What's up guys, update just dropped! It sure is something to try and decipher, huh. We've got pages of new stuff to go over, so let me learn you a thing about all the events and mishaps that happened on the server this week!

Lava on the dance floor! There's a party held in a lava pool with Button-Stitches and their carers! Other creatures and carers do some egg-sploring and interior decorating. Newer players build their starter houses, but don't let that fool you: even friend invites are being rate-limited because there's just that many players.

Some players take advantage of the sheer amount of ping lag to add in a sheer amount of FPS lag! Bel, Steel, and their friends have a shader player taking some lovely photographs.

Of course, lore and story are significant on this server, and some eggs have unpleasant pasts. Other eggs make their own unpleasant pasts, by obtaining things like the Evil Knife and Amongus Shoes. In the face of such difficult things, the French quarter shows everyone how to properly cope by slutting it up on the warpstones.

And even though things are tough, love still blooms on the server with the first divorce proposal. Big feelings need big words to express them, but sometimes actions speak better than a word ever could.

And now, The Gubby.

Special Event! A Banquet was held for the members of the server with food and drinks from the community farm! Over 70 people RSVP'd and just as many attended, so much that extra chairs had to be brought in for the table. And a special guest crashed the party, everybody meet White Baby.

The white baby continues to appear around the server. Each time, the sky goes black. It is not friendly. There are two attacks at spawn, an attack at the Bog, and an attack at Pirate Cove. It's targeting the creatures. The Fair Folk begin to build circular gardens, something that has never gone wrong before. And the perimeter of the world is fully explored by resident hope sunsail!

A conspiracy theory against the dark magician begins, and an entire room is built dedicated to it. More creatures populate the server, with one splat receiving a second egg named hima after the japanese word for sunflower. The server's first court case happens -- the Quarterly will release a special episode covering it soon.

Spires of sculk begin to push up from the ground around the server. And oh my goodness me, viewers, does it come with one hell of a biome. A new business opens on the server, residents can now hire a hitman baby!

The admins also open a new business: for the low low price of sacrificing someone with over 40 levels, you can obtain one vial of transmuting elixir! This elixir has many uses, including fighting a boss mob.

And, of course, some more autistic minecraft behaviors vis a vis mining for so long Doll started dying of starvation. Further sculk and void pillars arose and suspicion of the Void Followers begins to brew. Rosa's sharestone disappears. Puzzles and riddles are discovered and solved.

That's just about it for this episode, so we leave the server with a firm You can't be acting like that White Baby

Hello! I know you're one of the people who ship Moon and Solar (TSAMS) And y'all have gotten me into the ship as well! XD I'm not caught up on the lore of the show(s) So i haven't even seen Solar IN SHOW before (i am very behind to before Lunar was Sun and Moons brother :' D) But I have some ideas I'm debating writing for the ship buttt....I have no clue how Canon Solar acts??? Do you know if theres somewhere I could find a Summary on his personality? (and I suppose...new Moon?) I'll probably unintentionally make them OOC...never written for anything TSAMS related, but i'll try!

And is there a ship names thats...like used for them instead of Solar X Moon or is it just called that?

Heheheh. Thank you. I've been shipping these two since June 2023 so I'm glad I can share the brainrot and some people are more welcoming and cool then I expect. (mostly the ones who can't think critically are the youtube audience but that's expected. Since a lot of the youtube target audience are... like.. minors or really young adults who can't conceive the concept.)

I rewatch that Episode where Solar changes his name and rebuilds the Daycare in a week just for Moon constantly cause it's just... so much admiration and appreciation Moon has for Solar in that episode. I swear I don't know if it was a flub on the actor's part... but I swear Moon calls him 'sexy' as he's dragging him to charge. the stock sound effect of "OOOOH" doesn't help my APD and I've listened so many times and I have no possible idea what Moon could be saying to Solar other then 'come here you stupid, sexy-...." (trails off) sooo... idk. I might have misheard that severely but that's just what I'm hearing.

Like, in terms of New Lore of the show, it gets pretty complicated.

So complicated in fact, TSAMS themselves released a new video on the subject.... But it's NOT a very good guide, as it misses a lot of things. (and no I don't mean the stupid guest cameo stuff) this is more or less an abridged take on what happens with no emotional impact:

Like, this is a good starting point if you want the barest of bones, but it misses so much stuff. I think they don't even mention how Solar gets introduced into this family. lol. Just like "yeah Im here and I helped kill Eclipse" fheahehf. It's a super well made video though, and I don't mind the editing mistakes (clearly when the actors change the avatar on screen.... whoops. Happens a few times)

There is also the Fan Wiki, but as of now, it is incomplete, (@twinanimatronics is working tirelessly on updating the wiki and I wish they got more reconignition from the tsams community as a whole ) but it does give a decent look into Solar

There is also the huge TSAMS Lore Document, which Ceph(twinanimatronics) also worked on which contains a further detailed explanation of the story so far, for those who don't have time to watch 2 years worth of youtube content that aren't in a concrete playlist. (TSAMS. PLAYLIST YOUR STUFF PROPERLY. YOU HAVE TWO YEARS OF LORE HERE)

Liike.... yeah... this is okay but like..

This is VRchat. Aka the lore. Which also includes when they play videogames in VRchat, which don't impact the story... Like Uno, Amongus and SCP stuff.....

And it doesn't divide the arcs. Something that TSAMS severely needs more then any other SB Show channel.

Also, in the early days, the gameplay videos USED to be part of the lore. As the concept of Eclipse itself, being a rouge evil ai that lived in Sun's head (as it was presented initially but we know the truth it was the killcode moon planted in Sun when they separated.)

These days, they kinda dropped the gameplay videos being directly connected to the over arching plot. Other then just saying that their vids are pre-recorded or "we're back" after an annual halloween takeover.

Not to mention... When Earth and Lunar got a show, they became intertwined with the Sun and Moon show. LAES is very much it's own thing, but it's the ONLY Security Breach Show that consists of two Original Characters spawned from the Sun and Moon show. A rarity. So their lore continues off from the Sun and moon show, giving more info on Lunar these days and Earth (their sister)

Then you have the Monty and Foxy show (which is my least favorite of the shows... Personal Preference. I try not to complain cus I know some people like it. But I do not like the plot points in that show, or the character writing and weird directions they take while being connected to the same universe.)

And Monty is a character voiced by Davis, who also voices Sun. So Monty started out as a prominent character on the Sun and Moon Show, and then got his OWN show... at a point in TSAMS history after Eclipse got the star and killed Lunar.

So yeah. I wish the playlists were better organized here. So we knew when each era starts.

(people say Matpat should get on this show lore... And noooooooo no thanks. Keep him away. We got you covered. Ceph honestly has enough info to make a video guide at this point.)

But long story short, Solar is a "Good Eclipse" from another dimension that the Old Moon introduced to Lunar, when Lunar was struggling with his trauma of leaving Eclipse. Good Eclipse and Lunar become friends.

Anyway, here are some key episodes that outline NewMoon and Solar's relationship, as Solar had never met the Old Moon.

Old Moon had never met Solar. It was New Moon who introduced himself to Solar to help defeating Eclipse once and for all. (and by this point lunar had died)

He was actually surprised that this Moon was a chill Moon and could be reasoned with and talked to, considering he was living a rather oppressive life from his own Moon.

There's also a whole episode saga of just these two bantering and talking while they work on the satellite together. I can't remember which specific episodes those are.

You can also see the difference between the Evil Eclipse and Good Eclipse here in one of my all time favorite episodes:

Moon saving Solar's life: (also the death of the bad Eclipse)

Everything is good and happy after Eclipse dies for awhile. (aside of Ruin and Bloodmoon wrecking shit) He goes back to his own dimension... and you get to see what his sad life is like:

From his Moon calling him "byproduct" and failure very often.

But... Something happens and Solar is forced to come to Moon's dimension

here's Solar at his poor little meow meow "I have nowhere to go" stage and just... thought to go to Moon immediately due to their history.

Moon's only question about Solar moving in, is that if he wanted him to blacklist his dimension once he heard what was going on with his Moon.

And immediately, Solar jumps in to help Moon with his problems.

Also during the halloween takeover part 2 electric boogaloo, Solar was the one to help get Sun and Moon back after being teleported to a different dimension with no hopes of returning

Also, after Ruin was cured and Bloodmon ran off, Solar rebuilt the ruined Daycare in a week. And Moon is so grateful for it. (i rewatch this episode a lot. It cemented the ship in my mind and built the commodity that they've been building up for months)

We also get what Solar's daily life is like so far... How out of place he feels, being someone from a different dimension, despite the Brothers (and sister's) insistence, he still doesn't really feel like he's part of the family. He feels like an outsider. (He also has less opportunities to hang out with Lunar. As he expressed interest in playing games with him like the good old days, and as of recently, they have not yet)

also a good example of the Celestial family changing minds on family dynamics because they are robots. Lunar flat out rejected Vegeta-Animatronic is his brother even if he technically is. Like, they're robots. They can change their relationships to each other based on their word. I like to see it more flexible then it is in reality with actual people/humans.

Moon also trying to make Solar feel comfortable and feel like he's adjusting well here. Expressing his concern for him doing so much for him and his family. And hoping to not pressure him into so much work.

As of recently, his Sun died, and he killed his Moon. And in his therapy session (on the Lunar and Earth Show) he expressed regret over "Leaving" them...

But he has not properly told anyone about this.

My reasoning is that he probably thinks that the family will jump on the chance to call him "Evil" .....They don't have good luck with Eclipses.... and every Eclipse they met other than him has been Evil. (that must weigh on you. Every version of yourself is deemed as evil across every dimension. You are the only good one. Maybe there is something wrong with you)

I'm already at the video limit, but on Lunar and Earth show, there is an interesting episode where Lunar goes into Solar's head, and his mindscape looks like the Willy Wonka TV room, because it was a movie he watched with his Sun before they separated and Sun died. Showing that he did care about his Sun a whole lot... Which is probably why he doesn't interact with our Sun that much alone.

He also compartmentalizes everything before he can feel emotions, playing his own memories in third person as if he's not experiencing them.

Not to mention, he organizes and separates his thoughts on NewMoon and HIS Moon, just so he won't associate the two.

I also missed what episode it was, but Solar is always the first to call Moon out when he's being angry, or irrational, and Sun admits in his therapy session, that Solar is the only person who can calm Moon down. (mainly cus he's used to it, but unlike his old moon, this moon listens)

Anyway...

The way it goes is themed after infinite realities, death,, living and basically heaven? Which i came up with after having like several years of haunting dreams LOL

For the longest time since i was little ive had dreams of being in some sort of messed up apocalypse so thats what the mind is from!! His name is Xiety and he looks like me when i had those dreams, or like some fucked up bird thing heheh

After all that though i started having dreams where i was,, different people sort of?? Dreams with different povs or dreams where i lived entire different lives. Thats Jerri! the body.

The last little guy is called matthew and isnt based off any dreams but more based off the feeling i get when i realize im dreaming. Ive never lucid dreamed but ive always had like a moment to realize "this isnt my life" and im just like viewing whats happeining o_0

All together i made a story for when they get sort of seperated, Xiety, the mind is seperated from the two in a apocalyptic world they have control over and hides the heart (matthew). The body being basically a carbon copy of itself just wanders around this world. Jerri cant remember how they got there or where they are from, but they die, over and over and over. Until eventually, they find the heart, in some rubble, and they sort of gain concious enough to realize "um im stuck in infinite zombie reality hell and this is NOT my reality" they take the plush and try to survive, but xiety kinda catches on and feels betrayed by this. He cant comprehend why on earth the body would want to live knowing what he knows (news flash only the mind knows what he knows of their og reality) HENCE the breaking out and being stuck in a infinite inbetween of constant realities woooo. Jerri and Matthew try to find to find the og reality, going through different bodies, meeting different minds and dying in ALOT of them. It becomes kinda clear that in most realities NONE of them do they live or are happy LMAO

that was like a shitty simplification BUT BESIDES ALLAT they litterally stumble into heaven and meet gods and Reapers and souls BUT they cant stay which SUCKS cuz imagine losing it it and one day people see you for yourself and you cant STAY cuz ur technically not dead just abstracted into peices and yaddah yaddah more ocs hehehe

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes! I love comments and I enjoy replying, and from talking to regular readers I think it helps encourage folks to comment. It's never something I expect from when I comment on other's fics, I just want to share my appreciation, but I always am happy to get replies myself.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Restraining myself to the past two years for specifics, I think You're Just A Little Boy, my transmasc La'an fic, has the most outright Unhappy Ending - at least for this fic, I might write a more hopeful follow up. I'll throw in when you're gone we won't say a word (but you know that's okay), my alternate future Pike fic, goes in for the most bittersweet, and I've definitely cried the most over it

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I write a lot of happy endings, but they're often threaded with a bit of angst or bittersweetness. Fungus Not-Amongus is altogether pretty delightful fluff for Tilly and Pike, though.

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

I have once or twice, but not for a good long while, I've been quite lucky

9. Do you write smut?

Not yet! Got a project or two down the pipe that might have some, but it's not something I typically write

10. Do you write crossovers?

Yes! All the time. In the past couple years, I've written Ghosts in Your Head, Ghosts in My Head, The Flash fic in a Pacific Rim setting, more of a fusion setting, but I'll count it. Intersections, with Spider Gwen & Squirrel Girl, which are technically both Marvel Comics, but I'll count them as a crossover event in the comics spirit. Artificial Survivor is more of a Untamed fic in a Murderbot fusion setting, but the Murderbot characters are technically alluded to, so I'll count that too. Plus there's the Star Trek/Star Wars crossover with Star Trek OC's I'm helping out on. Generally you can find a lot of crossovers I've written, I find them really fun.

Yes! A reader asked to translate a tonyrhodey fic a few years back

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Given that I specified solo-authored fics above, you can probably guess the answer to that is yes! 😁 I'm co-writing fic about ttrpg Star Trek characters - I play & write Chief Engineer Piper Hawthorne. @severeannoyance is our captain and @plokoonsdisapprovingeyebrows is our Star Wars expert for our Star Wars crossover fic.

14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?

Given that MITM is 1/4 of my solo wordcount, and I have updated it in the past two years, it's probably gotta be driftrod, at least for this ask. ask me next week, you might get a different answer 😂

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a West Wing / X-Men 2 crossover that's been sitting in docs for many many years. I might release some of the finished scenes at some point, like I did with E2bard, because there's lots of good stuff and I always have fun with the West Wing character voices

16. What’s your writing strengths?

Dialogue, introspection, and replicating particularly strong character and narrative voices

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

I tend to repeat phrases and overuse dashes, and don't expect much setting description XD

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I usually just indicate that something's in another language and keep it in the same language as the rest of the fic - English for me, I'm currently pretty monolingual, but I think other options are perfectly workable for other authors.

Not actually related to the question, but I've gotten comments in other languages or with phrases in other languages, and I always find them an especially high compliment - that my fic was not only worth reading in a language that wasn't someone's first, but that they also put in the time to leave a comment. I usually have to use a bit of google translate and ask my bilingual friends for help translating (thank you), but all the comments have been very nice.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I think I wrote what was Star Wars fanfic for vocab assignments back in middle school, though I didn't know that was what it was called. My first published fic was for Bleach.

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

Sticking in the past two years, Ghosts in Your Head, Ghosts in My Head is one I'm really proud of. And of course I have to mention Meet in the Middle, something I've stuck with for more than five years at this point.

KP's 2022 SPN Year in Review

Soooo much happened in my life in 2022 (well from end 2021 though 2022 really). I am so grateful for the friends both online and off who helped me get through it all 💜. I found myself focusing more on art and editing than writing - but I am really excited to share my Pinefest fic with you all in February!

The #1 creation I'm most proud of this year was my Haze Amv, but I am also blown away by how much my Me and My Broken Heart Amv took off - ending the year with almost 20k views - which is in-sane. Setting and sticking to a regular upload schedule has been motivating and rewarding - I'm excited to post January's video on Thursday too :).

Participating as an artist in a couple of bangs for the first time had me stepping out of my comfort zone and drawing the best human being I've ever drawn to-date.

Aside from making things, I also co-modded the new SPN Bang Bang with my friends @doctorprofessorsong and @you-cant-spell-subtext-without, which went wonderfully well; I"m excited for this year's round!

Last but not least, being an editor and guest for @endofthebookpod has been amazing so far, and I'm excited for the rest of The Winchesters season!

sorry this post had been driving me crazy. not because i disagree with the point that not every indie game has a furry in it but becasue i knew for a fact that there were furries in outer wilds and a hat in time. turns out i am certain that most of these games have a character i would call a furry, and some have a charatcer that i could probably call a furry, and three of them let you wear an animal themed hat. my sincerest apologies to all involved in the original post please treat this as the ravings of a madman rather than a serious critique

my personal definition of a furry is an animal character that walks on two legs and behaves in a humanlike manner, or a human character who dresses/appears in some way like an animal. if the beaft only fulfills one of these traits then i put it in the arguably category. i have also noted when i have not played a game and am simply pulling from the wiki

Today we revisit the Among Us meets Batman MINI SERIES. In "AMONG US ROBIN IMPOSTER !!! CREATION OMNIBUS" Robin is who we are drawing! We start with a pencil pass through ink and then digitally paint him to really bring him to life and give him some shine!

Not to mention hook him up with his own personal background too! His redesign is one of my quirkiest designs yet in this series and I threw in abit of cheekiness for good measure too.

This one is NOT as scary as the others (checkout the previous among us videos if you haven't already to see) that I have done and that means you may sleep well while this brings a smile to your face AND brighten up your day literally! Okay , it's theory time!

There is a spy in the muggleborn club and the death-eater-wannabes are behind it. Yes, I know. Not really mind blowing stuff.

Reasons why I think I might be wrong:

it's possible that the death-eater-wannabes just gathered the names by asking other Housemates;

they wrote the names of the students that changed in muggle clothes with Lily;

they followed a group of muggleborn students to bully them but then they found out about the club in the requirement room and since then they spied on them (but from outside of the club, if this makes sense);

possibly all the three above;

not all muggleborn students are part of the club (but we don't know if on the flyer there are actually the name of every single one of them so I decide to ignore this one);

no mentions of a club on the papers.

Now, why I think TLE is in its AmongUs era:

if you're a death-eater-wannabe and want to impress Voldemort, targeting muggleborns is the easiest way to do it, so why not after you gathered as much of them as possible in one place?;

Why do I think there's gonna be an attack (or at least an attempt to one)? Because of the "[redacted for TLE2 spoiler]" in the Jily kiss spoiler. James did something in 6th year and for Lily that is one of the reasons he's Head Boy in 7th year. And, honestly, I can't imagine James doing nothing while somebody's threatening muggleborns, not when the map is finally completed;

following my second point, then why did Lily mention that for the first time after months? Probably because she didn't know he was involved. It's more likely for the attack to take place after the meeting, when the students are all in the same corridor and if James and his friends would actually try something they would act before that happens, with the muggleborns still safe inside the room (and this new James would not ask for the spotlight for doing the right thing);

the reason for inviting Lily that late in the club is SUS (I'm sorry...). I mean, for a muggleborn is understandable to not want someone close to Snape as part of the club, but doesn't that also mean that she is now a target like the others? Even if Snape is part of this plan, I don't think he can do much. She's definitely one of the most talked about (I dare say also influential, muggle clothes protest?) muggleborn student after all;

I don't like that Hufflepuff 7th year boy;

the spy might be a halfblood, so that's why they know about muggle culture and they obviously have to demonstrate to the purebloods the soundness of their beliefs and support for the "cause";

There are probably a few more points I can add but I don't want to embarrass myself too much. Also, I'm going to copy and save this somewhere so if you will take pity of my detective skills and spare me from public embarrassment (yeah, it's an anon ask but I know I wrote it and that's enough) by not answering, I'll still be able to see if I got anything right lol

Update on Traitors of Salem

They called it a ‘Mini Role Reveal’

‘ Traitors in Salem will launch with many roles, some that Town of Salem players will be familiar with and some that are completely new. 

‘The Vigilante has a gun that he can use to shoot a Target but if he chooses wrong and shoots someone who isn’t a Traitor the Vigilante will die from guilt. (same as tos from what I understand)

The Lookout can activate their Eagle Eye ability to increase vision radius for a short time. (what does that mean? Is it like in Among Us where you only can see so much in the dark if you’re a crewmate? Also, they use ‘he’ pronouns for the vigi but ‘they’ pronouns for LO. Maybe they don’t wanna reveal the gender yet cause they have no skin yet? LO non binary?)

New to the Traitor faction, the Wraith is a killing role that also has the ability to go Invisible. The Wraith cannot kill while Invisible but can avoid detection. Like all Traitors, the Wraith can use teleporters to move around the map.’ (Welcome to the fandom Wraith. Also, teleporters? Susses Amongus? jk jk, but can u blame me for finding it so similar?)
