Hey there! I’m fairly new to rp, but I have a lot of years of dnd under my belt and I need Something to satiate that rp craving when I’m not playing dnd lol

I’m 23, nonbinary (she/they), and I’m interested in rping for The Legend of Zelda, Linked Universe, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

I’m definitely looking for something casual, as I’m a bit of a busy person. If you can only respond once or twice a week that’s fine! That’s probably the pace I’ll be going at too (maybe a liiittle more frequent depending on how busy I am that week).

I loooove angst and fluffy things, but I’m not really big on smut so don’t approach me about that pls.

Hello! I am looking for a rp partner that is over 18 (if they want to do NSFW scenes) or I'm fine with +16 for just the story. I am only ok with female or nonbinary writers!!! I expect an answer at least once a day!!!

I have 2 options that I would like to play!

Oc x Uchiha Itachi canon convergent where Itachi doesn't die, but tries to deal with depression and PTSD as my OC comforts him. I would like a slow burn and for him to be very shy, but sometimes to have unexpected bravery moments that take my OC off guard. (And of course, we can build the story up together!!!)

Toge Inumaki x OC as Gojo keeps sending them in missions together and OC is confused because their powers don't work so well together and she is the first year, but then she finds out it is because Toge got drunk and sent the group chat of second-year (where Gojo is part of) some incoherent texts about how cute OC is. Again, I would love a slow-burn filled with sexual tension and insecurities from both sides.

I'm fine with mature themes! I don't mind gore (if it's not excessive), violence, self-h4rm, any mental health issues.

fullmetal alchemist is one of my favourite pieces of media of all time, and i say that with confidence. one of the most reoccurring themes in the show is morality, and the true value of life. i saw these themes show up in bsd chapter 117, so i wanted to write about it.

in fullmental alchemist, we see both edward and alphonse elric challenge these laws in their journey to re-obtain their bodies. edward, specifically, a young man who has seen the truth, does not let vastness of the universe and its secrets stop him from restoring his brother.

but what is the truth? in the show, the truth is god, yet isn’t god. the truth is god to some people but not to all. to others, truth is the universe. truth embodies the world of fullmetal alchemist like deity and a monad. truth is all and one at the same time. and, as he tells edward, he is also within us.

look familar?

the concept of being all, yet none, perfect, yet devoid of anything, is an interesting one. if being all also encompasses nothing, how can one thing be everything? how can everything also be nothing?

one is all, and all is one refers to the idea that the universe is all connected in some way. that every single thing, from the smallest ant on your shoe to the vast blue sky, is connected. everything in the universe works to push it forward.

if everything matters, nothing matters.

and that piece of knowledge can really mess up your mind.

in fullmetal alchemist, we see how the brothers are forced to question the value of human life. for a portion of the show, they’re determined to obtain the philosophers stone in order to restore their bodies, only to learn that the stone itself is made of human lives. as alchemists, they live by the concept of equivalent exchange. you cannot attain something without giving something. for edward and alphonse, nothing, not even the promise of their bodies back, is worth the cost of human life. but for other characters, like ling or father, there are things worth giving human lives for. for ling, it was immorality, and for father, it was ultimate power and knowledge. one of the things we learn is just how difficult it is to put a price on life.

in bungo stray dogs, a large portion of the story focuses on existentialism. we see certain characters live for certain things. some find reasons, like protecting others, orphans, saving lives, restoring justice, or even revenge. some characters suggest that life is valuable for the sole reason that it is. our protagonist, atsushi, searches for that reason to live. akutagawa, his main cinematic parallel, asks him if he believes that saving others will suddenly make him worthy of life. but that only raises another question- what does make someone worthy of living? are people even worthy of living to begin with?

back to the original point of being both everything and nothing. if everything matters and is of equal importance- like the tapping of a keyboard or the birth of a baby, than nothing matters. the idea that everything matters and nothing matters point to the exact same thing- everything is of equal importance. we’re all going to die some day. no matter what we do, we’re headed towards the same fate, so every single moment is important. at least, thats what i think.

in short, i love shows that force characters to challenge the truth of the universe. fullmetal alchemist does it wonderfully, and i hope to see where bungo stray dogs will take it.

I am forever Royai trash and always looking forward to roleplaying it with anyone. I love sending head canons and plotting up kooky things. I don't mind playing either Roy or Riza. Canon, Canon divergent, or AU I can plot and brainstorm on.

A few things about me:

She/Her, 33 Years old, and prefer to rp with 21+

I do enjoy romance in my rps, it makes it fun for me but I don't ask for it to be the end all and be all.

I am a lazy-lit, semi-lit I guess? I enjoy fast-paced rps. I don't mind if you send me a one-liner. I prefer typing 1-3 paragraphs. If you want to send more 4+, go ahead! I don't want to feel like I'm limiting your creativity.

I post at least once a day. If things come up, you want to change the plot, or you are no longer interested please tell me. I promise I won't get upset.

howdy! i think i may have posted here before some months ago, but alas i am here again.

uhh anyway! my closest-to-finished blog is @justaradioguy (yes, i am constantly having fullmetal alchemist brainrot), so you can message me there or interact w/ this post if you're interested. i can do tumblr or discord (discord preferred).

that said, i'm seeking to use any of my main FMA characters. i can either use them in their original setting (2003 and brotherhood are both good) or i can do crossovers/AUs. i'm good with people who don't know the series or would prefer a different setting or something (as i can easily translate them into a modern setting etc), i'm just really out here trying to develop their characterizations more.

i prefer a few paragraphs per response. i'm pretty flexible with ships and i'm cool with lots of different types of plots/tropes. i should note i do NOT vibe with huge age gaps or minor/adult ships. i also enjoy the occasional non-ship roleplay!!
