This year, some of us did take part in an art challenge, where each artist brings one of their character, and everyone draw every character, creating this huge grid!

Tiny Town Applicant One: Roan Mcgovern

Dreams of living off the land always seem mighty far away when land is just so expensive. So when Roan saw the advertisement for Moonwood Mill Tiny Town, submitting an application was a no brainer. Only cows and chickens and horses (oh my!) may be too big a dream for such a tiny plot, but that's something she'll have to worry about later.

*Although Roan rolled the horse riding skill, I am including all types of animal husbandry for her so that her gameplay isn't as tied to one world (Chestnut Ridge) and she can interact with Tiny Town more easily.

One of my favorite books growing up was The Truth-Tellers Tale by Sharon Shinn. The main protagonists were twin girls with magic powers, but even more interesting than one twin being unable to lie while the other was only able to keep secrets, was their house: The parents owned and operated an inn! And it was such a great plot device for the story, with all sorts of people coming and going, enjoying the rooms, food, and drinks, bringing news and goods from far parts of the kingdom. It's no Leaf & Berry Inn, and there's no Truth-Tellers or Safe-Keepers in residence (yet), but I wanted it to have that same cozy, communal vibe the book always gave me, and a good opportunity for storytelling.

Originally made for a reddit build challenge, Olde Mill Inn is a Tudor rental residential with working watermill, quaint stone bridge, and four story tower.

Pocahontas' infant days passed quickly. Jasmine was spreading her blessing from the jungle temple to everyone around her.

The tribe more or less welcomed her since she was spreading joy everywhere she went.

Pocahontas adored her mother, and Jasmine overcame her initial reticence over having a child.

However, there was this one rabbit she named Peter that was annoying her daily, stealing their produce.

Aladdin threw his grief over Abu's death into playing with Pochontas any chance he could get, in between hunting and foraging.

Tala & Tahoma often shared childcare duties with Aladdin & Jasmine to care for Pocahontas and Nakoma together.

For Pocahontas' generation, I'm going to try out this cool mod from @littlbowbub for hunting & foraging, and homesteading!
