The WhiteBox version of Swords & Wizardry covers only the three books from the original boxed set released in 1974. If you want to play the complete version of Original D&D as it existed in 1978, you may want to try Swords & Wizardry Complete (Revised), but many players prefer this version for its simplicity and flexibility.

Sadly, I have not played this yet with a group, but I've been passionately defending the Finch / Breig ruleset for a decade now. :)

Disney DVD Menu of Disney/Pixar's Inside Out 3

I know that Disney's FastPlay won't go back to that 30 minute to 50 minute FastPlay. They called that LongPlay. It's a term. I know it. But I think this would be a fun idea if the bonus features were much more shorter and half were a bit long for Disney's FastPlay. They used to do it. Why not go back to it? Inside Out 3's DVD would be much fun then ever. Anyways, goodnight.

Movie night was a common theme within your friendship with Kimi. Often did you find yourself in a pile of blanket and junk food from the nearby gas station with a movie you’ve seen a hundred times before playing on his large flatscreen TV. It started when the two of you were little and your parents would allow for supervised sleepovers in the living room. The two of you would make a huge fort and lay in it, quietly snickering so that your mom wouldn’t catch you both wide awake and sneakily watching her romance films.

The tradition lived on! Every month one of you hosted movie night, and the other person got to pick what film to watch and bring their own snacks, that were usually shared anyway. You were patiently sat atop his faux leather sofa, your feet dangling over the edge of the ottoman you pushed up against it to extend your leg room. You tapped your fingers against the plush surface, humming under your breath. Kimi was scurrying around to get everything sorted, including the movie, which was always watched via classic DVDs. It made the experience more nostalgic when you had to hear about Disney FastPlay every five seconds, and you couldn’t skip half of the advertisements.

“I think this thing finally broke,” Kimi laughed as he held up a flashlight to the DVD player. He wiped off the top with his hand; when he glanced at his palm, it was with disgust upon seeing the surface covered in dark gray dust. He blew into the cartridge like you would an old video game, and then placed the disc on the flimsy tray. When he tried to shove it back in, it kinda just… Flopped around uselessly.

You laughed at his efforts without shame, which of course made your Italian friend shoot you a playful glare. How dare you laugh at him. “You’ve had it for way too long, I’m not surprised it’s finally falling to pieces.”

“Hey!” He spoke up, fake hurt in his tone. “She’s been with us for so long, it’s like losing a family member.”

“She?”

“She.”

You rolled your eyes and pushed yourself off the couch to help him in his fruitless endeavors. Kimi stepped aside to give you room, but kept the flashlight steadily pointed at the machinery in question. You gave it a thoughtful gesture with your hands on your chin, eyes squinted. “Hm.” You reached out, pushing the tray. It slid back in with ease, and your face lit up. “No way, first try!”

“What?! That’s so unfair.” You settled back onto the couch, and Kimi joined you a moment later- after he had collected the remote for the player.

“You just don’t have the magic touch.” You shrugged. He huffed with spirited anger, like a shared joke between the two of you.

“Oh, and you do?”

“Look, Kimi…” You shrugged, gesturing to the DVD player with a little smirk. “The technology doesn’t lie.” You both shared a laugh before dimming the lights and settling in for the movie.

You had both seen it before, but honestly those types of movies were what made this night special, because you got to commentate without disturbing the experience for the other person. Every time something embarrassing or cringy would happen, the two of you would groan and criticize the characters. Or if something made you mad, you’d go on a rant so long that Kimi would end up pausing the movie to listen. Tonight was a classic film, but that didn’t erase the various discrepancies in the plot line.

Things progressed as normal. You ate candy until you couldn’t anymore, you both talked nonstop, and Kimi fell asleep on your shoulder— Hold up.

Yeah, no. That had never happened before! Movie night was sacred, there wasn’t supposed to be any sleeping! You flinched when you felt the weight on your arm, and you nearly had a heart attack when you realized what it was. His curls tickled your neck and jawline, soft hairs just lightly brushing against your skin. You should wake him up but… He seemed so at peace. Closed eyelids with his lips drawn into a little smile, and his eyebrows lax. Damn him for being so cute.

Nonetheless, you gently shake him awake with your other hand. He stirs to consciousness with a sleepy look on his face. Kimi sits up straight, stretching his arms out before settling back down against you. “Kimi-” You whisper in a desperate cry before he can doze off again. His eyes fling open, and he stares directly at you.

“Hm?” He groans with sleepiness, rubbing one eye with one hand.

“You can’t fall asleep, it’s the best-”

“You smell nice,” He suddenly grumbled out. His words were barely coherent, which was the first sign of an extra sleepy guy. “And your skin is so soft.”

“What-?”

“I think I love you,” He yawned right after, like it wasn’t a life changing thing to say. Your eyes went wide, and your lips fell agape in absolute shock.

“Kimi… Wait, don’t fall asleep again- What do you mean?!” He could barely keep his eyes open. Your loudness disturbing his peace made a pout form on his lips. Too. Damn. Cute.

“I love you,” He admitted. The boy fell forward, pressing his face into your neck again. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. Your arms wrapped around him, hands cradling the back of his head against you. You could hear a soft noise of delight come from the boy as he drifted back into a state of calmness.

“I…” You looked down. He probably wasn’t even listening, so no matter what you said, it wouldn’t matter. “I love you too…”

You decided to let him sleep— He probably needed it. So, you relaxed against the back of the couch, holding him close to you. You finished the movie knowing, in the back of your mind, that you’d have a lot of things to say come the morning. But for now, you chose peace. You chose to enjoy the quiet filled with requited emotion.

why do some people act like everything that existed in their childhood is Gone now and it's rare/impossible for people from other generations to have heard about them. yes people still know we will rock you it;s a popular song I have heard it on the radio. yes people still know about dvds my parents and relatives and friends parents owned dvds that I watched yeah I'm gen z and I know about disney fastplay. I own dvds also I bought them from major electronics store they have aisles and aisles of dvds in there. I once saw someone saying that only millennials remember frozen grapes. frozen grapes. that's not even an era specific thing I could go to the grocery store right now and buy frozen grapes. this is not even an older generation thing either I see people my age say this about gen alpha. stop it

Serena was a hard worker. Of her siblings, she pushes herself the most often and with the most incredible intensity. Her training were constant, usually taking place late at night following a long day of insufferable lessons or outings with her forced betrothed. By all means she should rest, but she can't afford to if she was to break free of this hell hole. One such evening, she finds herself sparing again with Yuri, who had become a constant in her training due to her father's interference. However, he did serve some use as a sparing partner and a person for her to vent out her frustrations to. If he has to stick around, might as well have a purpose. After once again managing to pin him to a wall, with sweat dripping down her face, Serena suddenly feels her body turn off. Seems like her exhaustion from the long day and hours of training had finally caught up to her, and her body fell unconscious right onto the retainer's suited form. (Nobles To Yuri. Let's see Yuri Disney Fastplay LMFAO)

On most nights Yuri didn't mind this. He quite enjoyed playing this game with her, actually; one where he could watch her face twist in frustration everytime she failed to put him down in a timely manner. He'd often throw her a bone, allowing her some advantage before turning it around on her in some way, shape or form. Mostly in the verbal sense as she was fairly easy to irritate. Unfortunately, to him at least, in their dynamic it was the only power he currently held over her.

Like this, stuck in this...skin suit, he'd call it, she could overpower him in the physical sense. But Yuri had ways to remind her that his word, and by proxy, the word of her father was far stronger than her will to run him through and be done with this obligation of hers.

But it would seem that tonight even Yuri was reaching his limit though, as evident of his movements starting to lack the usual enthusiasm he reserved for these sessions. He almost didn't even try when Serena caught him slacking--

The force of his back hitting the wall so suddenly was more than enough to rattle this frail form of his, much to his annoyance. Compared to his kin though; Yuri was not one to complain needlessly.

❝ ...This has gone on quite long enough, hasn't it? ❞

As much as Yuri would looooooooove to spend all his nights having the girl chase him around with her teeth bared, he was beginning to become irate with it. It was the same song and dance each night now, and it was starting to bore him. And honestly, he'd rather be tending to his propagation operations. The manor was all sorts of dull and stuffy, and it was solely on him to spruce the place up a bit using his talents. At this rate all the plants he had painstakingly nurtured thus far would dry out and die off before Serena would go to bed.

How funny it truly was though, the tables turning as they were.

That's when all the power behind her hold all but vanished, and soon enough the only thing keeping him against the wall now was the weight of Serena's body collapsed against his own.

Oh...

....Huh.

He was starting to think it wasn't going to work-- The thought tickled him in such a way a light chuckle escaped him as he moved an arm under her own to keep her from slipping out from him and onto the floor. Wouldn't want to wake her up now.

❝ That took a lot longer to build up in your system than I thought. ❞

Really, she should know better by now to think he'd play their game fairly.

Once he was sure he had secured his hold on her, he frees his other arm out from under her. He lifts a finger, revealing the perfectly manicured nail had been sharpened to a fine point. A quick glance and it was easy to miss how it had been the only one shaped in such a way, as if on purpose. It was then he brushes the loose strands of her ponytail aside to reveal the nape of her neck before lightly grazing the claw-like nail across her skin-- One of many thin scratches he had managed to tag her with over the course of their fight.

Dripping from the line he drew was a substance far too light in color to be blood... The beautiful pink hue was Yuri's own design, of course. A poison he had developed specifically for Serena and her recent problem.

She surely wouldn't take kindly to the idea of him poisoning her into taking a nap though, so he had kept it subtle by keeping the doses small and building it up over time.

And of course, this was by no means the poison he personally produced. He was still saving that one for the day Serena accepted his loyalty to her. This was just a simple sleep-aid derived from one of the many gardens he had helped to maintain in his time here. He's sure she'll come to appreciate the many things he brings to her table, but in the mean time he'll be sure to appreciate the silence the rest of the night should now bring.

After bestowing the last of his gift to his mistress he'll move to toss her unceremoniously up and over his shoulder. Had he not been her retainer this would make for a quite a scene, but considering his position and Serena's own nature he's sure no one would bother with them as he takes the long way back to her chambers. He had to check on all his precious little sprouts on the way, of course. It helped that the hour was so late though, fortunately for her there shouldn't be any in the halls to witness the scene anyway despite how entertaining it might've been.

❝ Take a nice long rest, princess. Your strikes were really rather weak today, I'll have to report as much to your father, you know? ❞ -
