PART 2 | MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Whiskey had walked around the festival for a while after Eggsy took his shot, it was evening now, there was some band playing loud enough to be heard across the large fields and he needed a drink since he had finished off what was in his belt buckle.
He walked back through VIP without a problem, standing back at the bar where he lost his conquest earlier, he waved the bartender over, asking for a whiskey on the rocks. He had half a mind to check in with Eggsy but just as he was about to, a sweet voice came from behind him.
“Nice outfit, cowboy, very on brand for the festival” you said as you walked around to stand at his side, Jack raised his eyebrow, his lips turning up into a smirk.
“Oh if only you knew, darlin” he drawled, holding his hand out to shake yours as his eyes raked over your form. You had on a rather revealing outfit that left little to the imagination but just enough to make him want to know more, along with your heavy combat boots that were covered in mud, you’d obviously been having fun. “My name's Jack, what’s your name?”
“Wow… even got the accent to go with it” you smiled up at him, taking his hand and giving it a firm shake. Jack got the bartender's attention, telling him to get whatever drink “this pretty young thing wants”, you’d be lying if you said it didn’t make you heat up hearing him refer to you like that.
“Now, tell me darlin, what’s a sweet thing like you doing out here all alone?” he asked, taking his glass of whiskey and leaning against the bar on his elbow so he could fully face you.
“Oh I’m not alone, my friends are just over there” you said, waving your hand in the direction of a small group of girls and guys who were happily chatting away. One of them waved you back over, and you made a motion that looked as if you were running your hands along an invisible cowboy hat on your head. It caused her to whisper to your other friends, who looked over at you and Jack.
Jack put his hand up slightly to wave hello, giving them a nod, very cowboy like you thought, before biting his lip at you and leaning over.
“Okay, so what’s a pretty girl like you doin coming over here, talking to me?” he said, his southern drawl dropping an octave. Your face broke into a smile, as you took a small step forward, you reached for your drink that the bartender slid in your direction, your other hand reaching up to fiddle with the collar of his leather jacket as you got closer.
“Girls gotta get a drink somehow” you teased before turning on your heel, Jack stood there, shocked for a second before throwing his whiskey back and following you as you walked off. He wasn’t mad at the idea you used him for a free drink (or view from behind) but fuck he didn’t want you to go so soon, you had teased him, intrigued him and he needed something to do whilst he waited for Eggsy, what better option than a cute girl?
“Now that’s just mean, you’d really break a cowboys heart?” You heard him say as he caught up with you. You rolled your eyes, turning around, stopping the man in his tracks. You were stood pretty much chest to chest, you were so much closer to him than anticipated, so close that you felt a little cold sting of his large belt buckle against your stomach, so close that you could smell his delicious scented cologne, it smelt faintly of oranges, musk and leather.
“You, aren’t a cowboy. You just look like one and sound like one” you said, tilting your head. “Now if you were, a real cowboy that is, then that might be a different matter” you said, taking a drink from your plastic cup.
Jack tilted his head down, looking at you over his sunglasses, he hooked his thumb into his belt, his thumb brushing your midriff, which you tried to ignore but Jack was trained to see people's emotions change and he definitely saw the shift in your body language.
“Honey, I can assure you, I’m as real as they come” he said, his eyes were darker than you anticipated, only seeing them behind the yellow tint of his aviators. You bit your lip a little, he was hot, he was older, clearly but something about him seemed so different to any other guy who you hit on for a free drink. It made you shiver when he leaned down, right by your ear, whispering so only you could hear “Have you ever ridden home on a real cowboy, gorgeous? Could show you just how much of a cowboy I really am”
And you were damned from that moment onwards, this man, stood tall, broad chested in front of you, a smirk playing  on his plush lips causing his perfectly groomed moustache to slant, you were weighing up your options. You could sleep with this guy, could be the best one night stand of your life or it could be really disappointing, either way, you didn’t have much to lose. You were at a Glasto after all, and what happens at Glasto, stays at Glasto. Whiskey could see the cogs turning behind your eyes, so he leaned down in one more attempt to seal the deal and whispered.
“Whaddaya say, darlin? I’ll even let you wear my hat if you wanna” and you were a goner. You threw your drink back, throwing the cup in a nearby bin. You turned to your friends for a second before grabbing Whiskey’s hand, dragging him along behind you. He didn’t hesitate to follow you, he followed you right to your tent, he was expecting some sort of dingy, two person tent, Jack was a man who liked finer things but he would have got down in the mud for you right there and then.
You threw the fabric back on the doorway to the tent, you ran some sort of zip around the outside, Jack took a step back and turned away from you for a second. He tapped the side of his glasses quickly.
“Ginger, I’m clocking out for a while” he said, putting his hand on his belt.
“Go ahead, Whiskey. Eggsy has implanted the tracker, you’re both free to roam” she said, he whipped back around, seeing you waiting for him, he removed his sunglasses, tucking them into his jacket pocket.
“What was that?” you asked as he stalked back up to you, following you into the tent again, Jack heard another zipper as he made his way inside.
“I was just checkin-” he was interrupted by you crashing your lips against his, Jack instantly repaid the favour, kissing you with just as much fever. You wrapped your arms around his neck, Jack’s larger hands moved to the small of your back to pull you closer as you slid your tongue over his. You moaned when you felt the cool metal of his belt buckle dig into your stomach, one of Jack’s hands moved down to cup your ass, earning another moan from you.
You moved your hands down, to slip into his heavy jacket, pushing it off his shoulders, before he was shaking it off, throwing it behind him carelessly, he wanted his hands back on you as quickly as possible so didn’t have time to worry about where his jacket landed.  You were so soft, he wanted to feel every inch of you, taste every piece of you he would give to you, Jack groaned when he was shoved backwards, falling onto a plush bed behind him, he landed on his back, he sat up to see you instantly seating yourself in his lap.
Your lips ran up his strong neck, teeth grazing across his jaw, and Jack let out a very shameful groan at your light touches. He was getting hard just from this, your hands shoved up his white tee, instantly running over his strong abdomen, Jack’s hands were back on you as your assaulted his neck and collarbones, he reached up to your top, delighted to find it was a tie only which he undid smoothly. You reached up, untying the bow around your neck, throwing the top to the side.
Jack groaned at the sight of your breasts, his plush lips coming to connecting with one of your sensitive nipples, your fingers dug into his shoulders as he moved one hand to play with your other nipple, your moaned at the feeling, your hips involuntarily grinding down against his crotch. You could feel his length beneath you but it was far too concealed in those tight bloody jeans and that stupidly big belt buckle, so you started to leave hot kisses down his neck, across the fabric of his t-shirt, shoving it further up his body as you kissed down his stomach. Jack groaned softly as you kissed his bare tan skin.
You started to fumble with the belt buckle, trying to keep the mood up by leaving kisses across his stomach, but you couldn’t get the damn thing off. You huffed, looking up at Jack, who was smirking at you.
“Figure it out if you want it, darlin” he said, tipping his hat at you as if to tell you to carry on. You felt a hot rush of heat run down to your core, those words shouldn’t have been as hot as his southern accent made them sound. You noticed the logon on the small hip flask as you finally figured the damned thing out, but didn’t have time to think about that now as you undid his belt so quick you thought you could have ripped through it. You were unbuttoning his jeans quickly, Jack sat up further for a second to pull off his boots, relaxing back on his elbows once he did, you were now able to pull his jeans off him completely, once they were off, you settled back between his open legs leaving open mouthed kisses over his thighs.
Jack groaned above you, “Don’t tease me sugar, can’t you see how hard I am for you already?” he lifted his hips for you as to show you exactly what he was talking about.
“Oh but, it’s. So. Fun.” you puntucated every word with a little nip up his thighs, closer to where he wanted you but not close enough. That was when a hand came down to your jaw, grabbing you forcefully, you gasped, your eyes shot up to meet Jack’s, they were so much darker than they were earlier.
“I said, do not tease me. Now be a good girl and suck my cock” he said, pushing his underwear down, you whined, you knew in that moment you were definitely not going to be in control here. Not that you minded in the slightest. Jack let go of your jaw to hold his length in front of you, you ran your tongue up the underside of it before wrapping your lips around the tip, Jack groaned, dropping his head back at the feeling of your warm mouth around his length.
You swirled your tongue around him a few times before slowly working your way down his length, Jack’s hand moved away to grip into the sheets below him as you worked your way down, your hand now coming round to stroke what you couldn’t fit into your mouth. You didn’t hold back the noises, you were slurping this man down like he was the most delicious milkshake you’d ever drank and you wanted him to know it. Jack was moaning above you, his hips began to move with your mouth. You looked up at him for a second and fuck you could of cum from that sight alone, his strong features were highlighted by the flush in his skin, his neck looked positively delicious and you wanted to drag your teeth over the taught skin.
Right now though, you had a part of him in your mouth that you couldn’t get enough of, so you turned your attention back to his heavy length between your lips. Jack then brought his head back up and the eye-contact was so intense that you whined around him, his hand came down on the back of your head, encouraging you to take more of his length into your mouth.
“That’s it… good girl” he moaned, a breathy ‘fuck’ coming after as you made your way to the bease of his cock, Jack’s hand held you there for as long as you could manage. You felt tears starting to roll down your cheeks slowly as you pulled back off, gasping, you quickly started stroking his length as you ran your tongue over him before taking him back down your throat.
“Fuck! You take it so well, sugar, look at you” Jack’s hips thrusted causing you to gag on him, pulling off again, he had you gasping for air. You could feel your arousal pooling at your stomach, you shuffled your thighs closer together, desperately seeking some sort of friction.
“Jack.. please” you whined, still stroking his length. He knew exactly what you needed, he pulled you back up his body by your wrist, flipping you both over, so you were laid flat on your back against the bed. Jack was quickly working at your shorts you were wearing, tugging them down along with the underwear you had on. He tugged off your boots so he could get you fully strung out on the bed for him, he reached down to pull his own shirt off, knocking off his Stetson in the process. It fell onto the floor behind him somewhere, but before you could say anything, this man had his hands on the back of your thighs, spreading you open for him.
You threw your head back into the cushions as he licked a long stripe up your folds, Jack wasted no time in latching around your clit, moving his tongue in quick circles around the bud, sucking every now and again. He was watching you the entire time, loving the way your back arched off the bed, your hands gripping onto the sheets and your lips parted as you moaned for him over and over again.
Jack dropped his hand from your right thigh, he ran his fingers through your folds before slowly sinking his ring and middle finger into your waiting hole. When he curled his fingers up into that spot, your hand flew straight down to grab onto his hat but you didn’t find it.
“Jack… Jack fuck, please, please..” you were moaning, he kept his fingers curling inside you at a stead pace, only pulling away from your clit slightly to ask.
“What is it, gorgeous? Tell me what you need”
“Please put your hat back on” you whined, bucking your hips into his fingers. The growl Whiskey let out was feral and he was reaching behind him, without removing his fingers from your sopping entrance, grabbing his hat, putting it firmly on his head before diving straight back into your aching cunt. Your hand instantly flew to the highest point, his hat was soft, like suede, it weirdly made this whole situation even hotter than it already was.
You started moving your hips in time with Jack’s movements as you felt yourself get closer and closer to the edge, you were gripping his hat as you moaned for him, using it as leverage to ride his face, when he curled his fingers a couple more times, it threw you over the edge.
“Jack! I’m cumming oh, fuck!” You cried out, your grip on his hat holding him exactly where he was, he moaned against you as you rode his face through your orgasm. He worked you through every last second of your high, before slowly kissing his way back up over your thighs, stomach and between your breasts, all whilst his fingers still slowly curled inside you.
“God, you ever tasted how sweet you are, pretty girl?” he asked, kissing across your collarbone. He curled his fingers harder when you didn’t answer.
“No- fuck” you gasped at the overstimulation.
“Be a good girl, and clean me up then” he groaned, pulling his fingers out of your heat, instantly shoving them where he was a few minutes ago. You gladly welcomed them, sucking them clean as quick as you could, you moaned at the taste of yourself on his skin. “That’s it sugar, you ready for this?” he asked, rolling his hips down to yours, you groaned when you felt his cock slip through your folds.
Jack removed his fingers from your mouth, to quickly ask if you were clean and on protection, when you nodded, he grabbed you by your neck pulling you on top of him as moved to sit on the bed. He lifted you up, holding his cock steady before he slammed you down onto his length, your hands shot onto his shoulders, you both gasped at the quick intrusion. “Ride me, pretty girl, ride your cowboy” he said, gritting his teeth. His hands were on your ass, groping you and spreading your cheeks, encouraging you to move.
You instantly started rolling your hips down, grinding against his length, Whiskey let out a low groan. You started to pick up the pace, when you started bouncing on his lap, he lurched forward biting at your neck, whispering praises to you, you felt the rim of his hat bump against you, giving you an idea. You reached up, plucking the hat right off his head, giving it a new home on yours. Jack’s eyes flickered up when he felt his hat being taken away about to protest but he groaned low in his throat when you shoved him back so he was flat against the bed. He took in the view above him, you grinding on his cock, one arm raised above your head, holding onto his Stenson, the other braced on his thigh behind you. It put you on full display for him and you fucking loved it.
“Fuck, look at you sugar, so fucking beautiful” he groaned, you were moaning for him, as his cock rubbed against your spot over and over. He fit so perfectly inside you, his cock hitting everywhere it needed to, causing waves of pleasure to wash over your body, you knew you could cum like this, you just needed a little more. You sucked your fingers back into your mouth again, keeping a hand on his hat, you reached down, rubbing your clit in precise circles. Jack’s hands were on your hips, helping you rock back and forth on him, pulling and pushing you a little faster as he saw you touch yourself.
“God, fucking hell darlin! You gonna come on your cowboy huh?” he snarled, something inside him was set alight watching you take your pleasure from him like this.
“Yes, fuck you’re gonna me me cum again, cowboy” you moaned, rocking against him incesnstnalty.
“Cum pretty girl, wanna feel your wet cunt cum around my cock” Jack said, one hand moving to give your ass a firm slap. That was all you needed to be thrown  into your second climax, your head thrown back, make-up smudged from earlier on, you were flushed, and you were crying out for the man below you as you rode him through your high. It was so intense that you felt as if it wracked your entire body, your thighs were starting to shake as you came down from your high. Jack was bucking up against you, the hand on your clit coming to land on his chest to steady yourself as you came back to him.
You were still slowly rocking against him when you leaned down onto your forearms, to pressing your lips to his once again, this time it was messy and sloppy, but you were so drunk on this man's cock all you cared about was having his lips against yours.
“Where do you wanna cum?” you asked Jack, kissing down his jaw, your words were slurred but not from the alcohol you had consumed but from the two orgasms that hit you like a train.
“Ugh, I wanna come on your tits, gorgeous girl” he said lowly, you hummed at him, kissing across his chest again. You gave him a couple of soft bounces of your hips before sliding off his cock, you moaned at the loss of contact but you were quickly back down on your knees, taking everything Jack had to give back into your mouth. You were eagerly bobbing your head, stroking what you couldn’t manage.
Jack was up on his elbows again, needing to watch you as you took his cock between your lips once more, he let out a loud groan at the sight, you had on his hat, sucking on his cock like your life depended on it, he thought why he hadn’t had someone suck him off with his hat on before because this was on par with being just as hot as you on top of him.
“Fuck, you’re gonna make me cum” he said it barely came out before you pulled off him, sitting further up on your kneels so he could spill over your chest. Jack moaned your name lowly as he emptied himself across your chest and hand, you moaned at the feeling of his cum hitting your skin. You stroked him until you were sure he had given you every last drop. You caught his dark brown eyes as you reached your hand up to your mouth, slowly licking it clean and moaning at the salty taste of him.
“Goddamn it darlin, you’re gonna kill me” he laughed as he laid back on the bed, trying to catch his breath. You giggled, crawling back up the bed, removing his hat and putting it on his chest, you flopped down on your back next to him. Jack turned his head to you, your eyes were closed as your chest rapidly rising and falling, he couldn’t help himself when he rolled onto his side, putting his hat on the nightstand next to you, he pressing a couple of soft and sweet kisses to your lips. You hummed in appreciation against his lips, Jack pressed a kiss to your forehead before slowly slipping off the bed, he found a towel, dampened it in the bathroom before coming back to you. You were still laid bare, with your eyes closed, your arm stretched above your head, he leant down, wiping the warm towel across your chest, leaving small kisses in his wake.
Jack pressed another gentle kiss to your forehead, before running his fingers over your hair.
“I have to go, gorgeous” he whispered, your eyes opened to look at him. You sat up a little, reaching forward to gently touch his cheek, you pressed your lips to his once more, before nodding. You didn’t want him to go so soon, but this was only a one night stand, so you didn’t really expect anything less.
Jack slowly got dressed again, taking his time, he helped you put on some loose sleep clothes as well, he even got a bottle of water out of the mini fridge for you, pulled the bed covers back for you and pulled them back over to make sure you were tucked in. He hadn’t put his belt back on yet and he went to buckle it back up, he slid the mini flask off. He left his belt open, walking over to you, he put the small flask in your hand, holding his hand in his other.
“If you ever wanna do this again, call this number and ask for Whiskey, okay beautiful?” he said. You ran your thumb over the embossed writing on the front. Jack put his hat back on, giving you one final kiss goodbye. As he was walking towards the exit of your tipi, you called him back.
“Wait!” you said, shooting up in bed. Jack turned on his heel to look at you “What’s your last name?”
“Daniels” he said, hooking his thumb into his belt.
“You’re fucking with me”
“Already done that darlin” his eyebrow quirked and his lips curled into a smirk “fraid not,  Jack, Agent Whiskey, Daniels at your service” he tipped his hat towards you. “Anytime you want” he said, flashing his perfect teeth at you. You looked down at the belt buckle in your hands, you realised right there, that there was a lot more to this man than you knew.
“Thanks for having me sweetheart, you were a real treasure. Hope to hear from you soon” Jack drawled as he turned back round to the tent exit.
“Wait, agent?” you called after him.
“Told you I was a real cowboy!” He called back, walking backwards out of the door. “Night sugar, sweet dreams!”
You sat back in the bed, looking at the inscribings on the mini flask. Statesmen distillery. You’d have to google that when you got reception again.

vent post incoming because I am not sure if I'm having a proportional reaction to this or not and throwing it out into the void might help...
So. For context.
My mum's side of the family is very Organised. Particularly my aunt, who is queen of the Itinerary, but this also comes from primarily my grandad (in his 80s but pretty fucking healthy & ex-navy). I love them to bits, they're the Most Sane extended family I have (father's side has all sorts of weird interfamilial politics going on (which I shan't get into but jfc) and my stepdad's family is very nice but also Very Religious.
Bearing this in mind, they have this tradition of these big family holidays around special occasions - these have been the only family holidays I've ever been on barring boating with just my father and grandma when I was a kid - and they are always like. A big affair. Domestic, not abroad, but it's always Rent A Big House in an Area for a Time and then have extremely itinerised activities and have lots of Family Fun (usually whilst me and my mum quietly seethe about it because my aunt has Money and we have historically been very poor, so it's always been more of a burden for us but we just have to suck it up and deal.)
Anyway, this was Tolerable when I was a kid or a teenager and, ya know, in school and living at home.
I am now a 26 year old adult with a Real Job that has a fucked up rota of unsociable hours, that I often don't get until weeks before I'm due to start shifts, and runs year-to-year on the academic year calendar August to August. I also live several hundred miles away from my family.
Last year, there was a Big Family Holiday planned months in advance that I told them from the outset I was unlikely to be able to attend, because the date of it fell on my rotational week from one speciality to another, on a completely different site, and I would either not be able to take leave during that week due to mandatory induction or simply not *want* to due to learning how a new job works. So I didn't go.
My grandad evidently missed me being there (and is feeling his age a bit) so wanted to do another Big Family Holiday this year. Which I was asked about via a message from my mum. Initial planned date was september time 2023 which I said, yo that's way too far ahead for me to even know if I'll have a training post or even know where in the damn country I'll be working - this year I'm taking a year out of training to work ad-hoc shifts and have a break from the Relentlessness of Covid Pandemic Medicine, so like, before August would be good! Because I'm choosing my own hours!
Okay, mum said, are there any dates that are a solid no for you right now?
Ah, I said. Not during the week of Glastonbury Festival. Because we're trying to get tickets this year as it might be my only chance to definitely go and it's my partner's favourite place in the whole world.
This was. All the input I had. In the planning of this family holiday.
I received confirmation a bit later (this was in september 2022) to say that IT'S BEEN BOOKED! Family Holiday is GO!
For EIGHT ENTIRE DAYS in early July, like literally five days after Glasto is done.
Okay, I say, pissed off that I didn't get any input in how fucking long this holiday was, or, crucially, where it was. I got sent a link to a holiday house that I had a skim through but didn't think more about it other than, fuck me, a bit rude not to include me in literally any other part of the planning.
Skip ahead to now - May 2023 - I have secured a training post in a nearby city starting in August, which is excellent news, but still means I have to move house.
So I sit down with my partner as we try and run logistics on getting packing materials and looking at leadtimes on renting, and looking at quotes on storage units and the like.
I get my calendar up and check dates and when things are going to be best planned.
And I realise I have this fucking 8 day chunk of July blacked out for this family holiday that I absolutely have to attend this year because my grandparents are getting old and it might be The Last Big Family Gathering before something happens to their health, right. And I missed the one last year, so I gotta be at this one, otherwise shame on me.
This 8 day chunk of July that's right smack bang in between Glasto and When We Need to Be Moving House.
And then I double check where the fuck in the country this holiday is supposed to be, again.
*Dartmouth*. It's in. Fucking Dartmouth. Which if you are unaware of the British Isles Geography is right in the southwest corner of the fucking country. And is approximately a 5.5 hour no stops drive away from where I live.
Readers, if you've gotten this far I need to tell you something. I don't yet have a driving licence. I'm in the process of doing lessons and have my test booked for the 20th June. Which is the day before we leave for glasto, right. So even if I pass my test first time (I might not, pass-rates are about 50% here), the only chance I will have to practice driving on motorways etc will be on the 4.5 hour drive to glasto, and then possibly on the way back.
Partner can and does drive, right, but probably can't come to Big Family Holiday because he'll either still be in work that week OR will be sorting the moving house stuff out in my absence.
So if I pass my driving test, I might have to do a 5.5hour solo drive cross country completely alone on big fucking motorways less than two weeks after passing my test. Not fucking ideal.
Alternatively, I could take the train. which costs (with a railcard) nearly £120 for a return and takes approximately EIGHT HOURS each way.
Other options would be to travel even earlier (still also via train, as it's also a 5 hour drive to where they live) to my parents and accompany them on the 4.5 hour drive from where they live to Holiday Destination, because my family decided to choose a place to go on holiday that is pretty much an equal distance from both of our locations but NOT IN A HELPFUL WAY. We'll still all have to travel the same fucking amount to the far corner of the damn cross country triangle between us.
Third option is to beg my friend who lives near glastonbury to let me stay with her or in her parent's house for the inbetween five days and then travel the 2 hours to Holiday Destination from there, but this isn't ideal because 1) I'd need to pack clothes for three weeks, 2) we only have one vehicle so how would partner get home, and 3) due to moving house I do actually need to be back at home in that inbetween time.
Anyway. I'm pissed off. Because I'm an adult with a job and none of the planning for this family holiday other than *avoid this one specific week* was done with any kind of consideration toward me. It feels like I'm still being treated as a child that can just Drop Everything and Attend an event I'm not even particularly thrilled to be going on (for eight entire fucking days) and if I don't or can't go I'm in the wrong.

I was just considering that earlier in the summer max said he’d never been to a concert before and then yesterday he was side stage for kygo with lando and I just. wow. he’s gaining life experiences!! now that he’s not confined to a race car year round lmao
Omg I was literally JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS AND FEELING EMOTIONAL HOW DID YOU KNOW. You don't even know how often I think about Max saying he's never been to a concert or a music festival like his world is so interesting and unique and incredible but it's also SO small sometimes. I like the idea of Max making his world a little bigger bit by bit. It's not just race cars! Max at Glasto WHEN! Max tracking in the mud and complaining the entire time but having so much fun WHEN! This is why Max + a normie boyfriend headcanon is so important.

This is probably gonna sound naïve, but would it really be such a bad thing if Harry and Louis were in the same place together? Like Niall came to Harry's show and both Louis and Niall were at the festival. They could do the same thing with them. Obviously without any of this ridiculous build up like yesterday. With someone faking a rumor about Harry being the guest for Billie and BBC even saying she was gonna have a surprise guest. Then with Louis being so visibly there everyone was thinking it would happen. I had fun clowning but my expectations were low they'd be in the same place together. But why not just let it happen. Just randomly like with Louis liking Zayns post. He could like Harry's. Like all casual just two band mates interacting. I know we'd freak out but we'd move on and everyone else would forget about it. Like the fact they hadn't interacted publicly in so long is just making it a bigger deal than it has to be.
Hi, dear. Like I said yesterday, the only situation I see this happening is if is something very casual and random - like glasto would be. I totally understand where you're coming from, but given their history, I honestly think they try to avoid that. If it happens by accident, it happens, I agree that it shouldn't be a big deal. But IMO they actively try to avoid (and will keep trying to avoid) being in the same place and even interacting altogether. Right now, it may seem like ~larry rumours~ are harmless but it really isn't if they're not planning to come out. The two of them together would cause a massive reaction and bring larry and all the "theories" and "rumours" back to the spotlight. 1DHQ put a lot of effort into shutting down these rumours, they put fans against each other, they made it sound like it was something absurd and disrespectful, and they created all kinds of narratives to make it sound like they were enemies and to distance them from each other. And that's something that extended to their solo careers as well. We have holivia and we have elounor, none of these stunts are very believable even for people who don't consider larry real... so.
So to sum things up, I think messing with that would be too risky and absolutely not worth it. Not to mention that I don't think H&L themselves have any interest to go back to having to pretend to be something they're not around each other, I don't think we will see them together or (actually) interacting until they're out.

as promised, heres my review of the generation sex show at the dog day afternoon festival: very good and very fun!! interesting to hear someone who isnt johnny sing pistols songs but i think billy did a great job. ppl went utterly insane for all of the pistols songs they played and sang along very loudly to them. ppl were pogoing for their lives. they played pretty vacant, bodies, god save the queen, black leather, silly thing, and my way as well as some generation x songs like dancing with myself, your generation, and kiss me deadly. they started with pretty vacant and ended with my way. ppl cheered a lot for steve and chanted his name! it was a lot of fun!! there was a malcolm jumpscare on the big screen behind them for some reason
sounds amazing!! god i wish i went - generation sex were also at glasto but i think the bbc only uploaded their rendition of god save the queen. ironic asf. but a big thumbs down for the malcolm jump scare, does not sound fun lol but i’m so happy they played black leather, underrated banger. them playing my way is a little interesting, i’d have loved to see billy’s take on it. anyhow he looks so fucking cool these days, he’s not changed one bit and i love people like that, who just keep rocking their own way and live life how they want to. love how people still appreciate steve! honestly i think people are so focused on sid & john that we forget about how genius he actually is. cheers for your review!! i’m glad it went down so well and you had fun!!

“ Change has to come from Louis, and I don’t see indications that it’s happening.” This should have been the dead giveaway that *submission* had an agenda. I mean how dare Louis enjoy a few days at a festival when he has been working his ass off on a World Tour. The OG blogger has been accused many times of being a plant since she gave a review of HS1 before it dropped. She acts like a Community Manager so why all of suddenly seed the idea Louis is in charge and he needs to make changes?
Been off of tumblr all day, have family over for the holidays so really not in the mood to dampen my very high spirits. But I couldn’t let this one slide without mentioning a few things;
- I rb that post too, because I agree with a few things pointed out in that submission. Not the part about Louis taking a few days off to enjoy Glasto - I have zero issues with that as I very well stated multiple times at the time. However the fact that Chris was there with him enjoying himself during that vacation when he had an actual job to do (which he gets paid to do) is not something that any of us should be okay with. It’s amazing that Louis has such a friendly relationship with his management team, but there’s such a thing as separating business and pleasure. If his management/team is not even doing the bare minimum it’ll obviously irk people seeing them living it up instead of doing what they’re hired to do.
- as for all the other insane stuff in your ask - bestie come back to me once you’re solely responsible for having turned as many people into solo louies as said OG blogger you seem to have an issue with. You’re sounding like a crazy conspiracy theorist my friend. Please take a deep breath, and go out and lie down on some grass so that your entire body is touching it. Make some grass angels if you have to. That post was literally a submission from someone else, and we can clearly see why that poor individual chose to go anonymous for it, considering the unhinged kill the messenger behaviour being displayed since yesterday.
- some of you all need to understand that being a part of one fandom doesn’t mean you have to agree with every single thing everyone else says. It’s always a good thing to have healthy debate, to voice your opinions and read through others’ opinions with a clear head even if you don’t agree with them, and then have the ability to disagree in a mature and calm manner. Fandom is supposed to be fun. If it’s causing you to have a literal mental breakdown I would highly recommend you take some time off.

Thank you!!! My exact thoughts. Unless you're Alexa and can glamp it up festivals aren't that fun // I also feel like bigger acts don’t care about it either. Look at Beyoncé being on tour and not performing there or Taylor Swift apparently dropping out this year (hence this year’s all male headliners controversy) and was rumored to be headlining next year but she announced next year’s dates and not gonna be there. Why Glasto when you can have 4 Wembley sold out shows
Bigger acts only care about Glastonbury when they have new material coming out and want to test drive it there maybe to promote.
Not playing festivals as much also has a very practical reason. Bands don't get to soundcheck and Alex being out for the last four days means they also couldn't rehearse anywhere in London. If they have planned something special we can only hope they rehearsed that during the last break.

17-20; Van McCann, Tom Hardy, and Sam Fender 😁
Thanks lovely 💗 I love all these!
17. binge watch an entire season of a show in a day with, go to a karaoke bar with, go to a yoga class with
I think I’d binge watch a show with Sam, we’d just camp out on the sofa under snuggly blankets with loads of snacks, sounds great! I can’t take any of the boys that sing to the karaoke bar as they’d show me and my awful voice up so I’ll go karaoke with Tom! For some reason the idea of going to a yoga class with Van is actually hilarious!!! Can you imagine him???
18. go to a drive in move with, go mini golfing with, play monopoly with
Drive in movie with Van (he can take me for our first date ha ha) Mini golf again? I’ll take Sam and maybe we’ll bump into Bondy on the golf course! I guess it’ll have to be monopoly with Tom - would certainly make a boring game a lot more interesting!
19. go to a music festival with (whatever festival you want, can be a small chill one), ask to help you move, have a standing brunch gossip session with
I really want to go to Glasto, deffo taking Van, think he’d be loads of fun at a festival, we’d just get silly drunk and I’d be up on his shoulders to see all the bands. Sam is helping me move as I can see him being so lovely and helpful with something like this. Standing brunch gossip session? That doesn’t appeal at all - but I’m sure having Tom to go with would help!
20. go sailing with, go on a road trip with, go backpacking with
Sailing with Tom so I can see him in his swimmers when we more up at the beach 👀 Road trip with Van - we can hire out a camper van and we can retrace all the places he went with his mum and dad when he was little ❤️ Back packing with Sam - I think Sam would just be amazing company you’d have so many laughs and adventures!

Time for more Harry questions! (if you don't mind of course ♥️) 1. Describe your first thoughts/feelings when you saw Harry's met gala look 2. Is there a festival you would like to see Harry perform at? Pick 2 other artists you would want in the line up. 3. Pick 2 of your favorite Harry songs and list a color and feeling you associate with them. 4. Which interviews/performances would you use to introduce someone to harry as an artist?
of course bub! your questions give me something to do lol
first thoughts abt the met gala look was mixed, mainly bc the excitement for me personally because it was a departure from what we’d seen on tour & I was just excited to see where he would evolve from the new era (and what harry L said about it made me even more excited) but I knew some people weren’t going to like it/say it wasn’t camp because they expected something more grandiose (like billy porter’s look that year) & people just automatically assumed that camp = excess flamboyance which isn’t the case (and a whole thing abt lgbtq culture/representation nowadays being focused on being loud & monetisable with shows like drag race becoming so popular but that’s a whole different thing)
I would love for him to do glasto at some point, I think he’d smash it and it would be an amazing opportunity for him. for selfish reasons if I was able to go I’d want kacey and taylor in the lineup lol
it’s not necessarily one of my favourite songs of harry’s but carolina has such a strong association with orange/yellow/sunshine to me, it’s crazy. such a vibe of just driving down the coast and feeling good, the same thing with golden but in a slightly different way. adore you is really bright sky blue for me, it’s just so groovy and fun and one of harry’s best songs.
ooooh this is a good question, I’d say for someone who knows of harry but isn’t that invested, the first Rolling Stone interview he did with Cameron Crowe is an all time fave, I don’t know if he’ll ever top that for me. It’s just beautifully written and I think it’s the interview that turned me from a fan to the diehard stan I am now lol. It’s so good and just gives a really good insight into the person harry is and what he’s about imo. I love that interview so much. The Another Man spread is phenomenal too but I think i’d wait to share that until they’ve been reeled in a little more. I’d say the Zane Lowe and Howard Stern interviews are good places to start too, and as for performances, probably Girl Crush at the BBC, Falling at the Brits, Two Ghosts Acoustic at the LLS, Kiwi at the LLS and the X Factor UK and Juice at BBC Live Lounge.

From @bluegirlluniverse, thank you!!!
4. You have the chance to go back in time to see ONE of The Killers' shows, live and in person. What do you choose?
God...you know, I've got to go with Wembley. It just so clearly meant the world to the band - even Ronnie is on record saying it made him nervous to play there, and he's always cool as a cucumber! We even got a Mark smile on camera - another thing that never happens!
And for Brandon to be moved enough by the opportunity to play there that he literally wrote and performed Wembley its own special song...that's real love. That song just exudes love and appreciation for the fans who supported them, who got them to that point...who allowed them to fulfill their dreams. It's so beautiful.
youtube
5. Which era is your favorite Brandon, and why?
Hands down, 2017-2019. He has visibly grown so much with every passing year since 2004, but with WW he truly started to blossom, imo. He has so much confidence now, he's really come into himself and it's so beautiful.
I mean...Land of the Free, for example. HF Brandon would have never dreamed of writing such a powerful song like that, of creating a video like that, or of performing the most impactful line of the song a capella on national television, completely alone. HF Brandon would have crumbled into a tiny pile of glittery from mortification at the very idea.
The privilege of watching Brandon turn from shy little singer into this magnificent, glorious, confident frontman we see today...that has truly been the greatest gift in my life. It is so fun to trace his transformation via videos, and to know that the masterful frontman he is today wasn't ready-made. Brandon Flowers is the product of a hell of a lot of hard work and dedication and faith in himself, and he is truly living his best life right now.
9. Is there a particular song that means the most to you personally?
Picking the hard ones, I see. At this moment...Rut and Life to Come. Perhaps picking two is cheating, but...well, they're my questions, after all! 😅 And in my head and in my heart, these two cannot be separated.
Together, they just express such a gorgeous sentiment, such a beautiful idea and are the very embodiment of the concept behind the creation of Wonderful Wonderful, which is my favorite Killers album by a landslide.
It is just so inexpressibly beautiful, what Brandon has done with these songs. To begin by putting himself in his wife's shoes, trying to understand and empathize with the mental illness that she finds shameful...and then to absolutely smash all of her doubts in the very next song, in this companion that is filled with so much love that his voice is literally shaking and bursting at the seams...it is nothing short of wonderful.
It is so incredibly beautiful and so touching for me personally, because I come from a family with a history of suicide and mental illness who trivializes and dismisses any sort of mental problems as products of "weakness." So to hear Brandon smash all of that in such a heartfelt, sincere, emotional, wonderful way...it hits so hard.
12. What's the last song that made you cry?
Be Still. It is magical.
19. In your opinion, what is the band's greatest achievement so far?
1,000,000% Glastonbury 2019.
The band has gathered a lot of naysayers in the last few years - nasty, bitter, petty people who say bullshit like "It's not The Killers without Mark and Dave," and Glasto was unquestionably the greatest live performance they have ever done for me. After touring with this lineup for two solid years, they gave Ted and Jake the chance that they deserved to shine at Glastonbury.
They proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they can headline the greatest, most iconic festival in the world and draw a massive crowd who sings every word along with Brandon. They proved that they do not need to lean on "the original four" to be great. That is so incredible, such a massive accomplishment.
Ask me a question!

The frontman was in Scotland in 2014 to shoot the indie flick Gold Help The Girl, which went on to earn him critical acclaim at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals.
But Olly’s soaring acting career was threatening to overtake the band’s limited success at the time when Mikey pleaded with him to stick with music instead.
And they’re all grateful that the 28-year-old Yorkshireman stayed put because their next track King shot to No1 just a few months later in March 2015.
Bassist Mikey — who will take to the Main Stage with Years & Years at the TRNSMT festival today — says: “We almost lost Olly. I actually went to visit him in Glasgow when he was making that film.
“I remember him being really worried and saying to me that if his acting career took off too much, then he might not be able to do music.
“I remember him telling me that right there in Glasgow and I was like, ‘Oh, please don’t leave.’ It was really touch-and-go for us. But we’re here now.”
The synth three-piece, which also features keyboard player and guitarist Emre Turkmen, formed in London in 2010 when Olly was invited to become lead singer after Mikey heard him singing in the shower.
But their big break wouldn’t come until five years later when King topped the charts and earned them a nomination for the Critics’ Choice Award at the 2015 BRIT Awards.
And the No1 bizarrely also brings back good memories of Scotland. Mikey explains: “The first time we played in Scotland was at King Tut’s in Glasgow in 2015. I remember it well because we got a call backstage to tell us King had just gone to No1.
“There was something poetic about King going to No1 when we were in King Tut’s.”
The group followed it up with their hit single Shine, taken from their chart-topping album Communion.
They have now grown into a genuine headlining act, taking to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury last month before Kylie Minogue’s sensational set.
But Olly was the one who grabbed the headlines with a passionate LGBTQ speech to the crowd, while his image was also used at Times Square to promote Pride month.
And Mikey insists he’s quite happy for the spotlight to be on the charismatic frontman.
He jokes: “I still like being able to go to Tesco to buy loo roll.
“But his profile is not only great for the band but also all the stuff he does for the LGBTQ community as well.
“He has a platform and he uses it well to help others. His speech at Glastonbury was great. I knew he was going to do something, and I saw him practising backstage, but I didn’t want to interrupt him and ask exactly what he was going to say. I decided to give him some space.
“But then when he said it, it was a really beautiful moment. It allowed us to just take in that here we were on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and doing good a thing. Then right after us David Attenborough came on. I tried to hang around the little corridor to meet him but I think he must have had a secret entrance.
“Either that or he can teleport — as far as I’m concerned, David Attenborough can do anything.”
The musician from Melbourne also rubbed shoulders with his fellow Aussies Kylie and Nick Cave, who performed a duet.
He says: “Kylie was on after us at Glasto and I did see her backstage.
“Her set was amazing. We take inspiration from everyone. So I will see Kylie then I’ll see a metal band and I’ll be inspired by both.”
And Mikey has a Glasto memory that the fans thankfully did not get to see.
He says: “One of my highlights is when I went to the toilet — I was standing at the urinal next to Nick Cave. He’s from Melbourne just like me, but I didn’t want to have this conversation at that time.
“There has to be some urinal etiquette. There are rules and I didn’t want to break them.”
Now the trio are ready to take centre stage all over again on the opening day of TRNSMT at Glasgow Green, sharing the bill with other Glasto stars including Stormzy.
Single Mikey says: “I enjoy festivals because it’s the summer so you get a bit of sun.
“And a lot of the same bands do the circuit, so we see each other and hang out backstage and have a latte or something stronger occasionally.
“Our ‘festie friends’ are Wolf Alice, who we see a lot, and Clean Bandit. We went on tour with them early on, so we’ve got some history.
“But we’re also pretty good just in each other’s company. We’re a good group, we’ve never really had any dramas. We get on well.
“It’s like being in a little circus as you take your bus to a new land, set up in a field and see new faces. And then do it again and you’re in a new place. We all feel incredibly blessed.”
And Mikey promises: “People coming to TRNSMT can expect the same Glasto vibe. It’s going to be fun.”

Getting to Know...
Ferris & Sylvester.
Critically acclaimed duo Ferris & Sylvester recently released the video for their new single ‘Flying Visit’. Filmed in stark black and white, the video captures the pair performing to an empty village hall, interjected with moments of stillness, isolation and loneliness. View it below.
The release came ahead of Ferris & Sylvester’s debut appearance at Glastonbury Festival last month, where they played a number of shows across the weekend. After a killer debut at SXSW and a standout Maida Vale session this year, BBC Introducing invited the duo to play their stage at Glastonbury. Watch a performance from that set below.
The band also recently announced their largest headline tour yet, where they will play bigger venues across more towns and cities than their sold out debut tour back in February. The 20-date UK & Ireland tour runs throughout September and October with the full dates listed HERE.
We were lucky enough to have a quick chat with the rising duo about 'Flying Visit', their first Glasto experience, what they have planned next and more. Read the Q&A below.
Things are very exciting for Ferris & Sylvester right now! Please tell us about your journey so far.
"We met just over three years ago in a blues venue called Spiritual Bar in North London. We were both doing our own thing back then, but soon started writing together and it didn’t take long for us both to just focus on the duo set up. We’ve played a lot of shows! Over the past couple of years we’ve played over 100 each year. We set up our own label called Archtop Records and released an EP called Made In Streatham last year, which we recorded and produced in our kitchen. That EP has taken us on an incredible journey. We’re now working towards our first album and are setting out on our second headline tour round the UK in the autumn. So far, it’s been the most rewarding, weird and wonderful ride."
You recently released your new video for your latest single 'Flying Visit'. What was the inspiration behind the track and the visuals?
"We wrote ‘Flying Visit’ from a child’s perspective. We liked the idea of writing something straightforward and unashamed, as children are when it comes to love. There are no social politics or armour to carry around when you’re young which means you just say how you feel without being embarrassed, whether that’s simply ‘I love you’ or ‘don’t leave me’. The real message we wanted to get across is, it is ok to love people. When It came to the video, we wanted to keep it really simple and let the song speak for itself; so we decided to do something performance based. Simple and straightforward, in a run-down village hall. We teamed up with director, Sam Parish-Rookes once again for this one and as always with Sam, the process from the storyboard to the final edit has been a total journey and loads of fun. We are so proud to have made a piece like this."
You also played Glastonbury last month. What was that like? What did you love most about the festival?
"We did Glastonbury!! It was the first time for both of us and that made it really special. Doing 5 sets over the weekend was exhausting and meant we were wheeling our gear around in a wagon most of the time, having people recognise us as we sweated up the hills! But each show was worth it. A huge highlight was playing the BBC Introducing Stage. It was such an honour and the crowd was amazing. There’s always so much going on at Glastonbury and we were terrified no one would show up to watch. But people came and sang along with us, which was the best feeling. It really is like no other festival - the site is huge and there’s always something to do or amazing bands to watch. The energy of the place was on another level. All in all, a magical Glastonbury."
You have more festival appearances coming up and also your biggest headlining UK tour later this year. What is your favourite thing about touring and being on stage and performing live?
"It might sound like we’re lying but we genuinely look forward to every show we play. Being on stage and touring is the best bit for us, it’s where we feel most alive. The best part is playing our songs every night and having a totally different experience with each crowd. Each show or festival is different and that’s what makes it so exciting and addictive. We cannot wait to meet the people who have supported our music and decided to come down to a show - there really is nothing more rewarding. Likewise, it’s a real thrill to play to a festival crowd that may not know who you are. The game changes and we’ve got to win them over. It’s a great feeling to watch an empty field fill up…"
Apart from the upcoming shows, what else is next for you guys? Any new music?
"We’re writing the album. It’s been our priority this year, whether that’s locking ourselves away for a week and writing constantly, or writing on the road in-between soundchecks and in hotel rooms. There’s a lot of new music to be excited about and we can’t wait to lay it down. We’re taking it one day at a time, but we’re getting closer to getting it out in the world. New music is coming soon..."

Glastonbury FOMO Support Group
As we all know, Glasto tickets are notoriously hard to secure and become more so every year. For those not lucky enough to have their place so far, do not despair - there is a resale in April! However, we’re here to help you make this summer one to remember even if you’re not attending Glastonbury ‘19.
Just a few days ago we were graced with another line up announcement, featuring the likes of The Streets, George Ezra, Sam Fender, and many more favourites. Of course this is especially exciting for those of us attending, but everyone else need not worry - you don’t have to miss out;
Tumblr media
Featuring several of the same acts (including The Streets, Ms Lauryn Hill), Boomtown Fair is a great alternative to Glastonbury. Boomtown is renowned for it’s famous wacky decor and themed set-up in a similar way to Glasto. If you enjoy the thrill of secret DJ sets, and bars hidden under the guise of ‘Job Centre’ or ‘Grandma’s Living Room’ you will certainly not be disappointed.
Tumblr media
On a slightly different wavelength, a great alternative to a crazy weekend at Glastonbury is Barn on the Farm festival. If you were hoping to catch Sam Fender at Glasto but couldn’t get tickets, you don’t need to fret; he’s headlining main stage BOTF 2019 and chances are you’ll get a much better view of the performance too. Although BOTF can’t offer you the huge capacity of Glastonbury it is certainly no less wacky, colourful and atmospheric. Check out our review of last year if you’re still unsure.
Tumblr media
Now, if you fancy something slightly bigger, maybe Isle of Wight 2019 is for you. Featuring another one of Glasto ‘19′s big names (George Ezra) and the same bright festival energy alongside community atmosphere but get this... on an island (that’s right, your lads holidays to Malaga are now a thing of the past)! Isle of Wight fest is a fun-filled weekend where party-goers seem to take over the entire isle for four days of dancing and music, and promises an equally awesome festival experience.
