Man I wish...

I wish Sam, Leah, and Sebastian can have career event just like Eliott does because it's kinda depressing to see Leah no longer create much and Sam doesn't sing/becoming a musician because he did well with the concert in Zuzu city. I'm not saying being a stay at home partner is bad but you can have both a career and home life at the same time! Nearly everyone on earth does that! I wish Sam can still pursue music and goes on tour like Eliott and his book

I wish Sebastian can work on his game that he plan and we see the progress. And poor poor Leah, let her sell those artworks online or set up an event in the valley to show her works! As an artist it kills me to see her doesn't do much after married to the farmer :/

IS THIS A FELLOW WITHER & BLOOM FAN I SEE ? No but fr you have absolutely immaculate taste in jiuyuan fics and I hardly see anyone talk abt that absolute masterpiece and so if it's not a bother..

I have so many feels about that fic and Jiuyuan’s pining, but it all just boils down to: Hou Xianrong can go rot in hell :)

But seriously, it’s a beautifully written story even though it can get difficult/painful to read sometimes 😬 (see above). I think I love the reveal/reunion scene the most tho. How a simple thing like a nosebleed could lead to finding out just how fucked you really are and the yearning~ my goodness 😭 

As for the street urchin jiuyuan pic, that was not intentionally for wither and bloom (I just wanted to draw young pissed off Shen Jiu and was wondering why he looked that way—realized everything is better with Jiuyuan lol) but it worked perfectly for it! Shen Jiu is fiercely protective of those he counts as his and I think that’s what sells me on this ship 🥺

1. A song you liked as a child

Scrooge from The Muppet Christmas Carol! There is actually a home movie of wittle me, age 2, singing along to this song while my mum, dad, and I bake Christmas cookies. I always loved imitating all the characters' voices (even adding in lines like "Please, sir, I want some cheese!" at the proper moment).

8. A song from a soundtrack

Prologue from Anastasia! In my opinion, Anastasia has the single best musical soundtrack of any animated film not produced by Disney, and this instrumental in particular has accompanied so much of my creative writing, from the time I was a kid. The use of Russian lyrics in the score reminds me so much of The Hunchback of Notre Dame's use of Latin (and Hunchback was released only two years before Anastasia, so I don't think that's a complete coincidence) -- it just pluses the climax of the piece so much.

17. A cover song

To Love's End (cover) by Eliott Tordo! All of this guy's stuff is gold, but this cover of Inuyasha's core love theme in my few is the best adaptation of this melody I've ever heard in my life. My heart just swells!!

So Paridiso's Found items in it's lost and found list has some great easter eggs, though one stumps me. Sapphire heart shape Necklace - Titanic obviously. Antique Digitial music player - I can't figure this one out. Going by the others, it's a very famous film, nothing too new though as the others came out 1998, 1982 and 2001. Red and white bicycle - ET as Eliott's bicycle was red and white. Gold Ring - Lord of the Rings.
