Gelenek vakti ve hâliyle hatırlatma vakti: İlk 20 albümden sonra falan sıralamaya pek takılmaya gerek yok. Tamamen kendi sevdiğim albümler, listenin bir iddiası yok. 1 - Matt Mars & Iceberg Theory - Ice Planet 5/5 22 Eylül 2022 çıkışlı Matt Mars & Iceberg Theory albümü. Iceberg Theory bir rapçi olarak baktığımızda her ne kadar “hit or miss” bi eleman olsa da, prodüktör olarak underground'ın henüz keşfedilmemiş cevherlerinden birisi kesinlikle. tam da 2022'de 5/5 tam puan verdiğim aoty adayı bi rap albümü olmadığını düşünürken bir anda önüme düştü bu albüm. İnsanı farklı diyarlara götüren, bütün derdini tasasını unutturan, ufak da nostaljik bir prodüksiyonun üzerinde yağ gibi akan Matt Mars. Albümü dinler dinlemez tüm anksiyetem stresim gitti resmen, her şeyi unuttum sanki. İkisinin de diskografisine bakınca bu sene birbirlerinden ayrı olarak epey bir albüm çıkarmışlar ama Ice Planet, Iceberg ve Matt'in birlikte çalıştığı ilk uzun proje. Matt Mars "I'm on a mission to rap everyday” derken harbiymiş gayet. İkilinin kimyası öyle acayip sıradışı değil tamam kabul ama kesinlikle dikkat çekici. 2023'te bu ikiliden daha çok proje görmek ümidiyle diyelim ne diyelim. “Future's looking bright, ima stay breathing.”

Mocking homeless people seems cruel. Mocking people who shop at Walmart (People of Walmart) seems snobbish. But mocking people who can afford plane tickets, especially business travelers, is the Lord's work. My boss is one of those people. Every self-important, lying big shot is one of those people. Which is why I think FreakJet is kind of cool.

Basically you see some crazy person at the airport, snap a photo, and send it in. If you've got the app on your phone, even easier.
