Sweet, Spicy or Savory: I say I'm all three, but I think I have a sweet tooth than most. I love my sweets/sugar. However, it depends because I'm also a spicy girl (chicken, steak, pastas etc seasoning wise lol)

Last Thing I Googled: Prob something cc related again couldn't tell ya 😪

Current Obsession: Stories that may never see the light of day lol When I tell my brain never takes a break. I mean that. Thats why it's hard for me to finish the projects I have now. Everything gives me a new idea for the vault that may or may not happen 😞🤷🏾‍♀️

Looking Forward To: Getting my sh*t together frfr. Jokes aside, on some real real, I just wish I was at a point in my life where I could be truly happy. I am a dreamer. And the day I accomplish something life changing would be my BIG one

1. What would your dream home/room/closet look like?

I would love to have a reading/small craft room! Somewhere to enjoy a coffee or tea, where my friends and I could just sit an do our own things or whatever.

As for actual closets, I think a walk in at this point is appropriate, or at least a separate room where I could display pieces on a rack and enough room for a dress form mannequin.

My current living situation is pretty small, so anywhere where I could add a few more book shelves and the option to display my wardrobe daily would be ideal.

2. Are there any defunct or currently retired brands that you wish were still around?

Hmm mostly a lot of indie accessory brands, but probably Putumayo. I always enjoy seeing punk lolita and a lot of the older coords I've enjoyed have Putumayo pieces

14. What’s your cold drink of choice?

I've been enjoying lightly flavored sparkling water and cold brewed green tea recently!

19. Is there anything about your lolita style/journey that surprised you?

I think the amount of kindness I've come across has pleasantly surprised me, especially in the comms I'm a part of! :) I've been in other hobby communities before where there's a sense of elitism and just generally unkind/rude behavior to the point where there are certain hobbies I only take part in solo or with a small group of friends. I think, too, because of when I was looking up information I found really old threads and videos detailing some not nice interactions, I was really worried about how I would be perceived and treated while entering the fashion.

Really happy that everyone I have come across for the most part has been really open and supportive! Lolita fashion has also introduced me to many people who I would consider good friends, it's really been a positive change to my life <3

i had a thought of "do people not know what AUs are anymore?" and then i remembered nobody explains fandom stuff to new people anymore so it is entirely plausible people genuinely don't know what AUs are and nobody has explained it to them, so for today's lucky 10,000:

"AU" stands for "Alternate Universe" or "Alternative Universe" (same difference) and is basically any thought scenario for a fandom that isn't canon and can't fit within the canon universe. If it takes place in the canon universe but something is notably different, that is typically what's known as a "Canon divergent AU," because it diverges from canon.

an AU can be absolutely anything. There's a couple of widespread pan-fandom au scenarios that often get thrown around, like coffee shop aus, genderbend aus, hanahaki aus (hanahaki is a whole thing in itself i'd recommend researching on your own), etc. One you might hear sometimes is "crossover AU" which is when you have characters from one fandom interacting with characters from another.

You can have as many aus as you want. They can be whatever you want and you can do whatever you want in them. It's a sandbox for you to play around in and explore how things would be different or how the characters would act in those circumstances or environments. Maybe they have different relationships with each other. Maybe they behave slightly differently. Or you can just say "Okay, [x] is true. How did they get here? How would things have to be different for this to occur?" which can also be fun.

If you are ever confused about why people ship something that seems completely out of the blue or doesn't make sense to you in the canon setting, there's a good chance they like it in an AU setting! Not everything everybody is interacting with is necessarily the canon! Not everybody wants things to exist in canon and just want to explore playing dolls in a different sandbox and that's okay. And their sandbox might look a lot different than yours, and that's also okay. You have the freedom to make your sandbox whatever you please. Do whatever you want forever. Get funky with it. AUs are fun.
