I've realized that I've read so many different AUs, that I see Sirius and Remus everywhere I go. It doesn't help that I'm writing this from a coffeeshop, imagining the two baristas being secretly hot for each other. I see Sirius as the sexy football (soccer) player or trainer at my son's practice, Remus as the shop assistant in my bookstore, the kind librarian, Reg as a kindergarten teacher, Remus as teacher basically anywhere I see or interact with a male teacher, any of jegulus or wolfstar as single dads on the playground, rockstars at a show, hockeyplayers, ice-skaters, Remus as a vet, Sirius as a businessman, both of them as baristas... Everywhere I go, everywhere I look... It's Marauders, bitch

Whumper who is a Writer

CONTENT WARNINGS: dehumanization, captive whumpee, torture, recorded torture sessions

Okay so hear me out.

Whumper’s writing a horror or mystery book, and has a Whumpee so they can recreate what they’re writing. It could range from torture, kidnapping, deprivation, captivation… almost everything’s fair game for Whumper.

Until the Whumpee doesn’t match what they’re writing about.

Whumper forces Whumpee to be who they’re writing about. Maybe they cut their hair, brand their skin, or tie them up in certain positions / hang them on certain heights to match the physical characteristics of their character/s. Maybe they would break their Whumpee before writing the draft of their book, so they can monitor Whumpee changing and write exactly what they look like. Both for immersion and accuracy.

Or maybe, Whumpee does match Whumper’s vision. It only makes it much easier for Whumper.

Whumper has a writing ritual. They usually set up some cameras and microphones to really capture the torture session. They would then position Whumpee where they want them to be, get their tools ready, and inflict as much pain as Whumpee could handle. Maybe it would reopen wounds that should be healing. Or maybe it would make Whumpee bear more injuries, wounds, and bruises. And it’s up to Whumper whether or not does Whumpee deserve such a privilege.

After recording the torture session, they would write the next chapter to their story. All Whumpee could hear was the fingers of Whumper typing away at another gruesome scene, as they laid in an exhausted pile of their own blood and sweat.

The Evolution Of A Wolfstar Girlie

(with my fic recommendations)me aged 10-23: there will never be a book I like more than Harry Potter. I love books and read all the time but Harry Potter is above anything. Reread HP everytime I am feeling down.

me aged 24-30: I lost the ability to read for pleasure. Just read to my kids and A LOT for work.

me at 31: *after a random tiktok video* Sirius and Remus were TOGETHER together?! Never even crossed my mind!!!

But... I get it.

But like... JKR didn't write it. Fanfic is just amateurs writing, right? I have enough of reading as is, I have to read for my job (I'm a translator).

But... They promised it's a HP experience. And I do have an eReader... It costs nothing to try it.

But... What the hell is ao3? What is smut??? Fluff??? HEA? MCD??? Cannon?? AU? Excuse me, is this English?!

wow. I am utterly amazed... cannot put this down at any point of the day. Reading while breastfeeding, reading all through the night. Reading all through the day. Learning how to read and braid my hair at the same time.

I keep thinking - why DO I love gay man/boys stories? How did it come to this? How is this FREE? How do I GIVE BACK to these AMAZING authors that are just doing incredible things for me? Like this is everything I've ever wanted from a book... and they're not even getting paid for this?!
