A bunch of folks kept saying the Wii U is dead because Xenoblade Chronicles X is finally being ported to Switch.

In response, I spent my free time demonstrating why Switch ports are different experiences than playing on a Wii U gamepad.

Need for speed 2 – city ride and little about gamepad

I play, from time to time, with my retro notebook Asus F3S. So, I have there Windows Vista. And little racing game. Need for Speed 2 Special Edition. Super racing, excellent cars, exotic tracks all over the world.

But, this game does not have lots of tracks to ride. I check options. Type of opponents.  And, something like that. But, one interesting thing I find. If to remove opponents. So, it will be such a city ride. As, it was in first part. Or like Road Rash. But without opponents. And this means, different and random cars on the road. Just like you are riding to the countryside.  And different cars are going by your side. They are going by the road with their own things to do. They are not a racing cars. Trucks, for example. Casual cars.

So, I have opened this game mode for myself. If you want something, so go to settings and remove opponents. And it will be a new game mode! As idea, it plays another way. So, you played with opponents. Play without them. You can do these kind of attempts.

And, one more thing, I have joystick, it is beautiful, very old. DVI tech. And, I try to connect it. It is usb. And operation system Vista takes it. Everything is ok. But, with this game or I try also with Colin Mc Rae Rally 2, I do not have way to connect with game itself. Some simple note! Joystick anyway is cool! Looks like, it is old and I need to do some more things! Yes, and games themselves are from second part of 90s.

It is little like a big thing like duke joystick for very first xbox. Well, saying the truth, not like this. And a little to this side. Maybe, it is from age of multimedia, 90s-beginning 2000s. Maybe. I think to calibrate it to some game.

I thought to play Need for Speed, to ride with joystick. With a wind. But, I am ok to play with keyboard. With the mode without opponents. As a new game. To go from point A to point B. As it was with the very first part. And I like this mode a lot. It is so cool, there is this mode here too! It is like a car driving simulation. By the highway. You are going. It depends on road. Winter, summer. City, forest. Driving with a pleasure. Cruise!
