earthjustice, Chicago School of Law, Breast Cancer Fund and the Environmental Defense Fund have filed a petition with the FDA requesting a ban on lead acetate.24
Prolonged exposure to lead may lead to brain damage, neurotoxicity and nerve damage. While the FDA approved the use of lead acetate in 1980,25 the chemical has been banned in the EU and Canada for almost a decade.
Results of studies assessing the safety of lead acetate done by American and Canadian researchers are vastly different. While the U.S. study found “no significant increase in blood levels of lead” in the trial subjects, and that “the lead was not shown to be absorbed into the body through such use,” Health Canada stated:
“The results showed that relatively small incremental exposures, such as those which would occur with regular use of hair dyes containing lead acetate, could result in the accumulation of potentially harmful body burdens of lead.”
Personal Care Products Hazardous to Your Health
Although many studies have demonstrated risks associated with using personal care products, from deodorant to body lotions, the Personal Care Products Council, an industry trade group, continues to counter these studies with statements such as:26
"Those who use cosmetics and personal care products can feel confident that they are protected by a combination of strong federal safety regulations enacted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the science-based safety assessments from the companies that manufacture these products.”
Unfortunately, there are no strong federal safety regulations and many independent science-based safety assessments do not concur with industry-funded studies. To discover more about the personal care products you use in your home, search the EWG Skin Deep Database.27 You can also find more information in my previous article, “Dangerous Cosmetics Causing Major Harm to Skin.”
Health Threats to Salon Workers Even Greater
A study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology, researchers found hairdressers had a higher than average risk of cancer than the general population for lung, larynx and bladder cancers and multiple myeloma.28
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO), concurs that hairdressers and barbers work in conditions that are potentially carcinogenic.29 Individuals working in nail salons may suffer some of the same health conditions, including dizziness, cancer, headaches and asthma.30
Reports of adverse health conditions in salon workers have included reproductive problems, skin conditions and dermatitis.31 Salon workers absorb many of the toxic chemicals through their skin, or inhale fumes from hair dyes, hair sprays and other products into their lungs.
In their report, “Beauty and It’s Beast,”32 Women’s Voices of the Earth detailed some of the issues and challenges faced by salon workers, including exposure to acetone, toluene, ammonia and methyl methacrylate in hair dyes and bleaches, permanent wave solutions and acrylic nail products.
The report documented an increased risk of delivering low-birth weight babies, suffering miscarriages or delivering children with cleft palates and other birth defects. Cosmetologists also experience a higher risk of depression compared to other jobs and have a greater risk of Alzheimer’s disease, pre-senile dementia and motor neuron disease, compared to people working in other job positions.33
Natural Hair Health and Coloring
You don’t have to use synthetic conditioners, shampoos, sprays or dyes as one of the best products may already be in your kitchen cabinet. Coconut oil is not only beneficial to your health and beauty when taken internally, it can also be used topically on your skin and hair. Discover how to use it to detangle your hair, as a deep conditioner and even as a base for natural hair dye in my previous article, “How to Use Coconut Oil For Hair Health.”

Dog Almost Dies From Human Hair Dye — What Does That Tell You? Dr. Mercola By Dr. Mercola Just because a product is sold over-the-counter in stores, it does not mean it’s safe. There are nearly 13,000 chemicals found in personal care products sold in the U.S., and only 10 percent have been tested for safety. To compound the problem, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has the ability to regulate personal care products only after a product has demonstrated harm.1 Additionally, the FDA has handed over the responsibility of ensuring public safety to manufacturers whose financial health is dependent upon selling their products, and those manufacturers are not legally responsible to report adverse effects to the FDA.2 What this means is that while you may be health conscious, body lotions, deodorants, soaps or shampoos you use may have harmful chemicals even if the product is labeled nontoxic and safe. Violet Demonstrates Dangers of Hair Dye A 5-pound Maltese mixed dog named Violet recently brought to light the extreme danger owners put their dogs in when attempting to dye their fur using hair dye meant for people.4 The dog was brought to the Pinellas County Animal Services to be treated for her injuries, which included badly burned skin. Children and Adults at Risk Using Hair Dye Many adults who use hair dye seek to cover gray hair or add highlights to their locks. In Europe, hair dye manufacturers warn their products are not designed to be used on children younger than 16.6 However, when a 12-year-old went undercover to test if salons would refuse hair treatment based on warnings, just one of 17 salons told her she was too young to have the color applied. Shirley Davis, industry expert and the Hair Council’s7 representative for Wales, U.K., viewed the results of the secret filming, saying:8 "I am absolutely appalled, they should've all said I'm sorry you're not 16, we can't do it and sent her away. Everyone within the industry is trying to professionalize it and we have salons that are actually contemplating coloring a young person's hair. If they did something with this young girl and she had an anaphylactic shock she could die — that's how serious it is. You have to patch test over-16 and under 16 it's a no-no." People have been using hair dye to change their look for centuries. The synthetic dye process has been used for decades and continues to remain in practice. When you apply a synthetic-based hair dye, you first combine two chemicals that are not colored, in order to produce a chemical reaction that colors your hair.9 Early in development, hydrogen peroxide was used as a bleaching agent to extinguish your natural color and force a reaction between paraphenylenediamine (PPD) molecules, the basis of many permanent hair dyes on the market today. Other methods have been proposed, but many manufacturers continue to produce hair color with either PPD or a related compound, p-aminophenol.10 One of the issues with how dyes work is in the oxidative stress they place on your hair follicles and skin. The color molecules created in a chemical reaction become electron scavengers as they produce brown coloring. The need for electrons can’t be completely filled by the chemicals so the reaction pulls electrons from your skin. This is the basis for allergic reactions and potential DNA damage.11 David Lewis, Ph.D., emeritus professor at the University of Leeds in the U.K., acted as a consultant for cosmetic companies for years until his discomfort in using the same oxidative formula in hair dye triggered the launch of a company aimed at developing safer consumer products. Why do they persist on putting it on human heads?” Progressive Sensitization Increases Your Risk of Injury and Illness After researchers found women who used permanent hair dye once a month were at a much higher risk of developing bladder cancer,13 the European Union (EU) took notice and recommended a reassessment of the safety regulations of distributed hair dye. During the past decade, the Science Committee on Consumer Products (SCCP), a commission mandated by the European Commission to evaluate the safety of consumer products, has evaluated a number of hair dye ingredients.14 Their results show sensitivity to the product ingredients is becoming more prevalent. The EU categorized 27 ingredients as those that are more likely to produce sensitive reactions in users. Initially these chemicals may not produce a reaction, but over time you have a higher risk of suffering skin reactions, even anaphylactic shock leading to death.15 The SCCP evaluation also led to the ban of 22 chemicals used in hair dye in the EU, with more expected in the coming years. Our high safety standards do not only protect EU consumers, they also give legal certainty to European cosmetics industry.” Hair Dye May Raise Risk of Breast Cancer and More Bladder cancer and hypersensitive reactions to the chemicals in hair dye are only two of the reactions women may suffer when using synthetic hair dye. Chan School of Public Health, who was not involved in the study, told Reuters:20 “I would be concerned about darker hair dye and hair straighteners. We should really think about using things in moderation and really try to think about being more natural. Just because something is on the market does not necessarily mean it’s safe for us.” This study included the largest population of African-American women examining breast cancer risk and dark hair dye. The research team wrote of about previous studies that had shown an association between long-term use of dark hair dye and a fourfold increased risk of fatal Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and fatal multiple myeloma, as well as bladder cancer.21,22 Get the Lead Out Women and pets are not the only groups who experience problems with hair dye. Many men may be inadvertently exposing themselves to dangerous lead levels when they use hair dye with lead acetate, used in products designed to gradually reduce the appearance of gray hair.23 Several consumer groups, including the Environmental Working Group (EWG), Earthjustice, Chicago School of Law, Breast Cancer Fund and the Environmental Defense Fund have filed a petition with the FDA requesting a ban on lead acetate.24 Prolonged exposure to lead may lead to brain damage, neurotoxicity and nerve damage. While the FDA approved the use of lead acetate in 1980,25 the chemical has been banned in the EU and Canada for almost a decade. Results of studies assessing the safety of lead acetate done by American and Canadian researchers are vastly different. While the U.S. study found “no significant increase in blood levels of lead” in the trial subjects, and that “the lead was not shown to be absorbed into the body through such use,” Health Canada stated: “The results showed that relatively small incremental exposures, such as those which would occur with regular use of hair dyes containing lead acetate, could result in the accumulation of potentially harmful body burdens of lead.” Personal Care Products Hazardous to Your Health Although many studies have demonstrated risks associated with using personal care products, from deodorant to body lotions, the Personal Care Products Council, an industry trade group, continues to counter these studies with statements such as:26 "Those who use cosmetics and personal care products can feel confident that they are protected by a combination of strong federal safety regulations enacted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the science-based safety assessments from the companies that manufacture these products.” Unfortunately, there are no strong federal safety regulations and many independent science-based safety assessments do not concur with industry-funded studies. To discover more about the personal care products you use in your home, search the EWG Skin Deep Database.27 You can also find more information in my previous article, “Dangerous Cosmetics Causing Major Harm to Skin.” Health Threats to Salon Workers Even Greater A study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology, researchers found hairdressers had a higher than average risk of cancer than the general population for lung, larynx and bladder cancers and multiple myeloma.28 The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO), concurs that hairdressers and barbers work in conditions that are potentially carcinogenic.29 Individuals working in nail salons may suffer some of the same health conditions, including dizziness, cancer, headaches and asthma.30 Reports of adverse health conditions in salon workers have included reproductive problems, skin conditions and dermatitis.31 Salon workers absorb many of the toxic chemicals through their skin, or inhale fumes from hair dyes, hair sprays and other products into their lungs. 3-Eleven Now 10-4 For New Residents
The latest Catholic Church parking lot to become a skyscraper is now open for business.  3Eleven, at 311 West Illinois Street, has begun accepting move-ins
3Eleven (Courtesy of The John Buck Company)
The skyscraper, designed by West Town’s FitzGerald Associates for The Loop’s The John Buck Company, features 245 homes across 25 stories.  It’s also immediately next door to Assumption Catholic Church, so at least the neighbors are quiet.  Except for weddings.  Please, no crashing.
Interiors are by Juan Gabriel Moreno Architects. And the building has scored LEED Silver certification, to soothe your inner tree-hugger.
The ground floor has 3,100 square feet of retail space.  The Buck people expect to announce tenants soon, which will be nice for this under-retailed corner of River North.  Hopefully it won’t be yet another “currency exchange.”
More deets in the press release following the pics.  You know the drill.

The exterior of 3Eleven was designed by Chicago-based FitzGerald Associates Architects while the interior was designed by Juan Gabriel Moreno Architects. The interior focuses on a sophisticated graphic identity that pays homage to the excitement and energy of new construction occurring in Chicago, while patterns and colors inspired by the 1960’s optical art and psychedelic eras tie in the past. The project’s ‘Get Animated’ advertising campaign, illustrated by Janine Rewell, complements the building’s aesthetic, as well as the design-focused River North neighborhood.
“We are extremely excited to deliver 3Eleven to the luxury multifamily marketplace. The property’s location, design and amenities create a differentiated offering for downtown Chicago residents,” says Chad Broderick, Senior Vice President at The John Buck Company.
Tenants of the pet-friendly building have access to a wide range of amenities, from the outdoor rooftop pool and work spaces, to the advanced fitness center featuring on-demand video workouts, an outdoor theatre and viewing lawn, fire pits, indoor dog run with grooming stations and a resident lounge with a demonstration kitchen and wine storage.
