“ Ah- Himidora-sama, you got the signal too-? I couldn’t seem to locate anything around here... ”

The internships were...something interesting, alright. She’d been spending hers with her cousin, as she just couldn’t be alone normally. It was mandatory by the rules the detectives had given her. However, she couldn’t just stand by and let something potentially fatal occur- any signal she got could be a cry for help. And so, she ended up separating from Mamoru.

The signal had lead her to a dead end, however. Deep in the bad area of town, one where villains would thrive- but not once did she THINK it could be some sort of trap. One targeting her specifically. 

Then, one of the upperclassmen showed up- naturally, she’d assumed he’d also gotten the signal. However, a feeling of unease settled in her stomach as she saw Tokasu get closer, not saying a w o r d as he backed her into a corner. 

“ ...H-Himidora-sama, a-are you oka- ”

And then, there was a searing heat on her shoulder as she was practically forced against the wall, a warmth v e r y close to her face. She didn’t even realize she’d shut her eyes when she flinched, but now it was very, very obvious considering HER MASK WAS MELTING while still on her face. It was even dripping down by her eyes, meeting her skin with an intense heat- b u r n i n g her face.

She let out a shrill scream as the melting plastic made her skin BUBBLE- ultimately blinding her. She tried to take it off as quick as she could before it could completely melt, only to be met by an even more intense heat. She could literally feel her arm catching F I R E, and her other arm she couldn’t even FEEL with how long his other hand had been on it. He might have burned through her muscles with the time.

“ H-Himidora- S-STOP IT, P L E A S E - ! ! ! ”

Her cries only seemed to get louder and more pathetic as the heat intensified- this time no longer around her face, but around her chest. In front of her heart. The fire spreading across her hero uniform was bad enough, but this was actually scaring her and exhausting too much of her energy. Still somewhat blinded, she had to force herself to turn human as to not slam onto the ground, in a coma right then and there. 

“ St-Stop, p-please- it h u r t s - ”

The stress and panic of it all was actually making her nauseous- she couldn’t feel either of her arms now. She wanted to v o m i t.

That was when she felt something p r e s s against her chest, against the spot right by her heart- and that’s when everything went white. In a second, the flames burned right through her skin, right through her muscle and fat- and made direct contact with her organs. The smell of it was just a w f u l - but she didn’t get to experience it as her heart was literally b u r n e d. 

The tracker in her leg let off a signal the moment the pulse had stopped as she fell limp, getting a shock similar to that of a defibrillator from the tiny device. It was the last ditch attempt to try and keep Scrawl’s target alive- and the moment it hadn’t worked, it’s creator had already sent something to retrieve the body.

Seemingly not even a minute afterwards, a loud growl could be heard above the dead body as the sunlight that could have gone through was blocked. Black, sticky drool dripped down from above as the centipede-like creature circled around the two, mainly taking a focus in the girl- acting as if it were something important. One of it’s eyes shifted to glare RIGHT at Tokasu, and with a sick crack, it- it SPOKE.

“ ＹｏＵ ｈＵＲｔ ｏＵｒ ＳｉＢＬｉＮＧ．ｙＯｕ ａＲｅ Ｅ ｎＥＭｙ. ”

Hesitantly, the creature grabbed the body with it’s own mouth, seemingly resistant to all traces of the heat left on it as it slithered it’s way out of the area, not at all caring about attacking this clear m u r d e r e r. The charred taste made it gag a bit- but that was the least of its worries. It just wanted it’s sister to be better.

All it was sent to do was retrieve a target- not to engage in combat. And it would perform that duty as it’s mother commanded.

向東非出發 之 倒數四週找不回十一磅

自從我下定決心要增肥的時候我就開始狂吃。剛好前陣子有病人送我 Dairy Queen 的 Dilly Bar，所以我就每天狂吃冰淇淋。後來聽說吃 milk shake 比較有效，就開始吃 Dairy Queen 的 strawberry milk shake。由於 Dairy Queen 就在我們診所附近，那裡的老闆和員工都會給我打折扣，或者給我 super size。結果想不到造成反校果，原本要增肥弄得我瀉肚子。

上次去看金髮靚仔專科醫生 Dr. D. 他就笑我因為我在吃 "weight gainers"。靚仔醫生還問我說是不是因為診所太忙所以沒有好好吃午餐所以體重下降？這有關我老闆名譽我當然不會亂說，明明就是因為之前生病所以瘦。總之要我瘦可能比要我胖還容易！

找不回就是找不回，我還是好好專注於練肌肉比較好。

話說回來，不知不覺就剩下四星期了。最近異常地忙碌。除了安排時間打針、見醫生、健身、為學校奔走、找地方住以外，工作上還要帶新人，還有朋友來溫哥華安排時間見面和教會主日學還有打週報金句的服事，過得相當充實！在工作的時候更是超人一般地眼觀四處耳聽八方！忙得團團轉時根本不知到身處何方。然而，永遠都有不足的地方。我永遠不能讓大家百分之百地滿意。

最近又好想聽 Bach 的 Air On G String，可能是之前看「珠光寶氣」時不斷地重複的背景音樂的關係，今晚突然想聽 Sweetbox 的 Everything's Gonna Be Alright。巴哈的音樂有一種魔力，好像可以讓人放鬆。對於這首 Air On G String 我真的是強力推薦！
