The second generation Galaxie 1960-64 was completely redesigned for a more futuristic and sleek look. Bodywork was restyled in 1961 and engine options changed. In 1963 Ford introduced the Galaxie 500 as a top line model. Engines consisted of a 292 Ci standard in the 500/XL a high performance 406 Ci was introduced and at the other end of the spectrum a 223 Ci six.. Only minor trim changes followed for 1963, but in mid-year a lower roofline (Sports Roof) was added to improve looks and to make the car more competitive on the NASCAR circuits together with a limited supply of the 427 Ci with 425 hp. For 1964 the final year of this generation trim was drastically altered the car became more aerodynamic, the 427 Ci engine continued and for racing a 427 Ci cammer engine developing 600 hp was used in stripped out lightweight racer, this engine was considered to powerful for the public. (hasonlók most is előfordulnak, csak USB-vel).
Luke Combs (33, elég megasztár Country énekes) adja most elő. Nem ritka, hogy férfi előadóknál a „And I work in a market as a checkout girl” rész változhat, de ő így adja elő.
Vannak a dalban erős döntések, nekem ez a mondat jut sokszer eszembe: „I said, somebody's got to take care of him, So I quit school, and that's what I did.”

150 Ford Galaxie 500 (3rd Gen) 2 door Hardtop (1967) YTA 830 E by Robert Knight Via Flickr: Ford Galaxie (3rd Gen) 2 door Hardtop (1965-68) Engine 352 cu in (5800cc) FE V8 Registration Number YTA 830 E (Devon) FORD USA SET www.flickr.com/photos/45676495@N05/sets/72157623789312836.. The Galaxie was an all new design for the 1965-68 model years , featuring vertically stacked dual headlights in what was becoming the fashionable style in a car somewhat taller and bulkier than the previous year's. Suspension on the 1965 models was dramatically redesigned. Replacing the former leaf-spring rear suspension was a new three-link system, featuring all coils. Not only did the ride improve, but handling also got a boost, and this system was used for NASCAR in the full-size class. Interiors were like the 1964 models, but a new instrument panel and two-way key system were introduced. The 1966 model had a slight coke-bottle design and new horizontally split grille among other small changes. For 1967 all Fords featured a large, padded hub in the centre of the plastic steering wheel, along with an energy-absorbing steering column (introduced late into the 1967 model year),padded interior surfaces, recessed controls on the instrument panel, and front outboard shoulder belt anchors. Another safety related change was the introduction of the dual brake master cylinder used on all subsequent Galaxies (and other Ford models). 1968 saw a new grille with headlights arranged horizontally, although the body was essentially the same car from the windshield back. The long hood short rear deck style with a more upright roofline and a notchback rear was followed too, as was the new trend for concealed headlights on the XL and LTD. One other change for 1968 was that the base V8 engine increased from 289 cu in (4.7 L) to 302 cu in (4.9 L)..The 1968 models featured additional safety features, including side marker lights and shoulder belts on cars built after December 1, 1967.
