Little robots: the little city
S1 E3: the little city part 3
Summary: Now in haybaile, the other robots have a lot to do and learn if they want to live in this little city. Not to mention, new lifestyle changes, new homes (aside from the ones they took with them) and even building careers.
*it took a while, but eventually, all of the little robots were now in the small town of haybaile. Tiny was so excited to show all of his friends this exciting new place. As gadget takes noted on who wants what transported (if they decide to stay, that is), tiny begins to act as a tour guide for the other little robots. It took until sundown, but eventually, even stretchy was convinced. They were going to move to haybaile to see what this new life would bring. Of course, there's a few things they would need to know first. So once they robots get settled into their temporary homes, tiny gets to teaching
Tiny: So! The first thing you need to know is how to read! Here they have written communication to help convey information and to send messages at long distances with ease.
*sporty raises his hand
Tiny: Sporty?
Sporty: How do they do that?
Tiny: they have these things called 'phones' and this thing called the 'internet'. These phones can be used to send either audio calls or written texts and messages to communicate information easily.
Everyone: *murmers and chatter about how ingenious that is*
Tiny: and as you can see *he flips his board, now showing diagrams of currency and how it/jobs work* here they also have this thing called 'bot coin'. It's used to get things and services like help building things
*Once again, everyone mutters in wonder over the amazing advances of these robots
*Meanwhile, Gadget and some of the other residents in haybaile are busy moving the desired belongings of the little robots. In order, tiny (and to an extent messy) spoke with the mayor, and the nut and bolt tree will replace the broken statue in the middle of town. Sporty only wanted his sports equipment kept, alongside his hoop, trampoline, and treadmill. Stretchy predictably wanted his junk and junk shoot moved (they found a way to ensure it still gave him regular deliveries). Rusty only wanted her furniture and decor. Stripey decided to keep only his garden and all of his flowers. Noisy at first wanted to only move her instruments, but when she really wanted to keep her plinky plonky stairs, she just had the whole house moved. Spotty, similarly, had her whole house moved. If she didn't have to have her first lesson in literacy, she would have supervised. Scary wanted to move his props, costumes, mirror and, his pride and joy, the ghost train. And the sparkies only were able to keep their roller planks and roll alongs. Plus, the sparky mobiles. All this while our little robots were learning how to read.
*a few days later
*now that the robots have settled in, a lot has happened. Let's start with tiny and make our way from there. Once settled, tiny began wondering what kind of job he'd pursue. That's when gadget comes over to his new home.
Gadget: hey tiny. You have a minute
Tiny: of course! What's the problem
Gadget: no problem... but the mayor wanted me to give you this
*he hands over a piece of paper. Despite only being here for a few days, tiny is already literate (to an extent)
Tiny: this... is an invitation to medical school...
Gadget: Yeah. Lightbot spoke to your friends and learnt that you fixed them when they broke, so he decided to offer for you to train to get an official medical licence. You see... we have a lack of a proper doctor at our local medical centre. Plus, the nearest hospital is a long way away for those who need some quick but not complicated fixes. So he wanted to know if you wanted to go to med school and become our new doctor.
Tiny: I'd... be honoured
*Meanwhile, noisy is being... herself. As she belts with all of her heart, she fails to notice that the crowd around her are just... annoyed at her racket. If you couldn't guess, she's singing her very noisy song. Still, she remains unaware, for now. But this scene will be important for later.
* Back to a more quiet area, we go to the diner. Run by a robot known as Mr. Diner. It's unknown if that was a coincidence, or he renamed himself when he wanted to run the diner. Never the less, rusty walks through the doors of this place. As it happened, diner himself was visiting as he often does, this time to see his daughter, who worked there. As for her motivation, she was only looking. But instead
Diner: and who might you be?
Rusty (letting out some steam in surprise): o..oh! I'm... Rusty.. I'm new here and was, um, looking around.
Diner: well, you certainly are a new face. Say, you wouldn't happen to be looking for a job would you?
Rusty: oh, not exactly, but it would be nice.
Diner: Well, how about you come work here! A pretty face like yours would be great here. And at the very least it will be some good experience.
Rusty: you... would hire.. me? Oh I'd be honoured, sir!
Diner: Great. Meet me here tomorrow at 9 am sharp, and we can start your training to see if you'd do well here.
* Again, we move to someone else. This time stretchy. If you recall, haybaile has a large, mostly unused scrapyard. As you could expect, stretchy, with some advice and encouragement from the mayor, is opening a workshop and scrap selling/trading unit. Of course, however, spotty has to roll in as he's trying to build up one of the main walls.
Spotty (spends a second dusting herself before speaking): stretchy! How good to run into..
Stretchy: Spotty, I'll be blunt, I have not moved from this area in an hour. You came up to me.
Spotty (now flustered): So.. so what if I did. I.. I.. oh, I just wanted to see you. I was.. I was visiting everyone to see how they were doing, yes.
Stretchy: Are you now? Well can't you see I'm trying to work on my soon to be shop?
Spotty: so you are. You are a clever bot aren't you?
Stretchy (with a hint of suspicion): I am... don't you have someone else to bother?
Spotty (taken aback) well I.. no I.. you're the last robot that was on my list, yes. So you were the last of my friends I had visited.
*stretchy groans. He's not falling for whatever spotty is trying to accomplish. But as she dribbles on and he continues building, he can't help but wonder what those motivations are.
*that evening
As the sun slowly set, something tiny was now getting used to, he and messy sit in front of the new resting place of the nut and bolt tree. Despite everything, he still loved his old home. He and his friends had worked together to make it. They have lived there for so long, it feels weird to have left. But in the end, this place is better. Right..
* Gadget notices tiny sitting with his dog messy, and even he can tell that tiny is upset. There are no words to be said, though. All he does is sit down on the other side of tiny, to offer his support. This continues. First rusty, who at first wanted to tell tiny about her job offer. Then sporty, who was following rusty to ask for some advice on getting a job. Then scary, who wanted tiny to help convince the mayor to let him keep his ghost train. Then noisy, who was only walking by but decided to join her friends. Then the sparkies, who wanted tinys help fixing their roll alongs. Then stripy, who was having a nice walk. Even mayor lightbot, who was looking for gadget but found this more important. Then spotty. But before she reached tiny, she noticed stretchy rolling towards the crowd of his friends. Being spotty, she assumes he wants to see her, so she waddles up to him
Spotty: Oh, stretchy, look. All of our friends are huddled up together. How about we go for a little walk together to take our minds of things, hm?
* At this point, stretchy was annoyed. He wanted to join his friends. He could tell what they were doing at this point. So he decided to do something. Something that ruined the illusion that this series is for the same demographic. A single action that causes this thing to become only for adults. Better here than now. What he did was say a simple phrase towards his least favourite robot before joining all of the others. And this was...
Stretchy: fuck off, spotty

China’s Kuaishou steps up monetisation of AI video generation services with new price plan
Kuaishou is charging 19 yuan (US$2.66) for the first month of use, and 58 yuan per month thereafter under a ‘gold member’ plan for the video generation service. Chinese short-video app operator Kuaishou Technology is offering a monthly subscription to its Sora-like artificial intelligence (AI) video generating service, as China’s AI players step up efforts to monetise the cutting-edge technology. Kuaishou, the major domestic rival of TikTok’s sister app Douyin, is charging 19 yuan (US$2.66) for the first month and 58 yuan per month thereafter under a “gold member” plan for video generation services based on its Kling AI model. The plan, claimed to be “the lowest price among similar products”, would support the generation of around 3,300 photos and 66 videos per month, according a statement from Kuaishou on Friday.
The move marks the latest effort by a Chinese Big Tech company to step up commercialisation of products in the hotly-contested AI video generation market. San Francisco-based OpenAI, which pioneered text-to-video generation with the announcement of Sora in February, has yet to make its model available to the general public. In comparison, OpenAI charges US$20 per month for its ChatGPT Plus plan, which includes the DALL-E3 text-to-image generator, but not video generation. Kuaishou also unveiled two premium plans which allow users to generate 15,000 photos and 300 videos under the “platinum plan”, and 40,000 photos and 800 videos under the “diamond plan”.
Released in June, Kling can process text into video clips of up to 2 minutes long with 1080p resolution, while supporting various aspect ratios, Kuaishou said at the time. The company later upgraded the model to include some new features, including image-to-video, video extension functions, as well as enhanced editing capabilities such as start and end frame control and shot control.Kling, which was released after Kuaishou’s KwaiYii large language model (LLM) and text-to-image model Kolors, shows how Chinese AI players are finding it increasingly difficult to make money in the overcrowded market. That was reflected when a heightened price war broke out for commercial AI services. ByteDance’s Doubao models were priced 99.8 per cent less than OpenAI’s GPT-4, while a number of major players – from e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba Group Holding to social media and video gaming behemoth Tencent Holdings, followed suit. Alibaba owns the South China Morning Post. When Kuaishou released its second quarter earnings earlier this week, co-founder and CEO Cheng Yixiao said the company would strive to achieve “commercialisation scale” for the Kling model as soon as possible.
Kling has more than one million users and has generated over 10 million videos, Kuaishou said in the earnings report. The company has also launched the first-ever AI-generated fantasy short drama in China – Legendary Mirrors of Mountains and Seas – which attracted over 50 million views within two weeks of its release in July.

E3 2002 booth for “Donkey Kong Plus”, a tech demo that was eventually reworked into Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Unlike the finished game, which was released for the Game Boy Advance, the original concept was for a GameCube game with Game Boy Advance link functionality instead, similar to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. The screenshot shows a level editor function, which was also not available in the finished game, though it does exist in the game’s data and can be accessed by modifying the code.

Speaking of E3, your thoughts on it so far?
It's mostly been pretty average. There was a LOT of indie stuff that grabbed my interest in Double Fine's Day of the Devs stream (seriously, go check it out if you haven't), and I oughtta check out the Wholesome Games Direct too, but most of the big presentations have been pretty so-so
Lots of prerendered teasers, lots of games in the "wait and see if it ends up being any good" pile like the Guardians of the Galaxy game that Square spent way too much time on. Elden Ring and Mario + Rabbids look cool, but I've never been able to get into Soulslikes or strategy games. And then you've got some stuff that's just baffling like the new Avatar (James Cameron, not The Last Airbender) game, or Final Fantasy Origin. (I'm actually a big fan of FF1, or at least the Dawn of Souls version, so I'm disappointed we're not getting a game in that world with an Amano art style.) I think the only things that I genuinely got particularly excited about from the big events prior to the Direct were Halo Infinite (please be good) and Psychonauts 2. There was more stuff that looked decent, but like. At this point in my life I know my tastes, and I know how few AAA games I actually end up playing, even among ones I want to play. I know what my pile of shame looks like on Steam
The overall blandness is understandable though. Covid has slowed down production for pretty much everyone, and there was no PlayStation or EA show this year, so it makes sense that it would feel a bit slim. I also can't be mad about the Square stream being so light on actual JRPGs when we just had a big Dragon Quest stream with announcements of DQ12 and a DQ3 remake the other week
And then Nintendo announced a Super Monkey Ball HD collection, a new WarioWare, a pair of Advance Wars remakes, and Metroid Dread??? Plus we got gameplay for the (still untitled lol) Breath of the Wild sequel, which I absolutely did not expect this year? So yeah, I'm ecstatic right now. Kazuya is also a cool addition to Smash even if I don't play Tekken. I'm happy for Tekken fans. And I don't play SMT but SMT V looks pretty great
Komaeda was also there which was very funny

Yakkin ‘bout Games: Wolfenstein: The New Order

Yakking ‘bout Games is a series where I talk about games that I’m currently playing or have just finished. It can be new or old, console or PC, good or bad, it really doesn’t matter. If it’s a game worth talking about, you’ll see it covered here.
I think it’s fair to say that the FPS genre has enjoyed a bit of a renaissance over the last decade and a bit. The modern military shooters that dominated the late 2000s and early 2010s have become less common. We have seen the return of classic franchises like Doom and Half-Life, and we have also witnessed the influx of “boomer shooters” like Dusk and Amid Evil. A lot of cool stuff indeed.
With that being said, let’s take a trip back a few years. 2014 to be exact.
This was the first year of the (then) brand spanking new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The two consoles were not off to the best of starts though. Their early exclusives like Killzone Shadow Fall, InFamous Second Son, Forza Motorsport 5 and Dead Rising 3 had failed to impress. The only games picking up the slack were multi-platform releases like Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. The only FPS games available at the time (other than Killzone on PS4) were Call of Duty Ghosts (dull as dishwater) and Battlefield 4 (I enjoyed it but it was completely broken on release.)
Not exactly the most exciting of times for an FPS fan on console.
Wolfenstein: The New Order finally came along that May. It had been announced the year prior but it didn’t have much fanfare behind it. The initial E3 showing didn’t really impress anyone and there wasn’t really a great excitement for the game’s release. Perhaps it was because the previous Wolfenstein game was largely ignored by people or maybe because people were skeptical due to the game being MachineGames’ (the developer) first effort. People needn’t have worried though. The game turned out to be a massive surprise. It ended up being one of the best of that year.
Why am I covering this now? It’s because I recently got the urge to play it again after all these years. Plus I wanted to see how it would function in a post modern Doom world. So with that in mind, let’s get psyched and see how the game holds up.

Never has a smile brought terror to my heart so fast. Well this and my last dental appointment...
The New Order is set in an alternate universe where the Nazis won World War II due to their advanced technology being too much for the Allied forces. After an operation to try and assassinate the spearhead behind this growing technological evolution goes horribly wrong, Captain William “B.J.” Blazkowicz ends up taking a piece of shrapnel to the back of the head which puts him into a vegetative state. He ends up spending fourteen years in a Polish mental asylum before finally being awoken again due to witnessing a horrible atrocity committed by the Nazis. B.J. is now in the alien world of 1960 where the Nazis rule over the world with an iron fist. It’s up to B.J. to link up with the remnants of the Resistance and take the fight back to the Nazis once and for all.
The story was and still is one of the most surprising elements of The New Order. It paints a brutal picture of a world controlled by an evil and ruthless force who will stop at nothing to assert their dominance. The cast as well are very memorable. You have the plucky and likable Resistance fighters who you get to spend quite a bit of time with. You then have some memorable encounters with the evil figureheads of the Nazi regime at certain parts of the story. Anyone who has seen the train sequence in this game knows exactly what I’m taking about. I have to give MachineGames credit as well for the characterisation of B.J. himself. They managed to turn a character who was known for being a badass Nazi killer to a very sympathetic and likable Nazi killer. B.J. in this game is weary and tired after years of fighting evil and tyranny at every corner. The man wants nothing more than for the war to be over so he can hang up his guns and finally settle down. How could you hate the man after hearing something like that?

B.J. is such an upstanding guy that he would infiltrate a Nazi controlled train just to get you some coffee. Liberation and a Cappuccino, you can’t beat it.
The real bread and butter of The New Order though is the gameplay. It has held up fantastically for the most part. Combat is a blast thanks to the very meaty arsenal at your disposal including assault rifles, shotguns, marksman rifle and a Laserkraftwerk which allows you to blast enemies to smithereens. You’ll have plenty of enemy types to cut through including rank and file soldiers, big mech suit soldiers with heavy weaponry and robots that have massive lasers. B.J. has a few abilities though to help turn the tide of battle. Leaning is one such ability and it’s implemented very well. How it works is that if you hold the L1 button, it locks B.J. in place and you can then use the left stick to lean at different angles. It’s super useful. Earning a well placed few shots at a Nazi from a very awkward angle never gets old. B.J. also has the ability to dual-wield certain weapons to deal even more hefty damage to his foes. Press up on the d-pad and prepare to bring the carnage. While this is a pretty fun feature, it does limit your movement speed and it can result in you burning through ammo quite quickly. It also is restricted to two types of the same weapon. You can also find upgrades for weapons which give them different ammo types and fire modes. The Laserkraftwerk, for example, can be used to cut through certain boxes and materials which is pretty nifty.
In terms of how health works, it’s a hybrid between classic pick-ups and regeneration. You can recover health by picking up health packs and food throughout the game. Armor can be found as well to allow you to take some extra damage. If you take health damage and managed to find cover, you’ll eventually get 10 health points back. You also have the ability to overcharge your health. How this works is that if you end up picking up a health item that takes you over your max health, you get higher health points for a brief period which is quite useful. You can increase your max health by finding hidden health upgrades throughout some of the levels.
AI is decent for the most part. They will attempt to find cover in the heat of a firefight and they do try to flank you. Some of the heavy soldiers will also attempt to rush your position. I certainly didn’t notice any unusual behaviour from them. Boss fights are a bit unremarkable for the most part. The game pretty much spells out how to take them out and they don’t really put up much of a fight. The main exception being the final boss but even then, it really isn’t that hard.

The secret painting boss fight was an interesting idea though. Definitely a canvas for them to work on in the future. (Apologies for the bad pun and joke.)
The game does have a basic stealth system and it works fine. When you enter most of the areas in the game, you will be informed that there are two commanders in the area. Take them out without being spotted and you can sneak through the area without having to worry about reinforcements if you get spotted by an enemy. You can take down enemies stealthily by using a silenced pistol, throwing knives or by sneaking up to them and performing a takedown. Stealth can feel a little overpowered during some of the early sections because the pistol is super accurate and it only takes one headshot to take some of these enemies down. The game does balance this a bit better later on as areas are populated with more elite enemies that harder to kill without being spotted.
Being a Wolfenstein game, you would expect exploration to be a big part of the gameplay and it does play a part for sure. There are hidden areas to be found with collectibles such as the Enigma codes which can unlock new difficulties and cheat codes. You can also find hidden max HP upgrades and other stuff as well. Maps can be found in each level which will indicate possible hidden secrets with a question mark. Levels are definitely more linear than some of the prior Wolfenstein games so don’t expect huge hidden areas or levels.
Key and item hunting still exists of course. You will find doors that require a key or a tool needed to progress which requires a bit of skulking around to find that key or item. You see this especially in the Resistance HQ sections which occur after most of the levels. In these sections, you will be tasked with finding a certain item for a character to progress to the next level. There are also side missions where you can do the same thing for other characters in the HQ and completing these unlocks extras such as artwork. I’m mixed on the Resistance HQ sections overall. On the one hand, they’re good from a lore perspective because you can overhear conversations from some of the characters and there are newspaper clippings and notes to find which do a good job of building up the world. On the other hand, they do feel a little bit like filler. Swings and roundabouts, I suppose...
I don’t really have many issues with the gameplay as a whole. My only real gripe is how the weapon wheel works. Weapon wheels are commonplace on console because a controller doesn’t have many buttons when compared to a keyboard. Makes perfect sense. The New Order’s one however can be such a temperamental thing to use. How it’s supposed to work is that you hit the R1 button to bring up the wheel and then you use the right stick to pick the weapon you want. Sounds simple enough. In reality what happens is that the game ends up giving you the wrong weapon time after time. I can’t even begin to count the amount of times that I tried to switch to the assault rifle and the game switched me to the dual-wield pistols instead. It can be a bloody nuisance. Part of this is down to how sensitive the stick is when using the wheel. It’s way too fast. Also why do the dual-wield options even need to be there? You can already hit up on the d-pad to dual-wield a particular weapon plus I didn’t really need to dual-wield all that much so it’s just clutter. They could have cleaned this up a lot better. I also had issues with swapping back to the previous weapon. It would sometimes default back to the Laserkraftwerk even though it wasn’t my previous weapon. Thankfully these issues didn’t get me killed but they certainly got on my nerves a little bit.

Textbook schadenfreude here from one of the villains. Shouldn’t be that shocked really...
From a graphics point of view, Wolfenstein: The New Order still holds up remarkably well. It runs on the same idTech engine that powered Rage before it and it certainly looks great. Character models are well detailed and they animate well. Cutscenes are well framed and the angles are perfectly done. Environments are beautifully crafted with amazing detail so whether you are in rainy soaked London or even the friggin’ Moon, you feel immersed in the world of the game.

I wasn’t kidding about the Moon. Look Ma, I’m in space! (In a video game...)
The game is quite aliased on the consoles. You definitely see sharp and jagged edges at times. Plus the textures look a bit low-res when viewed up close, but the game still looks great, and I imagine the PC version cleans up most of this stuff anyway so there’s that.

Tumblr’s image compression doesn’t do this environment justice. Oh well. C’est la vie, I suppose...
I can’t fault the game’s sound though. All voice performances are pitch-perfect with Brian Bloom (the voice of B.J.) being the standout. The music is incredible too with a great balance between atmospheric tracks and hard edged ones when the action really kicks off. It’s composed by a guy named Mick Gordon. Don’t think he’s done anything of note since though.
In terms of length, you’re looking at about roughly 8-10 hours for a first time playthrough. There is replay value with the collectibles and the Timeline system. To briefly explain, the Timeline system is related to a choice you make at the start of the game which changes some of the characters you encounter during the game. It doesn’t drastically change much. The events remain the same. You just get some unique dialog and a scene or two. Not much else.
So as you can see, I think that Wolfenstein: The New Order is still a bloody good time. The shooting still feels great with some really meaty weapons, the story and characters are super engaging, and the presentation and sound still kicks some ass. It has some minor issues here and there, but this game is well worth experiencing. You can pick it up pretty cheap nowadays on most of the platforms and it does go on sale quite often.
It’s nice to go back sometimes and revisit a classic, isn’t it?
Check back here soon for Part 2 of this where I take a look at The Old Blood. Until then, stay safe, folks!

The one thing I did enjoy about E3 (from what I've watched so far anyways), was that at least some of the conferences actually showed a bunch of trailers instead of just talking about industry stuff for an hour lmao
thats totally valid and now that you point it out, i appreciate the change. i just feel like pretty much the entire conference was boring as hell with nothing exciting. and people saying the ABYSMAL showing by nintendo “saved the show” is so baffling to me. nintendo genuinely hasnt done anything cool for like 3 years.
i so badly want to go back to the company that was willing to take risks like the wii u (as tragic as that turned out to be) and the ds! like even reinventing zelda with breath of the wild, imho, was an incredibly safe bet. i enjoy the game, but is there anything thats more of a sure thing than “Zelda Crafting Survival Open-World”? what happened to the people that made star fox zero? did that game flop miserably? yes. did i fucking love it even in its unplayable state? 1000%!!
i think my answer is really in the examples i keep giving. the ds was a weird idea but turned into a SMASH hit, with one of the widest and most diverse libraries ever. like legit the ps2 might be the only think that rivals it in that respect. but the wii u TANKED for them and i think that taught nintendo that risks sometimes dont pay off.
ALSO ive been a HUGE fan of handhelds since i was like 2001/2 when i got a gameboy advance and was 4 or 5. one of the best parts of handhelds, besides not having to share a tv with family members and taking it with you, is that the games were cheaper! if youre a parent, someone on a budget, or just a person whos main hobby is playing viddy games, a 30 or 40 dollar title makes a WORLD of difference! and it sets a reasonable expectation for what you got. i still cannot fucking believe they charge $60 for pokemon now (PLUS DLC!!!). i might make the first episode of a podcast ive been mulling around about how the switch killed handhelds
sorry i kinda went on a rant but im real butt about the state of viddeyo games rn. at least bugsnax and yakuza like a dragon 😔

LIZ LEARNS TO DRIVE
November 13, 1948
“Liz Learns To Drive” (aka “Liz's Driving License” and “Liz Learns to Drive”) is episode #16 of the radio series MY FAVORITE HUSBAND broadcast on November 13, 1948.
Synopsis ~ George teaches Liz to drive and she immediately gets in an accident. Through a communications mix-up, George thinks Liz has intentionally run over George's high school sweetheart, Myra Ponsenby!
Note: This episode was aired before the characters names were changed from Cugat to Cooper. It was also before Jell-O came aboard to sponsor the show and before the regular cast featured Bea Benadaret and Gale Gordon as the Atterburys.
“My Favorite Husband” was based on the novels Mr. and Mrs. Cugat, the Record of a Happy Marriage (1940) and Outside Eden (1945) by Isabel Scott Rorick, which had previously been adapted into the film Are Husbands Necessary? (1942). “My Favorite Husband” was first broadcast as a one-time special on July 5, 1948. Lucille Ball and Lee Bowman played the characters of Liz and George Cugat, and a positive response to this broadcast convinced CBS to launch “My Favorite Husband” as a series. Bowman was not available Richard Denning was cast as George. On January 7, 1949, confusion with bandleader Xavier Cugat prompted a name change to Cooper. On this same episode Jell-O became its sponsor. A total of 124 episodes of the program aired from July 23, 1948 through March 31, 1951. After about ten episodes had been written, writers Fox and Davenport departed and three new writers took over – Bob Carroll, Jr., Madelyn Pugh, and head writer/producer Jess Oppenheimer. In March 1949 Gale Gordon took over the existing role of George’s boss, Rudolph Atterbury, and Bea Benaderet was added as his wife, Iris. CBS brought “My Favorite Husband” to television in 1953, starring Joan Caulfield and Barry Nelson as Liz and George Cooper. The television version ran two-and-a-half seasons, from September 1953 through December 1955, running concurrently with “I Love Lucy.” It was produced live at CBS Television City for most of its run, until switching to film for a truncated third season filmed (ironically) at Desilu and recasting Liz Cooper with Vanessa Brown.
MAIN CAST
Lucille Ball (Liz Cugat) was born on August 6, 1911 in Jamestown, New York. She began her screen career in 1933 and was known in Hollywood as ‘Queen of the B’s’ due to her many appearances in ‘B’ movies. “My Favorite Husband” eventually led to the creation of “I Love Lucy,” a television situation comedy in which she co-starred with her real-life husband, Latin bandleader Desi Arnaz. The program was phenomenally successful, allowing the couple to purchase what was once RKO Studios, re-naming it Desilu. When the show ended in 1960 (in an hour-long format known as “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour”) so did Lucy and Desi’s marriage. In 1962, hoping to keep Desilu financially solvent, Lucy returned to the sitcom format with “The Lucy Show,” which lasted six seasons. She followed that with a similar sitcom “Here’s Lucy” co-starring with her real-life children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as well as Gale Gordon, who had joined the cast of “The Lucy Show” during season two. Before her death in 1989, Lucy made one more attempt at a sitcom with “Life With Lucy,” also with Gordon.
Richard Denning (George Cugat) was born Louis Albert Heindrich Denninger Jr., in Poughkeepsie, New York. When he was 18 months old, his family moved to Los Angeles. Plans called for him to take over his father’s garment manufacturing business, but he developed an interest in acting. Denning enlisted in the US Navy during World War II. He is best known for his roles in various science fiction and horror films of the 1950s. Although he teamed with Lucille Ball on radio in “My Favorite Husband,” the two never acted together on screen. While “I Love Lucy” was on the air, he was seen on another CBS TV series, “Mr. & Mrs. North.” From 1968 to 1980 he played the Governor on “Hawaii 5-0″, his final role. He died in 1998 at age 84.
Ruth Perrott (Katie, the Maid) was also later seen on “I Love Lucy.” She first played Mrs. Pomerantz, a member of the surprise investigating committee for the Society Matrons League in “Pioneer Women” (ILL S1;E25), as one of the member of the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League in “Lucy and Ethel Buy the Same Dress” (ILL S3;E3), and also played a nurse when “Lucy Goes to the Hospital” (ILL S2;E16). She died in 1996 at the age of 96.
Bob LeMond (Announcer) also served as the announcer for the pilot episode of “I Love Lucy”. When the long-lost pilot was finally discovered in 1990, a few moments of the opening narration were damaged and lost, so LeMond – fifty years later – recreated the narration for the CBS special and subsequent DVD release.
GUEST CAST
John Hiestand (Cory Cartwright) served as the announcer for the radio show “Let George Do It” from 1946 to 1950. In 1955 he did an episode of “Our Miss Brooks” opposite Gale Gordon.
Bea Benadaret (Woman Driver) was considered the front-runner to be cast as Ethel Mertz but when “I Love Lucy” was ready to start production she was already playing a similar role on TV’s “The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show” so Vivian Vance was cast instead. On “I Love Lucy” she was cast as Lucy Ricardo’s spinster neighbor, Miss Lewis, in “Lucy Plays Cupid” (ILL S1;E15) in early 1952. Later, she was a success in her own show, “Petticoat Junction” as Shady Rest Hotel proprietress Kate Bradley. She starred in the series until her death in 1968.
Frank Nelson (Officer Frank Nelson) was born on May 6, 1911 (three months before Lucille Ball) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He started working as a radio announcer at the age of 15. He later appeared on such popular radio shows as “The Great Gildersleeve,” “Burns and Allen,” and “Fibber McGee & Molly”. Aside from Lucille Ball, Nelson is perhaps most associated with Jack Benny and was a fifteen-year regular on his radio and television programs. His trademark was playing clerks and other working stiffs, suddenly turning to Benny with a drawn out “Yeeeeeeeeees?” Nelson appeared in 11 episodes of “I Love Lucy”, including three as quiz master Freddy Fillmore, and two as Ralph Ramsey, plus appearance on “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” - making him the only actor to play two different recurring roles on “I Love Lucy.” Nelson returned to the role of the frazzled Train Conductor for an episode of “The Lucy Show” in 1963. This marks his final appearance on a Lucille Ball sitcom.
Herb Vigran (Sergeant Martin Lewis, Homicide Squad) made several appearances on “My Favorite Husband.” He would later play Jule, Ricky’s music union agent on two episodes of “I Love Lucy”. He would go on to play Joe (and Mrs. Trumbull’s nephew), the washing machine repairman in “Never Do Business With Friends” (S2;E31) and Al Sparks, the publicity man who hires Lucy and Ethel to play Martians on top of the Empire State Building in “Lucy is Envious” (S3;E23). Of his 350 screen roles, he also made six appearances on “The Lucy Show.”
The name Martin Lewis may be a tribute to the comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, who first performed together in 1946, and went their separate ways ten years later.
THE EPISODE
ANNOUNCER: “It is morning, and Katie the maid has just put breakfast on the table and Liz and George are sitting down to it.”
George is reluctant to read the paper at the table after Liz’s previous chastisement about ignoring her at breakfast. This time, she encourages him to pick up the newspaper and when he does, she has torn a hole through the center so she can see him and he can read the news!
Lucy Ricardo also had the same complaint about Ricky on “I Love Lucy”!
LIZ: “I’m looking at you through an automobile ad. The new Nash has blue eyes for headlights. And your ears look like both doors are wide open.”
Nash Motors Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, from 1916 to 1957. In 1938 Nash debuted the heating and ventilation system which is still used today. The aerodynamic 1949 Nash Airflyte was the first car of an advanced design introduced by the company after the war. Nash went out of business in February 1954.
Katie says she had the same problem with her first husband, Clarence. As a last resort, she set his newspaper on fire!
In “Be A Pal” (ILL S1;E2), Lucy also tries setting fire to the newspaper to get her husband’s attention! Considering all the trouble Desi had to assure the studio audience’s safety for the Los Angels Fire Department, it is amazing this stunt was allowed!
Through his ‘holy’ newspaper, George reads about his old college girlfriend, Myra Ponsenby. Liz is unenthusiastic.
LIZ: “What’s new in Lower Slobbovia?”
In “First Stop” (ILL S4;E14) Fred Mertz calls One Oak Cabins “Lower Slobbovia,” which is a term first used in 1946 by Al Capp in his comic strip "Li'l Abner” to describe a place that was unenlightened and socially backward.
Liz is clearly jealous and wishes Myra would “drop dead” claiming there isn’t room enough for the both of them in town. George says the article claims she is driving into town in her new imported car called a Zebra [a fictional car].
LIZ: “I’m glad she’s got a car. It was dangerous riding around on that broomstick.”
Myra is married to Mr. Minky the peanut king, who Liz insists she married for his money. Tired of hearing about Myra, Liz begs George for another driving lesson. The last time he gave her a lesson she drove their Hudson into someone’s kitchen!
The Hudson Motor Car Company made automobiles in Detroit, Michigan from 1909 to 1954. In 1954, Hudson merged with Nash-Kelvinator to form American Motors Corporation (AMC). The Hudson name was discontinued in 1957.
George gives in and promises to give her a lesson on the back roads after work. When he gets home, she tells him she practiced before he got there, but forgot to open the garage door! Liz finally finds the starter (after trying the cigarette lighter and the radio). Then she has trouble finding the clutch. George is foaming at the mouth in anxiety.
Liz finally gets the car on the road - but the wrong side! They nearly have a collision! George gets frustrated and Liz dissolves into tears.
Much of the driving lesson dialogue and situations were recycled in the episode “Safe Driving Week” in October 1950. In it, George is elected town Safety Chairman just when Liz creates havoc on the roads.
Later, Cory Cartwright volunteers to help Liz pass her driving test. He wishes her luck, as she goes into the police station to get her driver’s license.
NELSON: “Name?” LIZ: “Elizabeth Cugat.” NELSON: “Address?” LIZ: “321 Bundy.” NELSON: “Race?” LIZ: “Of course not! I don’t even have a driver’s license!”
After much rhetorical to-ing and fro-ing, he takes her fingerprints and gives her the eye test:
NELSON: “Read the letters on the wall over there.” LIZ: “M-E-N.”
The eye test and fingerprinting that Liz undergoes are repeated when Lucy Carter helps her son Craig get a license in a 1969 episode of “Here’s Lucy.”
Somehow Liz passes the driving test and gets her license. Naturally she gets in an accident on the way home with Cory. The car is a wreck, but they are okay. The other driver is a woman (Bea Benadaret) who says she will call her lawyer and the police.
Liz doesn’t know what she will say to George about the damage to the car. Cory agrees to help her get it fixed before George finds out.
When “Lucy Learns To Drive” (ILL S4;E12) in 1955, she also has an accident after her first lesson. Like Liz, she has to come up with a story so that her favorite husband doesn’t get angry!
When Liz finally gets home, George tells her that Myra Ponsenby has been reported missing. Liz couldn’t care less, but George wants to know why she’s so late home and is acting so peculiar. The phone rings and George eavesdrops on her conversation about the car. Not knowing to whom or what she’s talking about, George believes that his wife has done away with Myra!
LIZ (on the phone): “You know how George feels about that old wreck. That wasn’t the first time she’d been hit. Did you see all those dents in her trunk? And her rear bumper was in pretty bad shape, too. Wasn’t it awful? I thought she’d never stop yelling. And all I did was hit her with the front wheels.”
An overheard telephone conversation on the very first filmed “I Love Lucy” episode in 1951 convinces Lucy that Ricky is going to murder her! Of course, Ricky is merely talking about ‘getting rid’ of his girl singer, Joanne.
George, thinking Liz is a murderer, emerges from hiding to confront her. Clueless, Liz doesn’t know what all the fuss is about, but George is sure she will ‘get the chair’! Just then the doorbell rings and it is Sergeant Lewis (Herb Vigran), of the homicide squad. A worried Liz hides in the kitchen while George answers the door. After a moment of doubt, Liz decides to give herself up. She tells the Sergeant to arrest her!
Down at the police station, Liz is confronted by the policeman who issued her driver’s license, who has now transferred to homicide. The questions he asks mirror those of the driving test earlier in the day. Liz decides to tell him the whole story, thinking she’s confessing to a traffic accident and not a murder!
NELSON: “What did you do with the body?”
LIZ: “I had them jack it up and haul it away on a truck.”
Frank Nelson also played a policeman named Nelson in “Ricky and Fred Are TV Fans” (ILL S2;E30) in 1953. In it, Lucy and Ethel are mistaken for Sticky Fingers Sal and Pickpocket Pearl. The dialogue is different, but also features rapid fire questions and answers between Ball and Nelson.
The telephone rings and it is announced that Myra Ponsenby has been found alive! She was in jail after speeding through a small town and arrested.
In “Tennessee Bound” (ILL S4;E15) new driver Lucy Ricardo also sped through a small town (Bent Fork) and was arrested!
After a moment, Liz suddenly realizes that that they assumed she murdered Myra! Liz laughs, knowing that she will now get the car fixed without any fuss!

In the usual bedtime tag, Liz is up late reading a murder mystery. George spoils the ending so he can get some sleep: the butler did it. George says the butler killed his wife because she talked too much when he was trying to go to sleep!
LIZ: “Ohhhh! Goodnight, George.”

FNAF Squad Reference Sheets
---------------------------------------
The time has finally arrived!
After many years of cursing myself about making Reference Sheets fo my characters I pulled myself together and busted out 4 Refs for my main FNAF Squad! X3
... never ever owo
Seriously, it nearly killed me drawing these. The only saving grace was that I had a base body that I just copy-pasted and changed up a little in hights and body type/s X'D
But after 3 weeks I finally did it and I love every single one of these!! Seriously, love them, they perfect, I'm SO proud of them and myself for making them X3
And of course Vinnie had to be the first one of them all, cuz duh X'D
URGH I just love Vincent so much! Yeah, yeah, call me whatever you want, but this particular Purple Man will always be my Number 1. He's the most fun Character I made, ever, and without him I don't know who I would be today. He's important to me and I care ALOT about him <3
Rick is my soft bb boi. I love him, I love how I drew him and anybody who says anything against him is going to have a problem with me e3e
Jokes aside, I would've never thought that my 'Purple Man'-wanna be that I spontaneously made in a FNAF 2 RP would become such a great character. OP af, maybe a bit basic, but also so god damn interesting and fun.
I just can't, okay? Rick is my soft boy and I love him ... and I love him with Vincent, they just too perfect qWq
PurpleShadow for life <33
Aaaand with Keith my FNAF Universe crumbled into pieces X'D
Well, not really BECAUSE of him, but FNAF 4 really was something that was hard to add into my Universe, since it's mostly fixed on Vincent's side of the story.
But, I really appreciated Keith being made in the first place! He opened up another way to introduce the Nightmare Animatronics and with Keith there was another part of Vincent's and Rick's story to make it a little more interesting. He was also the one who gave PG a purpose in the Universe, so I'm actually really glad to have this edgy-wanna be in my squad X'3
I'm still in shock on how similar he is to Necro, a Sonic OC that is paired up with a perverted God, and Echo, a cyborg Pikachu with a bright red robot right eye, AND basically looking like a Darkrai gijinka and also having nightmare abilties. Still in shock about the Darkrai thing, since I haven't played Pokemon at all in that time, or even ownig a Darkrai of my own at that time to even think about :''3
And last but not least we have my favorite perv boi, PG X3
I remember how this boi started and I'm so glad that I managed to come up with a really good story to integrate him into the Universe without breaking Vincent's story and dangerious and dark theme.
... in return PG became one of my most tragic Characters I have, whoops X'D
Eitherway, love PG, he needs more love and more perv <3
He and Keith were the most chill Refs to make, hands down and I'm so glad that I could make them as fast as I did X'D
Together with the others I had alot of fun making these Refs and changing my boiz a bit up here and there, optimizing their designs and giving them new life in general X3
(Below are smol bios for each character)
--
Vincent, the Purple Man.
He's a cunning Mastermind and confident in his killing skills. He's no opponent somebody should take lightly, Vincent is fast, strong and agile, always thinking of a plan and being one step ahead from his enemy. Due to him dying and haunting an ANimatronic suit himself this Purple Guy has the ability to turn into a 'Ghost-Form' that allows him to do all the typical Ghost stuff, but sadly all of that just for a very short time. After his victims forgive him however, seeing the torture Vincent was going through, he was given another chance at life, with a new body that doesn't age and can heal itself. Vincent doesn't really like other people and shows off his own confidence to stay ahead. But sometimes he can be a real dork around his friends and have a great time with them, joking around and messing with them.
He smokes from time to time and drinks ALOT of coffee to try and stay awake for his own sanity, as grueling nightmares of his past horrid actions still haunt him to this day. Vincent tries his best to forget as he has been forgiven, and also make up for what he has done, but some habits are hard to break and some wandering spirits are still after his second chance of life ... .
--
Rick, the Shadow Man.
A friendly and helpful individual that would give his life for his friends. Don't take him as a fool, Rick might look like your average goody two shoes, but the moment somebody harms him or his friends Rick pulls off his kiddie gloves. His Ghost-Form, also known as his Shadow Form, is the most dangerious creatures somebody could face. Hvaing all the abilities as a Ghost, plus controlling shadows, hiding away in them, modifying his body, having a radar-like abilty making him aware of his sorroundings and the people around him; Rick is a force to be recken with. All these abilities he gained after his best friend, the Purple Man, killed him in a blood rush, making Rick a haunting, vengeful Ghost and fusing with the darkness around him. Though after Rick realized how much hurt he gave Vincent he forgave him and is now walking the world with anew life and body, that doesn't gae and can heal itself.
Rick is an optimist and will always try to talk things out. He loves kids and can play the guitar very well. His past does weight hard on him, but he tries to move forward enjoy his new life with his old and new friends.
--
Keith, the Nightmare Man.
He might send out vibes that make people think that he's rather emotionless, non caring, maybe even easily angered. And even though Keith likes to burst out in anger or annoyance, that is all in good fun. Behind the dark facade is a really warm hearted and nice guy that cannot sit still whenever someone is crying or hurt, if just a bump or a serious injury. He has very deep expertises in both mechanical, technical and the mdeical field and is always there to support his friends and innocent people cought in the middle. Due to Vincent, Keith lost his life as well, but started to walk the wolrd again as a raging vengence dragged him back into the living world. This gave him the push to show off his skills and new abilities to form dreams to his won will, creating nightmares and even forcing people to do his bidding and create abominations that could tear appart anything he pleased ... which were his former friends, Vincent and Rick. After a violent fight though these two men showed Keith the light and he too was forgiving them for what had happened. Now he works together with his old friends, protecting his new and improving his skills even more, while stitching his friends back togetehr whenever they dare to get themselves into trouble.
Keith can be really serious about his work, but he knows how to laugh and have a good time, showing off his new creations and lovingly helping and caring about his friends. Though his past actions have created something he still curses himself for.
--
PG, the Purple Guy.
What can be said about this guy? He's a careless, chill and very perverted guy, that lives life without a second thought. PG looks and acts alot like an idiot, but deep down he's just as dangerious and inteligent as Vincent, as PG himself is a Purple Guy as well. His origin is from a differet Universe and due to an unfortunate circumstance he ended up as ginue pig for experiments and a slave for another's amusement. His spirit was broken ... until something happened that gave PG the will to escape and follow his new friends, Vincent, Rick and the others back to their world. With his own world destroyed and nowhere to go he wandered around and bumped into Keith, bonding with him and even becoming a memeber of the new Fazbear family. PG also died and got pulled back, but compared to the others, his Ghost form and self healing ability is broken and unstable to say the least.
He doesn't like to get in serious trouble, but loves to tease and have fun with his friends, while also drinking like there was no tomorrow and annoying Keith with his sexual advances and jokes.

Highlights from today’s GD play session pt. 6
Where are parts two through five, you ask? They don’t exist because I forgot and also didn’t have too much to talk about dkjgndgj But I reached the timeskip today, so here’s an array of my thoughts on various things.
I’m still a bit bummed that the school phase is the same between all the routes. All the different dialogue and flavor text is appreciated, but it’s still all the same stuff as last time, and while I wouldn’t call it a slog, it got a bit tedious at times. It got to the point I was just resting or attending seminars every weekend because it was the quickest option and I had recruited all the kiddos I was gonna save and everyone was quite comfortably in their advanced classes, so? I was just looking forward to getting to the timeskip so I could have something new to see and do! That said, I have perfected my skills as a monster hunter and armor breaker from all that spare time, so that was a plus!
The reunion at Garreg Mach had such an awkward tone... I’m not gonna lie. It felt a little off, but like, I can see why? Here’s Claude, just hanging out, hoping one of his friends might show up and then there’s his prof who he thought was dead and like? Can’t let him know I was relying on luck and hope to bring him back to me, gotta just be!! Claude!!! No worries!! The feelings did have a little less gravitas then the reunion with Dimitri, but then, everyone thought Dimitri was dead for years and were all kinda fucked up about it. So. Yeah. The tonal differences were.. staggering, but not bad. It suits the tone of the deer house well. And then Claude and Hilda teaming up to convince the knights to help us restore the monastery... priceless.
Also, fuck that first map right after the timeskip where you fucking rout those bandits, fucking fuck. Fuck you. That map kicked my ass the first time around even with Dimitri who could have solo’d it by his goddamn self, and this time around I had to rewind time like a billion goddamn times because having your lord character on a wyvern is dope as shit until you’re on a map CRAWLING WITH SNIPERS AND SILVER BOWS and I literally got Claude fucking sniped on the first goddamn turn because I missed marking one(1) godDAMn sniper F U C K M E yes i know the dismount command exists i’m so fucking dumb just let me fucking stew here
Thoughts each of the Golden Deer timeskip looks:
Claude: I saw him at E3 but seeing the real thing is just DAMN GIRL, LIKE, DAMN GIRL, YOU’RE A WHOLE GODDAMN MAN NOW, GIRL (am i the only who remembers that song exists god i’m so old). I even like the beard now. He’s a goddamn national treasure. All his new quotes and battle lines are great too... he’s so... sad
Hilda: I got her on my BL playthrough, but she’s still a knockout! Love the hair and the hoop earrings and everything, I JUST LOVE HER. Love her change in work ethic as well. Sweet girl.
Raphael: BOY LOOK AT THAT HAIR YOU’RE LIKE A MODEL!!!! Lovable goober boy.
Ignatz: Ignatz. My man. HE'S SO.....I swooned, okay???? LIKE. JUST HIS DEEPER VOICE??? And he's all hardened, saying shit like "I wasn't about to let you go" and "No mercy"???? AAAAAAA I'm just MMMMMMM he's so handsome with his new haircut and get up holy shit am I really going hetero over IGNATZ freaking VICTOR right now xnsnsnsnnd
Leonie: so cute! she’s so adorable! love the hair and the new look, and also GIRL YOUR NEW QUOTES ARE SO RAW BAB YOU OKAY
Marianne: Oh my god MARIANNE she's S T U N N I N G queen an absolute QUEEN look at your beautiful face without those eye bags and bangs BABY YOU’RE A STAR
Lysithea: sHE’S LIKE A LITTLE DOLL. I love her headdress and her little shoes she’s just so heckin adorable and still an absolute UNiT
Lorenz: Lorenz my boy I've always found you pretty, but now you're GORGEOUS!! That hair! That armor! You’re like a combination of both the prince and the princess and I’m LIVING for it.
I’ve started watching the post timeskip supports now as well, and deciding upon pairings. There’s a bunch I’ve had unlocked for ages, like Ignatz and Raph’s, but I had so many unlocked I got to pick and choose! Marianne and Ignatz were first up because after their B support I was fucking HOOKED, I needed them to be together forever. But I had originally planned for Lorenz and Marianne to be together, so that threw a wrench into things buuuuut? I had Claude and Lorenz’s A support ready to so I was just like FUCK IT THIS IS HOW IT BE. Their support was surprisingly nice? Rather sweet. And Lorenz, my dude, telling another guy that life would be boring without him is p gay. I also got Felix and Sylvain’s A support started, and started the long chain of Byleth A supports. I’ve got like... nine ready, plus Ferdie’s B support. And the very first one to approach me? Lorenz. XD
A collection of observations and feelings about Claude, in no particular order: He’s just... incredible. I respect him as a leader so much, I’m kind of constantly in awe; Dimitri inspired my protective instincts but I don’t think I could follow someone so soft-hearted as a leader, but Claude could convince me to sell my soul and I’d thank him. I feel like coming to Fodlan started out like a field trip for Claude, but now he’s way too invested, and honestly, I don’t think he knows quite how to feel about that fact. Claude wants so much to be the hero; even if he knows his methods are less than noble, that he’ll make use of everything at his disposal to reach his goals, but in the end, he still wants to be seen for his good deeds and he wants to be a hero. I’ve already been spoiled for it, but Barbarossa Claude owns this ass, that’s the raddest, most metal classes I’ve ever fucking SEEN, and I was around for the raw badassery of GBA Generals and Heros. Claude’s smile truly doesn’t reach his eyes; even in his in-game model, those eyes... they’re empty and I’d like to see that change. Claude is a visionary on par with Edelgard. I get sad thinking about how he’s gonna go back to Almyra probably.

E3 Advanced Plus: Supporting Gut Health and Managing Gluten-Related Disorders

Maintaining good gut health is crucial for overall wellness, and one way to support it is by taking supplements specifically formulated for gut health. E3 Advanced Plus is one such supplement that has gained popularity for its potential benefits in promoting gut health. In this blog, we will delve into what E3 Advanced Plus is, how it can support gut health, and its potential benefits for those with gluten-related disorders.
What is E3 Advanced Plus?
E3 Advanced Plus is a gut health supplement developed by Bioletics, a company dedicated to producing innovative supplements for health and wellness. The supplement contains a blend of prebiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and other nutrients that support gut health.
How can E3 Advanced Plus support gut health?
The ingredients in E3 Advanced Plus work together to support different aspects of gut health. Here’s a breakdown of some of its key ingredients and their potential benefits:
1. Prebiotics: Prebiotics are a type of fiber that serves as food for beneficial gut bacteria. By providing these bacteria with the nourishment they need to thrive, prebiotics can help promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria.
2. Probiotics: Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are beneficial to health, especially for the digestive system. They help maintain the balance of beneficial bacteria in the gut, which can help support immune function and promote digestive health.
3. Digestive enzymes: Digestive enzymes help break down food into smaller, more easily absorbed components. This can aid in digestion and nutrient absorption, which is essential for maintaining good gut health.
4. Glutamine: Glutamine is an amino acid that is essential for the health of the intestinal lining. It can help strengthen the barrier function of the gut, which can help prevent harmful substances from entering the bloodstream.
5. Slippery elm bark: Slippery elm bark is a natural ingredient that has been used for centuries to soothe digestive issues. It can help relieve inflammation in the gut and may also help prevent damage to the intestinal lining.
Benefits for those with gluten-related disorders
E3 Advanced Plus may be especially beneficial for those with gluten-related disorders such as celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. These conditions can cause inflammation and damage to the gut lining, which can lead to digestive issues and nutrient deficiencies.
The glutamine in E3 Advanced Plus can help support the health of the gut lining, while the digestive enzymes can aid in the breakdown and absorption of nutrients. The probiotics and prebiotics can also help promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria, which is important for those with gluten-related disorders since imbalances in gut bacteria have been linked to these conditions.
Conclusion
E3 Advanced Plus is a gut health supplement that contains a blend of prebiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and other nutrients that support gut health. Its ingredients work together to promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria, aid in digestion and nutrient absorption, and support the health of the gut lining.
