101DS Drawing a Day Challenge 16/18.

Having a second player is certainly of the perks to having a sibling around your age, as long as one of them don't ragequit or accidentally yank out the link cable.

And yes, as I'm sure some of you can tell, this is a month late. This was an idea for a drawing I had floating around for a while and decided to go along with while I was doing the monthly challenge.

As a compromise though, I can use this as opportunity to make an announcement for something that, hopefully, won't come late - the 101DS fanfic that I've been working on, Starting Over, will be updated soon after a year-long dry spell. Expect a new chapter to come either this week or next week. A link to the new chapter will be posted here as confirmation.

Okay, so... Fergus seems to be a bit off today, my dedicated pups!

He's acting of bit a... goofball? Prancing around, being all silly and stuff, and cuddling the Dalmatians? Either Fergus is all happy-go-lucky today, or he's drunk way too much root beer...

First Tumblr post of 2024, and it's my last drawing for @notsoblackandwhite101 - Cottagecore Dolly (featuring Diesel):

Both characters were unused for the grid aesthetic Drawcember, which gave me the grand ol' opportunity to utilize them, and this was the perfect theme for me to do that. I also decided to go the extra mile of adding a backdrop and combine ink and paint pens to color it, with the basis being the OG Dalmatian family's farm home (which would be appropriate for me to give out one of my little headcanons that the Radcliffe/Dalmatian family farm would later become the 101DS Dalmatian family's vacation home).

For Dolly's attire, I went with a flower crown as the head accessory, a pink collar with a strawberry emblem, a pinafore dress representing the colors of Dolly's original collar, and in her muzzle is a watering can shaped like a dog. Since gardening does require a good amount of digging, Diesel is there too and he is willing to help out.

This comic took one month in the making. The idea bloomed in my head when I was feeling sad and I visualized dolly, feeling abandoned in the rain until dylan come to meet her. So it was kind of a vent at first but as days passed I've been delayed by mental health issues and multiple mental breakdown, the comic kinda lost his meaning. Still, I'm happy I got to make it even though it won't reach the amount of attention I wish it did on this platform.
