Prompt 223
Clockwork is Chronos and Kronos. He is time, sometimes split into many aspects but one all the same. Normally it’s not an issue, as at the end of any of the aspects they simply return to him, as the main body. It’s almost like a hivemind, though not quite that either. Honestly he’s not been able to explain it to anyone else, as it’s such an entwined thing with his being.
Once again, normally there is no issue with it. However, instincts can bleed over, which apparently er, happened at some point. He’ll have to apologize to his aspect’s children for the misunderstanding when he gets the chance.
He might have forgotten while dealing with other things, meaning he never explained it to that timeline’s children. Oh well, he’s sure nothing will come from it- he’s quite busy caring for his little ghostling who is turning out to be just like him, albeit with Space instead of Time, after all…

Performapal Classikuriboh
Kuriboh has graduated music school and become a conductor! And what a handsome little conductor he is. Just look at that fancy, embroidered jacket! The fluffy collar really sells the look for me, and then of course there's his cute little bowtie and buttons!! Idk how those buttons are staying on, but they help complete the look (plus, look how shiny they are!). I also really like how the starry, green background compliments the green of Kuriboh's hands and eyes. A very fun and bright choice of background.
Rating: 10/10, One Classy Kuriboh

I have a gripe with the pop litcrit crowd for how they're trying to reframe Frankenstein's monster as some sort of model-beautiful guy because Frankenstein gathered the prettiest of parts.
Frankenstein himself being an unreliable narrator doesn't change the reality that the narrative never challenges the notion that monster is, in fact, an abomination. And, personally, I don't find it interesting to twist the text to fit a new very literal reading. What do we gain from a reading where the monster was practically a twilight vampire? What impact would it have? What new discussions would be spurred?
I believe a far more compelling read than "he was actually beautiful but you all read it wrong" would be to read the monster as visibly scarred/disfigured, which would be more in line with how he's treated and give way to more productive discussions about the perception of "the other" in fiction.
I think examining what we, both then and now, consider to be monstrous, abominable, incompatible with civilised society etc etc is far more productive than making a new sanitised reading of the text that's no better than the pop culture one
