I got my power bill taken care of thank god but!!! I really need to ask if anyone can throw me 20$ for a bag of cat food. So, things are rough.

Basically: I'm being sued for credit card debt (still waiting on legal aid to get back to me about my options). My account is overdrafted and I can't even pay for postage to file an answer to the suit. I work but I get paid biweekly and won't be paid until 4/11, and Rent and bills are due.

I don't like asking for help, but in all honestly I've taken so many hits financially in the last year or so that it's starting to look like i'll never recover or be able to pay off any of my debts, (the one i'm being sued for and my other credit card debt, medical debt, ect.) So, I'm asking for help because the financial burden and the ensuing stress are eating me alive. I wanted to try and claw my way out on my own, but it's just gotten more and more impossible as more stuff gets heaped on me.

If you can't help, no pressure, but shares are very much appreciated.

Please help my Trans friend, B, get her car back!!

The dealership she got her used car from a few months ago just let her know that she actually owed more than what she thought for each payment and towed her car. (supposedly they tried to contact her about it but she never got the letter)

She had to raise $3000 in two weeks and she still needs $1000 in the next few days just to get her car back. That's not including the insurance she'll have to get put back on it and the fee they're charging her for the tow truck, but right now we're just focusing on getting that $1000 to get the car back.

Official situation update 10/12/23

my friend Musa and I have been corresponding with GFM in the process of recovering my account with his fundraiser on it by providing documents and answering questions but it's still up in the air if it'll work and it's moving slowly.

Musa and his family live homeless in Gambia and are constantly struggling to scrape together enough money to eat, get medical care and other necessities. The family has faced multiple injuries and a death in the past months and Musa just now had a near encounter with the law enforcement there because when my GFM got shut down a vital donation became unavailable and he was unable to pay off a debt in time. This last situation was mitigated by the generous help of you folks here on tumblr - he has his freedom after paying off the food he owed money on, but that food has since run out so I'm returning here while GFM remains unavailable to continue advocating for this family.

Minimum immediate goal is $25 if you're sending it to my c/sh/pp so I can send $20 via moneygram ($5 dollar debit fee when sending for cash pickup); I need to see if remitly works for me bc the fees are slightly cheaper but last I tried they were having some kind of issue with the ID upload. If you want to go this route my c/sh/pp is $Asher07 label it "for Musa" or smth like that

Otherwise and preferably DM me so I can provide you with the transfer info for either MoneyGram or Remitly so you can send money directly to Musa's family.

I'm setting the starting goal at $25 as a minimum but a bigger d0nation means more food so if you're able to give more comfortably it would be a huge help. I have been helping Musa out for over a year now and the gfm was slow but there were typically a few donations a month so while we work to get it back up I'm going to be using tumblr as the main way to seek aid for my friend.

I don't usually make a lot of personal posts on here, both because of a lack of engagement and because I try to keep my private life just that - private. But circumstances have gotten gradually worse, and searching for a job in a crumbling market has made this post necessary.

My lovely cat, Apollo, is currently very ill. We have taken him to the vet and the cause of his sickness is still unknown. Already, my mom and I have spent around $1,000 just for tests and treatment, but it is likely that he will end up undergoing some kind of surgery, a treatment that can be a minimum of $800. I understand times are tough now for everyone, and especially in regards to the numerous posts going around asking for donations. But please, I ask, if you can spare any money at all, even just $1, it would help me out so, so much as I try to balance medical bills, rent, and food for the next few weeks.

Car is at risk of combustion, accidents and state fines - the engine is dry, tags & insurance are expired while brakes are unsafe! They rely on their vehicle to have access to food banks, healthcare,...

Landlord is unresponsive to property management, which puts their housing security at risk! They have no groceries or supplies to prepare for sudden eviction, and if this repair goal goes unmet, they will have no place to go too.
