Have you found anything relating to Lotor’s generals plot lines in season 8? If Ezor was meant to be dead, and Zethrid redeemed, how would Acxa and her react to Lotor’s return? I wonder if it was ever something they wanted to explore or were they going to cap it off with Acxa and Zethrid’s talk.

Firstly, thank you for the question! I hope you're having a wonderful day.

Do you know what's funny about this?! We were literally just talking about this today.

We are sure that any remnants of the generals having a subplot would've been lost in the mix unfortunately, considering Lotor was cut out of Season 8 (allegedly - Dreamworks & WEP, don't come for me please lol) so subsequently, if there was a subplot involving the generals and Lotor, that would've been scrapped too.

That being said, usually we've been able to find remnants of a missing plot line somewhere amongst the edited mess. That's how we found out Allura & Keith were allegedly beefing in the love triangle. More on that later; not the time.

With them unfortunately, we believe after many, many rewatches with the generals in particular, it does and did unfortunately cap off at the Zethrid & Acxa discussion. Ezor wasn't meant to be back; she was meant to be dead, and thus the whole motivation for the Grudge episode. She was added in very last minute (as also pointed out by Team Purple Lion) due to backlash with Adam's Robotech/Macross inspired death, and the backlash of how they introduced Adashi in general.

✨ Theory Time ✨

Maybe there would've been a scene between Acxa & Lotor in Uncharted Regions (fits the theme of the episode title; they haven't spoken since... y'know) to make amends and provide closure on their relationship.

Acxa's motivation was to follow Lotor as she's grateful to him in ways we can't even imagine as the viewer. There's one important theme that flows throughout Voltron: Legendary Defender... The importance of found family. They were Lotor's found family. Rejected by the world for being half-breeds, they came together to dismantle the empire.

Her motivation to follow Keith was (at least in our humble opinion) to always find Lotor at the end of the day... Keith & Allura lead to Lotor. If you think about it, Acxa was his most trusted general, faked a betrayal + knew plans that Ezor & Zethrid did not.

Lotor took her in and treated her equally in a world where nobody else did as a half Galran, and that is SO important. It would make sense that she's joined the coalition not just for Keith per say, but to ultimately find Lotor again, whilst also finding a much greater purpose within this universe.

(Coran talking about how Allura may have known Keith was the key to the Galra's future... cough, cough).

Realistically speaking - As soon as Lotor wakes up, they would've began the preparation for the climax of his redemption arc. The writers wouldn't have much time before the final battle to provide closure to a lot of plot lines before Hunk & Coran go to get the Balmera, Honerva brings her EVA and breaks down reality, and it all goes to absolute chaos.

Positively speaking, I'd like to think there was at least a scene storyboarded where Acxa & Lotor reunite one last time before the final battle on the Atlas. Maybe a hug scene with Lotor mentioning how grateful he is to her and the generals... Especially with the loss of Ezor, we believe they all needed some closure there before everything goes to chaos.

This is just a selfish want of mine, but I would've also loved to have seen how Lotor met all of his generals, their backstories as to how they found Lotor, and vice versa in greater detail... maybe in another reality.

OK, I have 14 requests pending and a lot to do for myself, but you HAVE to listen to this crossover AU idea I made out of pure resentment and willpower.

You all know of my dislike of both the Voltron ending and the Shera series, so I decided to make this self-indulgent AU with my favorite characters from each series. Lotor and Adora. Here goes.

WHAT IF: GALRA! GENERAL! ADORA AU

Imagine that somehow, when Lotor and his generals are looking for a way to travel to other realities in search of Quintessence, they end up intercepting Hordak's portal, which creates a wormhole that instead of bringing Adora to Hordak, brings Adora to the Galra.

I like to think that Lotor is sincerely not in favor of indoctrinating this baby (who can't even return to her world) in the style of the Garla, so at the insistence of the generals he ends up pseudo adopting the baby.

And Adora grows up with 4 violent but affectionate mothers, and a more subtle father who would definitely burn all the Galra for her.

This Adora really doesn't start training until she's like 14-15 years old? Precisely because she wants to help her "family", and even though Lotor protests... he really can't say no to Adora.

This Adora not only has less Traumas, but she's more determined, more mischievous, more sassy. Living with the generals and Lotor, she learned how to handle situations so that they turn out the way she wants. That and about 4 different types of fighting styles.

Something my sister added is that this Adora always has her head held high, as it is something that both Lotor and the generals taught her to do, to be proud of who she is, to never be ashamed and not to bow down to anyone :,) my bb

I also think that Adora's influence on Lotor/the generals not only toughened her up, but softened them in return, they are more empathetic than the original series (so the Alteans thing is a big NO NO here).

Tell me what you think about this! I could go into more depth about this Adora's relationship with the other characters or how I imagine the story would be.

me gusta pensar que Lotor sinceramente no esta a favor de indocrinar a esta bebe (a la cual nisiquiera puede regresar a su mundo) al estilo de los Garla, por lo que por insistencia de las generales termina pseudo adoptando a la bebe.

y Adora crece con 4 mamas violentas pero afectivas, y un papá mas sutil pero que definitivamente quemaria a todos los Galra por ella.

esta Adora realmente no empieza a entrenar hasta que tiene como unos 14-15 años? justamente por querer ayudar a su "familia", y si bien Lotor protesta... realmente el no puede que decirle que no a Adora.

esta Adora no solo tiene menos Traumas, sino que es mas decidida, mas travieza, mas sassy. viviendo con las generales y Lotor, aprendio como manejar las situaciones para que salgan a su antojo. eso y unos 4 tipos diferentes de estilos de lucha.

algo que mi hermana agrego es que esta Adora siempre esta con la cabeza en alto, ya que es algo que le enseñaron a hacer tanto Lotor como las generales, a ser orgullosa de quien es, a nunca tener vergüenza y no doblegarse ante nadie :,) mi bb

tambien creo que la influencia de Adora en Lotor/las generales no solo la endurecieron, sino que los ablando a ellos en retorno, son mas empaticos que la serie original (por lo que lo de los alteanos es un gran NO NO aqui).

I said in one of my previous posts that I headcanon Lotor as being disgustingly straight and I'd like to clarify

In my head Lotor is so straight it physically ills you

He's so straight he doesn't even know what the word 'gay' means

So straight he can't even fathom gay people

He has no idea two of his generals are lesbians. He just thinks they're really good friends.

And Team Voltron? He automatically assumes they're all straight too, and when he sees the Red Paladin and Blue Paladin sucking face in the hallway he just assumes the Red Paladin is a woman cause of that long hair.

And then the next time he sees Keith, Lotor's like "well hello miss", and gets a face full of fist

So straight that when Ezor tries to explain gay people to him while he's covering his face with an ice pack, he looks at her with a dumb expression

Galra Genetics

Basically just a list of unique Galra only genetics I've seen within the show.

1. Hair line/Markings:

The Galra seem to have a very specific hair line within the show that can be seen even on scalier Galra, such as Zarkon. This Hair line isn't as straight as others we've seen in the show and appears to point down closer to the Galrans' face (much like a widow's peak) in comparison to other races. Galra with markings instead of large quantities of fur tend to also have this as their markings end up pointing towards their face as seen with Ezor, Narti, and Ranveig. This is seen in only Galra and Galra half breeds, such as Lotor's generals.

2. Mohawk/head point:

Mammalian Galra typically have a Mohawk on the top of their heads and reptilian Galra tend to have the scales end at a point as seen above. Though there are some Galra that don't quite have this such as ranveig, I haven't seen the specific type of hair growth on any other races. And while one could dress their hair up like a Mohawk, the Galrans tend to be more naturally occurring. Possibly due to skull shape? Or maybe some genetic evolution not told to us in show.

3. Detached ears/predators ears:

This refers to the loose skin and tissue at the bottom of the ear. This is the area where you'd typically attach earrings to. Detached ears are when that skin and tissue is not attached to the side of the head where the jawbone meets the skull. Having detached or attached ears will not affect your hearing in any way. Galra tend to have detached ears or Animal ears genetically closer to that of predators. I tried to see if there were any types of classifications to animal ears and couldn't find squat.

4. Elongated arms:

While human arms are typically long enough to be a hip length or a tad lower the Galran arms are a tad closer to the knee than other limbs shown in show. This also indicates that unlike humans, when Galrans' stretch their arms away from their bodies, the length from one arm to the other may not match the length of the individual's body like it does for Humans.

5: Sharp pupils/overall eyes:

Just as said, the Galra typically have sharper more predatory like pupils compared to other races. Though some Galra seem to lack any distinct factors to their eyes compared to other Galra, my personal theory is that when a Galran undergoes large amounts of quintessence treatment, the quintessence in the body begins to take over and seemingly hide the pupil, iris, or other parts of the eye. We can see this happen first hand with Haggar/Honerva and Zarkon. As well as Sendak when we see an alternate version of him in season 8. Other factors of the Galran eye, the Sclera is yellow in color instead of white and the iris is usually red in coloration. I've also noticed that in terms of eye shape, eyes lacking in an iris or pupil, tend to have a more exhausted expression to them (dipping downwards and having eye bags). This could also be attributed to larger amounts of quintessence within the body.

While I have studied with ambition into these topics I'm not a viable source for information regarding anything in relation to science and at most may know more than the average individual but that's about it.

the funniest thing about the general keith au is that keith has no idea what's going on.

yeah, he kind of got kidnapped by the empire, but the specifics get a little weird - technically he was the one that sent out a transmission with the express purpose of his mom's people finding him, he just didn't know they were conquerers. and he's spent a very long time with them. at this point, they're more family to him then humans are.

does he hate humans? no. his dad was great, and he had a friend who was very kind to him, even if his friend aged and keith didn't.

but he's still put that part of his life past him. he's content, for lack of a better word, being with lotor (in more ways than one).

now all of a sudden, voltron is back, and all four paladins are human. they fought once, and then the next time they encounter each other again, keith can definitely tell they're way more uneasy about him.

why him? if anyone, he would've thought narti's gifts or ezor's invisibility would warrant more worry. it's not like they know he's half-human.

the third time they meet, the yellow paladin asks if he's being held hostage, and the fourth time, the blue paladin chases him down a hallway to try to speak with him, aggressively or not.

~ Thace is a little bit of a hopeless romantic like Ulaz, but unlike Ulaz he's not always the best at expressing his romantic interest for you

~ Ulaz is a hopeless romantic and a complete sweetheart even though he acts stoic and a bit distant when others are around, but when it comes to you, his true love, he wants you to know how much he truly loves you

~ One of the most romantic things a person can do at the beginning of a relationship is write a love letter to their true love, so that's exactly what he does

~ The two of you can't be together all the time yet because of his position amongst the Blades, so writing love letters are his way of being intimate with you whenever he's away

~ Obviously there's no mail service in space, so he has Keith deliver the letters to you

~ He writes down how he feels about you in the most personal, sincere, meaningful way possible that will have you swooning as soon as you read the letter

~ While Ulaz writes the letter he writes poetically from his heart and re-reads each sentence after he finishes writing them to make sure there's no grammar mistakes and that nothing sounds cringey

~ Writing a love letter is the most heartfelt way one can express their feelings for someone they love deeply

~ Ulaz knows that you'll absolutely love the love letters he wrote for you

~ And you do; they're the most romantic thing you've ever read and you do your best to write love letters in response

~ Until you and Ulaz are permanently reunited with each other, you both send each other love letters that you both save for momentum

~ Honesty, Ezor could just tell you that she likes you since your bedroom is right across the hallway from hers aboard Lotor's main ship, but she wants to do something really cute and she decides to write a love letter to you

~ Of course, she takes her time to write it to make sure it sounds sincere, genuine and very loving

~ Ezor isn't really good with poetry and ends up asking Lotor for advice because she's not necessarily the best at long declarations of love

~ Lotor helps her out because she's one of his oldest friends and he wants to see you and her end up as a couple

~ Ezor doesn't have as much patience as her teammates, she really likes you and she just wants to tell you

~ She ends up confessing her feelings for you in the love letter just to get it over with

~ It would crush her if you didn't reciprocate her feelings, at least with the love letter she wouldn't have to face that rejection in person

~ In the end, after you find the love letter in front of your bedroom door, you seek Ezor out and the two of you end up together as a romantic couple

~ Since Ladnok is a high ranking commander in the galra empire she has the privilege to take anyone as a romantic partner, even a servant

~ Ladnok likes you more than anyone and she thinks the two of you would be a good match for each other, and she can tell that you have a slight crush on her, so her way of letting you know that she's interested is by writing love letters to you

~ Writing a love letter to someone is a very serious thing; Ladnok takes her time to write the first one since she wants you to know how she feels about you, but at the same time she doesn't want to come on too strongly

~ Ladnok makes sure to include how much she truly values you as a person rather than a servant, the last thing she wants is to accidentally make you think that she's taunting you

~ Usually interspecies relationships are looked down upon in the empire, although since both you and Ladnok are women it's more accepted

~ Honesty, Ladnok felt a little nervous when she wrote the letter because she was expressing her feelings for you on paper, she just wanted you to know how much she liked you

LOTOR GENERAL KEITH !!

While Keith was working with lotor and fighting Voltron, he had favorites. Of the paladins that is. He had seen coran once before officially working with Voltron. And coran seemed nice. Like an uncle. Keith couldn’t bring himself to harm him.. so he made ezor do it lol

His favorite paladin was definitely hunk. He just seemed so.. calming? Safe? The warm feeling he got when he was around the other generals, mainly acxa, his bestie and fav general. Mind you, he’s worked with lotor for a few years but not his whole life. Anywhodle, so hunk was his favorite

But then he was officially working with Voltron. There was lance, stupid freaking lance. He obviously didn’t trust Keith. He only started to when Keith got hurt trying to help his dumbass. Keith didn’t understand why he got nicer. But he liked it

Hunk and pidge, ofc, noticed their bestie was getting nicer to the reformed galra. So they asked him. “Well.. he risked his life to help me. Which I guess makes him pretty trustworthy.” Then they asked Keith. “What do you mean? He could’ve gotten hurt. He’s important. Why wouldn’t I get in the way of the blast? I’d do it for any of you.”

Then team punk are like “ohhh, I get it now.. they should kiss.”

Keiths pupils started getting bigger when he looked at lance, and his tail would occasionally wrap around his leg when they were alone or sitting at a table not to be seen

Literally everyone made a bet. Even the other generals! Acxa won the generals bet and pidge won Voltrons bet

Vld rewatch was a wild trip honestly. My general opinions are as follows:

Generic ass show. I'm not entirely sure why it took off as much as it did but it was generic af.

I still stand by that the Alteans spout some serious "white man's burden" type of shit. Very reminiscent of all the shit I spent slogging over in my postcol lectures.

I'm still shook that people never pointed out Alfor literally nuked Daibazaal and basically forced the Galrans into exile.

Haggar's character died when she remembered she's a mom.

I may not be huge on Allura given some of the really weird choices made with the Alteans but damn you really murked the victim of a genocide for the greater good, huh?

Kl fans really thought their ship was gonna be canon cause a couple people on the show drew art for it. I guess Revy and Roberta have been screwing behind the scenes.

Shiro is my son and the only good thing second to my best friend acquisition to come out of vld. I would have added Zarkon but we literally had only 2 seasons of him before his daddy ass was nuked.

I originally went in expecting ka1lura because that's how it always went and started actually liking a1lurance by the end. Yes it was developed pretty well all things considered. Only one other duo was developed more than them and it wasn't the two twinks.

I like the MFE pilots more than the paladins given that the latter's bond was non existent by the end.

Hunk and Shay were not a good couple in terms of development. Sorry it's cute but it's boring as fuck. No build up, they meet, the fat guy liked the fat girl and they immediately start dating. That's the way of the fat peeps in media. Lord forbid we give people who aren't skinny actual developed love stories.

My use of the word daddy is reserved for two fictional men. He's one of them.

Keith, Matt, Ezor and Allura were the prettiest characters. I can see why everyone wanted a piece of Keith in particular for their ships.

Keith x Axca would have been the lamest endgame. My boy is running around in space, is a part alien and with so many unique looking characters around him only to end up with the alien with the most uninteresting character design is just ridiculous. Had she looked buff like Zethrid or unusual like Ezor I'd have been down for it.

Krolia had bad character design. She's a generic fem galra Keith au fan art.

You couldn't get me to take [Man]'s existence seriously. If you put a loaded gun to my head and demanded I do I'd squeeze your trigger finger and off myself instead.

Shiro's new arm is UGLY.

Lotor's arc was dumb. Loved the racism of Lotor's Altean side being praised when he's faking goodness but a Galran when he's evil? As if it's not his Altean mother's obsessive ambition that led to his downfall while Zarkon literally went mad because of his love and devotion for Honerva? Oh right, Alteans good Galra bad. My mistake.

LM and JDS don't deserve a fraction of the slander they still keep getting. The show was bad in the way a generic idea tends to be when you have a bunch of different writers.

S8 is objectively awful but the quality declined after s2.

I hate their chins. Shiro was the only one with a chin I could get behind.

I really want to go back to that time when we used to slap "Disclaimer: I do not own *insert show name*. The show and all the characters are the property of *insert company/creator's name*". It will definitely reduce the obscene entitlement amongst modern audiences.

Hola hermana! La respuesta en español está abajo! Yep, she's still She-Ra, but in her own... peculiar way.

We all know that Lotor and his generals, while they conquered planets, left them independent, Adora grew up with that in this AU, so it wouldn't be crazy if, at some point when Adora is older, they arrive to Etheria.

Many aspects of Etheria remain the same, the war with the Horde, Hordak, Shadow Weaver, etc. but without Adora as we know her, some aspects change.

For example, Catra becomes dependent on Ronnie, Rogelio and Kyle instead of Adora, to cover up her disasters. She is more favored than in the original universe and that made her an even worse person. A backstaber in a nutshell.

When Lotor and Company arrive, they make a deal with the revolution/Angela that in exchange for partial control of their planet, they would get rid of Hordak. Here Adora meets Bow and Glimmer just like in the original, but with her new personality it will take a long time for them to trust her.

Anyway, when they have to make a coordinated attack with the rebellion, Adora goes with Ezor and Zethrid to wait for their signal, and while she's bored, Adora wanders around the forest a bit and BOOM, she sees the sword.

This Adora probably didn't even think about the possibility of the sword being magic, she just saw an ancient relic and wanted it for herself.

Adora took the sword with her into battle and fought very well! However, when they returned to the Bright Moon base, Angela noticed that something about the sword was... unusual. So she called Bow's parents to examine it.

And, indeed, it was She-ra's sword.

I like to think that Adora only figured out how to Transform into She-ra when one of the generals was in danger (most specifically; Narti) and that instead of screaming "for the honor of Grayskull" she screams "victory or death"

Her She-ra outfit looks more like the one from season 5 than the one from the first seasons. And she has her sword in physical form because she likes to fight even without transforming.

Lotor will probably decide to study the heart of Etheria and LightHope on his own (finding some way to dismantle it) and you can bet that Adora is ready to kick some Horde ass.

And nope, Adora from this Au is not with Catra. In fact I think she would kill her but that's a topic for another post.

está Adora probablemente nisiquiera penso en la posibilidad de que la espada fuera magica, simplemente vio una reliquia antigua y la quiso para si misma.

me gusta pensar que Adora solo descubrio como Transformarse en She-ra cuando alguna de las generales estaba en peligro (mas concertamente; Narti) y que en vez de gritar "por el honor de Grayskull" ella grita "victoria o muerte"

su atuendo de She-ra se parece mas al de la temporada 5 que el de las primeras temporadas. y tiene su espada en fisico porque a ella le gusta pelear incluso sin transformarse.

probablemente Lotor decida estudiar por su cuenta el corazon de Etheria y LitghHope (encontrando alguna manera de desmantelarla) y puedes apostar que Adora esta lista para patear traseros de la Horda.

y nop, Adora de este Au no esta con Catra. de hecho creo que la mataria pero eso es un tema para otro Post.
