Yes, I've heard them all! Oh god, that's a hard question. I love so many of them.

Design & song-wise, Coagula is hard to beat though. We love a funny GNC puppet. (HIGHLY encourage checking out their music video) Shout out to Freddy Turbina, Lino y Lana, and Joe Pino, too. I am cursing Hermanos Computadores de Paine for Mister Guantecillo though, that shit was stuck in my head for like THREE WEEKS. I love it, though.

This is not a call-out post, and I would just like to preface that I cannot force anyone to change their art style or personal perception of what the 31 Minutos characters would look like as humans. I believe that all art is worthy of existing and that art talent cannot be "wasted," no matter how I or another person feels towards it.

But, OH MY GOD, I am BEGGING 31 Minutos artists who humanize the characters to remember that Tulio, Juan Carlos, and Juanin (as well as several other characters) are not young by any means. The three men are all generally in the same age range, and if we consider that Tulio is old enough to have a niece who is a young adult, that would mean the three of them are all most likely in their FORTIES or, more likely, FIFTIES. These men are not the young, smooth, and petite guys so many of you draw them as. They are men who are growing old, becoming grey, and have wrinkles.

As mentioned, I cannot make people change their designs or stop them from imagining the characters however they may, but it's really frustrating to see so many human designs of the 31 Minutos characters and the ones who are clearly older than the rest lack any signs of aging. People aging is not bad, older people existing is not bad, your faves being on the older side is not bad. Please, even just adding some wrinkles would make all these character designs/gijinkas more pleasing to look at. Deaging the three of them is such a big problem in this fandom and I'm not going to pretend it doesn't exist anymore, it's becoming annoying.

Update god bless the water is no longer off but I still cannot shower and my body's getting extremely itchy and some parts are literally red from being scratched so much augh. Guess I'll wash my feet and hands also in the sink, yeah yeah gross but it's the only thing I can do so SHUSH. Whatever, I didn't find the instant noodles so I settled on microwaving some breakfast rolls.

You mentioned in the tags that you had your own "what do you most associate with Chile" poll in the drafts. I'm curious now, how much did the options you came up with differ from the ones that countriesgame had? (Feel free to ignore this if you'd rather not share lol)

Most of the more international options (31 Minutos, Pedro Pascal, long asf country) were the same but the other poll focused more on geography and mine focused more on culture lol. It makes sense since a non-latin american is probably not going to know all of the cultural differences.

The other options were "earthquakes" (self-explanatory), "mote con huesillo" (a typical chilean food), "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SPEAK CLEARLY" (the only people who understand what chileans are saying are other chileans), "palta" (a pronunciation of avocado that central americans make fun of us for sometimes), and "some animal like a pudu or a penguin" (Chile has high endemism. Also pudus are cute.)

All in spanish to appeal to the target audience.

I was gonna post it if I came up with more stuff but oh well, the other poll's pretty good too.

The best part of anime: seiyūs and why I love them

When we watch anime, we generally fall in love with a character, either because of its design or its personality, but I think the voice behind the character is another reason to love them (also, this is the reason why I prefer anime besides manga). As we well know, seiyūs are the people responsible for giving life to the character through the voice, but they also dub videogames and non-Japanese media, like western programs.

What most catches my attention from seiyūs is their versatility in the characters that they can play, for example, we all know Yūki Kaji, aka the voice of Eren Jäeger (Shingeki no Kyojin), Todoroki Shoto (Boku no Hīrō Academia), Meliodas’s (Nanatzu no Taizai) and other shōnen characters, but did you know that he also does the voice of some idols too? You can see him singing as Mao Isara in “Ensemble Stars!”. 

Most of the seiyūs have a great singing voice (at least the ones I know), and it is not unusual to see them singing character songs (if the anime has them) or debuting as singers. Also, there are artists from different areas like theater, dramas and music become seiyūs, for example Ayasa is a famous violinist who debuts as seiyū with “Bang Dream!” franchise, in which she voices Yashio Rui, who is a violinist too.

I already mentioned  the versatility of seiyūs, but let me tell you about some seiyūs that I admire:

Sōma Saitō 

He is not very well known, but he has a recognizable voice and what I like about him is how he’s able to represent very varied characters, for example in “Ensemble Stars!” he voices Hinata and Yuta Aoi, two lively twins, but he can also voice other kind of characters, like Yumeno Gentaro from “Hypnosis Mic” (the anime is delayed but we can hear him from de audio dramas), a novelist who always tells lies. Other thing that I love of Sōma Saitō is his musical career, he has an incredible voice and he has interpreted a lot of idol characters, he also has debuted as singer. A curious fact about him is that he voiced the first Mafuyu in Given’s CD drama when it was only a manga, which included a version of “Fuyu no hanashi” (later, he wasn’t in the anime adaption and they made a different version of the song).

Kenjirō Tsuda

I really love his voice, for me he’s like a Japanese equivalent to Fernando Solís Lara, aka the voice of Señor Manguera from “31 Minutos”. He has a very unique deep voice, perfect to represent villains or mysterious characters. Some of his most recent characters are Lero Ro from “Tower of God”, the Giraffe from “Revue Starlight”, Joker from “Fire Force” and Overhaul from “Boku no Hīrō Academia), but he has voiced many other characters over time. Suzuko Mimori

  For me, Suzuko Mimori is the Bushiroad queen, because she has voiced different characters from the 3 big franchises of Bushiroad, these characters are Umi Sonoda from “Love Live!”, Yuri Ushigome from “Bang Dream!”  and Hikari Kagura from “Revue Starlight”. She also has voiced Pipimi in episode 10 of “Pop Team Epic”, Hiyoko Saionji from “Super Danganronpa 2”, and dubbed Pinkie Pie from “My Little Pony”. She has a large vocal range, allowing her to voice very different characters, even her singing vocal range is variated. 

Seiyūs’ work can be quite ignored, especially by the occasional otaku (or the “otakus” who only saw Naruto on Netflix), that’s why we have to support them even more. What they do is very important and wonderful to be put aside.

“C’mon Richard, I think you’ve had enough for now.” You giggled, shaking your head at his tipsy antics as you tried to wrestle the beer bottle from his hands. He pouted and smacked your hands away from the Presidente, the glass still cold from when it had been in the ice chest outside.

“Apenas es la….” He held out his free hand, putting one finger up, then another as he tilted his head and squinted his eyes. “¿Tercera?”

While he was distracted, you grabbed the bottle from his hand, laughing at the scoff he let out. The sound quickly turned into a chuckle as his lips turned up at the ends, his tan cheeks harboring a pink tinge to them.

“Well, that’s not including all the rum and vodka you were chugging twenty minutes ago,” you argued, nose scrunching in playful disgust. God only knows what other alcohol people had mixed into the concoctions being passed around the house.

“I can’t believe you couldn’t even wait until dinner was done,” you teased, putting the beer bottle on the coffee table in front of you. The entire backyard and house were filled with family and friends of the Camacho’s, laughter and loud music sounding across the property. The smell of barbeque and the humid mist in the air wafted around, leaving a glisten against your skin and a hunger gnawing at your stomach for the delicious home-cooked food being prepared.

Richard just shrugged, pulling you closer to his side. The denim of his jacket was rough against your cheek as you nuzzled into his chest, the scent of his cologne and the tanginess of his breath infiltrating your nose.

His large hand swiftly moved from your shoulder to your side, before it reached your waist, where he squeezed lightly. You put your hand over his to keep it in place, feeling him smirk against the top of your head.

“Watch the hands, your family is around,” you reminded him, tapping the back of his palm. You knew the alcohol running through his system was to blame for his increased touchiness, but you didn’t want to face the teasing from Yashua or any of Richard’s other relatives if they saw the two of you cuddling up on the patio sofa outside.

Luckily, Richard seemed to heed your warning, his touches not advancing as he stayed still. If you didn’t know any better, you could’ve assumed he dozed off, but the consistent tapping of his foot against the cement to the beat of the music playing informed you he was still very much coherent.

That much was proven when, as a popular, festive song pounded through the speakers, Richard cheered along with the other partiers to the heavy beat and familiar lyrics. He stumbled over the words a couple times, but it was obvious no one cared, as almost all of the guests slurred over some of the verses.

As louder and more well-known songs blasted from the speakers, Richard squeezed your hand and leaned down to whisper in your ear. “¿Podemos ir al coche?”

You tilted your head to look up at him, raising an eyebrow. “Dinner is almost ready, though.”

He sighed, and you thought he would drop the question, but only a few seconds later he was lifting you off his side and standing up from the bench. He grabbed your hand again and started to pull you up, grinning like a dork.

“Richard,” you hissed, playfully slapping his wrist. “Can’t you at least wait until we’re done eating?”

“¡Sólo tardaremos unos minutos, te lo juro!”

You knew there was no fighting it, and frankly, you weren’t one to turn down a few moments alone with your boyfriend. You grumbled some form of agreement, any frustration in your voice contradicted by the half smile spreading across your face.

Richard was quick to lead you to back exit of the house, and you rolled your eyes when he snatched the half-empty beer bottle from the table in a last-second decision. You could feel the eyes and stifled laughs from Richard’s family, especially the gossiping aunts and grandmas, directed at you as you two snuck around the side of the house.

The colorful lights and decorations hung up around led you both to your car, lighting and directing a path off the driveway. The music was only barely muffled as you leaned against the hood of the car, and you knew the DJ inside had the volume blasting as loudly as possible.

Richard kept close to your side, one hand around your waist and the other leading the beer bottle to his lips as he nursed the rest of the alcohol.

“¿Te estás divertiendo, baby?” he asked, lowering the glass from his mouth.

“Of course, I am.” You looked at him and grinned. “You know I love spending time with you and your family.”

He hummed and bumped your side playfully. You kept your eyes locked on him, warmth spreading through your chest at his happy expression. Once he caught your gaze, you returned the look, your lips turning up the ends. He watched the movement carefully, slowly leaning down as he pulled you closer.

“A mi me alegra el poder escaparnos de ellos unos momentos.” He chuckled, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth. Once he let it go, and the skin turned redder than before, you finally tilted your head to press your lips against his, and the smirk against your mouth informed you that he had been just seconds away from initiating the touch himself.

The spice and bitterness of the Presidente still lingered in his mouth, a hint of hops and sweet corn dancing around on your tastebuds as your tongue brushed over his. His grip on you tightened as he pulled you closer, rough fingers digging into your waist. The light scruff around his lips rubbed against your skin as his mouth moved against yours.

Unfortunately, for you two, your long-awaited moment alone was soon cut off as the calls and cheers for dinner started, the sound of people gathering audible even from the front of the house.

“We have to go back in,” you murmured, pulling away from Richard. His grasp on you didn’t budge, so you could only pull a few inches away. “Everyone is going to be looking for you.”

He grumbled and attempted to lean in for a kiss again, but you were quick to slip from his grip, plucking the beer bottle from his hand as you did.

“¿Y por qué me haces esto?” he whined as you downed the rest of the liquid, the faint aroma of honey and citrus coating your tongue and throat.

You grinned at him over the lip of the bottle. “You know I love you,” you teased.

He could only nod, intertwining his fingers with yours when you grabbed his hand and started pulling him back to the house.

“Now can we please get some food? I’m starving!”

The verb to stream refers to the process of delivering or obtaining media in this manner.[clarification needed] Streaming refers to the delivery method of the medium, rather than the medium itself. Distinguishing delivery method from the media distributed applies specifically to telecommunications networks, as most of the delivery systems are either inherently streaming (e.g. radio, television, streaming apps) or inherently non-streaming (e.g. books, video cassettes, audio CDs). There are challenges with streaming content on the Internet. For example, users whose Internet connection lacks sufficient bandwidth may experience stops, lags, or slow buffering of the content. And users lacking compatible hardware or software systems may be unable to stream certain content. Live streaming is the delivery of Internet content in real-time much as live television broadcasts content over the airwaves via a television signal. Live internet streaming requires a form of source media (e.g. a video camera, an audio interface, screen capture software), an encoder to digitize the content, a media publisher, and a content delivery network to distribute and deliver the content. Live streaming does not need to be recorded at the origination point, although it frequently is. Streaming is an alternative to file downloading, a process in which the end-user obtains the entire file for the content before watching or listening to it. Through streaming, an end-user can use their media player to start playing digital video or digital audio content before the entire file has been transmitted. The term “streaming media” can apply to media other than video and audio, such as live closed captioning, ticker tape, and real-time text, which are all considered “streaming text”.
