How to Take a Geotag Photo in iPhone

Geotagging allows you to record your location information on photos and videos. This information is embedded in the photo’s EXIF data.

You can easily disable this feature on your iPhone by going to Settings and navigating to Privacy > Location Services. From here, you can set it to Never.

The good news is that you can still geotag photos even if your camera has no GPS. All you need is a piece of software called Aperture 3.5.

Go to Settings

Geotagging is a feature that allows the iPhone to record location information on photos and videos that are taken with the camera. This data is saved as EXIF metadata in the image files themselves. It can be helpful for organizing and sharing content, but some people are concerned about privacy and don’t want to have their location tracked.

iOS 15 and later include a way to remove location tags from photos and videos before sharing them. To do so, open the share sheet and tap “Options.” Then toggle the "Location" switch off before sending your content to prevent your location from being recorded.

Another option is to use a free app called Geotag Photos Pro, which works by recording the trip location on your phone and then importing that data to a desktop photo editor like Lightroom or Aperture. The app also allows you to export the records as GPX files for further use. However, it should be noted that using GPS apps can drain your battery quickly.

Open Camera

Unless you’ve disabled it, your iPhone automatically adds your location to pictures and videos it takes with the built-in Camera app. The information, known as geotag data, is embedded in the EXIF metadata (exchangeable image file format) stored with each media item.

You can enable or disable location services for any apps on your device, including the Camera app, in Settings. To turn it off, select Camera and then tap Never.

Leaving location services enabled for the Camera app can make it easy for strangers across the Internet to trace your photos back to your home or work. To protect your privacy, turn this setting off before sharing any photos online.

Many people own an iPhone, which is a powerful gadget that can capture amazing photos. However, when people look back at these pictures, they often wish they could know where the photos were taken. This is where geotagging comes in handy. It is a feature that adds latitude and longitude information to the photos’ metadata.

If you’re using a camera with location services turned on, every photo you take will be geotagged by default. But what if you don’t want this feature to be active? It’s easy enough to prevent it.

To do this, go to Settings and turn off “Location Services.” You should also make sure that other apps don’t save location data on your phone. This is important to avoid privacy issues. Another way to do this is by downloading an app like Geotag Photos Pro, which can help you create a list of trip photos with accurate locations and remove location data from existing photos.

Tap Location Services

By default, iOS automatically adds your current location to photos and videos taken with the Camera app. This helps apps like Maps and the Compass find your position, as well as enabling features like geo tagging.

To stop this from happening, change the "Location Services" option to "Never" in the Settings app. This doesn't remove the location data from already-taken photos, but it prevents new photos from storing their location.

A free iPhone app called Photo Footprint lets you view and edit the location information in your existing photos. It will also automatically generate a photo diary/journal based on all your photos and display them on the map so you can see where you've been.

So, I've not really mentioned it until now, but I'm working on my own M.U.G.E.N. game...

I'm going to release a small demo when the first four characters are finished; I'm currently partway through the second, and going through them quite quickly!

escapism vs reality in alien stage

in this post (elaborated greatly by geo's tags as well) i mentioned a big sua/till parallel i noticed (but didn't go into much detail because i didn't want to derail the post lol), and i wanted to go into more detail on that and the overall reality vs fantasy theme alnst has going.

sua & till both use their love for mizi as a form of escapism. sua's love for mizi and the weight of her knowledge of their universe causes her to create a safe (fake) bubble for her and mizi to exist in & makes it as perfect as it can be before they're out of time. till uses his love & admiration for mizi as a beacon of hope, as motivation to go on despite how horribly he's treated in day to day life. mizi is the brightness in both of their dull lives.

this view of mizi as a hopeful, optimistic sort-of deity sheds light onto an entire theme of alien stage, escapism vs reality. it also shows that mizi & ivan, in this specific instance, are antitheses of each other.

mizi, as a character, symbolizes hope and escapism. she is the only character out of the main four that didn't understand the exact conditions of their world due to how she was raised. she does not fully grasp how horrifying the alnst universe is until she watches sua die, which is the inciting incident for the entire series. escapism isn't possible anymore, but hope is still there when she gets rescued by hyuna and joins the rebellion.

ivan, on the other hand, literally symbolizes truth and the reality of their world. since he was born he understood the cruelty the segyein are capable of and knows exactly where he stands in the world. he is seen to be fatalistic and even nihilistic. his death, which he sees as an inevitability, is the second inciting incident (the one where everything goes to shit chaos afterward). it is a brutal reminder of the truth of alien stage to both the characters and the audience.

sua & till actively seek out mizi as solace in their pain, and they both actively avoid ivan (in their own ways) and the connections he has to reality.

sua avoids ivan because, well, he's mean to her, but mostly because he's not even trying to be mean, he's just objectively right and she doesn't want to hear it. he is a reminder not only of the cruel world they live in but her own 'twistedness'. he reminds her that she is not solely the fantasy she's created with mizi, but someone with unavoidable knowledge of the inevitable (as well as someone who is willfully keeping this information from an unknowing mizi).

till avoids confronting his feelings for ivan and confronting ivan in general because ivan confuses him. his feelings for ivan aren't cut and dry in the way his feelings for mizi are, because ivan is and always will be tied to pain and suffering for till (their first meeting in the auction shop, their miscommunication/strange relationship, the fact that ivan is the only one who sees him at his most vulnerable, etc). ivan's death forces him to confront these feelings (for ivan & about their world in general) but even then he's repressing them until he physically can't anymore.

mizi is escapism & hope, literally realized because she escapes. ivan is reality & a representation of the fate of alnst contestants, literally realized through his death.

it doesn't end there, though. sua & till are escapists running from reality (with diverging paths that are both narratively important in their own ways), while mizi represents escapism & ivan represents reality. along similar lines, but going a step further, hyuna & luka showcase these exact themes.

hyuna is the legitimate showcase of hope, of freedom. she is a free human (as free as you can get in the alnst universe) and the leader of a human rebellion focused on uprising as a race against the segyein.

luka is the perfect example of compliance within reality. he is now a two time alien stage champion and the definition of a pet, no matter how he actually feels.

hyuna & luka are similar to, but a step beyond, mizi & ivan. mizi symbolizes escapism, but she is faced with reality and must grapple it, while hyuna is freedom personified (albeit with demons of her own). ivan symbolizes reality, but he still yearns for something he thinks he'll never have, while luka completely shuts off those emotions because he knows they will only jeopardize his chances of survival.

the characters of alien stage perfectly embody one of the core themes of alien stage, the discrepancy between fantasy and truth, and the way those can coincide in a world.

It had been quiet in your bamboo forest - something uncommon now what with all these adventures and such up and about. To be frank they pissed you off, not that you could do much about it besides the usual ‘scare them to all hell and back so they never return’ but… some freaks liked that. Ew.

You lazily slept in the branches of a regular sakura tree, chest rising and falling in controlled patterns as your group slumbered around you, soaking up this beautiful lazy day as best you could before…

A loud explosion sounded off in the distance followed by Itto’s overjoyed screaming and Shinobu’s orders - all matched by Shogun rage.

… Something could happen.

The city itself looked normal - as normal as the usual hustle and bustle could be anyway - save for the usual glances towards you and your group.

R was off stealing food again, you were sure of it. The smaller, smiley red panda was nowhere to be found, but you could hear the not-so-far off screams of a poor vendor and high-pitched panda cackling not far behind.

J was perched beside you, as per usual. Rarely did he ever leave your side when you went into town, save for fights and small ‘training sessions’ of his own - you were sure you had seen him off in a flower field with some kids, the big softy.

You sniffed the air, sensing the gunpowder and unmistakable scent of ash and smoke.

You snorted and sneezed.

J nudged your side carefully and you shoved him off, lightly jogging over to an overhang and clawing your way up there, shop head below staring woefully at small pieces of fabric that fell.

Now with leverage you watched the streets for something, anything - there it was.

You watched a pillar of Geo erect itself from the ground, followed in rapid succession by bursts of Electro, then the shrill sound of Itto and gangs laughter. You huffed, leaping down in front of J and nodded in the general direction of the disruption.

J nodded and you each took off, leaving the poor vendor in the dust.

… R soon appeared after, chasing uou and J down with a ridiculous amount of meat in his maw.

It didn’t take a genius to intercept Itto’s gang as they rushed through forest and hills to hide from the Shogun’s army. After quickly rounding them up you, J and R forced them to shut it and bunker down while the Army searched high and low.

“Whoa little guy! Didn’t know you care enough about me and my guys to help us like this!” Itto exclaimed, which was immediately shut down by a growl from you, full teeth bared as you watched the mouth of the cave you had forced everyone into.

J sat closest to the front, ears trained and searching for any sound, while R lounged next to you. The sounds of armored feet slowly faded away until it was silent completely.

“Well then my little friend, looks like me and my pals can get outta your hair-“ You placed a paw on the oni’s mouth with a glare, and shuffled closer to the care opening.

Slowly you crept from darkness of the cave to the filtered shadows of the forest. And for a second, everything seemed alright. Then, you were aggressively picked up by the scruff. You yowled, body tensing as you were lifted and turned to face the Shogun.

“Where are they? Are they in the cave? How dare you hide them from me.” Her questions came rapidly, while you continued to hiss and scream.

J leapt from the shadows and sunk teeth deep into her ankle. Shocked, she let you go to try and grab at an already running J, before she could take off in a clap of thunder - you launched an attack of Dendro at her, vines wrapping around her arms, legs and waist to tie her down. Within seconds you had her encased, wriggling on the forest floor like a worm.

“Whoa!!” Itto exclaimed. He and his gang awkwardly shuffled out of the cave, some getting stuck due to sheer size compared to your hiding spot.

“You guys took her down so fast, put her own lighting to shame! Ah? Aaahh?” The oni held down an open palm to you, expecting you to slap it. You looked up at him, then back down at his hand, then sneezed into his palm and started to walk away - J and R beside you.

Ito looked at his own palm processing what you had just did, before letting out an exaggerated “EEEWWW” while shaking his hand around. After shaking his hand like a madman and near rubbing his palm raw on his pants, he rushed to catch up with you and your gang - his own following close behind.

“Okay, don’t like jokes, not a jokester, got it. But still! That was awesome lil dude!” You paused, and glanced up to Itto, who continued to glaze you.

“I mean seriously! Didn’t even hesitate you just got right up to business and hit the Shogun with the ole one-two punch! O-or vine I guess. One-two vine? One-two vines..? Anyway, I don’t know how we’ll repay you, but just remember now: you got the Arataki Neumero Uno Itto Gang in your debts! Do with that as you please.~” Itto dramatically bowed before you and your friends, his gang hesitantly followed before falling into a fit of giggles.

You turned to J and R, neither looking too interested themselves. You chuffed, and yourself little group started walking back into the forest towards your bamboo to enjoy the newfound silence. After a moment, you looked back toward Itto, who stared at you dumbly before his eyes widened and he sped up to catch your trio, his gang following close behind.

“You already got an idea for us little guy?” You smiled sinisterly back at him, and he smiled back.

“Sweet!”

You and the others lounged in your trees - you and R snacking happily on bamboo while half asleep and J down below going to town on a bone he had already chewed through.

Meanwhile, Itto and gang were on hands and knees, making the forest floor look as good as dirt, rock and dead leaves could look. Every time Itto would look proud of his work, you’d haphazardly throw another bamboo to the ground, causing him to grumble.

Maybe next time he’ll think twice about causing trouble and noise during nap time…

Itto and his gang had long since left your forest - you had no idea what happened with the Shogun either - but finally peace and silence filled the area again, perfect for napping and lazing about alll day…

Until you heard the ominous swishing of branches in your forest being cut down.

You flipped over on your branch, belly down, and faced the direction of the new annoyance. As it grew closer more and more red pandas surrounded you.

The sounds came to a halt right before your clearing and you sat up, eyes lingering on the general area of the sounds. After around two minutes passed, you turned back onto your back to continue sleeping - then the sounds came to head.

And by head, I mean through the clearing.

Red pandas flocked to the sight, all staring from the tress as one of those star twins came barreling into your home, throwing leaves all across your freshly cleaned forest floor.

You stared into the sky as the traveler moved further in, eyeing the pandas as they eyed him back. You listened to his footsteps and turned when he came close to your spot.

Then, when the time struck right, you leapt from your tree and aimed for the blondy. But instead of landing on him, you fell on his… companion.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEE” Paimon screeched. Aether turned his blade onto you, but only caught a glimpse as Paimon started to fly haphazardly through the wood.

Pandas - and J - all watched with varying expressions of interest, while Aether panicked at the sight of Paimon’s own panic.

“GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF-“ She squealed. You held on by ensuring your claws dug into her forehead, which only made her scream and cry more.

Aether began to chase, both he and Paimon slowly ascended until he was running across branches to try and catch up. You shifted around the faries head, until a quick shift in flight and you were suddenly covering hed eyes, which made Paimon scream more.

Aether made haste, rushing faster and faster over thinner and thinner branches. Running out of breath Paimon finally started to slow, which was unfortunate bwcause Aether was right behind her. He slammed into both her and you - you luckily jumping off onto a nearby branch while both Aether and Paimon were slammed into a tree.

You watched as both plummeted to the ground, gently and delicately jumping from branch to branch while they crashed into dirt and mud. The gang chuffed and sniffed at the knocked out pair down below.

You landed softly on the back of a groaning Aether, tail swishing languidly. You yawned, and in a moment of genius, pawed at the star child’s back and laid down, almost instantly falling asleep again.

Pandas followed suit, finding spaces on Aether’s warm body and drowning Paimon, gathering until it looked as though there was simply a mass of red lying across the forest floor.

Maybe, now, finally under this warm weight of fellow pandas, you’d find a moments respite of peace.

You always think about the first time you met him whenever you see him. Even now, when his gaze is fixated on you from across the ballroom as you sit on a large cushion by the Emperor’s side.

Today is the Emperor's birthday and this year, he decided to host a ball to celebrate. He sits on his throne. His wife, the Empress, is sitting beside him on her own throne.

Your left hand is being held by the Emperor. His thumb is pressed against the ring you’re wearing on your middle finger. It isn’t any common ring. It is a gold band with cor lapis as the setting stone. The jewel had the Geo elemental symbol carved into it. That same ring is given to all of the concubines as their first gift and it is required to be worn by them at all times.

Around your wrist is a corsage. A glaze lily to be exact. It’s the same color as your dress which has a lot of resemblance to the flower itself. It matched beautifully, at least that’s what anyone else would assume you’re wearing it for.

You were selected to be the newest concubine of the Emperor by his retainers nearly a year and a half ago. Every so often, he takes on a new concubine from a different region.

There were obviously many rules before coming into this life. But the most important one is that no concubine was allowed to have their own lover. That was the most crucial rule every concubine knew not to break. The Emperor was a possessive man who refused to share any of his lovers.

It was the turn of the Land of Natlan to present a fine selection of women when you were chosen. They all decided you were the best option and the Emperor would be pleased at their selection.

They were right. Shortly after, you became his favorite and Emperor Rex Lapis was infatuated with you. He lavished you with riches. Expensive jewelry, dresses, shoes. Majority of the other concubines were very jealous. Some held onto the false promises he made to them.

It bothers you a lot to receive this type of treatment. It’s hard to deal with not only the concubines taking a disliking towards you, but the Empress too. Where he used to only have the Empress at his side, he now brings you along as well.

For example, he made accommodations prior to the ball so you could be sitting next to him.

Rex Lapis let go of your hand. He stood up from his throne, tilting his head to look down at you. He gave you a curt nod which was his way of giving you permission to join the guests of the ball and socialize amongst them. He turned to The Empress and she quickly understood without him having to say a single word.

The Empress stood up from her chair, linking her arm with her husband. She held her head up high, refusing to spare you a second glance. The action only made you sigh as you watched the two of them maneuver through the guests. Of course she didn’t like any of the concubines. She had no reason to. But she disliked you the most. She saw you as competition for her husband’s attention and desire.

There were so many times you simply wanted to tell Empress Ningguang you had no interest in her husband besides what your duties in the palace were.

Your gaze wandered back to a certain someone in the crowd. His distinct headpiece made it easier to find him. His attention isn't on you at the moment, rather the men he’s currently speaking to. The last thing you two wanted was to make things obvious.

You wished you could proclaim to the entire empire who your lover was.

General Cyno of Sumeru.

He was part of the The Seven Generals of Teyvat. One came from each region and were chosen by the Emperor himself. They were meant to act as not only leaders, but representatives of the Emperor in their respective regions. They held more power in their homelands in comparison to when they were in Liyue.

The other six were General Xiao of Liyue, often considered the favorite of the Emperor, General Diluc of Mondstadt, General Ayato of Inazuma, General Wriothesley of Fontaine, General Ororon of Natlan, and General Ajax of Snezhnaya.

They were ordered to reside in the Palace of Liyue and rarely ever returned to their homelands unless given permission. You had seen them walking around the palace. At the time of your arrival, the only ones you had never met before were General Cyno and General Ororon.

Cyno had his own reasons. Sumeru had been in a civil war for nearly two years and the Emperor had him handling those matters on his behalf. When everything had been settled, the General was allowed to return to the Palace of Liyue. He was gone for nearly the same amount of time you had been a concubine. Interesting how life works. The very first day he came back to Liyue after the civil war of his home region is when you met him.

You stood up from the cushion, patting down your dress. Rex Lapis and Lady Ningguang were entertained with a few royal guests. It was enough time for you to slip away from the Emperor’s mind. He wouldn’t be thinking about you for the next hour or so.

You held both of your hands together in front of you and began to approach the lively crowd. A hand raised up in the air, waving to get your attention. The bright lights reflected off a gold ring, a carbon copy of the one you’re wearing. Your eyes lit up once you saw the two other recognizable faces you were searching for.

Nilou and Yoimiya, concubines of the Emperor. They’re part of the very few who weren’t, and still aren’t, jealous of the Emperor favoring you. You lean more into gathering with them because of their kind and outgoing personalities. And as much as you wanted to approach the General of Sumeru, you knew you needed to wait.

“Oh, you look so beautiful!” Nilou exclaimed once you were close enough.

“Thank you,” You flashed her a smile, eagerly greeting them both with a hug. “You two look really beautiful too.”

“Not compared to you!” Yoimiya said as you both pulled away from the embrace. “Your dress even feels like it’s made out of real glaze lilies.” She gasped when she noticed the corsage on your wrist, immediately reaching for your hand.

They continued to admire your dress for tonight’s occasion, gushing about how the color suited you and how only you could pull this look off amongst the concubines. You glanced out of the corner of your eye as Nilou and Yoimiya continued to chat about your dress to each other.

A few groups away, Cyno was with Ayato, Diluc, and Wriothesley. You could barely hear what they were talking about. Just the faint sound of General Ayato’s voice overlapping with the many other guests in the ballroom. He was listening intently like the other two with a drink in his hand. All four Generals were rather relaxed given the occasion.

He must have sensed you staring at him, because Cyno’s visible eye flicked away from his companions. Your gaze met his. It made your heart pound in your chest. Both of your hearts at that. He wanted to go over to you at that very moment but he knew the consequences. It was too early and could possibly gather unwanted attention.

It’s why it became easier to communicate with him at a distance and not have to say any words at all.

You adjusted the necklace you were wearing with your left hand. Although it was an innocent action, Cyno’s lips formed a small smile when he saw the corsage. Glaze lilies held a different meaning for the both of you. Not a single soul, besides you two, would know the significance. It was a symbol of your love, hidden in plain sight.

An unfortunate love so strong, that could never be revealed.

“Pardon me,”

You turn around, breath hitching in your chest. You forced yourself to keep the smile that wanted to appear on your face hidden.

Cyno stood behind you. He held out one hand while the other was behind his back. He was bowing in your presence. He tilted his head up slightly to look up at you. He still had that faint smile from earlier before when he first saw the corsage on your wrist.

“May I have this dance?” He asked. You couldn’t help but laugh softly. You did tell him you liked it whenever he acted chivalrous.

“You may.” Despite trying to remain serious, since it was very risky to approach you while the Emperor was around, the smile on his face widened at your answer. Cyno tenderly took your left hand in his, standing up straight. He’d like to forget about the ring on your middle finger and focus completely on the glaze lily corsage you have on.

He guided you towards the center of the ballroom where many other couples were already dancing. He never once let go of your left hand and he gently pulled you to stand in front of him. He placed his other hand on your waist. Your hand was on his shoulder and he took the lead.

It felt surreal to be this close to him in public. The only times you could be like this were during the late meetings in the palace gardens. Cyno wanted to bring you closer, but he knew better than to push his luck. Emperor Rex Lapis might be entertaining himself with his guests, that didn’t mean he wasn’t fully unaware of what his favorite concubine was doing.

Nothing was said as you continued dancing to the live orchestra. You watched as his eye wandered around, taking in your appearance again. All the concubines were elegantly dressed to appeal to the Emperor. Except that corsage and what your dress resembled was a dead giveaway to Cyno who you were trying to appeal to tonight.

Him.

“You’re divine, my lady.” He whispered. He’d made you flustered with his compliment. Ten months into this forbidden romance and you continued to shy away. Cyno glanced over briefly to locate where the Emperor was at. Rex Lapis still had Lady Ningguang at his side. He was speaking with Lord Neuvillette, mending an old friendship that had been broken decades ago. “After this dance is over, let’s go into the hallway.”

For now, you just enjoyed being able to dance with him for the time being. It was rare you two ever got these moments out in public. To everyone else, it seemed very normal. The concubines weren’t technically forbidden from speaking to men.

When the orchestra finished, the couples stepping from each other briefly to clap. Cyno took this opportunity to slip out of the ballroom with you. He intertwined his fingers with yours, discreetly weaving through the royals and nobles. You two had made it to one of the several sets of large doors leading into the ballroom. People were preoccupied with their conversations or dancing, that no one saw you two exit.

The hallways were empty. Everyone was inside of the ballroom, including the guards that patrolled the inside of the palace. They were making quite the commotion being for the Emperor’s birthday. But he wasn’t dumb enough to expose the two of you right outside. Instead, he continued to delve deeper into the intricate hallways of Liyue's palace.

Once he believed you were at a safer location, the first thing he did was wrap his arms tightly around your shoulders. His hand was on the back of your head, pressing you closer to him and he buried his face into the crook of your neck. You instinctively wrapped your arms around his torso.

He sighed against your skin. He was content being able to hold you in his arms. But if it were up to him, he would prefer to be able to hold you whenever he’d like and whenever he’d like. He lifted his head up to look at you.

“I don’t know how much longer of this I’ll be able to take.” Cyno muttered. He brought one of his hands to your face. His thumb caressed your cheek tenderly as he held onto it. You leaned into his touch, the palm of his hand pressed against your cheek.

“I don’t either.” You whispered. The warmth of your hands on his bare back was comforting to him. “Do you think we might ever be able to tell the Emperor of our love?”

“No. Not right now, at least… He treats you more like his wife than the Empress herself.” Cyno shook his head. In his honest opinion, he didn’t see it happening anytime soon. His expression became more serious and he moved a little closer towards you. “But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up hope on us.”

You exhaled at his answer. He wasn’t wrong. It was getting increasingly harder to sneak around without Emperor Rex Lapis finding out. You had been his favorite concubine for far too long now and he was showing no signs of getting bored of you. Many of the concubines said you’d only last a few months in this position.

Cyno saw the way you reacted to his words and the last thing he wanted was to ruin the mood. He cradled your face with both of his hands. He lifted your head up slightly. You immediately knew what he was asking for and you nodded. He leaned down, meeting your lips in a gentle kiss.

“I promise.” He said softly, “One day, we’ll be able to tell the entire Seven Regions of our love. And when that happens, we’ll leave for Sumeru to start our life. Together.”

I’m the anon who sent you info about Sam’s location. I don’t think I was clear enough. What I actually meant was the opposite of what you understood. I was thinking that maybe Sam was alone in that hotel and either became friends with Pedro or met him as part of a preplanned arrangement. At some point, Pedro might have asked him to take him to the distillery, and since Vicky was nearby, she joined them. That’s one possible scenario. Still, no one except them knows the real story. What puzzles me is why Vicky geo-tagged the location and shared a story with Sam’s voice—that’s the part I don’t get. And what’s even stranger is that Sam didn’t seem to mind at all about it.

See everyone is so preoccupied focussing on SH and VF, and plates on the table and whatever, even napkins that seem to fell of the table... 🙄 It baffles me and also disgusts me actually how these narratives evolves around a) a waterfall and a male voice (the part I dismiss as it is not factual proven it is his voice), b) Sam's presence in Mexico and c) a mutual follow.

But try to focus on what I do think Sam was much more interested in, as it is quite the interesting thing to read about and search out a bit more. I gave some links yesterday, but I don't think people really read the articles or even opened them.

Arriving in teyvat

Waking up in teyvat was certainly not on your bingo card for this year. You had only been playing genshin seriously for about a year or so. You had played before that, but had gotten bored after the Monstadt archon quest, because of the steep ar requirements for the Liyue archon quest.

So waking up in Liyue, specifically wuwang hill was, jarring to say the least. You had recognized the area immediately. You had basically lived in the crimson witch domain farming for your Hu Tao. Not that you had Hu Tao yet, having lost your 50/50 on each of her reruns. (Seriously! Talk about bad luck!)

As you get up you notice a vague feeling weightlessness, looking down, you noticed that you were partially see-through? What?

So the creator would probably meet Hu Tao first, as she likes the hang around wuwang (I don’t know her lore to correct me if I’m wrong) and Hu Tao would almost immediately recognize the reader as the creator due to their “golden aura.” Despite this, she’d treat you as your average ghost

The creator’s appearance would be like the ghosts seen in a game. But instead of that blueish-white color outline, the creator’s would be golden.

The creator’s ability to interact with things would be limited, only being able to slightly nudge or push things. They wouldn’t be able to pick anything up, or eat anything.

Despite this, they’re able to be seen/talk to vision holders and other elemental beings. While regular humans would only be able to sense them.

Also, the creator can possess shit, because ghost!

It’s likely that Zhongli, after catching wind of the creator’s arrival in not only teyvat, but also Liyue, would try to meet with them.

I can see the geo archon getting in contact with Ei or Neuvillette about making a mechanical puppet/body for the creator, since they were very limited in what they could do.

In their ghost form the creator would likely be able to take advantage of laylines/teleport waypoints/statues of the seven/etc. to travel around teyvat, which is how they meet with their favorite characters, wether or not they know about the creator’s arrival

The creator would probably spend a whole 6 months or longer in teyvat without a body, because the people of teyvat would make sure only the best body is given to them.

If the people of Fontaine make a body for the creator they’d probably have the the fortress of meropide temporarily stop production on gardemeks to put all their energy in making the perfect mechanical body for the creator of teyvat.

If Ei instead uses the technique she used to create the shogun and scaramouche she’d source only the highest quality materials, then spend ages meticulously working on every little detail to make sure it’s perfect

No matter how much you say you don’t care about it being perfect, the people of teyvat would consider it blasphemy to give anything less than the best for their creator.

From the beginning, this battle would only go one way.

The usurper god and her armies were launching a valiant attempt to attack him and his people, but it was only that: an attempt.

Morax would never allow it to go any further than that. 

Around him, his adepti generals gathered their forces to push back against the invaders and the air hummed with the crackle of elemental energy. Nearby, he could hear the shouts of the Yaksha and the commands of Cloud Retainer rising above the chaotic noise of the battlefield.

And ahead of him, grinning as though she was sure she would win, the usurper god raised her bloody claymore and gave a fierce war cry to rally her troops.

Fight me, the cry beckoned. Fight me and see which god will remain standing this day, Rex Lapis.

Morax advanced, gleaming spear raised in one hand. With each footstep, the ground split with golden Geo energy, leaving fissures that would remain for centuries to come. His enemy did not know his resolve, did not know Morax’s determination to see the war through to the bitter end. Whatever motivation this god had, it would shatter before his unbending will.

Only one god would emerge from this bloody Archon war, and it would be him.

In the blink of an eye, Vortex Vanquisher hurled through the air toward the usurper god, deafening shockwaves trailing behind it. Any unfortunate enemies who happened to be near its path were either thrown completely to the side or demolished by the raw power of the shockwaves.

The god managed to dodge Vortex Vanquisher embedding itself in her chest, but only just. Instead, the spear carved a bloody path along her side, ripping skin from muscle and bone. Her claymore flew from her hands, embedding itself in the bloody ground nearby.

A choked cry of pain escaped her mouth and a hand went to her side, trying to staunch the flow of divine blood from leaking into the grass and dirt. She thrust her open hand towards Morax as a blinding bolt of lightning, Electro purple, crawled along her arm before shooting out toward him. 

With a casual motion, Morax called the earth to his command. A surging wall of stone deflected the blow, scattering the Electro energy harmlessly around him. Enraged, the usurper god attempted to hurl more Electro attacks at him, looking for gaps in his stone defenses to strike him.

But whatever the earth did not stop, his Jade Shield immediately blocked. Morax was untouchable, a titan among gods and men alike.

The god, as if sensing her impending doom, frantically grabbed her claymore from the bloody ground and lunged towards him. Her movements were desperate and wild as she slashed at him; she was no longer calm and confident. Now, she was simply fighting to survive, trying to wound the titan before her to give her a single chance.

A chance she would never get.

Vortex Vanquisher, summoned back to Morax’s hand in the space of a heartbeat, buried itself in her chest and pinned her to the ground. The breath escaped her lungs in a bloody wheeze and weakening hands attempted to claw the spear from her chest.

“Y-You…” she rasped, eyes wide as she stared up at Morax. “What a-are you…”

Morax did not speak. His only answer was to reach forward and rip the spear from her chest, bone splintering and blood spraying violently on its way back out. The god gave one final, bloody gasp as her body fell completely limp on the battlefield.

He turned away, intent on finishing this battle quickly and decisively.

The Archon War would end as it always had to—with him, standing over the shattered remnants of those who had stood in his way.
