“We’ve officially broken the world record for time spent engaged and not married,” you announce, walking into the living room of your flat in a hoodie and loose pajamas. 

Charles looks up from where he’d been reviewing something—finances for the team, if you recall correctly—and adjusts his reading glasses (that he will never admit he has to use.) And he laughs, like this is all a joke. You place your hands on your hips, rolling on the balls of your feet as you stare at him menacingly.

“I am not joking. The only thing we’ve—you’ve—decided about our wedding is that I’m going to be walking down the aisle to some weird song you heard in The Godfather.”

“A lovely song,” he interjects, watching you walk until you’re just a few metres in front of him.

“Absolutely not.” You pause, breathing slowly. “And we have no other mutual free days for a while. So here’s the deal—for every decision you make about the wedding, I take one article of clothing off.”

He laughs outwardly, nodding and setting aside the thick stack of paper he’d been perusing. “Deal. You have my attention.” He settles further into the chair, staring at  you with want and amusement.

“Um, okay. Where do we get married?” You smile.

“Italy. Everyone knows everyone here in Monaco, and everywhere else is too far.”

“Okay,” you agree, wrestling the hoodie off and revealing your bra underneath. “Good.”

“You’re beautiful,” he says quickly before you slide into the next prompt.

“Sweet talker,” you retort, settling your thumbs into the drawstring of your trousers and readying them to pull downward. “Alright. Band or DJ?”

“Oh, shit.” He thinks. “Band. It’s got to be band. And if that goes to shit we plug in a phone and play Spotify the rest of the night.”

You laugh, nodding in agreement. “Smart,” you huff out, pulling your pajamas down. He stares, eyes running up and down, anticipatory. Fingers make their way to the clasp of your bra and you mull over the next question. You’ve both settled on a few things—catering and cake and the like—so you skip over those. Then you remember the reason why your guestlist remains unfinished and unfinalized.

“Best man?”

“Oh, nooo,” he moans. “Damn, no.”

“I need an answer,” you sing-song, playing with the clasp. “Or these stay covered all night.”

“It’s too hard, beautiful,” he groans, covering his face with his hands. “Okay. Fuck, okay—Joris.”

“Your choice,” you say, brows raised.

“He’s going to make a fool out of me during his speech, isn’t he.”

“Very likely.”

“Okay, no—Lorenzo.”

“You sure?”

“No—no, Pierre. Pierre.” He nods once. “Pierre.”

“Pierre, final answer,” you say smilingly, unclasping your bra. He smiles, giddy when he finally gets to see almost all of you.

“Yeeee—no, no, Lorenzo.”

“What?!” Your hands flee to cover your breasts and you narrow your eyes at him. “You are such a—that is cheating. Cheating!”

He just laughs, shrugging his shoulders as if to say what can you do. You roll your eyes, but maintain composure, nodding slowly. “Alright… oh, honeymoon.”

“Uh, uuuh—five days in Paris,” he says eventually, grinning.

“Oh, these panties are not coming off for Paris.” Granted, it’s a beautiful city, but both you and Charles are there nearly all the time for work, and it’s so near Monaco it’s basically the same thing. 

“It’s all I can do for my schedule,” he retorts, insistent. “Take off your panties.”

He has a glint in his eye that strikes both amusement and competition in you.

“I will not,” you shoot, smiling and stepping backwards once, hands still covering your chest.

“Take! Off! Your panties!” He hollers, getting up and making a beeline for you. You squeal, turning around and bounding up the stairs toward your bedroom; he’s hot on your tail, laughing.

“Never!” You yelp, a high-pitched sound as you take refuge in the bedroom. “I want three weeks in Hawaii!”

Now, in terms of dynamic? They know each other, they've interacted a bunch and are friendly with each other, but I don't believe they're ... Close per say.

Don't get me wrong, I believe they'd be considered acquaintances, 'friends' at best. But they also don't interact with each other enough to be considered genuine friends. Mainly because Dawn avoids the med bay and any medical professionals or places, not because he has a problem with the people, but because he hasn't had positive experiences with medical settings in the past. And since he completely avoids the med bay and claims he's fine even when he is very obviously seriously injured, he is one of Jack's most difficult patients.

How they would interact? Mhhh, I think they'd get along outside of anything medical related. They're both laid back generally and "quiet" I guess, though Dawn is much more quiet. Jack talks a bunch when he gets comfortable or when someone gets him going, quiet any other time. The two have SOME things in common, enough to find common ground for conversation. They both get annoyed with people easily, both can cook, both hate florescent lights (for very different reasons), etc etc.

So it's more of a "You're a pain in my ass, but I deal with you" dynamic, they've had their intimate moments cause poly shadow company is very real in my mind, but nothing romantic (Jack is aro, doesn't really feel romantic attraction to anyone but enjoys the attention). They're generally peaceful with each other, enjoying the silence and calm presence of one another when they're left alone, sometimes starting up conversation about whatever they can think of.

Jack pokes and prods at Dawn when the moment calls for it, like if he's blatantly avoiding him because his check-up's soon or if he did something stupid earlier that day. Jack cares deeply for all of the shadows and their safety, and he doesn't exclude Dawn. Checks up on everyone and him after every mission, and Dawn does the same but in more subtle ways. Doing physical acts of helping other people silently to check up on them or just sneaking a few glances at Jack after a long mission just to see if he's alright.

And I mean, Dawn could possibly have a thing for him in the future (?) unrequited love or something like that. But it also takes Dawn a long while to get to know people and develop any sort of feelings for them because of the walls he puts up, and they haven't really known each other for very long since technically Jack just recently joined SC. So I'll just put a big fat MAYBE on that for now HSGHF, but I will give you that they HAVE been intimate before, just not really romantically as I said before jshdh

Jack also appreciates Dawn because he never touches the lights in his office or messes with his stuff

- To simplify it, they're friendly with each other when they need to be. Not out-right friends, but close acquaintances. They have brief but nice interactions when they do interact.

Also, feel free to have them interact however you feel they should. I haven't spent too much time dwelling on how exactly their dynamic and relationship works, so this is subject to change. I also like seeing other people's takes on them !!

I tend to make my characters boring with their interactions, especially Dawn. I promise I don't mean to, his boringness is a trauma response 😭

I didn’t realize that some parents don’t use terms of endearment with each other until one of my friends stayed over once and heard my dad singing to my mom and she was like ‘your parents are so cute, they seem to really love each other etc’ and I was like that’s normal right? Anyway my parents flirt with each other like they’re a bunch of high schoolers on the regular.

my parents are also rly flirty with each other JSHDHS !! they are very cute they’re like the old arguing couple but in an endearing way. but they never rly used terms of endearment bc it’s ?? ig it’s a bit of a culture thing but instead of calling the husband by their name in front of others, usually wives say “____’s father” and the blank is the oldest child’s name

like my aunts all call my uncles “____’s father” with each of my oldest cousins names when they’re around us and only rly use their names in private u know ?? so growing up my mom only ever called my dad as my father or she just said his name and he always just said her name and that was it and they were always happy and playful but they never used pet names

but then my sister was like 8 and she was young so she was always pestering them like “why don’t you call each other honey like on tv ?????” and my parents always found it rly amusing so they did a few times as a joke except the habit stuck and it’s been years and they still call each other honey and my extended family is all just like ???? what are u doing ??? 💀💀 jdjsjdj yeah culture disparities while living in america always make for interesting interactions LOL

i really like the idea that while he might generally seem reserved in his interactions with people, he's the kind of guy who genuinely enjoys the company of animals if he happens to come across some (even if said animals don't always feel the same lol, he can't help having an unapproachable aura i guess) and most of the time would stop to pet a dog or a cat, with better or worse result. but because he's usually alone on his departures, it's not something many people know about

to be honest i don't know if it really counts as a sad one, but i think it fits the best out of all that came to my mind, plus i really like it :] ok so. you know how his haori has two different patterns right? one was sabito's and the other (if i remember correctly) giyuu's sister's - both of them were important people to him who died tragic deaths. and i like to think that for every person who he considered a friend or a close companion who died, he eventually added a part of their haoris to his own one too - to commemorate them and the memories they shared even if they're no longer around

Normally I would post an edit today, but there’s something I haven’t revealed yet that I told y’all to stay tuned for. And what better day to do it than on Magolor Day?

So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce..

Mistilor!

The story behind this little guy is kind of funny. I was doodling Magolor on a discord call, and I looked at him and went “this guy looks terrified.”

One thing led to another, and now we have Mistilor.

During the battle against Mistilteinn, Magolor suffered a critical injury from the tree’s branches. As he was hit by this attack, Mistilteinn managed to plant a seed in Magolor’s brain. This seed allows the tree to possess and control Magolor, even after the tree was destroyed.

Because of Mistilteinn’s possession, Magolor lives in a constant state of anxiety, not knowing when the tree will take control of his mind or what he’ll do under its control.

Magolor has reunited and made amends with most of the Dream Team, but he is on somewhat rocky terms with Meta Knight. Truth be told, he’s terrified of him. He knows Meta doesn’t trust him, and he understands why, but he’s also afraid that he will do something to make Meta hate him even more, or even hurt him.

When Mistilteinn takes control, Magolor enters a heavy dissociative state that is difficult to wake up from. It can take hours for him to regain his senses. In the case that one finds him in this state, the best course of action is to safely restrain him and keep him out of harm’s sight until he’s able to come back to his senses. (Wrap him in a blanket burrito. Burrito him.)

When Mistilteinn is in control, he will sometimes attempt to cause destruction using powers similar to the tree’s abilities, though at a smaller scale. While these powers are much smaller than the tree form’s abilities, they can become dangerous if not kept in check.

Additionally, Magolor goes completely nonverbal while in this state. He will often remain nonverbal for a while after coming out of this state. He doesn’t remember anything of what he does under Mistilteinn’s control, but he knows that he went into a trance, and the mere thought of him hurting anyone terrifies him.

He struggles with insomnia, mostly due to night terrors and fear of Mistilteinn controlling him in his sleep.

His outfit contains colors from Mistilteinn itself, a direct result of its possession.

His crown scars are very big, so big that he cannot hide them under his hood.

Oddly enough, he finds some sort of comfort around greenery and forests. In a strange sort of way, being in this sort of scenery brings him some peace of mind and comfort. Perhaps it’s because of the calming scenery and sounds. Regardless, he can often be found hiding in shrubbery and bushes, or napping under a shady tree.

He has a lot of insecurities and worries that he doesn’t deserve any love or forgiveness from others. (He does. He needs a hug. Hug him a lot.)

He’s around 19-20 years old, an early young adult. He’s also pretty small, about 5-6 inches tall.

constructive criticism from this man! will tell you which clothes look more flattering on you. he doesn't know a whole lot about fashion but can tell when something looks nice. although to him, everything you wear looks nice on you - he is in love. if you're feeling insecure trying on clothes he'll emphasize that there's nothing wrong with you, it's the clothes that don't fit you and not the other way around. shopping for his clothes can also be a hassle since man is so large and built sometimes stores don't have his size available. will try on anything you ask him to, though!!

haha wdym i want to go to ikea with kiyoomi just to annoy him? i don't know what you're talking about hahaha🙂 but for real if you're anything like me and feel the urge to just... touch everything in ikea, kiyoomi will be so done with you stopping at every display and faux-room, going oooh this would look nice at home at every item. but he will still follow you around, nonetheless, and make sure you mostly stick to your actual shopping list. he carries the ikea shopping bag for you on his shoulder, tucked under his arm and hand holding the strap. like a mom, but don't tell him i said that.

kita is so perfect to get groceries with. he is the person who can,, yknow,, smack smack a watermelon and tell if it's ripe or sweet enough. he can do this with most fruits and vegetables to a creepy degree of accuracy. you're not complaining, though, because all your groceries are always fresh. he lets you get your snacks and will stay by the shopping cart in line at the cashier while you make a mad dash for something you missed, because he doesn't want you to be anxious if the line moves forward and he's not there yet, plagued by the irrational fear of being an inconvenience and holding up the line while he's getting something. will lend you his soft knit cardigan that smells like him in the freezer aisle. 🙈
