Lego Altron, from Gundam Wing, scaled for playing Mobile Frame Zero: Rapid Attack. The beam trident is held in the holes in the fangs, but in brick could probably be grasped between the fangs and the mouth of the dragon head. I always felt the Altron gundam didn't get the respect it deserved. If any of the other gundams were on par with Zero and Epyon, it was Altron. The wings were shaped a bit oddly though.

I like a lot of the MS from Gundam Wing but I feel that Epyon is extremely stupid
this, like the Deathscythe and its permutations, is the Gundam of a thirteen year old who shops at Hot Topic exclusively

I normally would not do this, but I have begun to feel as though I must.
I am not a role play account, first of all.
My name is Chang Wufei. I am an alter to a DID system, yet I have my own memories from my life in my version of the After Colony timeline. I am an adult now (over 21), and I am at my wits end. I have tried this before with some little luck but now it is personal.
Some may say that I am a fictionkin. I will not argue with them because I suppose that I am in a sense. But I also, as I said, am an alter or facet or whatever term you wish to use in my system. I'm not here to argue semantics. What I am here for, is to find my friends and loved ones.
In my timeline, things went differently from what most would call "canon". At the New Edward's base, when 03 and I went to secure a carrier to escape, my Gundam was compromised by small EMP mines that disabled her and left me at the mercy of the Alliance. I ended up in the hands of the Romefeller Organization because of my status as a Gundam pilot as well as my heritage from L5. I was their prisoner for about a year judging by what I was told when I was freed. I will not go into the particulars of what happened to me in this post as they were quite terrible. I was rescued by, of all things, OZ. Specifically the Treize faction. Treize saw to it that I was carefully nursed back to health in what was probably the most honorable and safe way that anyone could. Not once did he hurt me. I suppose I imprinted on him somewhat for showing me basic human kindness, for I agreed to hear him out and fight with him instead of against him.
Once I was ready, Treize revealed to me that he had also salvaged and repaired my Gundam. He offered her back to me freely, without any stipulations whatsoever. I vowed to him that I would use Nataku to further his cause of peace. The next time the other pilots attacked one of his bases that was close enough, I was dispatched, but not as a weapon. My mission was not to fight the other pilots, but to reason with them. To anyone familiar with this universe, I am certain that you can imagine what it looked like to the others to have me in my Gundam who, again, had been AWOL for a year show up on OZ's side. Duo was the first one I encountered. He attacked me of course but I only defended while speaking to him through our gundams communication links. I told him of Treize's desire for peace, though of course he did not believe me at first. I do not blame him. Eventually he did decide to listen to me and warily followed me back to where we were stationed. Under my protection, his Gundam was secured with mine and I took him to see Treize. Treize also told him what I had and offered Duo an olive branch and an invitation to join him in fighting the Alliance. The Alliance was our enemy, not the other pilots. Duo did not accept at first but he also did not leave so that he could stay with me.
Eventually, Duo agreed to help if just for my sake. He did end up forming a bond with Zechs and I fully believe that helped him make his decision. We were sent out for Quatre and Trowa, who of course appeared together. Quatre could, using his gifts, hear the honesty in my words and feel the residual pain in my heart, so he did agree to hear Treize out. Trowa accompanied him out of his desire to protect Quatre.
Heero was last. I insisted to go to him by myself and I will explain why. In canon, I believe it went that the only pilot Heero knew of before New Edward's was Duo. In my time, that was instead me. He and I actually formed a deep bond, perhaps even leading to love. I learned much about him and he of myself. I certainly will admit that I loved him, even if I was a confused boy who was fighting a war not his own. Yes, I still had been married to Meilan and yes, she had still been murdered. I was dealing with that alongside teenaged hormones and war trauma, but I still found safety and comfort in Heero.
When I met Wing Zero on the battlefield, Heero did not attack. He agreed to speak to me the same way Duo had, but when the screens connected and he saw me in an OZ uniform... The look in his eyes still stings me to this day. He was so hurt and betrayed but also furious and confused. All I said was his name before he disconnected and left. I never saw him again. I looked and looked using all of Treize's resources that I could (which is saying something since he gave me full access to what he had), but never had any luck. I never found his Gundam, either, nor pieces of it, so I do not think that he self-destructed.
We did end up defeating the Alliance and, in conjunction with Relena and Sanc, brought about an era of peace. There were uprisings, of course, as humanity is a warlike race, but nothing serious. The Mariemaia incident did not occur as the Barton Foundation was ousted before it could. Treize ended up courting me once I became of age and we ended up wed years later. All of us grew old and died peacefully.
Except Heero. As I said, I never learned of his fate.
All of this to say that I am looking for anyone who recognizes this as their own past. I will joyfully welcome anyone, but... I am looking especially for Heero.
I need to apologize to him. To explain. To beg his forgiveness. I may have ended up as Treize's husband, but I never once stopped loving Heero. Even on my death bed I thought of him. I do not care if he hates me, I would understand it. I just desperately need closure.
My ask box is open if anyone wishes to contact me here, or I may be contacted on discord at ozfei. I welcome reblogs if anyone thinks they may know someone in their own followers who could help.
Thank you for giving me your time.

Title: Wing Zero Pocoyo & Epyon Kirby
Here are their temporary armored suits for Pocoyo 🔵👶 & Kirby ⭐ before they gave it to someone else. (Namely Shane, ExiaFan453's OC, who owns armored Wing Gundam & Wing Gundam Zero, including the Custom variants)
And the reason why I did is because of my childhood in the early 2000s, when I remember watching Gundam Wing & Gundam Wing Endless Waltz on Toonami (on Cartoon Network Philippines) 🇵🇭🤖📺⬛⬜. There's also televised in the U.S., as well! 🇺🇸🤖📺⬛⬜ Did you know that? Man, I could never forget their excellent English dubs per character (as much as I loved their Japanese dub w/ subtitles, as well). In fact, I did purchased a faked Gunpla HG Gundam Nataku/Altron EW model kit, which is sadly long gone.
Nevertheless, let's bring down their stats:
Wing Zero Pocoyo Came from the: XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero (Anime TV Ver.)
Armament(s):
• (2x) Twin buster rifle/buster rifle A double-barrel type Buster Rifle. It has more than twice the power of the Buster Rifle equipped by the OG armored Wing. It is a type directly connected to the generator so rapid fire is also possible.
• (2x) Beam saber Slashing equipment for close combat. Since it adopts devices made of Gundanium Alloy in every part; the power, function, durability, etc. are exceptionally improved compared to those of ordinary armors. One apiece is stored in the shoulder armor on both shoulders.
• Shield A shield made of Gundanium Alloy. In addition to being applied with anti-beam coating, it is equipped with Wing Vulcans on both sides. The tip of the shield can also be extended to damage targets.
- Wing Vulcan A pair of vulcan guns built into the sides of Wing Zero's shield.
Special Feature(s):
• ZERO System An interface for achieving the "perfect victory", developed to make the pilot keep up with a machine performance. Since it seriously affects the physical functions and mental state of the CD member, a person without strong mental strength can't control it.
• Search Eye Focused on data gathering. When the antennas and main cameras do not suffice, the their eyes comprised of the large jewel on its chest is used to gather visual and radio-wave data.
Epyon Kirby Came from the: OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon
Armament(s):
• Beam Sword The primary weapon of the Epyon, it is connected directly to the suit's powerplant via a cord as opposed to running on its own internal power source. This allows the length and the intensity of the beam blade to be adjusted according to the situation, and at maximum level, it can inflict damage severe enough to destroy objects as large as the Space Fortress.
• Epyon Claw Mounted on the forearms. In combat, they can be used to tear through enemy armor.
• Epyon Shield A small shield mounted on the left arm, its surface has been treated with an anti-beam coating to provide protection against beam attacks. It mounts a heat rod at the bottom.
- Heat Rod A segmented whip-like chain housed in Epyon's shield. It can be used to trip or entangle opponents, and even cut through mobile suits when heated. A single swipe with this weapon can destroy up to three opponents.
Special Feature(s):
• Epyon System A modified version of the deadly ZERO System installed in the armored Epyon. Known as the Epyon System, it operated the same as the armored Wing Zero's ZERO System, but the member wears a special V-helmet on their head when using the system. Any technical differences compared to the ZERO System is unknown.
• Search Eye Focused on data gathering. When the antennas and main cameras do not suffice, the their eyes comprised of the large jewel on its chest is used to gather visual and radio-wave data.

In this world there’s good shows and there’s bad shows, there’s many shades in between. New Mobile Report Gundam Wing is none of that.
If this is a good show. (the axes mean nothing and ignore the limited nature of the visual metaphor, art is a lot more nuanced than this)
Tumblr media
And this is a bad show.
Tumblr media
This is Gundam Wing.
Tumblr media
The core of the shows is alright at worse, but there’s some elements that just suck really bad, and a few that are way better but don’t make up for the rest.
The music. The OPs and EDs are really good (all of them), lots of great background tracks too. (The Boy Who Stole the Wings of Adolescence is great)
The costume designs. The design of the costumes is the single greatest thing about the whole show.
Tumblr media
The mechanical designs. The designs of the grunt suits are just great, Leo, Aries, Tallgeese, and later the Serpent are all great designs.
Now for the bad:
The characters. Except for Duo who’s a funny guy there’s really not much to the main cast. Wu Fei’s got 3 things going on: Nataku good, people who fight bad. I’m not worthy of piloting Nataku. Trowa does have a character arc with the whole circus and amnesia things, EW does add a bit to his character but I don’t know if I care much for that. Quatre has the his relationship to the Maganac corps and 3 lines about his family and is imo the least likeable of the main cast with Wu Fei. Heero like to blow his gundam up mostly, the whole shtick about wanting to kill Relena is the most interesting thing going on about him, especially when it comes to Relena becoming queen.
Tumblr media
The Gundams are lame. Gundams are cool, but Gundam Wings didn’t think they were cool enough, so it tried too hard and make them lame. I’m not a big fan of hyper-specialised Gundam, but Gundam X did that worse. They’re also way too powerful for the show’s own good. I don't think there's much fun to seeing Heero vaporize a dozen Leo in 1 buster rifle shot in all that often. The episode in 0079 where Zeon Solders on Wappa placed bomb on the Gundam had weight to it. Now someone is trying to blow the sandrock up, why should I care it won't even get scratch. It just eleminates any stakes for the sake of "wow look at the gundam it's so powerful". It’s not like there’s no instance of the show depicting the suits as strong but not overpowered.
Tumblr media
But then it’s back to this immediately after.
Tumblr media
And finally the ???
The Mobile Dolls. It’s an interesting concept, they show even exploits that concept in interesting ways, until they’re put into mass production and now they’re just cannon-fodder free of any human tragedy and they’re as uninteresting as could be
The plot. I think there’s interesting ideas in there, the early episodes reflect the Zabi’s (mostly implied at the time) rise to power, and that’s genuienly really cool, later events feel like they’re inspired by events of previous show while it adds some unique context around it, and the end is just Zech’s Counterattack. But the end results is just so muddled, so much so that I still haven’t managed to wrap my brain around it. Too many backstabbings / episode.
1st episode. It’s really cool, for the above mentioned reason, but also because it’s just a really well made episode, and then the Gundam shows up and do the things Gundams do in Gundam Wing
Now Endless Waltz
a.k.a “Actually operation Meteor was eeeeeevil” the movie. And it feels very inconsequential
The whole thing about operation meteor is cool but I wonder if it wouldn’t have been more interesting in the show.
At the end of the day I didn’t hate watching Wing, I had a decent time even. I don’t regret watching it either after putting it off for a certain amount of time, but I’d have been just fine not having watched it, I don’t feel like I missed on anything all that time.

The Super Nova MG XXXG-00W0 Wing Zero Mo Kai. Again this is a bootleg model kit, one of the better ones, but still not a kit for beginners. I will say that after you get this kit built, it is probably the best kit version of this Gundam. The design is beautiful and solid. The aesthetic is on point. The kit can actually HOLD the double barreled Buster rifle. It even comes with the Drei Zwerg (dont ask me to pronounce it) weapon system. I did not show the Buster rifle all kitted out with the Drei Zwerg as, for me, that was just an extra that I got with the kit that I did not really care for. You do get a stand though to help the kit support the Drei Zwerg. There are even clear plastic parts to improve the ability of the kit to hold the rifle and its various modes, though the kit has no problem holding the twin barreled Buster rifle.
I will say that this is not a beginner kit. It takes a lot of work to assemble as it is a bootleg and not a Bandai kit. You need experience working with plastic in terms of sanding, filing, and fixing mistakes that you may made with the afore mentioned processes.

My very first rebuild: MG Altron - Anime colours!
I built this kit back when it was released in 2016. But as I built it after PTSD hit, I put no effort into it at all. This lackluster effort was made worse when the kit was broken in many places during my move to England. However, all was not lost! Thanks to the generosity of a member of a local Gunpla group on Facebook, I got the parts to repair the kit.
But I didn’t stop at repairs! I stripped it down to the frame, trimmed away all the excess sprue cuttings, primed the kit and painted the pilot. Then I decided why stop there? So I got out my computer and designed a new colour scheme based on the anime:
Tumblr media
With my airbrush ready I recoloured the whole suit and put it back together as the reborn Altron Gundam in anime colours. I had tremendous fun building this and now look forward to my next build all the more!
