Blood Sugar Virus (2)
CHAPTER TWO
Genre: Horror, zombies, strangers to lovers, angst, suspense Pairing: Kang Yeosang x female!reader Warnings: based on the Wanteez Zombie episode, OT8 friendship dynamics
Summary: You (stage name Sugar) are the co-captain of a horror acting group. You and your guys are the ones the companies hire when they want to stage a zombie, ghost, or any vaguely horrific and dystopian episode. So when you get hired by Ateez to develop a zombie program, it's just another routine that you've done a million times. Everything's going exactly according to script--until suddenly it isn't, and it starts getting a little too real.
< last chapter | next chapter >
It’s time. You’re not nervous until you see the 8 members of Ateez cautiously making their way up the steps to the dark high school, because it’s time for you to act. You’re no longer just the girl who had “study groups” and hang outs with Rosé and eight other students, now you’re also the girl who has watched a small portion of the student body become viciously affected by a flesh-eating virus—a girl who believes zombies have infected the school and that death or contamination is imminent.
You have to believe it. You have to be it.
You’ve done this hundreds of times in hundreds of ways, and there’s not a shred of doubt in your mind that you’ve found your calling—that you’re doing the thing that you’re good at.
But there’s always this flutter of nerves.
The anxiety that comes with building a normal (if accelerated) relationship with eight incredibly sweet (and totally attractive) young men who are about to watch you turn into an emotionally traumatized woman who believes her friends are zombies is hammering through your skull.
You’re potentially about to embarrass yourself.
If they change their minds, if they can’t get into it, if they throw up their hands and decide the whole thing is stupid and silly and more for kids than adults, then you’ll be the one with egg on your face.
Then again, there is a contractually guaranteed silver lining—egg on your face or not, KQ is still required to pay the full sum of your agreement regardless of if the guys make it through the whole program or if they give up five seconds into it. And if they give up five seconds in, it’s not your problem. You provided a thorough description of what they could expect, they literally hired you to slather blood on your face and develop an intense horror story for them to puzzle through, and if they don’t like it, that’s on them.
They’re on the steps, reaching for the door.
You’re not nervous.
You’re a professional.
This is your job.
And you’re damn good at it.
Their voices are buzzing through the glass, tense and pitched tightly with nerves, and from your shadowed place of observation, you feel relieved. You’re not the only one who’s nervous—and, even better, they’re already absorbing the spooky energy of the dark and imposing high school.
You haven’t even showed your face—your matted hair, your face and throat streaked with fake blood, your high school uniform that’s ripped and grimy, the fact that you only have one shoe—and they already believe your story.
This is going to be easier than you thought.
No reason to be nervous.
It’s go time.
The doors rattle loudly, the sound echoing down the empty halls. There’s a moment of hesitation, the startled and trembling voices of eight transfer students responding to the eerie noise, and then the door pushes open.
Predictably, Jongho pokes his head curiously through the opening, takes a look at the dim entry way, and then enters the school with ease. Behind him, his seven friends tumble in as well, half of them already clinging to and crowding each other for safety.
When they’re all standing awkwardly in the entryway, you take your cue.
Your footsteps are loud—one the hard echo of a solid shoe sole, the other the soft slapping of your socked foot. It’s an odd and unnatural noise that immediately catches their attention, the clunk-thump, clunk-thump, clunk-thump of your uneven gate.
By the time you emerge from the nearest hallway, all eight sets of eyes are fixed on you, wide with fear. You throw yourself with frantic energy, landing at the apparent leader (Jongho)‘s feet. “You have to help. Help. Please, you have to—“
Your voice is a low whisper, muffled by the rushing of your quickened breaths.
Many of them relax at the sight of you. Seonghwa, Yeosang, Yunho.
Jongho wasn’t disturbed to begin with. He just catches your grasping arms and pulls you up to stand in front of him.
San reaches for you instantly, one hand on your arm and one hand gripping Wooyoung’s. “Sugar!” He whispers back. “This is crazy!”
You clutch him right back, unwilling to break character. Since he went for you first, you turn your full attention to him. “We have to get her. They’ve got her, we have to get her.”
There’s something awkward about asking staged questions, especially when they already know it’s a zombie program. You don’t expect anyone to play along enough to actually give you the “what’s going on/what happened here” line, so you take full control of the dialogue.
“Some of the students just started biting people.” You gasp, privately enjoying the probably real nervousness on San’s face. “And then they were biting and then more were biting and they all just went crazy. They’re all crazy—and they have Rosé.”
“Where is she?” Hongjoong asks, finally finding a question he actually doesn’t know the answer to. “How do we get her back?”
You point down a nearby hallway. “Last time I saw her they were taking her back there. Into the admin office. You have to help me, please.” You’re giving it your all. Voice trembling, ragged breaths, choked breaking sobs, hands shaking.
Based on the way San’s hand gently tightens around your arm and pulls you ever so slightly closer, he’s fully taken in by your theatrics. You’re flattered; almost giddy at the response to your favorite job in the world.
“So we’re going to find the admin office.” Jongho says decidedly. He’s thriving with a set of instructions, keeping his focus firmly on the steps it will take to win the game. His eyes are on the hallway you pointed to, but he glances back at Hongjoong.
The leader nods assent. “San, keep an eye on Sugar. Let’s go. We ready?” He remembers your orientation meeting, the rules you gave him—keep you alive and rescue Rosé. He scans his group, counting heads, checking their ability to begin the game.
You can pick out the more anxious ones—San, Seonghwa, Mingi—and the ones who look nervous but excited—Wooyoung, Yeosang, Hongjoong—and the ones who want to get going and stop hand wringing—Yunho, Jongho.
They’re ready.
Nobody’s backing out.
San drops his hand from your arm to your palm, but keeps his other hand fixed on Wooyoung’s arm. He seems to be buying your act so completely that he leans down a little to quietly ask if you’re okay, and you see his gaze taking in the convincing application of blood and gore on your person.
You have to play the part, but you’re not trying to insult his kindness, so you grip his hand and nod. It’s still a fearful nod, one consistent with someone who has just seen things no human has ever seen before, but it’s genuine enough.
It’s such an insane rush to be believed.
Not that you’re okay; of course you’re okay.
But that you might not be.
Zombies and horror and dramatic displays of fear feel so cheesy and unreal when you’re laying it on so thick, so when you get such alarmed responses it settles your entire body like a security blanket wrapped around your shoulders.
“Good. Let’s go.” Hongjoong whispers, and then you’re off.
Eight students and you, slinking down the dark hallway into the unknown. They’re reading classroom signs, Jongho and Yunho taking the lead with Yeosang close behind, and the leader takes the rear.
Your job is done for the moment, so all you do is cling close to San’s side and let him guide you with the group.
You and Namjoon had made your predictions about who would be assigned as your first protector and who would automatically volunteer for the job. You’ve made predictions about many scenes in the program, just as you always do.
The two of you were a hundred percent spot on when you hosted a program for Stray Kids a few years ago; Lee Know had been the calmest one right off the bat, which had been Namjoon’s prediction. But he had assigned Jisung to take first watch of you, which you had predicted (at least in part. You’d figured it would be horror-movie lover Han Jisung, but you hadn’t guessed that Minho would give him the job).
This time, you had predicted that Wooyoung would be in charge of you, while Namjoon had figured either Yeosang or San.
You owe him money.
You’re only a bit salty about it.
Jongho finds the admin office rather quickly.
The door is closed, and soft rasping grunts can be heard from within. San and Mingi instantly tense, pulling away from the ominous room.
You get dragged back by San, hovering close to the back of the pack with Hongjoong while Wooyoung moves forward to enter the room with the others.
“This is crazy,” San whispers to you. “It’s so spooky in here. I’m actually scared,” he laughs at himself a little, and you squeeze his hand again but you don’t break character.
When you finally have your turn at the door, he can see the zombie in the room. It’s Jin, lying on the floor, twitching and groaning with imaginary infection.
The rest of the guys have snuck into the room, their eyes pinned to Jin.
“It’s our first zombie,” Seonghwa whispers, and flashes a grin to Yunho. “He looks so real!”
Jin twitches and growls, and the entire group flinches back against the wall. You find yourself pulled tightly into San’s side, his hand forcing you a bit behind him.
“There’s a note.” Yeosang whispers to Jongho, pointing at the floor next to Jin. He glances back to you for confirmation, but you’re no help.
It’s not like you’re supposed to know why the zombie would leave a note next to his bitten body.
Jongho reaches for the note, pauses as Jin lurches, and then quickly snatches the paper off the floor. As soon as he’s got it, he and Yeosang back rapidly towards the rest of the group.
By now, Seonghwa has found himself back to you and San, and he hovers close to your other side. “This is so fun but so eerie,” he tells you, but when he glances at your face and sees only the permanent expression of worry, he realizes you won’t respond as an actor.
“Zombies have infected the school.” Jongho reads softly. “They’re sensitive to noise. Even the slightest sound will start them hunting—“ he breaks off and immediately lowers his voice to a whisper while Yeosang brings a finger to his lips and promptly shushes the guys who are still mumbling about Jin’s antics on the floor.
It’s hilarious to you, the gleam in Yeosang’s eyes. He’s nervous, jumping back behind Jongho at the slightest sound, but he’s so intensely enthralled in the game that you can’t help a small smile.
Jin writhes and gives a garish shriek—his favorite zombie sound effect—and Mingi jumps back with a loud yelp.
At the sound, Yeosang shushes again and bolts to the door. You think he’s about to flee, run for his life from an imaginary hoard, but he stops at the window and you realize he’s scouting for danger.
You’re absolutely thrilled by this.
It’s insanely gratifying to see them engaging with your program so completely.
Jongho continues at a whisper and Yeosang returns to read over his shoulder. “You must not let them bite you. I’ve hidden a cure that I’ve developed around the school. If you find them, you can save yourself—if you get bitten, you must take the cure within five minutes and live.”
Wooyoung instantly begins skirting the room, searching for the cure.
You’re impressed.
There are three in that very room, a detail that TXT had neglected to consider entirely—four of them had died, r.i.p.
“There are two surviving students. Sugar has found a place to hide until help comes. You must save her. Keep her alive or all is lost. Rosé has been captured by the zombies. You must rescue her as well, or all is lost.”
“Does it say where she is?” Hongjoong whispers.
“I don’t see anything.” Yeosang returns, and shushes him nervously.
“I found two!” Wooyoung hisses, holding up two blue vials with excitement even as Yeosang shushes again.
Realizing there may be more to be found, Yunho jumps into the search as well, skirting the other side of the room.
“You must solve a series of puzzles to find Rosé.” Jongho reads. “But you must escape the school before 12am when the doors lock, or all is lost. Follow the bell. Save the girls. Stay alive.”
Mingi visibly shivers.
“Also.” Jongho peers closer. “Beware of Fever Time on the quarter hours.”
“Fever Time?” Mingi squeaks.
Yeosang shushes him again.

WIP Whenever !!
Thank you to those who tagged me, it’s no longer Wednesday here but I still have a wip to share. I’ve shared a couple paragraphs from this one but this is a bigger chunk. Not actually sure where I’m taking this one really, but it keeps coming !
Moments Silence (working title, may change)
Abnur Tharn x The Vestige (Lumriel)
The waters of the small seaside cove flowed in and out soothingly, rays of sunlight poured in through the ceiling, alighting the pink fluttering leaves of the Auridon Heartwood trees growing inexplicably through the sand. It would have been a nice resting place had it not been for its occupants, Abnur thought with disdain as the attention of the conversation shifted away from himself and his loyalties.
Halfway through the conversation with Lyris Titanborn and Varen Aquilarios (or the Prophet, so he was calling himself now), the fledgling hero– a tall, thin, and tanned Altmer by the name of Lumriel– had stopped wringing his hands and gone frighteningly still. The young Altmer was of a shockingly timid countenance for his job description. Usually the new warriors were head strong or egotistical, unable to see past their own swords. Abnur never liked having dealings with young heroes, as attracted to trouble as they were, but admittedly their thirst for power, their inflated ego, and naivete was the perfect recipe for him to manipulate to his benefit. This one was proving to be a much more complex book to read.
Even despite his lack of desire for power, Tharn could see the strings of his heart, pulled back and forth by all the things he cared about. He was already showing signs of…weakness. Back in Coldharbour, after Abnur had re-emerged from Mannimarco’s (admittedly painful) banishment and they had worked together to take down the visage of him, the Vestige had gripped him by the shoulders with a terrified look in his eyes. It was almost like he cared whether or not Abnur had died, which was certainly a new development.
Now the hero stood, news of the Prophet’s true identity as Varen Aquilarios, bringer of all their looming troubles, finally setting in. The adrenaline from the fight lingered and seemed to leave his limbs with a tremble that he couldn’t shake out. The lines of his face grew tighter with every passing word from the Companions.
“You have my solemn promise, Vestige. When this is over, if you still judge me harshly, you can end my life. I will offer no resistance. But we must find Sai Sahan, everything depends on that.”
The Vestige looked at Varen with a withered expression, “I… am not going to do that. But you’re right. We have no choice.” He looked sparingly at Lyris, who took his gaze head on, and said nothing. “I am going to check your injuries and then… and just… I need to think.”
Varen nodded his head once, sagely and sat back down at the rickety makeshift desk underneath the Heartwood trees. Lumriel looked briefly over Lyris’s injuries, making sure nothing would be left to heal wrong or fester and gave her a small health potion. They spoke quietly for a moment, seeming to come to a reluctant understanding.
Even despite Tharn’s standoffish posture and attempts to conceal his discomfort, Lumriel turned to the battle mage, eyes wandering over his tired but still haughty frame. Though he had been through worse bouts before, the banishment spell from Mannimarco, ensuing fight, the spiritual drain that came from lingering too long in Coldharbour, and then that final blow from Lyris had left him wary. Still, he straightened his back under the scrutiny. The young high elf stepped forward, examining him. Warm, clammy fingers came up to whisper across his face, tracing the damages. Abnur flinched back, shying away from the touch he didn’t expect. The fingers grabbed his chin, gently guiding his face to the side to get a better look at a cut that Lyris’s bracer had carved into his face. Lumriel’s brow knit together as he focused.
“This shouldn’t need any magic but let me apply a salve. Auri-El forbid you get an infection. I don’t trust the air in Coldharbour, let alone the waters,” he said quietly, almost as if he was talking to himself. Maybe he was. He still looked shaky and off-kilter, Abnur noted.
Normally, Tharn would decline and take care of it himself but their new companion was such an intriguing character, he hadn’t yet pieced him together. He was obviously upset, but not one to lose his temper. The elf reached into his bag and pulled out a small wooden box, opening it to a translucent yellow gel, flecks of small green leaves throughout. Dipping his finger in, he brought a bit of it up to Abnur’s face, spreading it gently over the cut. It stung for only a moment, a cooling sensation soothing the angry skin.
Lumriel inspected him still, seeming stressed. “Maybe I should have cleaned it first, anything could have stuck from that gods forsaken place. It’s not bleeding anymore but I should have— Do you hurt anywhere else? Manni— that mer hit you with a lot of magicka so I should check for any burns, espe—“
Abnur grabbed Lumriel’s wrist, pulling it away from where he had rested it on his face, cutting off the nervous spill of words. “I’m alright, Vestige. I have survived much, much worse.” And it wasn’t a lie, even if he was aching bone deep across most of his body. Lumriel closed his eyes and grounded himself. Tharn noted how his hands trembled. “Are you alright?”
Lumriel looked away, pressing his lips together. “I-I— I’m sorry, I just need some time—“ he pulled his hands away from Tharn and turned, quickly wading through the cove (that he was now understanding was the Harborage— seriously, Varen couldn’t have chosen somewhere less wet?) and out of the entrance, where he could hear the telltale call of seagulls and push and pull of the ocean. Lyris watched him leave with a vaguely guilty look on her face and sighed, sitting down in the sand by their sad little campfire. She began methodically taking off her armor.
Varen shuffled a few things around on his desk idly and seemed to come to a decision in his head. He turned to Tharn, “You are, of course, welcome to stay with us here in the Harborage, should you need it. Though, it’s not the luxury you’re used to,” he said quietly, both of them ignoring Lyris going stiff.
“Thank you, Varen, but I believe I’ll have to decline,” the name fell off his lips clumsily, muscle memory still wanting to call him sire, from all those years ago. “I still have some funds and remaining connections that I should be able to find lodging in the city. We are in Auridon, aren’t we? It has been too long since I’ve last visited.”
Varen nodded once and he could see Lyris settle down again in his peripheral vision. “Yes and I believe the Vestige has a long term residence here as well, despite the inordinate amount of travel he’s been through. You might ask him about it.”
Tharn hummed. “I will. Though I don’t believe he’s in any mood to talk real estate right now,” he muttered. “I might just give him until morning lest he go catatonic.”
Narrowing his eyes in a chastising manner, Varen picked up a book and ran his hand along the pages, words glowing in a white-blue. Tharn assumed this was how he read now. “You don’t have to wait. In fact, I believe the Vestige— Lumriel, would benefit from your conversation right now.” He paused, thoughtfully. “Yes, company would be good for him right now.”
Well, looks like I don’t have a choice then. Tharn thought, wryly.
#ITS LONG and I definitely need to fix it up but I like it so far#though i am worried that im writing tharn too sympathetic#I know he’s a bit more abrasive in the beginning of the main quest#but whatever I’ll edit it a bit#tes#eso#abnur tharn#wip wednesday#the vestige#Abnur Tharn x The Vestige#Lumriel Larethoren#ghoulish writes#lyris titanborn#varen aquilarios

Y/N's POV:
I and my family recently moved from Gwacheon to Daegu due to my father's job purpose. It has been a week since we moved here and in this one week, we unpacked our stuff and decorated our new house. It was mostly me and my elder brother who did the decoration as my dad has to go to his job and my mom was busy making friends with our new neighbours most of the time. After a lot of hard work we were finally able to decorate the house.
I still didn't get time to explore Daegu but I really like the the neighbourhood. The neighbours we have are very kind and friendly. I really hoped all the people in this city should be like them but I know it's not possible.
There was a boy who lived in the house right in front of mine. He was around your age. He is really very cute. Maybe I am falling for him.
What am I even thinking?
Just yesterday I was at my window when I saw him outside his house. My heart fluttered and I was busy staring at him until he caught me staring. He smiled at me.
Oh that smile, I can die for it.
What am I thinking again?
My cheeks turned red and I was embarrassed. I quickly looked away from him.
I was lost in my thoughts and didn't realise how late I was getting for my first day of high school until my mom called my name.
After realising that I was getting late, I dressed up, ate breakfast and quickly left for school.
____________________________________________
My father dropped me to school and I was now standing in front of the school's gate. I just hoped that everyone in the school were as kind and helpful as the people in our neighborhood. But we don't get what we hope for. With that I entered the school campus. I asked a few students where the office was. I got my time table and by a lot of struggles I found my class.
When I entered the class everyone's eyes were on me. I just felt like to disappear from there. I scanned the whole class and finally found an empty seat at the corner. I quickly went there and sat down.
After a few minutes to the teacher entered the classroom. He firstly greeted us and instructed us to take out our book and notebook. It was our maths class.
Boring, right?
No.
Actually I love maths.
____________________________________________
Time Skip (I'm lazy lol 😂):
It was finally time to go home. I was waiting outside the campus, waiting for my dad or my oppa to pick me up.
The day went on full swing. I even made a new friend, her name was Yoorim. She is amazing, if I were a boy I would probably date her.
Today I was the centre of attention. Each and every one had their eyes on me. I guess they were captivated by my beauty.
I'm World Wide Beautiful afterall.
Though everyone had their eyes on me, one boy stood out. The stares he gave me were creeping me out. By his looks I assumed that he was a senior. He was totally covered with tattoos. He really gave a bad boy vibe to me but he was undoubtedly handsome and good looking. Under different circumstances I would have fallen for him.
But no.
I don't want to fall for him because a feeling inside me was begging me to stay away from him. I also inquired Yoorim about him. She told me to maintain your distance from him because he was the popular Bad Boy of our school.
I was busy in my thoughts when I suddenly heard a honk of a car.
"Are you coming or not?"
Shouted my brother.
"Coming, Jin Oppa"
I quickly went and sat in the passenger seat beside my brother. He then started the engine and we both headed on our way back to home.
____________________________________________
Unknown POV:
It was recess time, I was heading towards the canteen when I saw my friends staring at something, particularly staring at someone. When I followed to where they were staring my heart stopped.
It was a really beautiful girl, she looked like an angel. I never believed in love at the first sight until I saw her. In a few seconds I was madly in love with her.
I wanted her to be mine. I wanted to hide her from the rest of the world. I wanted to be the only person to admire her beauty.
"Soon"
I whispered to myself before my lips curved into a smirk.
____________________________________________
Time Skip (Again, I'm lazy lol😂):
Y/N POV:
Life went on smoothly and I was really happy with my life. In school I gained a lot of popularity because of my beauty. I made a lot of new friends in this two months but still Yoorim is my bestie.
The boy who lives right in front of our house, whom I mentioned before. He and I got really close and now we were pretty good friends.
But still there was a problem.
It was the one and only Bad Boy of our school. Recently I discovered that his name was Kim Taehyung. He is the son of one of the leading businessmen in the world. Each and every day was the same with him. He always stares at me with the same eyes filled with lust, hunger, love-
I couldn't figure out what.
At first I used to ignore him but now it is getting out of hands. He was present
everywhere you go. Nowadays you even spotted him in your neighborhood with his group of friends. At first I thought it was a coincidence but now I was damn sure it is not just a coincidence.
But I can't do anything because he belongs to a powerful family and above that he was hella rich. I can't even tell my parents or my oppa about it because they would really get worried about it and they are already stressed with their lives. You don't want to give them more stress.
Excect this Bad Boy thing everything was fine. I don't worry about Taehyung because I don't think he would do something to me-
Right?
____________________________________________
It was another day of school. Today you were pretty excited because it was Yoorim's birthday today.
While reaching school you quickly stared your mission on searching for Yoorim. But she was nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes of searching you finally found Yoorim. She was near her locker. Her back was facing you.
You slowly went to her and backhugged her.
"Happy Birthday Yoorim!"
You wished her and broke the hug.
She then turned back, now facing you. She hugged you back again.
"Thanks Y/N"
____________________________________________
Time Skip:
It was recess time, me and Aisha were heading to the canteen while talking about random things. When I heard someone calling my name. I turned back and found San there.
"Hi"
I greeted him and were about to turn back when someone held my right wrist. I looked back and saw it was San. I personally didn't like him because he was really annoying.
"Y/N why don't you become my girlfriend?"
He asked.
Again the same question. Maybe it was the hundredth time he asked me the same question. When I said my life is perfect, I excluded people like him.
"San leave me. I said before that I don't want to be your girlfriend. I'm not interested to be in a relationship right now."
"Y/N please"
He pleaded to me while tightening his grip on your hand.
"San leave Y/N. She already made it clear that she doesn't like you. "
Yoorim said while trying to free my hand from San's grip.
"Y/N li-"
He couldn't complete his sentence when he met with a punch on his face. His grip on your wrist loosened and he stumbled backwards.
I looked at the person who punched San and it was none other than
Kim Taehyung.
His eyes were red in anger. It seemed like he is about to murder San. I have never seen him this angry before.
"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH WHAT'S MINE?"
Taehyung growled.
Wha-
What is he saying? I'm are not his. Infact I don't belong to anyone.
Taehyung was once again about to punch San, when his friends arrived and held him. San's friends also arrived and picked San up from the floor.
"I'll see you."
San threatened Taehyung before leaving from there.
I turned to Yoorim and found her looking at the whole scene unfolding with wide eyes. I quickly held her hand and dragged her from there. Everyone gathered there.
___________________________________________
Right now we were having dinner and I couldn't focus on anything. The incident that took place in our school kept flashing on my mind.
"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH WHAT'S MINE?"
His words were ringing in my head. It didn't fail to give me goosebumps. What did he mean by that?
"Sweetie, don't you like the food?"
My mother asked when she saw that I was not eating my food.
"No Eomma, I love it."
I said.
"Then eat fast. Don't sit idle."
Jin Oppa seemed that something was off with me but still he decided not to ask me about it in front of our parents.
After a few minutes I was done with my eating.
"I'm done."
I announced, before quickly heading to my room.
____________________________________________
It was almost midnight when I felt someone's presence above. I quickly opened my eyes and found Taehyung sitting on my bed, his eyes were on me. It seemed that he was admiring me, with eyes full of lov-
"Taehyung, what are you doing here?"
"Shh sweetheart let me admire you."
He said before climbing on top of me. I tried to push him with all my strength but failed because he was too strong. Having no options left I called for my family.
"Omma, Appa, Jin Oppa, HELP!"
I yelled so that they could hear me.
"Shh sweetheart, don't shout no one is coming to help you. No one can save you from this monster. Let me have you."
With that he pressed his lips on mine and kissed me passionately.
In a moment we were both naked on my bed, with him inside me, pounding in me. The pain was too much to handle. He was moaning in pleasure while I was crying in helplessness.
"Mine, Forever."

Look who just woke up- is that KIM TAE-RI? No, I must have been mistaken, that’s MUN JI-YEON from PJO (OC, child of hypnos, luke’s side). I heard they are 26 and stuck here just like everyone else. Even in the 20’s, she still gives off a HEAD SLOWLY FALLING TO THE TABLE IN SLEEPINESS, A BLUE BUTTERFLY FLUTTERING SOMEWHERE TO HIDE, PREFERRING THE COMFORT OF HER ROOM THAN SOCIAL GATHERINGS, HAUNTED BY NIGHTMARES SHE CAN EASILY CURE, ACCEPTING DEATH TO BE WITH HER LOVED ONES impression. In Sydney, they work as a ART STUDENT. They’re known to be quite COMPASSIONATE & CALMING, but have a tendency to be SHY & SELF DOUBTING on their bad days.
Gender/Pronouns: cis female, she/her
How long have they been in Sydney: one yea
Which suburb do they live in? haymarket
Personality description (in your own words): ji-yeon is incredibly reserved and shy. her father may be classed as lazy, ji-yeon can be seen as similar for refusing plans, not going out and spending a lot of time in their room. but they just prefer to be alone and despite being kind and easy to get along with, they often isolate themselves and can feel burnt out if with crowds for too long. ji-yeon is not idle, they do work and study, but prefers to be inside rather than out. an introvert that wants nothing but to relax with a good book and to drift off into that sweet state of being half asleep and awake. if you’re lucky enough, ji-yeon can be a wonderful friend. they will go out of their way to make people comfortable, casting sleep or dream like states if you’re in distress. typically, of course living up to being a child of hypnos, ji-yeon tends to live in a dream. a fantasy. it’s better that way to keep her nightmares and bad thoughts away. their downfall is being so closed off and timid, it would be a weakness in battle as they push people away. but not that ji-yeon would get into a battle or even an argument. they are, in all senses, a pushover. if you tell her she’s wrong, she will agree with you. they don’t think much of themselves. but despite not being able to trust people, they are still compassionate. still wants to see the good in everyone. she is easy to talk to, people often feel comfortable with her and even gravitate towards them. maybe it’s just their aura of relaxation that people crave.
Memories of their real life:
(might be a bit clunky bc prewritten)
ji-yeon was born on a clear night on the 7th september 1997. her mother was a painter and a gentle soul who loved ji-yeon from first instance. their mother never knew that their father was a god and they had a short affair for only a few months. he never returned when she was pregnant, but by the time ji-yeon was born, their mother had met their adoptive father and fell into a relationship. her adoptive father love her as his own and never questioned it. when ji-yeon was 4, they became and older sibling to a brother they were a perfect happy family, her father working as a captain of a ferry and her mother as an artist. Ji-yeon manifested their power quite young, putting people to sleep without realising it. They began to try and control it when they were about 7, learning to only do it when she touched people. They developed their power naturally on their own, working on influencing dreams as well. No one could understand it in their family, but no one questioned it. But when they were 9, tragedy had hit. Their father was out over seas, and ji-yeon had put her mother and brother to sleep like most nights. However, a fire had started in the kitchen due to something still being plugged in. ji-yeon could not wake her mother or brother because they were in such a deep sleep. Ji-yeon got out after shapeshifting into a butterfly for the first time. After that, they became more reserved. Their father resigned his job to stay with her and ji-yeon never used her Hypnokinesis powers apart from to help steady their own nightmares. She was claimed when she was 11. Her father and her were on a fishing boat trip when a sea monster attacked. Ji-yeon tackled it by putting the monster into a deep sleepy. Hypnos had been watching (as he often did check in on them from time to time in her dreams) and finally introduced himself as her real father, impressed by how she managed to put such a powerful creature to sleep with only her own training. Hypnos had comforted his daughter, reassuring her that they were special and powerful and that they could control their powers if they tried. that's when she started attending camp half blood. But they never learnt nor gained the power to retrieve memories, choosing to lock their own away in the back of her head, as to not relive the trauma of losing her brother and mother. she learnt how to shapeshift into a blue morpho at camp, but can't stay in the form for more than a few hours. eventually, she was befriended by luke one day and brought into his ideologies, because she's easy to manipulate and after telling him about her mother and brother. it was due to her timid nature and feeding into 'your father is a god, he could have saved your mother and brother' that she joined that side. she didn't necessarily share all the beliefs. but she did partake in the final battle, despite only briefly. but that cost her life.
What was their fake life like: tba
label: fragile butterfly
wanted connections: friends!!

Hone Your Technical Skills
Building a robust and user-friendly eCommerce app requires a strong foundation in various technical skills. Here's a breakdown of the crucial areas to focus on:
Programming Languages

Backend Development
A solid grasp of backend technologies like Node.js or Python is necessary to manage the server-side functionalities of an eCommerce app, such as product databases, payment processing, and user authentication.
Database Management
Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL is crucial for storing and retrieving product information, user data, and order details efficiently.
APIs and Integrations
ECommerce apps often integrate with various third-party services like payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools. Understanding APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) will allow you to connect these services seamlessly with your app.
Understand the ECommerce Landscape
Being a successful eCommerce app developer goes beyond just coding. Developing a keen understanding of the eCommerce industry is vital. Here's what you should explore:
Ecommerce Trends
Stay updated on the latest trends in eCommerce, such as the rise of voice commerce, social commerce, and the growing importance of personalization.
User Behavior
Understanding how users shop online is crucial. Research common pain points and identify opportunities to create a more seamless and engaging shopping experience through your app.
Security Concerns
ECommerce apps deal with sensitive user data and financial transactions. Keeping yourself updated on the latest security protocols and best practices is paramount.
Payment Processing
