Natural Treatment for Blocked Fallopian Tube
Tumblr media
Blocked fallopian tubes can be a cause of infertility in women, as they prevent the egg from traveling down the tube and meeting the sperm. It's important to note that while some natural treatments may be suggested, scientific evidence supporting their effectiveness is often limited. Always consult with a healthcare professional before attempting any treatment, and consider conventional medical options for a comprehensive approach.
Here are some natural approaches that some people explore:
Herbal Remedies:
Dong Quai: This herb is sometimes used in traditional Chinese medicine and may help promote blood circulation. However, its efficacy in unblocking fallopian tubes is not scientifically proven.
Turmeric: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric might be beneficial. Some studies suggest it could help reduce inflammation, but more research is needed.
Ginger: Like turmeric, ginger has anti-inflammatory properties. It's often used in various natural remedies, but evidence specific to fallopian tube blockages is lacking.
Castor Oil Packs:
Applying castor oil packs to the lower abdomen is believed to stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory systems, promoting detoxification and reducing inflammation. However, evidence supporting its effectiveness for unblocking fallopian tubes is anecdotal.
Fertility Massage:
Some practitioners offer fertility massage techniques that claim to break up adhesions and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs. While massage can be relaxing, its effectiveness for unblocking fallopian tubes is not well-established.
Acupuncture:
Acupuncture is an alternative therapy that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body. Some people believe it can help improve fertility, but scientific evidence is inconclusive.
Lifestyle Changes:
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management, may contribute to overall reproductive health.
It's crucial to approach these natural treatments with caution and under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Additionally, suppose you want a natural treatment for the blocked fallopian tube. In that case, it's important to consult with a reproductive specialist who can conduct diagnostic tests, such as an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) or laparoscopy, to accurately assess the condition and recommend appropriate treatment options. In some cases, surgical intervention may be necessary to address blockages.

Versatile Takeaways Of Herbal Medication For Conquering Health Challenges
Tumblr media
In a world where modern medicine dominates, the age-old practice of herbal medication is making a remarkable comeback. Herbal remedies have been used for centuries in various cultures to address a wide range of health issues. Today, people are increasingly turning to herbal medicine to complement their conventional treatments or as a natural alternative. The versatility of herbal medication in addressing health problems is one of its most compelling attributes.
In this blog, we will explore the versatile takeaways of herbal medication for overcoming health issues.
Holistic Approach to Health
One of the primary benefits of herbal medication is its holistic approach to health. Rather than just targeting specific symptoms or diseases, herbal remedies aim to balance and strengthen the body’s overall health. Many herbs work on multiple systems simultaneously, promoting overall wellness. For example, adaptogenic herbs like Ashwagandha help the body adapt to stress, boost the immune system, and enhance cognitive function, making them valuable for a wide range of health issues.
Reduced Side Effects
Unlike many pharmaceutical drugs, herbal remedies often come with fewer side effects. This is because they are derived from natural sources and are typically gentler on the body. While it’s essential to consult with a qualified herbalist or healthcare professional before using herbs, the lower risk of adverse reactions makes herbal medication an attractive option for those seeking relief from various health issues without worrying about uncomfortable side effects.
Versatility in Treating Common Ailments
Herbal medicine can address a lot of common health issues, from minor complaints to more significant concerns. Some versatile herbs and their applications include:
1. Ginger: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger can alleviate nausea, aid digestion, and reduce muscle pain. 2. Peppermint: Peppermint is excellent for soothing digestive issues, relieving headaches, and alleviating respiratory congestion. 3. Turmeric: With its potent anti-inflammatory compound curcumin, turmeric can help manage chronic pain, reduce inflammation, and improve joint health. 4. Lavender: Lavender is a natural remedy for reducing anxiety, promoting relaxation, and improving sleep quality.
Supporting Chronic Conditions
Herbal medication is not limited to addressing minor ailments. Many herbs can provide support for chronic conditions, either on their own or in conjunction with conventional treatments.
Herbal Medication for Women’s Health
Women often turn to herbal medicine to address various aspects of women’s health, such as menstrual issues, menopause symptoms, and fertility concerns. Herbs like Dong Quai, Black Cohosh, and Chaste Tree Berries have been used for centuries to support women’s reproductive health and hormonal balance.
Herbal Medication for Skin Health
Skin issues like acne, eczema, and psoriasis can also benefit from herbal medication. Calendula, chamomile, and aloe vera are known for their soothing and healing properties, making them valuable for topical applications to alleviate skin irritations and promote healthy skin.
Winding-up
The versatile takeaways of herbal medication for overcoming health issues are abundant and continue to gain recognition in the realm of modern healthcare. As more people seek natural and holistic alternatives to conventional medicine, herbal remedies offer a valuable option. However, it’s crucial to remember that herbal medicine is not a one-size-fits-all solution, consulting with Shifakhana, a prominent Wellness center in Pune, to ensure safe and effective treatment. : Herbal medicine: Healing with natural powers encompasses of a rich history and ever-expanding body of research that stands as a compelling choice for those looking to achieve and maintain optimal health naturally.

Natural Fertility Support
Tumblr media
Natural fertility support for women can encompass various lifestyle practices, dietary choices, and herbal remedies that aim to enhance reproductive health and increase the chances of conceiving. While it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized guidance, here are some natural approaches that women can consider:
Healthy Diet: Maintaining a nutritious and well-balanced diet is crucial for fertility. Focus on consuming a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Include foods rich in antioxidants (such as berries, leafy greens, and nuts) to combat oxidative stress, which can impact fertility. Avoid or minimize processed foods, excessive caffeine, alcohol, and trans fats, as they may negatively affect fertility.
Adequate Hydration: Staying properly hydrated is essential for overall health and fertility. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support hormonal balance, optimize cervical mucus production, and maintain proper body functions.
Regular Exercise: Engaging in moderate exercise on a regular basis can support fertility. Exercise helps maintain a healthy weight, improves circulation, reduces stress, and enhances overall well-being. However, avoid excessive exercise or strenuous workouts, as they may negatively impact reproductive function.
Stress Management: High levels of stress can interfere with hormonal balance and reproductive function. Explore stress management techniques like yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, or engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Prioritize self-care and create a balanced lifestyle that includes time for relaxation and leisure activities.
Herbal Remedies: Certain herbs are believed to support female fertility. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional or a qualified herbalist before using any herbs to ensure safety and appropriate dosages. Some herbs commonly used to support fertility include red raspberry leaf, chasteberry (vitex), maca root, dong quai, and evening primrose oil. These herbs are thought to promote hormonal balance, regulate menstrual cycles, and enhance fertility.
Maintain a Healthy Weight: Both overweight and underweight conditions can impact fertility. Strive to maintain a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Excess body fat can disrupt hormone levels, while being underweight can affect ovulation and menstrual regularity. Aim for a weight that is within the healthy range for your body type.
Track Menstrual Cycle: Understanding your menstrual cycle and identifying your fertile window can increase the chances of conception. Charting basal body temperature, monitoring cervical mucus changes, and using ovulation predictor kits can help pinpoint the most fertile days for timed intercourse.
Remember, everyone's fertility journey is unique, and natural approaches may not be suitable for everyone. If you're facing fertility challenges or have underlying health conditions, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional specializing in fertility to receive appropriate guidance and support. They can provide personalized recommendations based on your specific needs and help you navigate the best path toward achieving your fertility goals.

The Top 5 Supplements For Male Menopause Introduction Many people don’t realize it, but menopause is a natural process that happens to every woman as they reach their mid-30s. While there are many different symptoms associated with menopause, the top 5 supplements for male menopause should be at the top of your list. If you’re experiencing any of the following symptoms, consider taking one or more of the following supplements: fatigue, mood swings, difficulty sleeping, dry skin, and hot flashes. Each supplement is unique in its own way and each has been shown to help improve certain symptoms of menopause. By taking the right supplements for you, you can boost your health and reduce your overall symptoms. Medhealth Online Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a treatment for low testosterone levels in men. This therapy can help men feel better and have improved sex lives. TRT is most often used when testosterone levels are below 600 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). TRT is not recommended for men with heart disease, liver problems, or prostate cancer. Before starting TRT, your doctor will perform a blood test to confirm that you actually have low testosterone levels. If you are age 45 or older, your doctor may also check your blood pressure and cholesterol. You will also need to complete a questionnaire about your health and lifestyle habits. Depending on the type of TRT prescribed, you will usually receive injections every two to four weeks. The amount of testosterone injected depends on your age and medical history. Some patients also use testosterone cream, gels, or patches. Progesterone Replacement Therapy (PRT) Progesterone is often prescribed to women as a fertility drug or to help with symptoms of menopause like hot flashes and vaginal dryness. But there's increasing evidence that progesterone can also be helpful for menopausal symptoms in men. PRT involves taking high doses of progesterone every day. The hope is that the hormone will help reduce symptoms like hot flashes, decreased sex drive, mood swings, and loss of muscle mass. There's currently no good evidence that PRT is more effective than placebo (a dummy pill) in treating these symptoms, but it may be an important option for some people. There are a few potential risks associated with PRT, including an increase in the risk of blood clots and heart problems. So it's important to talk to your doctor about whether PRT is right for you before starting treatment. Herbal Supplements There are many different herbal supplements offered as remedies for male menopause, but which ones work best? A study published in the journal Phytotherapy Research found that a combination of five different herbs lowered hot flashes by more than 50%. The most effective of these was saw palmetto extract, which reduced hot flashes by 75%. Another study published in the journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine found that a mixture of four herbs (dong quai, echinacea, ginger, and licorice) was just as effective as Saw Palmetto extract in reducing menopausal symptoms. However, this study had a smaller sample size and required participants to take multiple supplements daily. Therefore, it's important to speak with your physician before starting any new supplement regimen. Conclusion Looking to improve your symptoms during male menopause? Here are the top five supplements for you!

Very large amounts of powdered cinnamon can cause poisoning. Symptoms begin with central nervous system sedation, characterized by sleepiness & depression. This is followed by tachycardia & stimulation of the vasomotor center, which causes increases in intestinal peristalsis, respiration & diuresis.
RECIPES:
The flavor of cinnamon complements cooked apples, fresh fruit, fruit punches or mulled wine & is also very tasty in spice cakes & cookies.
Simmer Cinnamon sticks with milk & honey for a warming beverage.
Mix 1–3 tsp of ground Cinnamon powder in 1 cup of hot water. Let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain & drink to cure diarrhea.
For Cough:
Make a tea with ½ tsp ginger, ¼ tsp cinnamon & 1 clove per 1 cup of water. Sweeten with 1 tsp honey & drink.
Expectorant Cough Syrup:
120 ml water 120 ml honey 1–2 tsp dried mullein leaves 1–2 tsp dried white horehound herb 1–2 tsp dried rosemary leaves 1–2 tsp powdered or chopped cinnamon bark 1–2 tsp dried chopped ginger 1 pinch of cayenne Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil, then lower the heat. Simmer, uncovered, until the mixture has reduced by about one-half. Remove from the heat & strain. Cool to room temperature. Take 1 tsp as often as every 2 hours. Store in the refrigerator.
Cinnamon & Scallion Tea for Cold & Flu:
Finely chop one scallion. Put it into a teacup & add 2 slices of raw ginger & dash of powdered cinnamon. Fill the cup with hot water, let the herbs steep & drink the tea. Cinnamon & ginger induce sweating, while scallion clears sinuses.
Cinnamon for diabetes 2:
Take at least 1/2 teaspoon a day, which is critical to “soften” the cell membranes. Cinnamon mimics insulin, thus it may lower your need for insulin immediately.
Cinnamon-Ginger Tea for Menstrual Difficulties:
1 tsp chopped cinnamon bark 1 tsp chopped dried ginger or freshly grated ginger root Pour 1 cup boiling water over the herbs. Cover & let steep for ca 30 minutes. Strain & sweeten with honey. Sip slowly. Prepare & drink as often as needed, until cramps subside. Both cinnamon & ginger are reliable aids for relieving stomach & menstrual cramps. A warm poultice or hot-water bottle placed over the pelvic area can also be helpful.
Herbal Decoction for Uterine Tumors:
1 part turmeric 1 1/2 parts licorice root 4 parts cinnamon bark 5 parts peach seed Simmer slowly 30 g of dried herbs in 700 ml of water for 30–60 minutes in a covered pot. Strain & drink 1/2 cup 2 -4 times a day, between meals. Take 6 days a week. Tumors of the uterus, including uterine fibroids & cancers, very often involve blood stagnation. Ovarian cysts can also be placed in this category. Turmeric in diet helps dissolve these growths. Since the uterus & ovaries are not well-circulated area & growths there resist treatment, this decoction is invaluable for speeding the re-absorption of tumors, cancers & similar growths in the lower abdominal region.
Cinnamon Honey:
½ cup honey 1–2 tbsp cinnamon powder Gently warm the honey & then stir in the cinnamon. Stir a teaspoon of the honey into warm water or herb tea.
Cinnamon Tincture for Stabilizing Blood Sugar:
100 ml chopped cinnamon bark 80-proof alcohol (brandy, vodka) Place the cinnamon in a glass jar. Cover with alcohol. Let steep for 4- 6 weeks, shaking daily. Strain through a fine-mesh, stainless-steel strainer lined with cheesecloth. Discard the cinnamon, then bottle the liquid. Take ½ tsp 2x a day for 5 days. Continue in this manner for several weeks, or until blood sugar levels normalize.
A Soup for Joint Pain:
Cook until done 1 cup pearl barley with 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 pinch saffron & 1 piece Dong Quai (tang kuei) Add a pinch of following herbs as needed. For water retention: 10 juniper berries For weakness & chills: fenugreek or ginger
Warming Happiness Tea:

Hormone balance is essential to healthy living
There is so much to understand about balancing hormones that it is difficult to know where to begin. Hormones are messengers in the body that travel through the bloodstream into the organs, lymph and tissues of our bodies. The endocrine glands secrete certain hormones in the body which includes to the pineal gland, pituitary, pancreas, thyroid, ovaries or testes, parathyroid, hypothalamus, adrenals and gastrointestinal tract. Just small hormonal changes can cause significant physiological changes in the body, including weight gain and forgetfulness.
Smart health is to have your hormone levels tested periodically, just like a mammogram or Pap smear. Imbalances have serious consequences and if not kept in check, chances of cancer increase, as well as other diseases like diabetes. Many cancers are hormone related. couple seeking bisexual men Estrogen dominance may be accountable for breast, prostate, cervix, endometrial, uterine, and ovarian cancer as well as fibroids. Estrogen deficiency can also cause bladder and urinary tract infections, especially in menopausal women.
Progesterone deficiency can cause cancer as well, including uterine cancer and fibroids. The thicker the lining of the uterus, the higher the chances of cancer are. Natural progesterone cream can help to reduce the lining of the uterine wall and eliminate fibroids in as little as two months; so the cream is not something that needs to be taken forever.
Maintaining a healthy liver is also extremely important to managing uterine fibroids, because it is responsible for eliminating toxins from the body. A healthy liver converts the strongest estrogen to "safe estrogen." Remember that certain medications including birth control pills, fertility drugs and hormone replacement therapy can also create a state of estrogen dominance. Excess estrogen can be promoted by liver congestion, bowel toxicity, stress, hypothyroidism, inflammation, and many of the estrogens below.
Supplementing with DIM can help reduce the steady climb of estrogen. It has been reported that DIM or di-indolylmethane can reduce estrogen buildup. It does this by converting bad estrogen into good estrogen by-products. It is also said to help reduce a swollen prostate.
Many researchers also attribute the high incidence of cancers to the presence of environmental estrogens in our food and products today. Phytoestrogens are plant-derived xenoestrogens and are consumed by eating phytoestrogenic plants. They imitate estrogen, but are not generated within the endocrine system; Phytoestrogens can be either synthetic (man-made) or natural chemical compounds.
Here are some examples of hormones, food or toxins that may alter balance:
Xenoestrogens: artificial scents, air fresheners, food additives, preservatives, commercially raised poultry and cattle, household cleaners, detergents, car exhaust and indoor toxins, personal care products (shampoos, lotions, perfumes, make up, deodorants), oral contraceptives, prescription drugs, paints, lacquers and solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, Styrofoam products, plant estrogens (soy, flaxseed), plastics, canned foods, GMOs and plastic food wrap.
Naturally Estrogenic: alcohol, alfalfa, anise seed, apples, barley, beets, black-eyed peas, blue/black cohosh, cherries, chickpeas, clover, cucumbers, dairy, dates, dong quai, eggs, eggplant, fennel, flaxseed, flour, garlic, hops, lavender, licorice, meat, oats, olive oil, olives, papaya, parsley, peas, peppers, plums, pomegranates, poppy seed, potatoes, pumpkin, red beans, red clover, rhodiola, rose root, rhubarb, rice, sage, saw palmetto, sesame seeds, soybean, sprouts, sugar, sunflower seeds, tea tree oil, tomatoes, wheat, white rice., soy, canola, safflower and corn oil.
Foods That Inhibit Estrogen: artichoke, asparagus, avocados, berries, brazil nuts, broccoli, buckwheat, cabbage, celery, citrus fruits (except apples, cherries, dates, pomegranates), figs, garlic, grapes, green beans, green tea, melons, nuts, onions, pears, pineapples, seaweed, squash, tapioca, white flour, white rice.
Balancing Hormones:Moringa, carrots, chia seeds, coconut oil, cod liver oil, Diindolylmethane (DIM), false unicorn, gelatin, kelp, maca root, magnesium, olive leaf extract, parsley, quinoa, red raspberry, Vitamin D, flaxseed oil*.
Increases Progesterone: beta carotene, chaste berry, dill, legumes, oregano, seeds, sweet potato, thyme, turmeric, vegetables, Vitamin B6, C & E, L-arginine, wild yam. There are also natural progesterone creams. *A note about flaxseed oil... According to Dr. Sears, "Research shows that adding flax oil to foods rich in sulfated amino acids, such as cultured dairy products (i.e., cottage cheese), vegetables of the cabbage family... helps the essential fatty acids become incorporated into cell membranes." In fact, The Budwig Center has a flaxseed oil and cottage cheese protocol that has been reported by their patients to eliminate tumors, degenerative diseases, balance hormones, cure Arthritis, Asthma, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Multiple Sclerosis, Heart Disease, Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne and more.

MANAGING MENOPAUSE NATURALLY WITH VITAMINS FOR WOMEN
Tumblr media
Menopause is a normal biological process in a woman’s life, marking the natural transition between fertility and age-related non-fertility. Menopausal symptoms, in particular hot flushes and night sweats, can vary in their duration and severity and typically begin for women in their late 40’s to early 50’s, often leaving them hot and flustered.
Menopause, hot flushes and night sweats
Hot flushes and night sweats are caused by changing levels of hormones in the body, particularly declining oestrogen levels during the peri-menopause, menopause and the post-menopausal phases.
Peri-menopause is the period of time, usually 4-10 years, before the onset of menopause that tends to affect women in their early 40’s.
Menopause is defined as the cessation of menstruation for at least one year and usually occurs anywhere from around 45-55 years of age.
Post-menopause follows the menopausal phase where the ovaries stop producing oestrogen and while the adrenal glands and the conversion of androgens within fat cells produce small amounts of oestrogen.
As a woman approaches peri-menopause, declining oestrogen levels have a direct effect on the hypothalamus, a part of the brain that’s responsible for temperature control. Low levels of oestrogen trick the hypothalamus into believing the body is overheating. This triggers a cascade of biochemical processes to try and cool the body down by dilating blood vessels, resulting in hot flushes and night sweats.
Hot flushes and night sweats are the number one complaint for women experiencing menopause and are characterised by sudden, intense feelings of heat in the face, neck and arms
Excessive sweating
The frequency, duration and severity of hot flushes and night sweats varies greatly between women. Some women experience mild hot flushes and night sweats every now and then, while other women experience severe hot flushes and nights sweats all day and all night. Avoiding well-known triggers such as caffeine, alcohol, stress and excessive heat, can help to prevent hot flushes.
Top 5 herbs for hot flushes and night sweats
Sage has been used for thousands of years and is traditionally used to relieve excessive sweating, night sweats and hot flushes associated with menopause.
Pueraria (Kudzu), provides isoflavones (phytoestrogens), helpful in managingheat and dryness, improve libido throughout menopause and may help preserve bone health in postmenopausal women
Chaste tree, also known as Vitex, helps support normal healthy hormone balance, helps relieve hot flushes and maintains healthy moods.
Dong Quai may help relieve hot flushes and sleep disturbance in pre- and post-menopausal women.
These herbs have traditionally been used to help relieve a wide variety of menopausal symptoms, especially hot flushes, excessive perspiration, night sweats, sleeplessness, dryness, nervous tension, headaches, and joint and muscle pain.

Woman’s health expert, Dr Karen on menopause
Tumblr media
An expert on women's health, Dr Karen Coates is Australia's leading holistic medical doctor and naturopathic physician and is the published author of the health book 'Embracing the Warrior - an essential guide for women'. We had the privilege of asking Dr Karen some frequently asked menopausal questions in this, the last week of our hormonal health series.
How can I tell if what I'm experiencing is caused by menopause or some other condition? Menopause means the cessation of menstrual bleeding – also called "the change of life". Signs that you're in menopause should occur naturally, around the age of 48 to 54 years. Periods may start to skip a month. Hot flushes and classic menopause symptoms like mood swings, irritability and vaginal dryness may come and go. These symptoms can also be a sign of thyroid imbalance, chronic stress, or other gynaecological disorders. Confirmation of menopause is best done when periods have been absent for a couple of months – your doctor may order lab tests that show a classical pattern of menopause, with very low female hormone levels (the oestradiol form of oestrogen and progesterone) and a high level of the pituitary hormone called Follicle Stimulating Hormone, or FSH. In the first 12 months during the 'change of life' hormone levels in blood tests can fluctuate from normal pre-menopausal levels to very low fertility hormone levels in a matter of weeks as your body moves into and out of menopause as a normal part of this transition. If blood levels are done around a late menstrual period, it can falsely reassure a woman she is not in menopause. If this is the case, doctors will often recommend two or three blood tests over several months to confirm the diagnosis.
How long do menopause symptoms usually last? Women transition through menopause differently, depending on their innate biological clock, along with lifestyle issues and stress levels. Menopause for some women is a smooth transition from monthly periods to none in a matter of weeks. Sadly, for others, this transition can take several years. Peri-menopause can start for some women in their early 40s and occur when the balance of the two fertility hormones, oestrogen and progesterone, is disrupted. A woman will notice cyclical symptoms, like severe breast tenderness and premenstrual irritability and insomnia related to a lower level of progesterone hormone, but oestrogen is still pumping, producing period bleeds that may be erratic and heavier than usual. True postmenopausal life starts when fertility hormones settle to a predictable low level with little fluctuation from day to day or month to month. Your body adapts to this lower level of hormones, and, for the most part, hot flushes and acute symptoms disappear.
What can I do about hot flushes? Hot Flushes occur when oestrogen levels fluctuate up and down, from very low to sometimes very high levels. Before considering pharmaceutical options like menopause hormone replacement therapy, source naturopathic advice on hormonal modulating herbs like red clover, dong quai, and liver support herbs like St Mary's thistle. Alcohol is one of the most potent hot flush triggers there is, so remember, if you drink, you'll flush!
Interrupted sleep: Is this normal, and what can I do? This is common in menopause. If hot flushes disturb sleep, first try the strategies listed above. These tips also help: • Eliminate triggers like caffeine, alcohol and sugar • Consider a palm full of pistachio nuts after dinner – these contain the natural sleep hormone melatonin to promote a deeper, natural sleep • Keep your bedroom cool – invest in a small personal fan to use if hot flushes wake you • Try an evening cup of sage and dandelion herbal tea. Pineapple sage can be grown easily in the garden and used as an infusion throughout the day • The herb zizyphus is also a good sleep promotor.
How should I explain my condition to my partner, family, and friends? What, if anything, should I say to my boss and co-workers? An open dialogue with friends, family and work colleagues if appropriate, can provide emotional support and foster an understanding of the emotional challenges that can accompany this transitional time in every woman's life. Symptoms will settle more easily in a low-stress environment, so look at stress management strategies as an essential member of your menopausal team.
