Oh god, how does one describe their favorite tastes?
I like most fruits (except papaya, watermelon, and strawberries). My favorites fruits are mango, red grapes, plums, and honeydew. I like sweet things but not too sweet. Like I don't like frosting or pastries. Sweet things are better with a savoriness, I guess. I like Indian food a lot, so I'm pro spices.

i really like hummus, though i have to eat it in smaller quantities now. and noccellara olives (the ones from Sicily are the best <333333). and baguettes (thanks france lol i have an addiction now). pizza (margherita is the only one i eat), fettuccine alfredo (ik it's not originally italian-italian but it's so yummy when you do it up right). oh and CHOCOLATE <3 i eat way too much chocolate lol. and macarons <333 (an occasional treat for me) AND LES RELIGIEUSES !!!!!!!!! Best pastry I've ever had in my life. It was my trademark sweet treat when I was in France. I also love mozzarella and brie cheese. OOH and my mom taught me this recipe of ratatouille lasagne with Roquefort cheese -- it's my favourite meal ever (i also adore ratatouille with a fresh baguette, a little Roquefort for an additional zing, and a nice glass of wine to drink with it -- I loved making it while I was away).

I want I want I want. Glutinous as a black hole, ever-peckish, teeth itching to catch on some juicy morsel, salty bite.
Twitching fingers reaching for the bag, slinking through crumb and powdered spices.
Stained with my own glut, marked flavourful with hunger; and yet – tongue and lip and dribbling saliva - suck it clean until my fingers taste of only skin.
(teeth graze harder, thoughtful, considering the flesh beneath)
Meat and melted fat, sugar-sweet tea, umami sauce; there is a bottomless pitting void at the end of my oesophagus, crying out with acid and enzyme for another snack or meal.
Crunching salt between the teeth, guzzling water like it makes a difference - what am I craving? What am I filling myself up for?
It’s as if the brain is urging the body to stack itself to the brim in a frantic plea for continued survival.
