A DATE WITH DEATH - beyond the bet DLC, ALL ENDINGS GUIDE!
Tumblr media
your choices won't matter until the call on Day 9, therefore when Grim will ask you about your greatest fear, you'll know you're in for choosing your ending.
Tumblr media
do a quicksave when you see this, just to have a quicker process on gaining the new 4 endings.
ALL DETAILS UNDER THE CUT!
Tumblr media
ending 6, BLOOM
- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of missing the little things in life." - after talking about cup noodles, choose "When we live together, I'll get the shelves stocked with original noodles. Got it." - when the chat room goes red, choose "I won't let you take our future!" - at Grim's place, choose "I'd really just like to go home…"
ending 7, FORGET ME NOT, the only bad ending of the dlc
- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of losing the people most important to me" - after the chat turns red, choose "...If I do, will you let Casper go?" - after Grim says, "I was right to come", choose "I don't want anything bad to happen to you..." - after "What's the plan here?", choose "Lock all the doors and stay inside forever?"
ending 8, INTERWOVEN
- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of not taking enough risks." - after Grim says, "It's time," choose "S.... soul baby time...?" - after Grim talks about cup noodles, choose "We could name our soul baby 'Original'."
ending 9, METAMORPHOSIS
- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of leaving nothing behind to be remembered by." - after the chat room goes red, choose "I'll never bow down to your stupid system." - after packing, choose "Is there... some kind of safe house? A hideout we could use?" - at Grim's place, choose "Pack some bags and hide out somewhere in superhell?"

I really hope this was helpful!!

hi amy! I'm just wondering if it's deliberate that you only get the O scene in the hotel room if you're romancing them? I noticed in the code it said that it's if you have high romance stats AND high relationship stats. I was wondering if this was on purpose or if it was supposed to be an "or" situation? (I only ask because I'm not romancing them but I still love them🥺)
yes it’s on purpose </3 O would never act that impulsively in any other circumstance sorry aha
there will be platonic-only scenes in the future dw :)

i've recently been playing a TON of cult of the lamb, the brainrot is so real... so real to the point of me 100%ing the game and then writing a steam guide about how i killed the bosses without taking damage! whew~ anyways, along with that steam review i made some custom icons in the style of the game's achievements! i think they turned out pretty cute :3

It brings me great joy to see so many new users of our D.D.D. system, and I would like to take a moment to share a little knowledge  for those of you struggling with the Ruri-tunes events. In this lesson, I will show you the way to gain the resources needed to rank for Free2Play players.
Tumblr media
Now if you would like to join me, Click below to continue.
Tumblr media
Naturally, we would all like the opportunity to rank and gain the prestige and awards.
Not everyone is able to afford the cost of some of our Akuzon specials, however. This guide is for those who are "Free 2 Play", or f2p.
If you can afford it, the VIP monthly premium is a great way to get a leg up on these competitions when you subscribe long term, so please consider this if you are able.
Tumblr media
Now, onto the lesson.
One of the more difficult aspects of events is the lack of Action Points, or "AP" to fully complete every level daily. To combat this, you only have to employ one simple trick.
Tumblr media
Do not, under any circumstances, click on the 1x - 3x clear! You must move through the Battle menu instead.
As long as you are able to clear an S, you should use the Skip. Indeed, it does take a little longer every day to do this three times per level, but I will explain how this benefits you.
Tumblr media
On the surface, the most immediate benefit is the experience your cards gain towards leveling. The more your cards are leveled in this natural way, the less Grimm you have to spend on leveling them in Contacts.
However, there is a less immediate benefit.
Tumblr media
Excellent, a surprise guest. This is exactly what we want. Leveling your cards is a bonus, but we also get additional gifts when using the Skip function instead of Clear.
You should become intimately familiar with how your card's subjects prefer to be interacted with, and sometimes you can even recieve a bonus AP gift. While Grimm, Raven, and AP are great gifts that can assist you in events, the real treat comes next.
Tumblr media
Here in your To-Do is where it gets exciting. As you can see, you can gain bonuses from the Surprise Guests as well as using the characters in battle. You do not get these bonuses when you automatically clear, and they are easy to rack up.
These do not expire and they continue to earn toward the next milestone, so it is worthwhile to save them for the occasion that you do not have enough AP to complete the event levels daily.
In this picture, I have 11 visible x50 APs waiting for me to use when I need them, however since they can stack, more often than not when I redeem one, the next one is already ready to redeem.
There are additional places to gain AP and resources such as Grimm and energy drinks; your card's Devil Tree!
Many of the low ranking cards offer resources for low cost in exchange. I also recommend completing your tasks in Akuber for additional materials to unlock these benefits. (as well as the daily bonus 10 AP)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, your D.D.D. may occasionally gift you AP into your mailbox for updates, participating in events, and Lesson releases. You can hold onto these, as long as you mind the expiration dates.
To summarize your sources of AP for events, which you can start gathering at any time, I have compiled a list below. I have marked the sources that you can redeem at any time, redeem for a limited time, or the ones you must collect daily/automatically collected by color.
Fridge Time +60AP (Set reminders if it helps)
Receiving AP from Friends up to +50AP (A common strategy is removing idle friends to replace with active friends who will send you AP daily. However, it is understandable why this may not be desirable to some.)
Sending AP to Friends x3 +10AP (Daily)
Akuber +10AP (Daily)
Surprise Guest x3 +10AP (Daily)
Getting S rank in Battle x3 +10AP (Daily)
Ranking Reward Bonus +50-200AP (Usually expires in 60 days)
Surprise Guest Gift +10AP
Birthday Event Bonuses (You may refrain from collecting gifts you earn until needed)
Lesson Release Bonus +100AP (Usually expires quickly)
Exchange +30AP (Costs 1 ticket, on participating events)
Raven -> Demon Voucher -> Exchange Ticket (Costs 45 Raven, my recommendation if you go this route is to wait until you can purchase 10 Demon Vouchers to do a 10-Card pull to guarantee at least one SSR+ cheat card.)
Game Update Bonus +100AP
Devil Tree +30AP (Costs materials and Grimm)
Demon Rewards for Surprise Guests +50AP (Stacks)
Demon Rewards for using them +50AP (Stacks)
Event Rewards/Celestial Box, depending on the event, will vary. Please consult your events bonuses to work them into your plan, if appropriate.
Login Bonus/Event Login Bonus, varies
Level Up, +Your Max AP
Flash Sales:
20DP: AP Recovery Set, +200AP & x3 D-Energy [12 hour cooldown, Triggered by AP depletion]
99DP: Congratulations Set, +100AP & x5 Demon Voucher [Triggered on Level Up]
It is important to plan your event and usage of your AP based on how long you can hold onto it for. Using the daily assets before you use the longer term assets is part of an excellent game strategy.
Finally, I would like to advise you of "Cheat Cards". These are cards that are released in the Gacha preceding the event, and when you collect them you receive a bonus when collecting the event materials. Using your demon vouchers as advised above in sets of 10 will increase your chances of obtaining these cards. The cards you obtain and level up will assist you greatly.
There you have it. There are loads of wonderful ways to gain resources to excel at events. You may find yourself ranking quite highly just from this one simple trick of earning and saving AP until you are ready to use it.
Tumblr media
Did you find this lesson informative? I will attempt to provide additional tricks for new users as they come to mind. Enjoy, and I shall see you next time.

Tumblr media
so, since I got all the achievements, here's how to get all the achievements and endings on "a date with death" under the cut!
Tumblr media
ALL ENDINGS:
ending 1, semi bad ending. It's honestly the fastest to get. Choose whatever answer you want for the first two days, but during the soul connection on day 3, choose the panicked options as in: “Grim… ma—maybe this is a bad idea…”, and then “I… I think something’s wrong… this doesn’t feel right…”, then “Please… stop…”. The story will finish and you'll get the achievement.
ending 2, you lose the bet (bad ending). Be distant and dismissive, and pick more negative choices throughout the game, don’t water your plant on any of the days. don't open the window to get the flowers until it's your only choice when he shows up with the bouquet, then on day 6 choose: “Vaguely, yeah.” just before the first call, and “I don’t mind. I’ll take the sickness. The taint.”. The story will go on and you'll get the achievement.
ending 3, you win the bet. Be flirty all the way through, do your worst girlie, on day 6 choose: “You really know how to sweep me off my feet.”, “You’re cute. Cute and stupid.” and “How do I stop? What if I give it all away?!”. Once the story is completed you'll get the achievement and a super cute CGI of Grim.
ending 4, dual reapers. Since it's the DLC ending, it doesn't give you an achievement. If you decide to buy it, just choose DLC choices throughout the game, you'll recognise them immediately because there's a ★ next to them, for example: "Do you like me, Casper? ★"
ending 5, wedding. As soon as you suggest what's going to happen if he loses the bet, choose "Your hand in marriage." Joke about a wedding if given the change within the next day. On day 5, choose: “Want to meet the in-laws, Grim?”, and on day 6, choose: “I feel touched!”, and then, “How about a shotgun wedding?”
Tumblr media
ALL ACHIEVEMENTS
First Chance at Death: this achievement will pop up as soon as you are finished creating your MC.
The First Day[...] The Sixth Day: you get these achievement as soon as you complete your day in game.
My Little Baby: interact with the pet you choose.
Serenity: water the plant on your bedtable, once is enough for this achievement.
Blooming Flowers: you'll need to water the plant once every day. It's easier if you do this while following any of the good endings.
Untrustworthy: you'll get this achievement once you get ending 1.
Take My Soul: you'll get this achievement once you get ending 2.
Dead Roots: do ths while going for ending 2, don’t water the plant at all. check on it on day 6 and on the last day before chatting; if you click on it by mistake during the previous days, choose not to water it.
Sealed with a Kiss: you'll get this achievement once you get ending 3.
Our Wedding: you'll get this achievement once you get ending 5.
Eavesdropping Champion: interact with the door every single day, and always choose to eavesdrop.
Patience: wait for the very last day. check your Internet browser in game before starting the chat with Casper, and wait for about a minute with the browser open! you'll see a white screen and the text changing from something like "there's nothing here" to "okay, click here to get your achievement", you click on the text and it's done!!!

Quick & Dirty Guide to the Magia Exedra Mermaid Witch/Oktavia von Seckendorff Boss Fight
Tumblr media
I've seen very few video guides for this and only, like, one post on Reddit? So here's a quick writeup.
Team Comp: If you're attempting to do this at the recommended power, you should bring two breakers. Since you're playing the game, you have Lux!Madoka; you need to bring her. My other Breaker was Pluvia!Madoka, but if your other breaker is a 4* you should be fine. If you don't have any 4 or 5* breakers at all besides L!Madoka, you might need to bring a third breaker, but for most people that won't be necessary. The rest of my team was an attacker, a debuffer, and a sustain, all of which were 4* characters (specifically White Camelia!Nanaka, Unknown Flying Fire!Ayame, and Lynx Impact!Yuma). I recommend bringing a debuffer over a buffer in order to counter OvS's self-buffs somewhat.
Levels: Oktavia is a character power/DPS check, so you do have to just put a certain number of levels into your characters or you won't get anywhere. I was able to get through with a team that was in the 40-45 range in terms of level, but I also had everyone's Magic Level between 30-41, and I'd leveled the special attacks on both of my breakers (one to lvl 2, the other to lvl 3). In general, my order of priority for leveling was Breakers>Attacker>Support/Sustain.
Portraits: I ground my way through enough of Battler Mode to have Witch portraits for my whole team: Rose Garden and Graffiti Witch on my breakers, Sweets Witch on my attacker, Rose Garden Witch Minion on my debuffer, and Darkness Witch on my sustain. If you have portraits with better stats/more benefits for specific characters, by all means use those instead. I also leveled both of the portraits on my breakers to lvl 2.
Strategy: OvS is a two-stage fight the first time you do it. The first stage is not that bad; the second stage is the problem. In a lot of Magidora fights, you want to save up your specials for when the enemy's break gauge is down, but not on this one! First, OvS can deplete your MP, so holding the special might mean she takes your MP before you can use it. Second, OvS gets a progressive stacking buff as the fight goes, so you want to get the break gauge down ASAP. So just fire specials as you get them, and only actually try to hold anything when the break gauge is wayyyy down. Once the gauge is all the way down, hit as hard as you can as fast as you can. It took me two breaks to fully kill her. OvS, like canon!Sayaka, can heal herself, so if you aren't able to deal enough damage the first time, she will just heal while you're attempting to break her break gauge a second time. In general, if you haven't gotten her at least close to halfway down before she reforms her break gauge, you probably need to go back and level your characters more.
That's all I've got; good luck all!
