🪾 Astrology Observations 6

🦂 People who have scorpio (Pisces rising) or Chiron in the 9th house have a difficult time with education. They usually encounter problems not made by them in the area and thus, are forced to earn earlier than their peers. (Problems could be things like parents refusing/unable to pay for their higher education, disabilities popping up that hamper them)

🌚 I have noticed that weirdly gemini moons also start working earlier than their peers but that is usually not because of limitations or financial problems but ambitions. They want stimulation and experience. Jobs help them stay calm. (If they are not pursuing their personal endeavours)

🕷️ I have a theory of the 6th house being a malefic. In ancient astrology, "jobs" were looked down upon. This was because being an agricultural civilization, vedic/ancient astrologers used to think jobs=labour=exploitation. While not a lot has changed in modern day (lol) but we still have better living conditions as compared to toiling in the fields and doing minimum wage jobs. Since the 6th house is considered the house of jobs, having planets here means that you'd be more likely to work a job. This is why planets in the 6th house were considered to be bad. This, and the fact that it's also the house of enemies.

However, when it comes to modern day, my personal observation is that people who have malefics in this house Mars, Pluto, Saturn, constantly struggle with jobs and end up working in places that have a toxic work environment. Martian influence especially is common among people who are fired out of nowhere. The flip side is also true. If you have benefics such as venus or Jupiter, it's actually not a bad placement for your work life. You'd be able to gain recognition more easily and your work will be rewarded.

🎠 ketu + Saturn in the first house feels like a cursed placement throughout life. These people have to learn to escape their fundamental self to achieve what they want. It's one of those placements where you need to let the universe take the reins after working hard. If you ignore that and give into your desires, it'll fail you. A very painful transformative placement that feels like a life long lesson.

👹 let's talk about the guru chandal yog. One of the most hated placements. If jupiter sits with Rahu (North Node), it'll create this yog. This is a "blessing stopper" placement. You can be an expert in an area and this yoga can make you lose horribly in that field. It can take away opportunities in hand. If Jupiter is in a rahuvian nakshatra, this yog can be seen forming. This can only be countered if Jupiter sits in the 4th house or is exalted. Double whammy if the moon is well placed.

🌟 jupiter in the 1st house is THE optimist placement. You tend to ovestimate yourself and while a lot of times god himself saves your ass, you'd benefit from being a realist than an optimist. And check your zodiac for this?? I've always overestimated how much school work I can do. I have my jupiter in Capricorn. Lol. I met someone with a jupiter in cancer and she's an absolute optimist when it comes to her being a "caring person". Like she'll commit to everyone: she'll commit to hang out with you while simultaneously promising to do your homework and also cook for you and then everything falls apart because how are you going to do all of this together, girl. 😭

🫀 this is not my observation but someone else's but it kinda fit true in my case so I'm just checking if y'all see this happened with any of y'all. You tend to meet your spouse early in life if you have a jupiter + venus conjunction (especially in the 3rd, 5th, 9th or 11th house), your 7th lord or darkaraka planet in 3rd, 5th, 9th or 11th house. You may also meet your spouse as kids and then get together with them later in life.

🌙 where your moon is, you'd look for validation there. It's in the 11th house, you'd want to have validating friendships, 2nd house? Yep. You value yourself in your ability to make money, have savings. Moon nakshatra's can also have an effect here.

🕸️ I think people don't understand why astrologers love exalted planets so let me put in a thought as to why exaltation is awesome. Let's say your sun is exalted (in Aries) but Saturn sits there too (Saturn debilitates in Aries). But, Saturn won't be able to give bad effects because the Sun will "handle" it. If you have an exalted planet and another planet who is weak or debilitated is sitting with it, it'll not create a problem. I can also see this in parivartan yog. Although I feel the effects somewhat are different? Like exalted planets are self assured and confident by themselves but let's say, you have a parivartan yog with Sun-Saturn. So, if you're not feeling confident, some planet that is strong in your chart will come out and help you up. How do I know? Personal experience. My Saturn and Mercury are in parivartan yog. With Mercury, sits my sun. I also have a parivartan yog between Jupiter and Saturn. So yeah, I had stage fright (weakened Sun characteristic), wasn't sure of my public speaking skills. Guess who always encouraged me? My uncle (mercury), grandma (Saturn) and then I finally met a teacher who pushed me to face those fears and actually get rid of my public speaking and stage fright (Jupiter). Isn't that interesting?

💱 Taurus moons and their motivation for money need to be respected. They are so focused and strict when it comes to money. Love it!

❤️‍🔥 Everytime I see the 7th house lord in 8th, I just know this person is going to make huge sacrifices for their relationship/marriage to work. This is because 7th house lord, indicator of marital life, comes into the house of transformation: 8th house. I've seen people move places, quit their jobs, sacrifice their careers for love if they have this placement.

📛 Funnily enough, after my "mars darkaraka men are toxic" observation, I met some women whose darkarakas were mars and one of them straight up admitted she likes "the bad boys" 😭 😭 and is very aware so she started dating a guy that she'd not label as a bad boy and it's her happiest relationship ever

🐈‍⬛ Weirdly, strong mercurial energy in the 6th house (House zodiac is virgo or gemini), Rahuvian or ketuvian influence and especially, Jupiter influence makes the native a pet lover. All the people who love to keep pets in their house and even take care of strays like their own have such strong mercury/Jupiter energy or have their 6th house lord make connection with their chart mercury/, Jupiter. Also, I know someone who has Jupiter there and she'll just randomly adopt any pet she can. 😭 😙❤️ She's the type you see on tiktok making reels like "I brought this dog/cat randomly without telling my spouse" I love y'all sm. Another fun thing I've seen is that mercury and jupiter influence makes you ohk with any animal as a pet (especially if you have Uranus there) but rahuvian influence makes a lot of people to have cats and ketu's influence tells me you're very likely to have a dog as a pet. Explaining Dignities: Exaltation

The reason why I want to talk about them is because I've actually seen dignities play a big role in readings, as they do describe how well or adverse certain matters can play out for the querent...so here's a little analogy to understand them better!

Context: In Hellenistic (traditional) astrology, exalted planets are said to be like the favorite guests of a given sign (host), so the resources they have at their disposal are equal or even greater than the host's. In other words, imagine a queen or king being invited to a neighboring kingdom, they will be treated with the greatest of honors and commodities! In a practical aspect, this means that the qualities of that planet (the guest) will be able to shine at their maximum, making that particular area of life (house) easier or more fortunate for the owner of the birth chart.

*Mind that below I’m speaking metaphorically of “house” as the SIGN the planet is exalted, and not the astrological house as such (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.). *

Sun in Aries: Sun is a friend of Mars, as both rule fire signs and are leaders by nature. "Why is Saturn debilitated in Mars' Sign, but Mars is exalted in Saturn's sign?"

I came across this question on threads and wanted to share my answer here for those of you who might have a similar question regarding this exaltation, along with exaltations & debilitations in general.

To make this a little easier to understand I want to breakdown the planets as ppl. Saturn is the energy of the "butler" in astrology and Mars is the "general". (For reference understanding, the other traditional ruling planets are as follows: Sun= King, Moon= Queen, Mercury=Prince, Venus=Princess, Jupiter=Advisor).

Before we get started, I want to make a huge note here: exaltations & debilitations have *nothing* to do with friendly or enemy planets and *everything* to do with which zodiacal energy brings out the best & worst from each planet.

The Sun, who is the King, is exalted in Aries, which is the energy of the battlefield, and where the King obtains glory. So the butler, who is Saturn, doesn't thrive in Aries and actually struggles to fulfill his duties.

Why is that?

Well, Saturn is good at following rules and staying within boundaries, serving others, and keeping order, and it's also the same reason why he fails to uphold order in Aries— the battlefield is way too chaotic.

👉🏽Remember: Aries is explosive, spontaneous, sporadic energy. It's competitive and ego driven— "I have to be number one!" This is dramatically different compared to both of Saturn's domiciles, Capricorn & Aquarius— both of which relate to the collective, not the individual. It's part of the reason Saturn thrives in Libra. It's because he does best when considering others.

Saturn fails to function well in Aries due to his inability to easily put order to chaos. Saturn in Aries actually *requires* the energy of Libra -- diplomacy, compromise, balance, and harmony to grow.

One of the other commenters on that thread spoke about the potential violence of Saturn in Aries— at it's worst manifestation, it'll be "overbearing (Saturn) dominance (Aries)", because Saturn in Aries has the potential to become an absolute tyrant. 😬 It's a hard placement in order to force extreme growth (all debilitations are).

BUUUUUT, wherever Mars is will also influence the severity of Saturn in Aries as well as some other factors like mutual reception, conjunctions, squares, and oppositions with Saturn mainly, but also with Mars.

Now, let's address why Mars is exalted in Saturn's sign Capricorn.

Mars is the "general", right? The general, the army on a more grand scale, *thrives* off of strong structure and rules. Capricorn is rules, tradition, structure, the bones, the foundation, the plan, the map, etc. This provides the perfect middle ground of control for Mars to thrive in, because Mars has two different extremes.

In Aries, Mars is sporadic and impulsive— all over the place— and in Scorpio, Mars goes waaaay too deep, too focused, too intense, too obsessive, mmk? So with Capricorn providing the outline and the structure, it keeps Mars balanced and more directed. Capricorn *channels* Mars’ powerful energy— provides the perfect environment to get the best out of Mars.

So this is less about "why does it do well in one ruler's house?" and more about which type of zodiacal energy allows a planet to thrive and bring out the best from it or which sign hampers a planet's abilities the most.

Granted, this is the foundational aspect, but always remember that rulerships and hard aspects (conjunctions, squares, & oppositions) can play a big part in this.

For example, in my sidereal chart, I have Venus in Virgo, which is a debilitated position, but it's with my Mercury in Virgo, too, which is Mercury's domicile and exaltation point and ends up boosting my Venus and gives me a love for small cute things and manifests through my love for chibi things, youthful fashion, and delicate jewelry.

Disclaimer: this was actually inspired by the fact that I've met so many Mars in Cancer and Mars in Cap people with Mars very prominent in their chart but I also have Mercury in Pisces, so this is half personal experience and half observation. Also I am in no way trying to be negative about Mars in Cancer, my Mars is conjunct my moon so I get it. Love you guys.

I have been extroverting a lot lately and the one thing I've come to a hard conclusion on is that Exaltation and Fall placements are nothing like domicile and detriment placements. At all. Exaltation and Fall placements seem to either highlight the planets "best" traits or the planets "worst" traits. While domicile and detriment has to do with the sign understanding(or not understanding) the importance of the planet that its placed in. For example, most mars in Libra people that I meet say that they find aggression and very hostile conflict almost laughable and a complete waste of time. Whilst Mars in Cancer?? Will straight up shank you in the ribs if you piss them off.

Anyway a quick summary because I'm busy as hell:

Mars in Cancer vs Capricorn: Most Capricorn Mars people that I've met tend to highlight the best traits of Mars(note: this does not make them good people), they're very strategic, patient, direct when they absolutely need to be but never too blunt or harsh, very aware of their goals, desires and surroundings but also aware of those in others. Laser focus, especially when they're older. Very disciplined when it comes to things they're working toward(I mean this in the sense that they do things they have to do even when they don't want to). Mars in Cancer on the other hand, highlights the worst traits of Mars and they can actually be hyper aggressive and it really makes sense that they tend to do that. Cancer + Aries + Scorpio??? Sounds like a whole lot of me, me, me and my feelings with no restrictions. They can be very hostile if they don't like you, very sweet if they do, but its in that way that Mars tends to play favourites because its so self-focused. Vengeful, can be spiteful as all hell. Very, and I mean VERY, in touch with their personal values and can be unwilling to compromise, which can be great because they hold themselves accountable to those feelings. Direct and forceful, tends come out of the blue sometimes though. Very little patience or tolerance for things they don't like. Don't bother to hide any negative traits they may have, especially if they have justified the behavior to themselves. Discipline is replaced with intensity and genuine desire, can be quite sporadic. Suspicious of other people. Touchy ego. Surprising strong need for freedom, look after "their own" before anyone else. Mama bear levels of protective, but it always comes out a little unhinged.

Naturally, being the 8th house, the obsession will be very secretive and can involve frequently checking their socials, following them and just “happening” to be at the same place at the same time… generally just creeping on them in secret. The connection is likely to be very one-sided, with the house person being much more intrigued and concerned with the planet person. The planet person may be completely oblivious to these feelings. Mars in the 1st house (on men): these dudes are HOTTT. They give manly man vibes, the “I’ll jump in a burning building for you” vibes. These guys have big sex appeal and are usually walking red flags (but people dig that lowkey). They are usually very confident and aren’t scared to make the first move. If they want you they will have you (even if it’s only for the short term). These people however can be very cocky & sex obsessed if not careful. This placement is also hot in women but I notice in women this placement has a tendency to crash out a lot or start arguments a lot. I’ve also seen they can come off too strong (for a woman according to society) creates more of a Tomboy vibe/masc vibe in chics they aren’t traditionally “feminine”. A thing I've noticed is that degrees can carry some energy from the dignities. For example if you have your Mercury in 21º degree in whatever sign, that mercury can express characteristics of debilitation since that's a sagittarius degree and mercury is debiltated in sagittarius

Aquarius placements, specially venus, appear picky when choosing their friends or people they truly like but honestly I've noticed that all they want is someone who has a personality. Like literally just be your own person and they’ll love seeing how you’re someone with many layers to you.
