Today is number 363! I wanted to do a big send off for Gundam drawings for this year! Since I’ve been doing the daily drawings for almost a year. I had an idea to draw this big collage of a bunch of mobile suits, But I got caught up doing stuff outside away from the house and my main drawing book. So I had to settle for this personal book I keep in my bag for such a situation.

And the best part about this is that I managed to get both of them done on time on Trowa’s birthday and it makes everything super special for him as I really love him a lot from the show!!!! Again, GOD, they look so good and awesome, I can’t wait to make more of the Gundam Pilots & their Gundams as glass paintings soon!!!! Super exciting!!!! if you have a lot of time and a lot of sanity to burn, do what i did, and read every single available english interview about Witch from Mercury. It's *fascinating.* It's like a DIY detective version of the Frozen 2 documentary. They're all so deeply revealing about every single failing in the creative process of this show's planning. They started with the title first and worked backwards. The Schwarzette was designed to parallel Aerial, and yet never fights it. Elan 4 appears so often and contributes so little because they literally were rewriting the script on the fly to add more scenes with him because they liked writing him. They never figured out where the water goes.

Finished my rewatch of Gundam Wing and wanted to draw Heero

The standout Suletta moment to me in all of GWitch is still that scene where she interrupts Nika’s apology because she’s digging through the rubble looking for survivors in the aftermath of the school getting blown to hell. When everything goes wrong, when the school she always dreamed of attending becomes a battlefield because of political maneuvering that started way before she was born, her first instinct isn’t to curse the people behind it, or climb into a gundam to seek revenge.

It’s to save lives. As many as she can. Suletta will always choose to help others first, and that’s what makes her the true hero of the story.
