I am so proud of Monsta X. They won the Global Artist Award at the Melon Music Awards. I am so glad they are being rewarded bc they are so talented. Their successful tour this year proved that they are indeed Global artists.

They performed Love and Rush Hour. I liked that they switched up with a Jazz version of Love.

My babies are so great. I would have been upset if they didn't win anything.

IVE also got two awards (I think). Good to see the Starship family winning. I loved listening to Love Dive, Eleven, and After Like this year. They also deserved it.

Monsta X MMA Global Artist!

Monsta X has been slowly but steadily climbing since their debut in 2015. Despite having their choreography and concepts stolen by big agencies, despite injuries, despite being targeted by a particular company, they remain resilient.

In the 2022 charting period alone they have put out 2 chart topping Korean albums, a charting English album, charted regularly on BB 200, Worldwide, Melon, and iTunes, had a movie that aired in over 50 countries, sold out North America tour, sold out Asia tour, stole the stage at Kpopflex, collaborated with Sam Feldt, were the hosts of Midnight Idol, Idol Radio, Inssa Oppa, and VogueShipShow, and had more international brand deals than Monbebes could keep up with.

Shownu is almost finished with his enlistment and will return to us in April.

Minhyuk became the face of NFL fashion (among so many other brands). He also started back up on his second season of VogueShipShow.

Kihyun released 2 chart topping solo albums between the 3 group comebacks.

Hyungwon wrote/arranged/produced songs for other groups as well as for Gatorade. (besides writing for the group)

Jooheon (besides being his usual genius producer self) has been cast in a Netflix movie.

Changkyun joined Sony for his solo songs, did a collab with Heize, an also wrote/arranged/produced title song NVRMND for SoulBySel.

I'm missing things here, but that's just a few things they accomplished in 2022.

So congratulations to Monsta X for receiving the MMA Global Artist Award. Definitely deserved!

hey guys! so, evidently i've been gone for a while. it was kind of a bad time for me to start this account. a bunch of shit happened and everything sucked and it made me get art block 💔 oops. but now what's going on is too important to just sit there and have art block about. i'm using my, albiet small, platform to spread the palestinian cause during this global strike week called on by bisan. the palestinian sunbird is a symbol of freedom for the palestinian people. it flies across borders and checkpoints in defiance of israeli occupation. i hope that someday soon the palestinian people can be as free as their national bird ❤️🖤🤍💚

As soon as I learned about the Palestinian sunbird this week, which became Palestine's national bird in 2015 after Israel failed to rename it, I knew I had to paint one. What a beautiful bird to symbolise Palestinian hope.

The Arabian Leopard is a leopard subspecies native to the Arabian Peninsula, but also found in small groups in the Levant, such as in Jordan and Palestine. It is critically endangered, and hasn't been seen in occupied Palestine since the 2010s.

For this year's Global Game Jam, I decided "Hey why don't I solo dev an entire visual novel in Renpy with absolutely 0 prior knowledge in coding?"

And so I did! Presenting A Pound of Flesh (part 1), a short vn where you play as Agatha, a girl who begins working at a quaint butcher shop.

It's around 20 mins play time, and if there's interest I'll most likely add on more sections as well! Right now you can only play up to the end of week 1 because I only had 36-ish hours to code and draw the entire thing. Let me know what you guys think if you play it!
