Yesterday I received two grass mats by Model Scene. One of them has all these rocks scattered around, and I believe guys from the A-frame Cabin are some kind of geologists (there are rocks and diamonds hidden in the cabin). I think the mat is perfect match for this set.

Elizabeth Alexander

Geologist and radio astronomer Elizabeth Alexander was born in 1908 in Merton, England. During World War II, Alexander investigated what is known as the "Norfolk Island Effect", an increase in radio interference near the island at sunset and sunrise. She found that this was related to radiation from the sun. After the war, she was appointed by the government of Singapore to conduct a geological survey of the island to find sources of granite for reconstruction. The resulting report laid the foundation for most contemporary geological work in Singapore.

Elizabeth Alexander died in 1958 at the age of 49.

Mountains act like a peg-Proved

There are two misinterpretations among certain classes of people who don't want to agree that (1) Allah spread the Earth with provisions. But that says Quran speaks that the earth is flat. Next... (2) They say mountains are a creation of turbulence upon the earth, that happened once upon a time and not at all functions as pegs.

Scientists and geologists already declared that a mountain acts like pegs whatever may be the mode of its creation. Arno Kleber in his book "Fundamentals of Geology", speaks that “Mountains are like a swimming iceberg, whose lower parts are below the water level. The heavier the mountains, the deeper the root" . Andre Cailleux and J. Moody Stuart, in their book "Anatomy of the Earth (McGraw-Hill Companies: 1968), Pg 220.), clearly declared that “…Mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground…" Further, Professor Siaveda, a world-renowned underwater geologist said the "... the mountains can be compared to nails holding strips of wood together and this fixing effect of mountains is known as isostasy in scientific literature… by fixing the Earth's crust they prevent any sliding over the magma layer or amongst the layers themselves.”

So the matter is clear and there should not be any disputes in this regard in the Quran when it declares mountains as pegs.

How to Kill a Baseball Player: A Short Scientific Writing

By a baseball player who took earth sciences in high school and understands the properties of a large amount (for a baseball player) of rock and minerals.

The idea of killing a geologist by leading them on with an obsidian knife and hitting them on the head with a wooden baseball bat is an interesting scientific scenario, as it has been proven that some geologists would fall for this. The question that remains is, "How would i go about killing a baseball player?" The idea of how I would go about killing a fellow baseball player is purely hypothetical and scientific. To kill a baseball player is to kill a geologist, but you would use slightly different tools. To begin, you would present to them a baseball bat made up of pure sodium metal. "That's very cool," they'd say, confident in their superior agility from running around in a square pattern. The baseball player would approach cautiously while spouting nonsense about the resource that was used to create the baseball bat. "Sodium metal is part of the alkalai metal group, and it has the atomic number of 11. However, it's use for the creation of a baseball bat is a terrible idea, as sodium is a very soft metal and is highly reactive when exposed to water, as it is known to combust when even a tiny amount of water comes into contact wi--" and then you stab them with your obsidian knife as the difference between baseball players and geologists is that geologists can only see rocks and minerals, but baseball players can only see different types of wood and hollow metal pipes.
