31 days Rammstein challenge - Day 5 - Favorite music video

The DVD 'Rammstein videos 1995-2012' is one of my favorites in my collection, and that was only until 2012...think of all the videos we had after that (did i mention i want a new dvd 2019-and-onwards?) 😊

So again it's a difficult choice, but without rewatching all of the videos again (because then i'll definitely not manage to end this challenge in March), my choice for favorite Rammstein regular music video

Ohne Dich

The scenery! The drama! The scruffiness (looking at you Richard)! The perfect video for that song.

That in the later video 'Haifisch' a look-back to Ohne Dich was used in ways the various bandmembers could have killed Till, was the cherry on top (by the way: Haifisch? Another fave video, but i digress 😊)

Another Jörn Heitmann video, i generally like all of his anyway, but this one i can watch for ages and would live a mini-movie from 🥰

Did you notice i said 'regular Rammstein musicvideo' above? That's because i think that one 'musicvideo' actually isn't a musicvideo at all: it's an epic, mini-movie, outside category, ought-to-be-on-the-curriculum-in-schools...

The one that accompanied the first single of the 2019 Untitled album, the return of Rammstein to publishing a new studio album (that had been rumoured to be in the works for years, not least by the Rammguys themselves, but with this band you never know if it happens until it happens), and that propelled Rammstein right back into the public eye.

That this video didn't get more awards than it did (i think it received a few minor ones), is a travesty imo, but knowing Rammstein, they probably don't care anyway 😊
