#Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

I was playing Game Of Thrones - Kingsroad, and...

(English is not my mother language so I'm very sorry)

I was disappointed. I don't mind the idea of the player character being the bastard child of a minor noble. However, it doesn't make much sense, especially if the character you create is female: how can she just walk by the walls of Castle Black and nothing happened? Lmao???

Women are not allowed there, except for rare exceptions (e.g. Melisandre and Stannis' wife). I would have expected a bit more realistic roleplaying. Second thing: the PG has literally no choices to make (it's very passive), nor he/she has a well-defined temper. Which doesn't make the game very interesting. It's a bit of a characteristic of all MMORPGs actually... (which is why I do not like them). I would have instead preferred a "split" game like RDR2, with the normal RPG part and possibly the possibility of playing MMO (like in RDR Online).

Another thing: armor and weapons. My favorite class would have been the thief but the armor is HORRIBLE (and you can't change it????? Not without paying at least...) and I would have preferred to use a bow instead of throwing knives (and again, you can't change the type of weapons). And a bastard sword. I love bastard swords... btw I'm very pissed off.

Your (father's) town: you can technically improve it but visually it changes practically nothing. It remains a half-destroyed dump with muddy streets. So....... idk.......... Meh.

The protagonist (COMPLETELY RANDOMLY) can touch the heart trees and interact with them. It's not normal, only Bran Stark can do it more or less (and only because he was trained by Brynder Rivers), so give me a background story that explains how the PG can interact with the fucking trees.

And....... Drogon as the world's boss. Hello??? Drogon is in Essos. It makes no sense at all.

Other preferences I would have liked:

- A lil more fantasy setting based also on the books and not just the series.

- More weapons and armours choices that change appearance (Skyrim style or like in any decent rpg).

- More mount choices without having to pay. The breeds must be divided into different regions with different prices (e.g. a Dornish stallion can also be bought in the stables of the larger cities of Westeros, but will cost more than buying a Dornish stallion in Dorne).

- More in-game choices with actual repercussions. I know it's difficult since the basic story can't be changed, but anyway... (actually if they had taken inspiration from the books and not from the TV series, since Winds of Winter hasn't come out yet, the choices would have been quite free).

- Bigger open world, The Witcher 3 style, possibly with multiple loading screens (Skyrim style) if the game gets too heavy. I don't mind the loading. I want immersion! More places, more big maps, more interesting quests, more interactive NPCs!

- I really wanted the settings as described in the books (e.g. Winterfell is really tiny in the video game????)

- Different backgrounds. Cyberpunk style, with different prologues that eventually lead the protagonist to the same beginning. Also, initial stats. A bit fallout-esque. With a "lucky" stat, which is always fun. AND, I would have love choosing pros and cons of the PG. They have to impact the game and the dialogues and choices.

- Religion matters a lot in ASOIAF. I would have preferred a stat-leveling system based on the 7 gods (+ possibly old gods and R'hllor and others deities as "bonuses" during main story progression). A bit like the skill trees in Skyrim.

... Alright now I feel like writing my own ASOIAF RPG. Damn. Tumblr community please help me. We must release our own game!!!! I'm very angry ................

I have a little head cannon that she is the closet to her uncle so his death hits the hardest. I really like the storyline and the gameplay so far. She is my second playthrough.
