One Eyed, One Horned, Flying Purple People Eater

I'm here to address a common misconception. The entity from the song, One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater doesn't HAVE to be purple. It is specifically mentioned that the creature eats "purple people", IDK what those are but the point stands that the purple in the name relates to the monster's prey, and not the monster itself.

Anyways I believe that a group of OEOHFPPE could probably take on Thanos even with a completed gauntlet. Thanos is a titan but to them he's probably jerky.

My entire life I somehow thought "Flying Purple People Eater" was from Little Shop of Horrors. But I watched the whole movie waiting for that song. But apparently the song is just. A song. And isn't from any movie or musical??

thoughts on the purple people eater in the archipelago

this answer has two parts. The first part being my thoughts on just the face of it. The second being after actually listening to the song because I can not for the life of me remember when I last heard this song in full besides the chorus…with that said.

On the face of it thoughts : You mean Steve? Wait…Steve isn’t one eyed nor is he a canny bobble as far as I recall. Hm…would the flying purple people eater fall under the category of Child of the Earth? I mean like…wait there was that bit in Indigo King of CoE not eating people…so not that. Oh ! What if the purple people eater was a drag…no no. Then it would be dead and that’s a sad thought. Hmmm

AFTER RESEARCH (listening to the song): THE ONE EYED ONE HORNED FLYING PURPLE PEOPLE EATER IS AN ALIEN?? Wait…that makes sense. I guess I thought it was more…fantastic? And hold on! He wants to be in a rock band? And he sounds like that? Okay! So You could very well have a whole island of One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People eaters….but there’s the question of if they themselves are included in that. Cause everything shows them as being purple but the text of the song only says that they eat purple people without mentioning specifically if they themselves are? So assuming that Purple People eaters are themselves purple you’d have an island of canny bobbles, the canny bobbles favorite habitat if my reading doesn’t fail me. So…give them a electric guitar and you are set. Them being an alien also brings to mind Ransom having some familiarity with them…and in turn Ransom and Hank totally having a rocking jam session with the lone purple people eater. Hmm could you stave off purple people eaters with lollipops like you do flying crocodiles? I assume they’d have to be purple. Wait! Wait! How many Purple People Eaters must have died trying to take a bite out of our Zen Detective Steve??? Oh dear!! Have the Purple People Eaters had poor relations with the Goblins of the Archipelago? And have they tried gnawing at the Violet Dragon ever? Hmmm…okay

I think I’ve exhausted my thoughts concerning the purple people eater in the Archipelago. Hopefully this was the Purple People Eater in question and not some other thing (when looking up the song I learned there’s apparently a political party called the purple people? Weird). Wait! One last thought. Can Purple People Eaters only eat things which are purple people being the first among these? If so, are they unable to eat blueberries? If my understanding of logic isn’t failing me
